Lazy Bear: what do users think?

Adam Vieira: Of course it was delicious, why wouldn't it be? It was a unique experience with the field guide notebook menu and nostalgia centered experience. The 5th star comes from the service. Not only was it the best, most comprehensive service I've ever received, but after the meal I was given tips and recommendations about the neighborhood, and later in the night I randomly ran into a couple of the chefs at a bar and they recognized me and made references to specific events from the meal earlier in the day and were generally extremely nice and funny and friendly, even after they were required to serve me. Wonderful experience all around. I would recommend it to anyone.

isabelle C: The food is here amazing start to finish. The desert is was so delightful. I loved all the food here and when I went, there were a lot of fish dish and all of them were great. It was rich in flavor but still not heavy. The staff makes you feel comfortable. The service is amazing because they are not stiff and yet make you feel very attended. The atmosphere is fun like dark cabin in the mountains like cozy and grand. I will for sure come back in the future.

Jeff Sharp: OMG. This was my best dining experience ever. Not only because of the amazing menu. The service was absolutely amazing, and the staff was so friendly and happy to share information about each dish and glass. This was an extremely special night for us and we will be looking forward to visiting on other special occasions in the future!!!

Wayfare Tavern: what do users think?

Benedicta Oruerio: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for a business meeting.Wayne and Fred were attentive servers who guided us through the menu and helped us make great selections. The chicken had a nice texture and was delicious.I ordered a medium burger and it was juicy.

Patrick Squire: . Raw bar items are good, cocktails also. Ok Gluten Free options, and informed staff.

Mary De Voe: Lovely place for dinner. Short but interesting list of cocktails. Staff were attentive but not overbearing. Very knowledgeable about celiac and able to adjust dishes to accommodate.Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable about gluten allergy and potential contamination.

Firefly Restaurant: what do users think?

Catherine Malave: Best meal ever! Lovely and tasty food without allergens. They have a soul and heart in their service. Actually safe and amazing for celiac diners!Dietary restrictions: Their website has ingredients lists. It was very helpful to check out some menu items in advance. Gluten free and dairy free options are amazing!

Lindsey Masi: Firefly was our first dinner in San Francisco, and it was a great choice! All of the staff was knowledgeable and helpful about allergens. They marked the menu so that I could avoid the few items with gluten or soy. Most of the menu was top 5 allergen free. We loved our dinner and the dessert was spectacular! The chef is amazing at creating complex flavors and new takes on traditional dishes. I would recommend this place to anyone!

SN P2: As a longtime and frequent visitor to the City, I returned to Firefly last evening to reminisce about the decades of staying at a home on 24th St. Although the “vibe” on 24th St. has changed somewhat over the years, the cozy intimate setting, welcoming and helpful wait staff at Firefly has not. And neither has the excellent quality of the food or its preparation or the variety of menu items. Last evening I enjoyed the baby green salad with golden beets, avocado, and a citrusy dressing which was fresh, delicious, well balanced and textured -and a meal in itself. My partner raved about the creamy curry squash soup. We also split an order of the fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes, horseradish coleslaw and cornbread. The chicken had a spicy crunchy crust, the mashed potatoes were silken, the cornbread arrived with butter and honey, and the coleslaw had a tasty hint of heat.Everything was filling and delicious. So much so that we had no room for dessert. But dining there again was like meeting up with a treasured longtime friend. Thank you Firefly.

SAMS American Eatery: what do users think?

a ricci: Food, service were excellent. Staff was friendly, attentive. Food attractive, generous. We arrived at 11 w/o reservations and was placed outside. It was sunny, no umbrellas. Nice except they had just cleaned the sidewalk so there was a lingering soap-detergent smell.Had California omelet, fish & chips substitute tator tots, Korean chicken benedict.Note.. we tried making a reservation and was told they don't take reservations. The table next to us said they take reservations up to 11:30...so I'm concluding the reservation process is confusing..

Shaun Hennessy: Really excellent place to breakfast or brunch. Whisky habanero sausage Benedict had so many awesome flavors. Coffee was excellent. Probably the best breakfast of our trip.Kid-friendliness: French toast was excellent. Many rich flavors. A lot of food for a kiddo though. Make sure you have other adults save room for extra breakfast.

