Jewel Swanson: to their delicious breakfast sandwiches to every last thing they make is crafted to the highest degree of excellence. Every bit of the price here is justified by the highest quality and dedication from the staff. A wonderful testament to the quality of food in the Richmond District and on Clement, but also to the culinary talent present in San Francisco as a whole.
Luanne Andreotti: Belly is pretty lean with not much fat in terms of extras to entice. But what they serve, they do well. It has a young start up vibe with good precious offerings, a limited interesting menu for a bakery that also does lunch. It’s pretty much outdoor seating only sans the shade and expect a line. We are told by the counter staff it takes eight minutes to heat the savory mushroom pie or corn pastry with an egg inside. Everything was tasty.Personally I prefer muffins containing an egg to be soft boiled rather than hard, such as the morning muffin at Post Script on Jackson street which can’t compare to anything else. It was a fun place to try and I brought a couple of cookies home to try. The matcha latte was excellent, sweetened with brown sugar. I like that they use good ingredients on their spare cuisine. I do think they might expand the menu a tad.
David Miller Shevelev: I had to contact Bread Belly to get an itemized receipt for processing a reimbursement for one of my colleagues who had a work meeting there and forgot to get the receipt. The staff at Bread Belly were extremely responsive when I wrote to them to request a copy of the itemized receipt.Service: 5/5 …
Jewel Swanson: Fantastic neighborhood bakery, with the best brownies and bialy and some of the best pastries, cookies, and pizza around. Worker co-op, so all the money you spend goes right back into the business and to the people who work hard to make the amazing products on offer. Of all the locations, this has some of the best pizza, too. Support this fantastic local institution.
Sam Khandelwal: Arizmendi, part of the cheese board collective, is a solid worker-owned bakery that is known for their daily veggie pizza, focaccia, baked goods and to a lesser extent their caffeinated drinks. The cheese board collective is known for sourcing high quality cheese, flour and other ingredients, and innovative recipes for pizza and focaccia. This location has great focaccia, and often decent pizza that you can buy by the slice. However, parking can be a nightmare. What I like about the pizza is the crust. It's slow fermented and that ensures that you do not feel gross after eating conventional pizza.Tip: Check out their daily salad to complement your pizza slice. They also have a daily bread of the day that isn't as good as some of the other specialty bakeries or farmers market, but is a solid choice.

dreamynation: I came by this place due to the high amount of great reviews. The bakery I got in the photo attached did not disappoint. I was thinking about it all day after I had it. One of the best bakery no wonder why this place is so popular. I don't have much to say about their other items since I didn't try it, but I'd retuen to just try this one again!

Victoria P.: My bff told me about Avotoasty when they first opened years ago. They had a tiny space where you had to eat outside. I’m so glad they’re thriving at their new larger space, that they’ve had for a while.Recently, my friend and I came by because we needed to sit down after walking the Union Street fair. I got an açaí bowl and it was delicious. I didn’t need to add anything to it. The açaí was tart, the honey added a light sweetness along with the bananas and strawberries, and the oats had a good crunch. Also, I ate so much prior and yet the açaí didn’t get me into that completely stuffed stage. As for the toasts, they’re yummy! I really like the caprese toasty, which comes with mozzarella, tomatoes, and a balsamic reduction. I love the sweet acidity from the balsamic paired with the fattiness of the avocado, which is always fresh.I get the egg toasty when I want something more savory. You can’t go wrong with toast, eggs, and avocados, especially for a geriatric millennial such as myself lol. You got your carbs, protein, and good fats all in one. My only critique is that I wish the toast was thicker. I like a thick toast, especially with toppings such as mozzarella or salmon where a thicker toast would be a more satisfying bite. But in the end, I have to watch my carbs anyway. Speaking of which, that’s the concept of Avotoasty - to provide nourishing and delicious food to the people. As for the space, it’s bright due to the natural light coming in from their large windows. The decor is minimalist, but still inviting. It’s a place where you can chat with friends or read a good book.So definitely check out this Hispanic woman-owned business if you want yummy food and coffee.
Melissa Jurentkuff: Ordered the naked toasty and the salmon toasty. Also a lemonade and a mimosa. The service was quick and friendly. The drinks were good. The mimosa appeared to have fresh squeezed OJ or was high quality enough to fool me. Could have had a better ratio of champagne to juice. The lemonade was refreshing and not overly sweet. The presentation of the food was delightful. The toasts were brought out on a bamboo tray each on their own slab of bamboo. The toast was sourdough, my personal favorite. Just the right amount of avocado. The naked toasty was simple but good. Topped with a dash of salt and pepper along with micro greens and a decorative flower. The salmon toasty in addition to the avo spread and micro greens had yummy smoked salmon, capers, and slivers of red onion. Both had a slice of lemon which added a nice tang when squeezed over the toast.Cute, bright, and clean minimalist atmosphere. Being early on a Sunday morning, there was only one other customer. We enjoyed the addition of a seasonal Christmas tree with avocado ornaments adorning the branches.I paid $50 and change for the entire meal plus 20% tip.Vegetarian options: Options for vegetarian and probably vegan too. Acai bowls, plenty of the toasts were meat and animal product free.Kid-friendliness: Highchair available
Wilfredo: This little quaint shop is pretty cool.First time going. The food options aren't many, but the food was very tasty - AVOCADO BABY!Coffee was very good as well. The location was very clean and cozy.Staff was very nice and accommodating.I would definitely recommend and will be going back.Long live avocados 🥑 😊Vegetarian options: Avocado everything!Parking: Tight street parkingKid-friendliness: Smaller areaWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant

