Rita Braun: I grew up within spitting distance of Jewish and Italian bakeries. So as an experienced lover of Stella-style treats, if you haven’t been to Stella’s Pastry, I say this: Do go as soon as you can.Her baked treats will delight you. And her americano ranks in the top 2% of all sipped, considered, and scored. If you love americanos, you know what I’m talking about.
Ilaria Prescott: A bakery that knows how to surprise you deserves 5 stars. There are many amazing bakeries in this city, and I enjoy a lot of them. But for me, Stella Bakery is a place where I feel at home with real Italian flavor in every pastry.Their cannoli and tiramisu taste truly authentic, and I also love their Fedora cake slice. The staff is always smiling and friendly. The cafe space is small, but if you can snag an outdoor seat when the weather is nice, it's one of the most relaxing experiences. I also love their cappuccinos.Stella stands out for capturing the genuine Italian essence in their baked goods and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's a stellar bakery that lives up to its name.
Krishin Asnani: Friendliest service from Marianna, the soul of this place. It’s a big deal to choose the right establishment to become a regular and predictable to the right type of staff; This place knows I like my double cappuccino frothy in their smaller, curvy, stylish cup; their oven fresh almond crusted biscotti and apple turnover is to die for; Great eye candy of colorful cookies behind glass reminds me of paintings by Wayne Thibeaux.
Barmak Heshmat: This is really the best Italian bakery i have seen in bay area. So just to remind myself for the next time. I recommend the ones with green tick mark and don't recommend the ones with red cross. The cookie with double jelly is the best and half chocoletted hazelnut biscuits.
Hawra Mohammed: Good.but why is the tiramisu frozen

Елена Комиссарчук: Very tasty and beautiful cakes, prepared in three sizes, which gives you plenty of choice. You can also try the taste of any cake in a pastry - both tasty and convenient. There are also pastries made from puff pastry without cream.
Boss Nate Nunta: Swedish princess cake is insanely good. I could eat the entire cake to myself.Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Swedish Princess Cake …
Sean Gray: Parking: It's located on a street with other businesses such as grocery, hardware and bakery. Parking can be difficult later in the day but early it's not as badKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Tight turns once inside but it is accessible
Vanessa Richard: Recommend calling in advance for pre-order pickup hours! Google suggests they are open until 5:30 p.m. on Fridays but when I called, they said 5 p.m. Good thing I did or else we would have had no birthday cake for a friend! Their website has both 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. listed so it’s confusing!

