Jim Scott: Always great food and drinks, exceptional service, and great views of the ferry harbor. Our server, Jim, is a real pro - on top of his game. The house barrel aged old fashioned is always a must have. We've been there several times and have never had anything less than fantastic.

Pier Market Seafood Restaurant: what do users think?

H0trodj: Pretty good food

Cherr: but you won’t get sick of it. Regretted not getting a full bowl for myself! Staff are very hardworking and always checking in. It is no wonder there was such long queue at this place. They have a queue system which is good, but the queue gets really long after 6pm on weekends.

Stoned Soup: First off, the staff was amazing. We got a great view. The server was professional and did a great job. The bbq shrimp was delicious, but the crab was not as good as some of the others around there. Was still good, just not as tasty. Clam chowder was OK. Was a nice place to sit and enjoy view. Will be back for appetizers again for sure.

Rayanna Gray: Cod

Mary Tucker: Had dinner here with family recently, while visiting the area. The service & atmosphere were amazing! They used straws made of recycled materials. Pretty cool. Seeing the sea lions from our table was awesome! The food was great, but while the calamari was good, it was a little too thick & chewy for my tastes. Fish, chips, & shrimp were delicious. Definitely check it out!

Luke's Lobster SoMa: what do users think?

773JUAN JEFFRIES: A bit premeditated in reference to atmosphere, due to me only ordering through Uber eats but this place is amazing! The food is one of the kind. My favorite selection is the flight! The options! The crab! The shrimp are so moist and delicious. I will be heading into the actual restaurant today and I’m very excited to pick up my meal in person this time. It’s always a different experience when you actually step in the restaurant that you order from frequently, so I am excited!-juan

JY: I love lobster rolls, so I always try them at places that sell lobster rolls. The Luke lobster roll I tried this time didn't taste that impressive to me.

Elma C: Luke's Lobster is located in the heart of the city and it offers a taste of Maine's famous lobster. Lobster rolls are filled with generous portions of tender lobster meat and served on buttery, toasted rolls. The menu also includes other seafood options such as shrimp and crab rolls, chowders and salads. I find small shrimp roll to be very filling as a lunch option. Crab roll, based on other Bodega Bay restaurants I visited, is just ok. I only had it once. The casual atmosphere of the restaurant adds to the overall experience.

Betty Lou's Seafood & Grill: what do users think?

Katia Rubio: I would give more stars if possible. The choice was casual. We got off the bus and came across this friendly facade and an environment full of smiling people. We entered and were soon served by José who promptly offered us a corner table, which suited our taste. He immediately brought us wonderful bread and from the menu we chose a glass of pinot grigio and another of chardonnay. As expected, we ordered the mussels in their broth with garlic. GODS!!! HOW MUCH FLAVOR. It was so difficult to separate from him that José only took him away after another basket of bread. I drank the broth with a spoon as if it were soup and didn't ask for another portion because our seafood pasta arrived afterwards. Another gem to recommend and eat again.Anyway, if you are in San Francisco, visit and recommend it.

Shay Gennings: Betty Lou’s sets the bar high for dining excellence with its impeccable dishes and outstanding service. The Alfredo sauce, with its ideal consistency perfectly balancing thickness with lightness elevates every bite without feeling heavy. The linguine with clams, cooked to perfection, showcase the chef's skill and dedication to quality. What truly sets Betty Lou’s apart is their exceptional service, where every request is met with warmth and efficiency. And as a sweet finale, the cheesecake leaves a lasting impression, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to culinary perfection. Betty Lou’s is a must-visit for those seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

고경식: I visited San Francisco on a business trip and was recommended by a local, so I was very satisfied. The cioppino was especially great. The staff were also friendly.

Peter Doll: I'll keep it short:I've never eaten such good seafood. Anyone stopping in San Francisco should come here.

Michael Irey: Delicious seafood selection. The oysters here are huge compared to the ones we got over at fog house over at the docks. The shrimp was juicy everything was so tasty. Our server Santiago was very nice and professional, he made us feel very welcomed. I would highly recommend this spot for someone wanting to delicious seafood especially for a cheaper price.

Waterbar Restaurant: what do users think?

Marcela Diaz Gamboa: The most favorite Margarita #Mango

Moronie Fall: Went to waterbar for my birthday dinner with hubby. The vibe is very romantic with the low lights. You do have view of one the bridge and it was beautiful at night. Food wise the waiter recommended the braised short rib which my husband loved and I did the stuffed lamb loin it was good but not what I was expecting as it sat on some sort of flat but very flavorful. I also did the tiger prawn cocktail. The shrimp themselves were yummy but the cocktail was not it, it tasted like wasabi and had a very strong taste and flavor. Not sure if that’s how cocktails usually but that’s not what I was expecting. Overall good. The only thing is the waiter was a lil bit excessive coming to check on us but he did get me a lil birthday treat 😋

Sotto Mare: what do users think?