Arvind Pinto: Delicious sandwiches with ham and 🥑. Worth trying
Tee Ponsukcharoen: The gem of bakery wonderland on the other side of SF. I have been here many years ago and I am glad to be back. This is my first time trying the famous breakfast biscuit sandwich. It is tasty and super fluffy, both the biscuit and the scramble eggs. It is perfect. I also got many other pastries and they are all amazing. The shop doesn't seem to spare any sugar and butter lol. So the pastry here will definitely satisfy your devil's sweet tooth cravings. The price point here is considered cheap compared to other fancy bakery shops in SF as well. I would definitely come back again!
Katharina Winner: Good pastries, cookies and cakes. There is outside seating

Noopur Gupta: Cute small spot, always has a queue, has an outside seating. Tried their Potato Vareniki and Mushroom Blinchiki , tasted amazing! Will def go again to try other things they have.Food: 5/5 …
Salamander: Initially we went to have lunch at a Korean kitchen, but when we passed by, we saw a crowd at the entrance to the establishment. This intrigued us and we decided to look into Google to see the rating of the establishment. The rating of the establishment also did not leave anyone indifferent - 4.7 is, say, a rarity for a cafe. The establishment itself is not big. You can only get a seat on the street. Since the queue is long, all the tables are also occupied. But we were lucky - the table we had scheduled quickly became available.Let me first describe the advantages: 1. The price category is average, 2. The menu can be viewed online, 3. The choice of dishes is decent, 4. The service is fast - you didn’t have to wait long for your order, 5. The establishment has a toilet and it is quite clean, 6. From the food I liked the dumplings and bread.Cons: 1. I didn’t like all the food - we ordered: borscht - nothing special, we expected it to be at least approximately like home, but unfortunately not. Pancakes with cottage cheese - I didn’t like this dish at all. The cottage cheese resembled some kind of raw, tasteless dough. The only thing that saved the situation was the jam that came with the pancakes. If it weren't for him, everything would seem insipid and strange. Grandma's chicken soup - a lot of noodles... it seemed like they ordered spaghetti, which was poured with broth on top, 2. Drinks - they took compote and beer. In general, I don’t recommend dark beer - it’s bitter and smells like alcohol - not for everyone. The compote is tolerable and moderately sweet. Conclusion: the food is average, no frills. If you want to save money and have a quick snack, or you are too tormented by nostalgia, this is the place for you.

Rita Braun: I grew up within spitting distance of Jewish and Italian bakeries. So as an experienced lover of Stella-style treats, if you haven’t been to Stella’s Pastry, I say this: Do go as soon as you can.Her baked treats will delight you. And her americano ranks in the top 2% of all sipped, considered, and scored. If you love americanos, you know what I’m talking about.
Ilaria Prescott: A bakery that knows how to surprise you deserves 5 stars. There are many amazing bakeries in this city, and I enjoy a lot of them. But for me, Stella Bakery is a place where I feel at home with real Italian flavor in every pastry.Their cannoli and tiramisu taste truly authentic, and I also love their Fedora cake slice. The staff is always smiling and friendly. The cafe space is small, but if you can snag an outdoor seat when the weather is nice, it's one of the most relaxing experiences. I also love their cappuccinos.Stella stands out for capturing the genuine Italian essence in their baked goods and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's a stellar bakery that lives up to its name.
Krishin Asnani: Friendliest service from Marianna, the soul of this place. It’s a big deal to choose the right establishment to become a regular and predictable to the right type of staff; This place knows I like my double cappuccino frothy in their smaller, curvy, stylish cup; their oven fresh almond crusted biscotti and apple turnover is to die for; Great eye candy of colorful cookies behind glass reminds me of paintings by Wayne Thibeaux.
Barmak Heshmat: This is really the best Italian bakery i have seen in bay area. So just to remind myself for the next time. I recommend the ones with green tick mark and don't recommend the ones with red cross. The cookie with double jelly is the best and half chocoletted hazelnut biscuits.
Hawra Mohammed: Good.but why is the tiramisu frozen