Sarah Senti: Camisha did our wedding cake and everyone said that it was the best cake they have ever had! Her cakes are beautiful and SO delicious and her icing is the best icing I have ever tasted. Camisha is so easy to work with - communicative and friendly and prompt and reliable and personable. We will be using her for any cakes we need in the future!
jose hoil: Everything is very rich
abel fuaau: I've order 3 birthday cakes from Camisha, and every single one has been an absolute show stopper! And they taste just as good as they look! A+++
Malabika Mishra: The frosting on the cupcakes is amazing
richu channakeshava: Made my day! Thank you Camisha
pagie poole: Five stars is not enough! Last year for my birthday a friend surprised me with a true chocolate and peanut butter buttercream cake from Camisha's Cakes. That cake knocked my socks off! So for my birthday this year, I knew exactly where my cake needed to come from and let me tell you, there was no compromise. I wanted another cake from Camisha. The quality of ingredients, the flavor, the care, and the customer service are all outstanding. The cake was really moist and the true chocolate flavor is to die for. The peanut butter buttercream is perfect without being overly sweet. I'll be requesting another Camisha's Cakes for next year. Do your tastebuds a favor and order a cake from this really talented local SF baker. Those cakes from chain bakeries don't even come close to Camisha's superb quality.
Lisa: Camisha never ceases to amaze me! I’ve tried a variety of flavors of cakes/cupcakes - red velvet, strawberry, coffee, pineapple upside down cake, lemon, and my favorite is chocolate with caramel. Other decorative cakes and cupcakes can sometimes be a hit or miss since they may look better than they actually taste. With Camisha, you’re absolutely going to get something not only beautiful but incredibly tasty as well. I’ve had multiple friends tell me they are not usually fans of a particular flavor of cake, but LOVED what Camisha made.
Joey Martin: Camisha did an amazing job on custom cupcakes that were a huge hit for looks and taste! I can’t wait until I have a reason to place an order with Camisha again!
Kathleen Sheffer: Without much direction Camisha surprised me with a beautiful and unique birthday cake that somehow tasted better than it looked! My whole family has been raving about it for the last week. My mom who doesn't usually like frosting or buttercream couldn't get enough of it! Camisha makes the best German chocolate cake and cupcakes I've ever had. Looking forward to ordering more for future occasions!
Robin Lloyd: was aces. We'll order again from Camisha in a heartbeat and are can't wait to try one of her full-sized creations. Highly recommend!
Anne Marie Elliott: I'm a bit late in doing this, but I have to chime in about Camisha and her cakes, more specifically her cupcakes... that she made specifically for my daughter's 18th birthday celebration. They tasted extraordinary and looked that way too!
Fion Hu: My team and I were so pleased with Camisha's cake! I was very specific with what I wanted and she brought our vision to life. She is quick to respond, goes above and beyond to satisfy and ensures to bring a positive experience. I am very happy with my order and look forward to making another order with Camisha's Cakes!
Felicia Rose: I've ordered a few birthday cakes from Camisha, and they are always beautiful and delicious! Her lemon cake is my favorite, it never disappoints.
Eric Enciso: Camisha makes the best cakes using only premium ingredients. Her baking expresses her impressive attention to detail, while maintaining the highest taste and quality. I have tried many of her delicacies and nothing has been less than extraordinary. I was especially impressed with a delicious wedding cake she made for one of my best friend’s wedding. Thanks for always providing excellent service, tasty desserts, and strong professionalism, Camisha!
LauraLee Misi: Stunningly beautiful cakes made from real ingredients! Camisha's Cakes are creative works of art, while they are moist and delicious! My husband's favorite was the chocolate caramel. I like the cake pops, but my all-time favorite is Camisha's Carrot cake with pecans! It was hard to find a good carrot cake until I had hers. It truely made the day an extra special occasion! Thank you Camisha for all the special touches you do with the recipes and designs. I loved the golf scene for Father's Day. My friends thought it was lovely to have edible flowers decorating my cake.
Salima Jacobson: Camisha is the best!! She has made over a dozen pastries and cakes for all my events. From birthdays to holiday office events and the list goes on. I love that I can show Camisha a few pictures of cakes that I like and she puts it all together with her own creativity! I can't wait to have Camisha make many more cakes!
genevieve nizic: Camisha made the cake for my mothers 60th birthday. It was absolutely stunning, white & gold & covered with fresh flowers. We have a lot of food allergies and Camisha was able to accommodate them all while still make the cake taste delicious. Communication was awesome, she was fast to respond and easy to work with. I highly recommend her!!!

