Eats: what do users think?

Robert Green: The establishment offers a delightful culinary experience, with expertly crafted dishes that tantalize the taste buds. However, the service may be lacking during peak hours due to limited staffing. The ambiance is contemporary, immaculate, and conducive to a pleasant dining experience.Vegetarian options: A few, mainly suggest the French toast.

Krista Jackson: Delicious brunch spot in the Inner Richmond. Be ready for a wait, but they move quick. I recommend the B.A.T. scramble or the Fried Egg Sandwich + bacon. The sando is very messy but so worth it. Their Almond Rice Flour Pancakes are a delicious gluten free option. They're super friendly and I love the green living wall installments.Photo: B.A.T. scramble in front and location scramble in back.

Mourad: what do users think?

Amy Higgins: Beautiful venue. It can be a bit noisy when even half full. The service is attentive yet we still need to ask a few times for things. We were a large group, so that’s completely understandable. The food is delicious. Some dishes are perfect for sharing while others are individual works of art. I kinda wish all the dishes were for family style - could add to the upscale comfort style.

Komaaj: what do users think?

Sunny T: Really cute place! Their menu is limited but good food and ambiance nevertheless

Razieh Khajehyar: It was my first time in Komaaj, and I’m sure I’ll be back there again and again as everything was perfect there. The restaurant was designed very nicely and completely in Persian style. My partner and I enjoyed food, atmosphere, the hospitality and cheerfulness of the owner. He explained the details about food and recipe very nicely and friendly. Then we picked two beers with a Persian name “Shams” which we enjoyed a lot. Finally our food was served. The most delicious smoked trout we had ever had and pomegranate chicken.I strongly suggest trying the food in there.

bahar behdad: with chicken. The combination of the rice, with the chicken and the sauce on top along with the salad topped with sliced carrots, pickles and cabbage was so amazingly good that every bite you would take it made an excitement to have the next bite… I would drive from to SF just to have one more bite of the food! Can’t recommend enough!

Christopher Chung: A beautiful showcase of northern Iranian cuisine — big on fresh herbs and vegetables, berries, and lemon juice. Hearty, yet healthy, Komaaj renders a wonderfully homey taste rarely found outside a mother’s kitchen.Cucumber salad, crisp, clean and nourishing. Naz Khatoun Dip, a big step up from baba ghanoush — topped with green herbs and barberries, served with crispy sangak bread.Sour chicken stew with rice — near heaven. A combination of gormeh sabzi and fesenjoon flavors, good mixed with good to make perfection. Smoked trout with rice, a nice salty accompaniment to cut through the sweet and tangy found in most dishes.Cucumber-vinegar-mint drink, thirst quenching and satisfying. Ayran yoghurt drink, perfect accompaniment.Currently, Komaaj tops the list of new restaurants in Bernal Heights/Mission. Outdoor seating, an added plus.Vegetarian options: Wide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes

Lazy Bear: what do users think?

Adam Vieira: Of course it was delicious, why wouldn't it be? It was a unique experience with the field guide notebook menu and nostalgia centered experience. The 5th star comes from the service. Not only was it the best, most comprehensive service I've ever received, but after the meal I was given tips and recommendations about the neighborhood, and later in the night I randomly ran into a couple of the chefs at a bar and they recognized me and made references to specific events from the meal earlier in the day and were generally extremely nice and funny and friendly, even after they were required to serve me. Wonderful experience all around. I would recommend it to anyone.

isabelle C: The food is here amazing start to finish. The desert is was so delightful. I loved all the food here and when I went, there were a lot of fish dish and all of them were great. It was rich in flavor but still not heavy. The staff makes you feel comfortable. The service is amazing because they are not stiff and yet make you feel very attended. The atmosphere is fun like dark cabin in the mountains like cozy and grand. I will for sure come back in the future.

Jeff Sharp: OMG. This was my best dining experience ever. Not only because of the amazing menu. The service was absolutely amazing, and the staff was so friendly and happy to share information about each dish and glass. This was an extremely special night for us and we will be looking forward to visiting on other special occasions in the future!!!

Sotto Mare: what do users think?

