Batter Bakery: what do users think?

Olivia Dodge: Happy hour starts at 3! 2 for $5 on many treats.

Ton T: Small cylindrical kiosk bakery with an array of baked goods. Good location but can be a bit windy.

Vincent Doogan: Earlier today I bought a cranberry-citrus scone here that was delicious & a nice kiosk person too.

Marty Strauss: This place is tiny and weird and definitely overpriced - but the cookies are delicious, so treat yourself!

Chung-Hay Luk: The fudge brownies are so delicious!

Kat S: , but I work right across the street from their kiosk.Tip: take a look at the chalk A-board outside for special items they have that day! I almost walked by the other day till I stopped after seeing the Banana Nutella muffin! The girl said they don't have it available everyday :D I also get the mint chocolate cookie when they have it too.

Liza Fanshel: The people that work here are so kind and helpful! Everything is always fresh baked and delicious. Their cupcakes and cookies are a huge hit at our office. The location is very convenient. Great place all around! I wouldn't change a thing.

Anika Reynolds: Simple chocolate chip cookies with a bit of sea salt -- perfect.

Gloria Cheng: Many of the yummy Batter Bakery treats in a cute little kiosk on the slope of a steep hill right in Downtown San Francisco! Get there early since they do run out of the more tasty treats. But a great reward for hiking up California after or before lunch! Favorites are the cupcakes and pound cake style breads.

Jacob Johnston: This quaint little cylinder of baked goodness is a rich respite amid the bustle of FiDi. Honey Fig Goat Cheese Scone this morning was perfect - crisp outside, rich buttery inside, subtle sweetness. One of the best scones I've ever had the pleasure of consuming!

Tartine Bakery: what do users think?

dreamynation: I came by this place due to the high amount of great reviews. The bakery I got in the photo attached did not disappoint. I was thinking about it all day after I had it. One of the best bakery no wonder why this place is so popular. I don't have much to say about their other items since I didn't try it, but I'd retuen to just try this one again!

Miette Patisserie: what do users think?

Farah Shirzadi: Great candy selection and very kind service

Mikaila Smith: FYI they are closed until January 15th

Sara Hoban: 10/10 scharfenberger chocolate cake

Allison Dermont: Hidden gem in Hayes Valley! Delicious cakes and the girl who works there was very helpful.

Marco Montalto Monella: I liked the macaroons from this shop. They were fresh, crispy, and chewy, with a variety of flavors to choose from 🍬The best part was the happy hour deal, where you can get 50% off on all macaroons from 5pm to 6pm every day. That's a great offer! The location was also convenient, near Hayes and close to many other shops 🚶🏻‍♂️This place is worth a try for macaroon lovers. As the joke goes, "Quelle est la différence entre un bonbon et un gâteau? Le bonbon est sucré, le gâteau est sucrant" 🇫🇷

Christiaan Khurana: The best birthday cake I’ve ever had! Perfect buttercream! Not too sweet, great texture, nice and moist dough but not too heavy, so just perfect!

Arizmendi Bakery: what do users think?

Jewel Swanson: Fantastic neighborhood bakery, with the best brownies and bialy and some of the best pastries, cookies, and pizza around. Worker co-op, so all the money you spend goes right back into the business and to the people who work hard to make the amazing products on offer. Of all the locations, this has some of the best pizza, too. Support this fantastic local institution.

Sam Khandelwal: Arizmendi, part of the cheese board collective, is a solid worker-owned bakery that is known for their daily veggie pizza, focaccia, baked goods and to a lesser extent their caffeinated drinks. The cheese board collective is known for sourcing high quality cheese, flour and other ingredients, and innovative recipes for pizza and focaccia. This location has great focaccia, and often decent pizza that you can buy by the slice. However, parking can be a nightmare. What I like about the pizza is the crust. It's slow fermented and that ensures that you do not feel gross after eating conventional pizza.Tip: Check out their daily salad to complement your pizza slice. They also have a daily bread of the day that isn't as good as some of the other specialty bakeries or farmers market, but is a solid choice.

The Cake Queen & Coffee Bar: what do users think?

Elizabeth Macias: The best horchata lattes and tres leches cakes, chocolate chip cookies are sooo good. I tried the pumpkin coffee cake today! 😋😋 sooo good! You have to try!

Guadalupe Vega: This is literally my favorite cake shop in all of the bay area. Their cakes are delicious, and not overly sweet. You can taste the difference. Sadly we have moved to the east bay, so we don't purchase cakes from them as often as we used to, and I have tried other shops but nobody compares. For any special occasion, or just because, I recommend cake queen 10x over. So delicious!! Whenever we are in town we get one of the cakes that are ready to buy. They're such a treat.

JESSICA ESCLAMADO: Did not disappoint, nothing was overly sweet. Just the perfect amount to fulfill my sweet tooth craving. Brookies are amazing! Lavender lemonade is refreshing !

R K: Friends brought us Ube Tres Leches Cake. So delicious. Moist and creamy and just right. Vant wait to try more items

Jennifer Collins: Decided to order a cake for my chocolate loving teenage daughter. I got the smaller size which was perfect for 5 ppl and a slice of breakfast cake for her the next day! It was a perfect cake! Highly recommend!

CJL: First time visit, love the empanadas and Mexican wedding cookies! Went twice in a week. 😯 Love this bakery, tastes homemade. Please keep up the quality! 👍

Google Account: I found this cute little place by searching IG for Bay Area Cakes and came across their social media. Came down about 130pm and they still had a pretty good selection left. We got a few cupcakes, Italian soda, and a chicken pesto baked item. Starting with the cupcakes, for me they're way to dense not necessarily dry but it's a mouthful, although the flavor makes up for it! The Italian sodas were a nice light flavored soda. I am used to American soda having a bunch of sugar but this wasn't too bad. Lastly the Pesto Chicken bake item was so good I should've gotten them both. There was a line forming as we were finishing up our transaction and overall they place is worth checking out. Also the girl who's helped me was very nice had a great smile and very welcoming. I will definetly be back to try other items out.

Elsie Militar: They have various flavors of tres leches and they all rock. I also love their pastries. They make the best looking and tasting cakes. Check out their IG. They will blow your mind.

M Earnest: Absolutely fabulous! I had a custom request for someone who was attending the US naturalization ceremony and they delivered on short notice in a spectacular way!

Bill Cooper: I have had 2 cakes decorated by the cake queen. Both were awesome!! One was lemon burst the other was strawberry shortcake. Decorated exactly the way i wanted, and delicious to eat!!! The cupcakes are also worth trying..

Firebrand Artisan Breads: what do users think?

D M: and the baked goods are pretty bomb as well. I snag bread and misc. pastries from them from time to time. Everyone is always nice and the vibes are pretty solid. The only thing that’s a little off is the seating arrangement. Everywhere feels like an awkward spot to sit. That could very well just be a me thing. It runs warm in the summer, but you may be able to snag a table outside and that addresses both issues. They do have WiFi, but like many other spots you’d be hard pressed to find an outlet. It’s a bit on the noisier side

Patrick D: I don’t often leave reviews, but the croissant is so outstanding I can’t help myself. A good bakery should do the basics well, and their croissant is light and fluffy on the inside, and flaky and crisp on the outside. Bravo, Firebrand!

Rich and Vanessa: . Heated one up this morning and WOW!!!Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Pretzel …

Holly Gore: Love this bakery. Pretzel with goat cheese is amazing; so is the ham & cheese croissant. Breakfast sandwiches are worth the wait if you have time!