Brian Jones: Got a chocolate birthday cake here the other day and it was delicious. Not too sweet. Very chocolatey. I dispise how every bakery I go to all have the same thing ....marzipan and tarimitsu..... this place had good old fashioned well crafted cakes at very reasonable prices. Please support this business. They deserve your patronage.UpdateStill the best bakery in town as far as Im concerned. Also you can pick up a gift while getting your Birthday Cake. They also have a doxen assorted wonderful, delicious , scrumptious delightful cookies for 10 dollars now.If ithe goes up by the time you see this review it's because of Bidenomics but I'll guarentee it will still be the best deal in the USA.As a native San Franciscan i can honestly say this place reminds me of the good old days before tech money and yuppies ruined it.They have the style and attitude that is reminiscent of authentic genuine old school San Francisco.A very lovely experience indeed.
Winfield Raj: Unusually Amazing!!
Bubbley Singh: Really good sweets
Can Goksal: Very cute bakery, cozy atmosphere, and delicious sweets.
natalia alayza: When I moved to the US I remember missing having a go-to bakery, that bakery that makes you feel like home, always has top notch pastries and savories that will satisfy all your cravings. I miss all of that until I found Lotta’s.
On Location ProStylist Oscar J Molinar: The Mexican wedding cookies are the bestgreat find on retro Artwork and posters. If you get a chance stop by and take a dozen variety cookies for $10
Arran: Extremely friendly owner toured us around the store, amazing baked goods!!
carolyn: Delicious princess cakes!!!
Jennifer Lee: Visited there not disappointed with the atmosphere. Can’t judge the food
Andy vague: Lovely place. I even bought a jacket
CAROLYN CAMPBELL: and we ordered a generous slice of lemon Bundt which was stunning. I’ve never had a lemon pound cake that has more lemon flavor than this one. It's sweet and sour, dense and moist - utterly delicious.
S Paul: For my San Francisco City Hall wedding I decided to Google bakeries near by city hall and the hotel we were staying at for the rest of the weekend. I wanted everything to be within a good distance for the sake of time.I found Lotta’s bakery from that search. I called to get information concerning their availability on my special day. I was very pleased after speaking with Earl, the owner of the bakery. He assured me that he could make a nice “wedding” cake and it would taste great.Let me say… HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It is the best money I have ever spent on a cake. Everyone of our guests as well as myself and my husband could not get enough of that cake. It was de -“freakin”-licious!!!! It’s was so darn moist and fluffy with hints of vanilla and coconut. The buttercream icing, like the cake was so damn good. It was perfectly sweet, not overly sweet in anyway which proved to very dangerous but o well it was worth every calorie. Btw it was a vanilla/white 8” white cake with butter cream icing, a very beautiful cake!I am a little late writing this review but I have already called Earl at Lotta’s bakery in San Francisco to thank him for adding this special layer of greatness to our special day! He is so kind and I cannot say enough about how delicious my cake was. Do yourself a favor and place an order for whatever he bakes because I have no doubt that it has to be the best you have ever had.
Diana: Very interesting presentation and design of cakes. Delicious! Recommended!
Doug Thrailkill: . Immediately fell in love with Earl's Blackstrap molasses Ginger Bread. So happy to discover that he is still in business. I just moved back to San Francisco after being away for nine years. Good to have a high quality local bakery near by. There are so many things that I like and have missed. They will be seeing me on a regular basis.2. Stopped by and got some of Earl's Blackstrap molasses Ginger Bread again yesterday and had a nice talk with him too.
norman burns: Best coffee crunch cake in the city. Just like the cakes from BLUMSBAKERY. Norm burns
Serena VCK: DELICIOUS pot pie and wonderful atmosphere. Delightful music and kind baker.
Aliza Ehrlich: Absolutely delicious pastry and cake shop. Such a variety of sweets available! Excellent service. Custom cake orders exceeded our expectations. I can't say enough about the high quality of this bakery!
Sonya Peters: and a double espresso for 13.50. The prices are fair, they don't pressure you to auto tip when paying, and the pastries were top notch. The danish was perfectly chewy without being too soggy. The croissant was crispy and chewy with the perfect amount of crunch without the chewy and softness not taking away from the crisp of the croissant. I would definitely visit this bakery again and recommend you visit while you are in SFO. Top notch!
Rebecca Mitchell: Exceptional carrot cake! Also available for delivery