Sayana: If you're a seafood lover in San Francisco, Sotto Mare is an absolute must-visit. This unassuming gem tucked away in North Beach delivers an unforgettable seafood experience that will leave your taste buds singing. The cioppino is simply the best I've ever had. The broth is rich and flavorful, brimming with a medley of fresh seafood – Dungeness crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, and fish – all cooked to perfection. Every spoonful is a symphony of flavors that will transport you straight to seafood heaven. But the culinary delights don't stop there. The Sanddab is also must-try, cooked to perfection, very light and delicious. Sotto Mare's oyster shooters are a revelation. The plump, briny oysters are perfectly complemented by the zesty cocktail sauce, creating a delightful explosion of taste that's both refreshing and invigorating. It's the perfect appetizer to kick off your seafood feast. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is lively and convivial.Must visit!

Delancey Street Restaurant: what do users think?

Kaitlyn Newman: Wow. Went here late in the evening after a long day. The service was amazing. The restaurant had a very high scale look so we were pleasantly surprised with the authenticity of the wait staff. Portions were bigger than I was expecting for the low price and the free bread was a wonderful treat. The cook on the steak was perfect. Only after did I learn that this facility is used for training members of the Delancey Street Foundation. What a special place.

Pamela Vong: Solid comfort food at very reasonable prices.

House of Prime Rib: what do users think?

Kimberli Hiller: Hands down the best meal of my life. The service was impeccable, they took my food allergy into account and I was served an excellent meal. For the price, your meal includes the creamed spinach, potato of your choice, salad, Yorkshire pudding, and then the prime rib itself with all the accoutrement. 10/10, make a reservation if you can but be warned they book out several months in advance. We walked in, put our name on the waitlist, and were seated about 1.5 hours after getting there. Worth every minute of wait time.

El Gallo Giro: what do users think?

Melissa Renati: I retired from my job in the Mission in 2018, but do so miss my regular runs to El Gallo Giro for my crispy carnltas tacos and Mexican Coke. I sometimes ordered other choices, but always came back for my crispier carnltas tacos!

B E: burrito with carnitas is basically the easiest way to activate and instantaneously align all the chakras.

Hander Rivas: This is by far one of the best taco trucks in the area. I have been coming back here for about two years, and I'm finally writing a review. I have tried everything on their menu and only one item I don't like, but it's my personal opinion. Their seasoning it's always on point. In two years, the food is always great. You get a good amount of meat per taco compared to every other truck in the area. Also their price is much lower than the competition. I have tried every single taco truck in the mission district, and this one is by far the best.

Liholiho Yacht Club: what do users think?

Sylwia K: . The ribeye steak was well-cooked and a generous portion; enough to share for 2.

Daniel Funk: The food and dining experience were incredible.Duck liver mouse banana bread deliciousBeef tongue steamed bun incredibleOcean trout sashimi amazingPork shoulder entree was out of this worldThe only items I would skip for next visit are the mochi custard dessert, odd texture and not enough custard vibes, and the groundskeeper cocktail, too lemony for my taste, I was hoping for something more old fashion like.Definitely would come back again.

Annie Evans: This place is absolutely delicious! My favorite dishes were the ahi poke app, snap pea salad, and the pig head app that was a delicious Brussels sprout salad.I could’ve done without the curry dish but everything and everyone was incredible. We sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender. Definitely a fun, delicious chiller vibe.

Mario Dos Campollo: A fantastic meal, every dish hit. Liholiho is a terrific Asian fusion restaurant nestled in Nob Hill neighborhood. The pig head was my favorite, it paired well with zesty-ness of the Brussels sprouts. The swordfish was fried perfectly, it was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The rice was excellent. Putting the care for something as simple as fried rice can really make it special. The beef tongue was tender and delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely attentive. They helped with our special night and made it even better. In my opinion, I think Liholiho is missing some Michelin stars. Dos thumbs up 👍👍Dietary restrictions: Let them know before so they can accommodate.

Lore Dp: Came here to celebrate my birthday and I’m so happy about my choice. Food was fantastic; it felt like a good mix of experimental and traditional dishes. Highly recommend the catfish katsu and the gulf shrimp, but everything else was also great. I was also impressed by the service, not only did food come fast but our waiter was so friendly and provided great recommendations. It has become one of my favorite spots in the city. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Brenda's French Soul Food: what do users think?

