Елена Комиссарчук: Very tasty and beautiful cakes, prepared in three sizes, which gives you plenty of choice. You can also try the taste of any cake in a pastry - both tasty and convenient. There are also pastries made from puff pastry without cream.

Boss Nate Nunta: Swedish princess cake is insanely good. I could eat the entire cake to myself.Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Swedish Princess Cake …

Sean Gray: Parking: It's located on a street with other businesses such as grocery, hardware and bakery. Parking can be difficult later in the day but early it's not as badKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Tight turns once inside but it is accessible

Vanessa Richard: Recommend calling in advance for pre-order pickup hours! Google suggests they are open until 5:30 p.m. on Fridays but when I called, they said 5 p.m. Good thing I did or else we would have had no birthday cake for a friend! Their website has both 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. listed so it’s confusing!

One of the best bakery no wonder why this place is so popular. I don't have much to say about their other items since I didn't try it, but I'd retuen to just try this one again!

Arizmendi Bakery: what do users think?

Jewel Swanson: Fantastic neighborhood bakery, with the best brownies and bialy and some of the best pastries, cookies, and pizza around. Worker co-op, so all the money you spend goes right back into the business and to the people who work hard to make the amazing products on offer. Of all the locations, this has some of the best pizza, too. Support this fantastic local institution.

Sam Khandelwal: Arizmendi, part of the cheese board collective, is a solid worker-owned bakery that is known for their daily veggie pizza, focaccia, baked goods and to a lesser extent their caffeinated drinks. The cheese board collective is known for sourcing high quality cheese, flour and other ingredients, and innovative recipes for pizza and focaccia. This location has great focaccia, and often decent pizza that you can buy by the slice. However, parking can be a nightmare. What I like about the pizza is the crust. It's slow fermented and that ensures that you do not feel gross after eating conventional pizza.Tip: Check out their daily salad to complement your pizza slice. They also have a daily bread of the day that isn't as good as some of the other specialty bakeries or farmers market, but is a solid choice.

Ambrosia Bakery: what do users think?

Sonya Peters: and a double espresso for 13.50. The prices are fair, they don't pressure you to auto tip when paying, and the pastries were top notch. The danish was perfectly chewy without being too soggy. The croissant was crispy and chewy with the perfect amount of crunch without the chewy and softness not taking away from the crisp of the croissant. I would definitely visit this bakery again and recommend you visit while you are in SFO. Top notch!

Rebecca Mitchell: Exceptional carrot cake! Also available for delivery

Arsicault Bakery: what do users think?

Joram Morales: Divine. Every time I’m in the city, I have to stop at Ariscault. These are the best croissants I’ve had outside of Paris. Go early because they do sell out of different pastries quickly. By the end of the day there will usually only be butter or chocolate croissants available.Recommended dishes Almond Chocolate Croissant, Ham&Cheese Cuissant, Plain Croissant …

AKIYAMA Shimon: They had a reputation for having the best croissants in America, and they were truly insanely delicious. Not only does it have an incredibly rich buttery flavor, but it's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, even when it's cold.We recommend the plain croissant and almond croissant, but honestly, with this quality, whatever you order will be outstandingly delicious. The kouign amann and morning bun were addictively sweet and I could eat them all in one go.

Lotta's Bakery: what do users think?

Brian Jones: Got a chocolate birthday cake here the other day and it was delicious. Not too sweet. Very chocolatey. I dispise how every bakery I go to all have the same thing ....marzipan and tarimitsu..... this place had good old fashioned well crafted cakes at very reasonable prices. Please support this business. They deserve your patronage.UpdateStill the best bakery in town as far as Im concerned. Also you can pick up a gift while getting your Birthday Cake. They also have a doxen assorted wonderful, delicious , scrumptious delightful cookies for 10 dollars now.If ithe goes up by the time you see this review it's because of Bidenomics but I'll guarentee it will still be the best deal in the USA.As a native San Franciscan i can honestly say this place reminds me of the good old days before tech money and yuppies ruined it.They have the style and attitude that is reminiscent of authentic genuine old school San Francisco.A very lovely experience indeed.

Winfield Raj: Unusually Amazing!!

Bubbley Singh: Really good sweets

Can Goksal: Very cute bakery, cozy atmosphere, and delicious sweets.

natalia alayza: When I moved to the US I remember missing having a go-to bakery, that bakery that makes you feel like home, always has top notch pastries and savories that will satisfy all your cravings. I miss all of that until I found Lotta’s.