D A: Randomly found this shop, the crepes are really yummy, they are still warm and they are crispy. I was here for visiting, and got crepes from this shop everyday. Now I left the city, I have been missing this crepe shop everyday. Definitely will comeback.
Suresh: Food: 4/5
Lucas Chang: This place is a really cool combination of a creperie and a little Asian snack mart. The crepes and eggettes are really good and both the vanilla and melon flavors we purchased hit the spot after our dinner. The shop part of the building is well stocked with various Asian snacks including hello panda snacks and yakult drinks. I would definitely recommend for a quick snack or light meal.Vegetarian options: Most crepes don’t have any meatDietary restrictions: They’re are eggs and flour and milkParking: Limited street parking in residential and commercial streets nearbyKid-friendliness: They were friendly to my little brother
Paul-Elie Nauleau: Great little shop with a store inside with specialty goods. The crepes with ice cream and whip cream are really good!Parking: Street parking with meters
Steph Wong: , and lettuce crepe. The cheese is nice and gooey and the lettuce provides a nice freshness to offset the saltiness of the cheese and ham.I also love getting their sweet crepes as they always hit the spot. There's some seating inside, but also benches outside. Definitely a great spot to grab a quick meal or dessert.Street parking is most likely your only option. There is residential, but only if you're lucky.

Terrell Marshall: U:Dessert Story is a great spot for dessert lovers! The egg croffle with orange sauce and thyme was a standout—crispy and flavorful. We also tried the ube bingsu with whipped cream and a biscoff cookie on top. It looked amazing and tasted even better. The side of black tapioca pearls added a nice touch. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, definitely check this place out!

The Shiny Dog: A taste of Italy right in the Marina! Transport yourself to Europe in this tiny little store that has lines out the door at lunch time over the weekends - you surely want to gonin when you see that! They're know for their delicious sandwiches, meats and other European fare that will make your weekend picnic at the Crissy beach well worth the visit, and your tummy singing with happiness.
Jersey 12: The best sandwich I have ever had anywhere. Been around since 1929, which is amazing in this day and age.Vegetarian options: Just get a sandwich without meat. The different varieties of Acme bread are great. The tomatoes, Italian peppers and sun dried tomatoes are excellent.
Doreen Rehbock: Busy, Fun, so much to see, smell, taste and buy.... The sandwiches are delicious!!! The meats are Devine...Kid-friendliness: Lucca's is a very tiny and tight shop. We usually only send 1 person into order and pickup. There are two lovely benches and other seating not too far from the front door, so family or friends can wait. This is a very small and tiny shop Very narrow path It's a good idea to grab the to-go menu stand outside while you make your decisions and send one person in to do the ordering and pickup. There are plenty of benches around for you to sit and wait with the kids while your order is fulfilled.Wheelchair accessibility: It would be recommended to call in ahead and order as the space is very tight in this tiny historical building. If you wanted to shop I would suggest calling the owner to make arrangements.

Dan Gottlieb: Avenues SF is one of my go-to spots for coffee and breakfast in SF. I usually get either a breakfast bahn mi or musubis, which are both full of flavor and pretty unique. Great friendly staff, the owner is sometimes there and really kind. There’s a cool place on the sidewalk to hang and talk to neighbors, and a beautiful walk along Ocean Beach is only 2 blocks away. Love this place and hope more people get to enjoy it.
Edwin Ye: Stopped by this charming coffee shop near Ocean Beach in San Francisco and was thoroughly impressed. The coffee art was a delightful touch, and the flavors were robust—exactly what you need on a foggy city morning. Plus, the Curry Bowl was a heartwarming surprise, so flavorful and comforting. A perfect spot for a casual bite. Definitely a gem in the Avenues!
E E: and service ! The owner and his dog are both so sweet !

hanna: the food here was so yummy and our oat milk cortados were perfect!! nice baristas and perfect breakfast and just a short walk to the beach ~
Andrew Maxwell: Upon entering you're greeted with the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Behind the counter you'll find pastries, spam musubi, and a menu to order more.My family and I got their chocolate chip and pretzel cookie, spam musubi, and breakfast sandwich.Everything was delicious! The only difficulty I had there was the cashier was mumbling quietly behind a mask. It made it incredibly difficult to order even when asking him to speak up because we couldn't hear him.
Anthony Nguyen: Vibey surf-island spot with delicious noods, spam masubi, and coffee.
Abby: Their musubi is so delicious, I always drop by here to grab some when I’m in the area. I also like how their matcha tastes; it has a nice and subtle earthy taste to it and the sweetness is adjustable. The atmosphere is also very nice! I love the surfer vibes and the store overall looks so clean and comfortable.