Cynthia Colas: The service is superb and the place gives off a very southern soul vibe to it, but the food isn't quite flavoral. It's missing seasoning. I would recommend that the cook works on putting more season into the food.

UV: I need a deep dark roux in my gumbo. Brendas gumbo was more Filé powder based which didnt really do it for me.But I ABSOLUTELY loved the oysters. I dont even know if i EVER want to eat raw oysters again. That BBQ sauce one was BOMBHowever props on the beignets. You're about halfway there. You need the hole in the middle. But it is incredibly difficult unless there's one person dedicating themselves to the beignet dough. So I can't blame you for that.

Alexandria Ulve: were everything I wanted out of a New Orleans classic. We grabbed a few to take on the flight home. The oysters had good flavor but the texture was a 7/10. I would purchase them again but I’ve had better. The service was attentive even during busy brunch. The atmosphere makes me feel like I’m back in New Orleans. Other items we ate that were also phenomenal and worth the mention: garlic spinach, gumbo, and spicy seafood pasta.

Forrest Spellman: The crawdad beignets are to die for... and everything from appetizers to entrees is delicious. We were helped by a friendly waitress. She deserved every last dollar tipped!

Phil M: Anytime a friend comes to town I recommend going to this place because of all great options they have. I've tried most of the things they've had on the menu. Today it was the pork belly and grits and the beignet flight. My friend went with a more sweet option of bananas foster French toast and Ube beignet. We both ordered the molasses coffee as well, they gave us oat milk on the side for a great lactose free option. I shared my flight and we were both gladly stuffed at the end. There are so many things on the menu that make the choice difficult every time I go and the wait staff is always so great.

Wayne Earl: The food was soooo good!

Plow: what do users think?

Chris Chen: , and after sitting down and ordering waited 40 additional minutes to receive our food. We also saw others seated after us get their food first - not unusual, but just an additional point of frustration. For reference, we finished eating at 1:30 and we got in line at 11:30, spending only 2 minutes actually eating. It’s a shame because the food is actually quite good - but honestly, it’s not worth that much of a wait. Waterbar Restaurant: what do users think?

Marcela Diaz Gamboa: The most favorite Margarita #Mango

Moronie Fall: Went to waterbar for my birthday dinner with hubby. The vibe is very romantic with the low lights. You do have view of one the bridge and it was beautiful at night. Food wise the waiter recommended the braised short rib which my husband loved and I did the stuffed lamb loin it was good but not what I was expecting as it sat on some sort of flat but very flavorful. I also did the tiger prawn cocktail. The shrimp themselves were yummy but the cocktail was not it, it tasted like wasabi and had a very strong taste and flavor. Not sure if that’s how cocktails usually but that’s not what I was expecting. Overall good. The only thing is the waiter was a lil bit excessive coming to check on us but he did get me a lil birthday treat 😋

Boulevard: what do users think?

Jim Fawcette: Excellent service, very good food, in a nice setting along the waterfront with some tables having a view of the Bay Bridge. Despite the packed house every one of the staff were friendly, helpful, tremendous team. One of us, a visitor from Tokyo, left behind a gift for his grandson. The restaurant took it to his hotel. Amazing. We had a four course meal, and all five of us enjoyed each item. Sea Bass was very good, Ahi Carpaccio was excellent. Good wine list & countering a current trend, a good selection by the glass. Nice interior with curved ceiling whose tiles come from when the building survived the 1906 Earthquake.Parking: If you get there early, there is "License Plate Metered" parking right out front. Garages are a bit of a walk.

Laura Peters: I have been curious about Boulevard Restaurant located in The Audiffred Building at 1 Mission Street for years, so when friends invited me to join them there, I jumped at the chance. The atmosphere, enhanced by its Art Nouveau theme, is very welcoming, as is the wait staff. With a tasty martini in hand from the full bar, we were escorted to our table which, happily, seemed to be in a location where we could hear one another. Next time I will make notes about the unique features of each dish, but alas, all I can offer now is that every bite was delicious!