On Location ProStylist Oscar J Molinar: The Mexican wedding cookies are the bestgreat find on retro Artwork and posters. If you get a chance stop by and take a dozen variety cookies for $10

Arran: Extremely friendly owner toured us around the store, amazing baked goods!!

carolyn: Delicious princess cakes!!!

Jennifer Lee: Visited there not disappointed with the atmosphere. Can’t judge the food

Andy vague: Lovely place. I even bought a jacket

CAROLYN CAMPBELL: and we ordered a generous slice of lemon Bundt which was stunning. I’ve never had a lemon pound cake that has more lemon flavor than this one. It's sweet and sour, dense and moist - utterly delicious.

S Paul: For my San Francisco City Hall wedding I decided to Google bakeries near by city hall and the hotel we were staying at for the rest of the weekend. I wanted everything to be within a good distance for the sake of time.I found Lotta’s bakery from that search. I called to get information concerning their availability on my special day. I was very pleased after speaking with Earl, the owner of the bakery. He assured me that he could make a nice “wedding” cake and it would taste great.Let me say… HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It is the best money I have ever spent on a cake. Everyone of our guests as well as myself and my husband could not get enough of that cake. It was de -“freakin”-licious!!!! It’s was so darn moist and fluffy with hints of vanilla and coconut. The buttercream icing, like the cake was so damn good. It was perfectly sweet, not overly sweet in anyway which proved to very dangerous but o well it was worth every calorie. Btw it was a vanilla/white 8” white cake with butter cream icing, a very beautiful cake!I am a little late writing this review but I have already called Earl at Lotta’s bakery in San Francisco to thank him for adding this special layer of greatness to our special day! He is so kind and I cannot say enough about how delicious my cake was. Do yourself a favor and place an order for whatever he bakes because I have no doubt that it has to be the best you have ever had.

Diana: Very interesting presentation and design of cakes. Delicious! Recommended!

Doug Thrailkill: . Immediately fell in love with Earl's Blackstrap molasses Ginger Bread. So happy to discover that he is still in business. I just moved back to San Francisco after being away for nine years. Good to have a high quality local bakery near by. There are so many things that I like and have missed. They will be seeing me on a regular basis.2. Stopped by and got some of Earl's Blackstrap molasses Ginger Bread again yesterday and had a nice talk with him too.

norman burns: Best coffee crunch cake in the city. Just like the cakes from BLUMSBAKERY. Norm burns

Serena VCK: DELICIOUS pot pie and wonderful atmosphere. Delightful music and kind baker.

Aliza Ehrlich: Absolutely delicious pastry and cake shop. Such a variety of sweets available! Excellent service. Custom cake orders exceeded our expectations. I can't say enough about the high quality of this bakery!

Robert Borsdorf: Undeniably the best bakery in SF and any reviews that say otherwise are anomalies or in bad faithWheelchair accessibility: Ground level

Noopur Gupta: Cute small spot, always has a queue, has an outside seating. Tried their Potato Vareniki and Mushroom Blinchiki , tasted amazing! Will def go again to try other things they have.Food: 5/5 …

Salamander: Initially we went to have lunch at a Korean kitchen, but when we passed by, we saw a crowd at the entrance to the establishment. This intrigued us and we decided to look into Google to see the rating of the establishment. The rating of the establishment also did not leave anyone indifferent - 4.7 is, say, a rarity for a cafe. The establishment itself is not big. You can only get a seat on the street. Since the queue is long, all the tables are also occupied. But we were lucky - the table we had scheduled quickly became available.Let me first describe the advantages: 1. The price category is average, 2. The menu can be viewed online, 3. The choice of dishes is decent, 4. The service is fast - you didn’t have to wait long for your order, 5. The establishment has a toilet and it is quite clean, 6. From the food I liked the dumplings and bread.Cons: 1. I didn’t like all the food - we ordered: borscht - nothing special, we expected it to be at least approximately like home, but unfortunately not. Pancakes with cottage cheese - I didn’t like this dish at all. The cottage cheese resembled some kind of raw, tasteless dough. The only thing that saved the situation was the jam that came with the pancakes. If it weren't for him, everything would seem insipid and strange. Grandma's chicken soup - a lot of noodles... it seemed like they ordered spaghetti, which was poured with broth on top, 2. Drinks - they took compote and beer. In general, I don’t recommend dark beer - it’s bitter and smells like alcohol - not for everyone. The compote is tolerable and moderately sweet. Conclusion: the food is average, no frills. If you want to save money and have a quick snack, or you are too tormented by nostalgia, this is the place for you.