Noopur Gupta: Cute small spot, always has a queue, has an outside seating. Tried their Potato Vareniki and Mushroom Blinchiki , tasted amazing! Will def go again to try other things they have.Food: 5/5 …
Salamander: Initially we went to have lunch at a Korean kitchen, but when we passed by, we saw a crowd at the entrance to the establishment. This intrigued us and we decided to look into Google to see the rating of the establishment. The rating of the establishment also did not leave anyone indifferent - 4.7 is, say, a rarity for a cafe. The establishment itself is not big. You can only get a seat on the street. Since the queue is long, all the tables are also occupied. But we were lucky - the table we had scheduled quickly became available.Let me first describe the advantages: 1. The price category is average, 2. The menu can be viewed online, 3. The choice of dishes is decent, 4. The service is fast - you didn’t have to wait long for your order, 5. The establishment has a toilet and it is quite clean, 6. From the food I liked the dumplings and bread.Cons: 1. I didn’t like all the food - we ordered: borscht - nothing special, we expected it to be at least approximately like home, but unfortunately not. Pancakes with cottage cheese - I didn’t like this dish at all. The cottage cheese resembled some kind of raw, tasteless dough. The only thing that saved the situation was the jam that came with the pancakes. If it weren't for him, everything would seem insipid and strange. Grandma's chicken soup - a lot of noodles... it seemed like they ordered spaghetti, which was poured with broth on top, 2. Drinks - they took compote and beer. In general, I don’t recommend dark beer - it’s bitter and smells like alcohol - not for everyone. The compote is tolerable and moderately sweet. Conclusion: the food is average, no frills. If you want to save money and have a quick snack, or you are too tormented by nostalgia, this is the place for you.

Arson: The staff are some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I go in every week to get some chocolate pastries. I currently struggle with anxiety which causes a stutter when I speak. The workers are incredibly patient and helpful when I’m ordering and they never complain or seem off put by my disabilities.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a cane and all the staff are so polite about asking if I can carry everything or if I need a hand
Andrea Santos: a hidden gem of a bakery in a city known for their pastries. although the pastries here aren’t the best i’ve had, you can’t beat the price and cozy atmosphere. skip the coffee. overall, would definitely come back to try the other pastries and bread.flat white: it was a latte, and a poorly constructed one.plain croissant: perfectly buttery and crispy. hit the spot!raspberry almond croissant: not too sweet, solid almond frangipanecustard morning bun: the pastry was solid but the custard was above average. really enjoyed this one.

Arvind Pinto: Delicious sandwiches with ham and 🥑. Worth trying
Tee Ponsukcharoen: The gem of bakery wonderland on the other side of SF. I have been here many years ago and I am glad to be back. This is my first time trying the famous breakfast biscuit sandwich. It is tasty and super fluffy, both the biscuit and the scramble eggs. It is perfect. I also got many other pastries and they are all amazing. The shop doesn't seem to spare any sugar and butter lol. So the pastry here will definitely satisfy your devil's sweet tooth cravings. The price point here is considered cheap compared to other fancy bakery shops in SF as well. I would definitely come back again!