Sayana: If you're a seafood lover in San Francisco, Sotto Mare is an absolute must-visit. This unassuming gem tucked away in North Beach delivers an unforgettable seafood experience that will leave your taste buds singing. The cioppino is simply the best I've ever had. The broth is rich and flavorful, brimming with a medley of fresh seafood – Dungeness crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, and fish – all cooked to perfection. Every spoonful is a symphony of flavors that will transport you straight to seafood heaven. But the culinary delights don't stop there. The Sanddab is also must-try, cooked to perfection, very light and delicious. Sotto Mare's oyster shooters are a revelation. The plump, briny oysters are perfectly complemented by the zesty cocktail sauce, creating a delightful explosion of taste that's both refreshing and invigorating. It's the perfect appetizer to kick off your seafood feast. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is lively and convivial.Must visit!

Woodhouse Fish Company: what do users think?

Isabel Lezama: Lobster roll was the best.I've had it for 7 years and I want to go back to this place for the same lobster roll.In January 2022 I traveled to San Francisco and couldn't go to this place so at another restaurant I ordered a lobster roll and nothing to see, it was something completely different.woodhouse fich co. It has the best and only good lobster roll.

Hailey M.: Absolutely love this place! Will have to visit san Francisco again just to eat here. I got the calamari and fish tacos!Staff was amazing they took a picture of me and my date after they saw us struggling to prop my phone up 🙂

Anchor Oyster Bar: what do users think?

Gabrielle Santamorena: Went on a Saturday night at about 5 PM, we were seated immediately.Ordered scallops, oysters, garlic bread and rock bass. Everything was absolutely delicious and service was great. One of the few spots in SF where I felt the price of the food was justified and with it. Will be returning.

Pamela Katcho: when the whole team paused closing and helped me look. The staff managed to top the food - and that’s remarkable. Thank you, Anchor Oyster Bar I’ll be back

Elisa Tran: Feels like a neighborhood hole in the wall and the food is amazing. Not over the top, simple and good.Cesar salad and cioppino are a MUST.

Cioppino's: what do users think?

Stinger GT2 tv: 🍤 Food: From the sea’s bounty to your plate, Cioppino’s offers a mix of hits and misses. While some dishes like the Seafood Risotto and Fish & Chips are a splash hit, making waves with their fresh flavors, others might just miss the boat, leaving you wishing for a bit more pizzazz. 🐟🍟👩‍🍳 Service: The staff at Cioppino’s are the real MVPs, bringing to the table service that’s as smooth as a calm sea. Expect to be greeted with smiles and served with efficiency that’s as refreshing as a sea breeze. 🌬️😊🍕 Pizza: It’s a toss-up! Some say the pizzas are the treasure of Davy Jones’ locker, while others might find them a bit adrift. But hey, taste is as subjective as the ocean is deep, right? 🍕🧐🎉 Vibe: Set sail for a good time at Cioppino’s, where the atmosphere is as lively as a sailor’s tale. Whether you’re dropping anchor for a casual meal or charting a course for a special occasion, this place has the charm to float your boat. ⚓🎈🕒 Hours: They’re open when you’re most likely craving that seafood fix, with hours that span lunch to dinner. Perfect for when the tide of hunger comes in! 🕰️🦀So, if you’re navigating the waters of San Francisco’s dining scene, Cioppino’s is a port worth docking at. Just remember, like the ocean, the experience can be unpredictable, but it’s all part of the adventure! 🌊🍴Bon Appétit! Or should I say, Ship Ahoy! ⛵👨‍🍳

Bar Crudo: what do users think?

Gabe R: Ok, first, I am a Black and an American. We are an ethnic group people! Now the review.I first came to Bar Crudo in 2021, literally just stopped here when I left Alamo Square, decided between several restaurants on Divisadero and picked this one. Ordered a scallop tostada and proceeded to have what were the best scallops of my lifetime.I took another trip to the South Bay in 2023, and could not remember the name of the place that provided me such a quality food experience, but I decided to take the Caltrain all the way to the city just to walk around and find it. And I did. This is how good those scallops were, it was worth a 50-mile trek that was a shot in the dark.I enjoy this place very much. It's tight, meaning you are rubbing elbows with the table next to you. But the service is pretty good, you aren't bothered or your needs anticipated but you do get taken care of. The food is good though, I will *always* recommend getting a tostada. The tacos are small, not amazing but solid for a small bite. There's still some outdoor seating, so as long as the weather is decent, you can people watch too. The people say try the happy hour as well, and they are correct! Try it if you're nearby!