Sarah Ryherd: The staff is so friendly, the prices are affordable, and DAMN was that cake good!! I couldn’t have been happier with a cake for my bougie birthday party 💕

Brett Richardson: Got our cake here and used it for our wedding. 100% would do again. Worth every bite

Kushal Pawar: Cupcakes are delicious! However, the customer service is a hit or miss, Ive found sometimes the girls in the front can be stand offish and Ive felt rushed with my orders

Mackenzie Worrall: -- just fancy enough for a tiered cake. Pretty Please made everything simple from up-front pricing, to to-go sample cupcakes, and even pickup in a well-protected box for our multiple-hour drive north. We are *definitely* ordering more tiered cakes for fun again, and we will *definitely* be using Pretty Please.

Erin & Nick Sardo: The wedding cake came out amazing! It was exactly what we had imagined and then more.

Edgardo Machon: I had a specialty cake made and it was beautiful AMD the flavors where great not to sweet making you come.back for another slice

I got the garlic aioli - so good! They have a great outdoor seating area to soak up some sun too.Highly recommend, I will be back.

Tee Ponsukcharoen: The gem of bakery wonderland on the other side of SF. I have been here many years ago and I am glad to be back. This is my first time trying the famous breakfast biscuit sandwich. It is tasty and super fluffy, both the biscuit and the scramble eggs. It is perfect. I also got many other pastries and they are all amazing. The shop doesn't seem to spare any sugar and butter lol. So the pastry here will definitely satisfy your devil's sweet tooth cravings. The price point here is considered cheap compared to other fancy bakery shops in SF as well. I would definitely come back again!

Stella Pastry & Café: what do users think?

Rita Braun: I grew up within spitting distance of Jewish and Italian bakeries. So as an experienced lover of Stella-style treats, if you haven’t been to Stella’s Pastry, I say this: Do go as soon as you can.Her baked treats will delight you. And her americano ranks in the top 2% of all sipped, considered, and scored. If you love americanos, you know what I’m talking about.

Ilaria Prescott: A bakery that knows how to surprise you deserves 5 stars. There are many amazing bakeries in this city, and I enjoy a lot of them. But for me, Stella Bakery is a place where I feel at home with real Italian flavor in every pastry.Their cannoli and tiramisu taste truly authentic, and I also love their Fedora cake slice. The staff is always smiling and friendly. The cafe space is small, but if you can snag an outdoor seat when the weather is nice, it's one of the most relaxing experiences. I also love their cappuccinos.Stella stands out for capturing the genuine Italian essence in their baked goods and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's a stellar bakery that lives up to its name.

Krishin Asnani: Friendliest service from Marianna, the soul of this place. It’s a big deal to choose the right establishment to become a regular and predictable to the right type of staff; This place knows I like my double cappuccino frothy in their smaller, curvy, stylish cup; their oven fresh almond crusted biscotti and apple turnover is to die for; Great eye candy of colorful cookies behind glass reminds me of paintings by Wayne Thibeaux.

Barmak Heshmat: This is really the best Italian bakery i have seen in bay area. So just to remind myself for the next time. I recommend the ones with green tick mark and don't recommend the ones with red cross. The cookie with double jelly is the best and half chocoletted hazelnut biscuits.

Hawra Mohammed: Good.but why is the tiramisu frozen

Asi Afuhaamango: Quick service. Ordered a cake here for my daughter’s birthday. Cake was affordable and the frosting is great. Cake wasn’t too sweet or dense. Just all around perfect. The kids were a little picky but next time I know to order either vanilla or chocolate but for parties the other flavors available are best for them. Their breads are also great. I want to come back here and order things from here again.

Charles Evan: Deelishusss…..even at 3:30 in the afternoon. Classy breads and yummy treats. Only the best ingredients. With all their activity, they still patiently make time for new customers to struggle over a scone or a croissant. I have only gone twice…. So farDietary restrictions: Yummy gluten free option!

Angela Wang: I’ve been to loyal to SusieCakes for years and have everything good to say about how good their cakes taste. My personal fav is their red velvet - there’s just something so scrumptious about the way they make it, even if it is just a smidge on the sweeter side. It’s the perfect treat for me. Their customer service is also spectacular. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience.

Clara Pechou: It’s very delicious, lovely staff, I recommend

Anthony Hydron: Skinner, the person who took my order was a wonderful human. I came to pick up the birthday cale ordered and it could t be anything more than what I asked for. The staff was all amazing!

Mark Orebiyi: . I should’ve got a dozen. They were so good and rich. The cake was moist as well which added to a layers of texture which was fire. I will most likely go back again.