D Payne: Gabby is amazing! The cake turned out perfect and the birthday boy and all of his guests absolutely loved it. Will definitely come back in the future.
Aastha Thakkar: Gabby did an amazing job with 2 cakes for our wedding weekend! We had lots of different ideas when we first met her, she really helped us put everything together and sketched it all out. She went out of her way to help us add in personal touches and make it really special. All our guests really loved the cake too!Everything was delivered on time and she coordinated all the storage/ display details with our venue.
Ana Oseguera: The baker Gabielle is great. She is very upbeat and creative. Her cakes and designs are beautiful. I am getting my nieces quince cake here, I know it's going to be amazing. Her flavors when we went to the cake tasting were amazing. She is very quick to respond and super helpful and friendly. Remember you get what you pay for. The price was exactly what I thought it was going to be.
Ben F: We placed an order for some wedding cupcakes with several dietary restrictions. Not only did Gabrielle meet our needs, but she went above and beyond to make sure our order was absolutely perfect for our special day.Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality baked goods for your special occasions! Fantastic service and perfect customer service!
Sonia Siganporia Zimberg: Beautiful wedding cake and great execution! I sent her an inspiration photo, and she really delivered on that vision. I would highly recommend doing a tasting box so you can try all of her innovative flavors. We ended up going with the buttermilk vanilla cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese, and the devil's food chocolate cake & ganache with raspberry filling -- both were excellent!
Jacob Canter: Gabrielle made a beautiful five-level cake for our wedding. We are so happy with the result, but the best part was how Gabrielle made the process easy and enjoyable. We had a great time at the tasting and drawing the cake with her was a real treat. We highly recommend Cake Coquette for your wedding!
Andrew gulbronson: Gabby was super easy to work with. For our wedding we decided to have a small single tier cake that we could cut for the traditional photo and have cupcakes for the guests. They were beautiful and delicious! We went with two flavors of cupcake: salted caramel with toffee and passion fruit! Our cakes was chocolate with raspberry. Gabby did a beautiful job at staging everything on the cake table and added the dahlias and greenery that was provided by our florist. Would highly recommend Gabby for all of your wedding sugar needs!
Amy McCroskey: The best services I received was this fantastic experience, They are the best and they went beyond what came through for what I asked for. Everyone loved and definitely had a good laugh, expeshily the bride to be. They definitely care about their customers and services.
Leslie King: This was the most incredible cake. We had an Alice in Wonderland-themed party and not only was it the most gorgeous cake but it was completely delicious. Every single person that ate it said it was one of the best cakes they'd ever eaten.
Renee Ettinger: The cake was perfect for our wedding. We went with the red velvet and the hazelnut. Both were amazing, and that is coming from someone who doesn’t usually like red velvet cake. Their red velvet is seriously the best I have ever had.
Nathan Walker: Carefully decorated and completely beautiful cakes, flavor and textures are spot on.
Regina OConnor: Absolutely amazing, delicious and wonderful. We had a cake made to celebrate Woebot’s first birthday. I sent a photo and Gabrielle and her super talented team delivered an awesome cake.
Jasmine Cox-Ned: Excellent service

Emily F: Hahdough is the best. Their pretzels bring me right back to Germany- they are PERFECTION. Their cakes are exquisitely made and delicious. You literally cannot go wrong with anything there.
Flono (Flono): Simple and elegant website design. Kind staff. Beautiful cakes and pastries. Can't wait to try it!
Paulli Gatto: The pretzel and the mini apple pie are really high quality.
CMD: Delightful little spot with very tasty treats and friendly staff.Seen some complaints in reviews by folks about price. Coffee is cheaper than Schocks next door. The cost of their croissant with ham compared to those mass produced around the corner at Peet’s is the same and the pretzels can’t be compared price wise to other spots that sell rubbery frozen ones.
Gaurav Torka: Their Black Forest cake is to die for! Only problem is they have a very limited supply, so get there as early as you can! I wish they’d start making more servings
Jewel Swanson: Fantastic neighborhood bakery, with the best brownies and bialy and some of the best pastries, cookies, and pizza around. Worker co-op, so all the money you spend goes right back into the business and to the people who work hard to make the amazing products on offer. Of all the locations, this has some of the best pizza, too. Support this fantastic local institution.
Sam Khandelwal: Arizmendi, part of the cheese board collective, is a solid worker-owned bakery that is known for their daily veggie pizza, focaccia, baked goods and to a lesser extent their caffeinated drinks. The cheese board collective is known for sourcing high quality cheese, flour and other ingredients, and innovative recipes for pizza and focaccia. This location has great focaccia, and often decent pizza that you can buy by the slice. However, parking can be a nightmare. What I like about the pizza is the crust. It's slow fermented and that ensures that you do not feel gross after eating conventional pizza.Tip: Check out their daily salad to complement your pizza slice. They also have a daily bread of the day that isn't as good as some of the other specialty bakeries or farmers market, but is a solid choice.

dreamynation: I came by this place due to the high amount of great reviews. The bakery I got in the photo attached did not disappoint. I was thinking about it all day after I had it. One of the best bakery no wonder why this place is so popular. I don't have much to say about their other items since I didn't try it, but I'd retuen to just try this one again!
