So for my birthday this year, I knew exactly where my cake needed to come from and let me tell you, there was no compromise. I wanted another cake from Camisha. The quality of ingredients, the flavor, the care, and the customer service are all outstanding. The cake was really moist and the true chocolate flavor is to die for. The peanut butter buttercream is perfect without being overly sweet. I'll be requesting another Camisha's Cakes for next year. Do your tastebuds a favor and order a cake from this really talented local SF baker. Those cakes from chain bakeries don't even come close to Camisha's superb quality.

I’ve tried a variety of flavors of cakes/cupcakes - red velvet, strawberry, coffee, pineapple upside down cake, lemon, and my favorite is chocolate with caramel. Other decorative cakes and cupcakes can sometimes be a hit or miss since they may look better than they actually taste. With Camisha, you’re absolutely going to get something not only beautiful but incredibly tasty as well. I’ve had multiple friends tell me they are not usually fans of a particular flavor of cake, but LOVED what Camisha made.

I like the cake pops, but my all-time favorite is Camisha's Carrot cake with pecans! It was hard to find a good carrot cake until I had hers. It truely made the day an extra special occasion! After ordering, we made a few changes to the flowers on the cake and deliver instructions and the staff at Butter& was SUPER fast at responding and so professional. They delivered the cake on time and it was GORGEOUS - perfectly matched florals and super cute design! Then we tried the cake itself. When I say that our vanilla cake was THE BEST CAKE I’VE EVER HAD, it’s an understatement. The Tonga vanilla bean cake with ridges and fresh flowers was the way to go. Best decision we made in terms of food/dessert - just wish we ordered more or at least got the sheet cakes

All the options were delicious – really great flavor but not overly sweet, and a good balance of cake to frosting/cream. We decided on the Brown Butter + Meyer Lemon because we loved the lemon curd.They had a lot of very cool designs, and we chose a two-tier blue marble with fresh flowers. It looked great on the website, but was even more beautiful in person, and very unique. Once we had our final guest count, Kevin at Butter& helped us figure out how many additional exposé cakes we would need to have enough for all our guests, and added them to our order.Butter& delivered the cake to our day-of planner directly to the venue, and were exactly on time. They were wonderful to work with, and the cake looked amazing and tasted delicious!

Kenneth Day: Awesome job! Would order again. Cake was a little pricey but well worth it. And they were able to make and deliver a custom phalic cake 30 miles away within 6 hours of me ordering. I don’t know of even regular cake places that could do that. Cake was delicious. The design on top was realistic and the message written on it was hilarious. My only negative was that the piece on top was made out of frosting and therefore was a little to rich to eat but that’s on me not them. It wouldn’t have changed my purchase had I known it I just maybe would’ve opted to pay a little more to see if they had like a brownie filled option. But like I said I didn’t even ask about that so the cake was true to the order. The delivery was organized by them using an Uber and went very easy. I won’t post a picture because Im not sure what I can and can’t post but take my word it was a very professionally made cake. Great job guys. Thanks

Every piece of cake is an average of $9 drinks $6.5 some sweets taste better than others, for example the chocolate pyramid was good, but the yuzu cheesecake taste a little bit like perfume. The chocolate molten cake was the regular japanese chocolate cake with mousse on top.The place is pretty and small, they only have three tables with 2 chairs each, staff was super friendly and fast with the service. I would like to go back to try other things.

Leejay Schmidt: My favorite bakery so far! Everything is divine. From the vanilla bean custard-stuffed Kouign Amann to the croissants, stuffed French toast, and coffee or mocha made with their house-made syrups, everything on the menu has been impressive. Pair that with the cute atmosphere and stellar customer service and you’re in for an absolute treat. Definitely recommend!

MK: Do not believe a single reviewer who bad mouths this bakery. This bakery has hard working staff that are extremely patient and always radiate positive energy to every customer. Im a newer customer and I always get treated wonderfully when I go in. I was welcomed in even when they had been closed for nearly 30 mins. The donuts are pillowy and delicious. The savory pastries are chock full of scrumptious bites. If you are looking for gluten free then this is not for you and you should not go in and then write a bad review about how they don’t provide gluten free options but if you are looking for delicious GLUTENOUS treats then go in to support this awesome bakery!

Shana Abell: This hole in the wall is so good! There are so few shops in San Francisco that sell fresh and tasty pastries, most are hard lumps. I haven’t enjoyed pastries this delicious outside of Europe. Super happy to find this spot. It’s difficult to tell if they’re open early in the morning as the signage is small, so give a good look around so you don’t miss it.

It’s was so darn moist and fluffy with hints of vanilla and coconut. The buttercream icing, like the cake was so damn good. It was perfectly sweet, not overly sweet in anyway which proved to very dangerous but o well it was worth every calorie. Btw it was a vanilla/white 8” white cake with butter cream icing, a very beautiful cake!I am a little late writing this review but I have already called Earl at Lotta’s bakery in San Francisco to thank him for adding this special layer of greatness to our special day! He is so kind and I cannot say enough about how delicious my cake was. Gabby did a beautiful job at staging everything on the cake table and added the dahlias and greenery that was provided by our florist.