Calvin Chang: was really good and filling. Stick with oysters and $9 wine specials, you won't be disappointed!Oh and did I mention the lively, cute decor? Staff were super friendly and knowledgable also :

Danny B: Great spot for oysters and seafood chowder, nice location in SF.

Emilie Sark: A must for happy hour! $2 oysters and mussels. The oysters and toppings were so flavorful. We loved the pico on top of the mussels. The shishito pepper were also perfectly cooked, would have liked if they came with some sort of aioli for dipping. The slaw on the tacos was so delicious, and the tortillas were handmade!Definitely going to come back for happy hour. A great spot on divis!

Portofino: what do users think?

Tyler Harmon: I don’t do a lot of reviews but felt compelled to review this place as one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in years! My partner and I randomly found this place while visiting San Francisco and we were blown away! Not only did we have the best clam chowder of our lives but also some of the best service. Frankie, the owner was our server he is a local legend! We ate outside and everyone walking by knew this guy. And he treated us like royalty. Such incredible seafood and service from a locally owned family restaurant that has been around since 1937. I will never visit SF again without stopping here for dinner! I cannot recommend this place enough and will tell all my friends about this place. Thanks Frankie! We will see yall again next time we are here!

Xiomara Torres: It is my first time to complain, I have always ordered food through Uber Eats and the presentation has been excellent and on 03/03/2024 I ordered dinner and it arrived so cold, a bad presentation, the taqueria-style food, I honestly did not like it, it always came better presented the lemon inside a bag so that the seeds do not come out, the food with something thermal so that it does not cool down quickly. And this time it was terrible, it was the worst delivery I received from the restaurant, I honestly felt very uncomfortable because it is not the first time We ordered food from Porto Fino 😔 and it wasn't the delivery person's fault because he arrived very quickly and was very efficient 😞

Rosie Hutchison: The wait wasn’t terrible, was told 15 min, we waited 15 min. It’s loud and yet somehow cozy at the same time. Loved all the fishing lures hung from the ceiling. Didn’t expect lures to make such good ceiling decoration!I enjoyed the gnocchi with shrimp, it was good, however; I have had better. If you are a gnocchi person, maybe order your second favorite dish. My friend had ordered the special crab pasta with pancetta - it looked quite delicious.I recommend dining here! Service is great and food was delicious.

The Old Clam House: what do users think?

ROMMEL RIVERA: Great place for seafood in the Bayview district. They start you off with a shot of hot clam broth and after that you'll be treated to a great dinner menu. The half shell oysters and the rest of they're seafood entrées were as great as you were in fisherman's wharf also the steaks were cooked to perfection. Must have to try the cocktails they're made the old fashion way , very stiff and flavorful. Must come again to try the other side of the menu. This place has a lot of san Francisco history and nostalgia to look at.Vegetarian options: They offer salads but not too many.Parking: Parking is a little tough. Have to circle atleast twiceWheelchair accessibility: Have room to accommodate.

Rômulo Santos: Very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. They say they are the oldest restaurant still in operation in all of CA, dating back to the 1860s if Im not mistaken. I like how vintage the ambiance is, the huge bar they have inside and the friendly service as well. We got calamari, a very refreshing salad with cheese, walnuts, apples and cranberries and as our main courses were the Seawitch sandwich and some Bass with roast potatoes and veggies. Everything was pretty good specially our salad and the bass plus buttersauce. For dessert we had the guava pineapple gelato/sorbet, so good! Just wish it came in a bigger portion. Overall, very good stuff. Old fashioned and Aperol Spritz were also on point. Definitely coming back!

Christopher Chung: A beautifully renovated, historic landmark —in operation since the 1880s, perfect for hosting out-of-towners or a company occasion.Quality execution of classic seafood and Italian specialties — an excellent, high-quality option when in the industrial quarter of San Francisco.Wide selection of easily shareable appetizers. Oysters on the half shell, fresh and flavorful. Swordfish carpaccio, thinly sliced and ceviche marinated — served with capers, red onion and arugula greens. Perfectly fried Fritto Calamari and Friends includes not just squid but also shrimp and fish.Sautéed Gulf White Prawns, served with asparagus, roast potatoes and mushrooms — straight forward and solidly good.