Amman Sills: Delicious food! Came here before eating at a broadway show. They were sold out of some things we tried to order but was understandable because it was late.Vegetarian options: There were a few options that were vegetarianKid-friendliness: Cool broadway show posters for kids to look atWheelchair accessibility: No stairs! Easy ramp to get to the readutrsnt

Michael Vincent: It’s refreshing to go to a restaurant where everyone from the servers to the cooks clearly take great pride in what they do. The service is friendly and excellent. The food is high quality and has fun and creative takes on classic diner dishes, and there’s a very extensive drink menu with cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks as well. The atmosphere is very clean and comfortable and features signed cast posters from the many musical theater shows that have played the Orpheum over the years. The prices are very fair, especially for this city. Sam’s really provides a nearly perfect diner experience. We’ll definitely be back!

David Hadley: Everything was very good. The place looks very nice. I had the Loco Moco and was very impressed. 2 thumbs up!I went back for lunch. Yummy!

Boulevard: what do users think?

Jim Fawcette: Excellent service, very good food, in a nice setting along the waterfront with some tables having a view of the Bay Bridge. Despite the packed house every one of the staff were friendly, helpful, tremendous team. One of us, a visitor from Tokyo, left behind a gift for his grandson. The restaurant took it to his hotel. Amazing. We had a four course meal, and all five of us enjoyed each item. Sea Bass was very good, Ahi Carpaccio was excellent. Good wine list & countering a current trend, a good selection by the glass. Nice interior with curved ceiling whose tiles come from when the building survived the 1906 Earthquake.Parking: If you get there early, there is "License Plate Metered" parking right out front. Garages are a bit of a walk.

Laura Peters: I have been curious about Boulevard Restaurant located in The Audiffred Building at 1 Mission Street for years, so when friends invited me to join them there, I jumped at the chance. The atmosphere, enhanced by its Art Nouveau theme, is very welcoming, as is the wait staff. With a tasty martini in hand from the full bar, we were escorted to our table which, happily, seemed to be in a location where we could hear one another. Next time I will make notes about the unique features of each dish, but alas, all I can offer now is that every bite was delicious!

Plow: what do users think?

Chris Chen: , and after sitting down and ordering waited 40 additional minutes to receive our food. We also saw others seated after us get their food first - not unusual, but just an additional point of frustration. For reference, we finished eating at 1:30 and we got in line at 11:30, spending only 2 minutes actually eating. It’s a shame because the food is actually quite good - but honestly, it’s not worth that much of a wait. When they do have time they are kind

Spruce: what do users think?

Morgana “MoNa” Q: Spruce is where good times and great friends come together. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to share a few drinks and light bites with friends. The food is ideal for sharing, the drinks are top-notch, and the staff is friendly and attentive. There's something special about laughing with friends at the bar, enjoying the night, and pretending tomorrow doesn't exist. If you're looking for a place to celebrate and create memories, Spruce is the place to be. Cheers!

Amelia Szasz: helped me out when we over-ordered but couldn’t take the leftovers home, because we were headed to a concert. They allowed me to pick up my doggie bag today, with a freshly cooked main. Highlights were the cocktails, charcuterie, little gems, pork cracklins, and today I got to enjoy the steak I ordered last night when my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Yum!

Sears Fine Food: what do users think?

Shivakumar R: Lovely decor and retro feel of this place . Good service and great food especially breakfast and staff were friendly. Really loved the vibe of this placeTry their world famous pan cakesRecommended dishes Toast, Pancake, Swedish Pancakes …

Chandler Taylor: Went here for dinner with a group of 6 - 7 after being at an Expo and had a great time. We were visiting from Charlotte, NC and ever loved the food. We had multiple bottles of wine, apps, and food. We had a reservation and we were seated pretty quickly and our waiter was great. Hands down the best chowder I have ever had so you must try it. Being from Charlotte I’m not use to calamari that is fresh like it was at Sear’s. This is definitely a place everyone should try.

Frances: what do users think?

Sara P: and the salmon dish.TLDR: Overall the ambiance is really nice and the food, especially the starters, is really good. I would probably return but not for the tasting menu.

Phil McC: .Service was friendly, efficient and they were happy to explain things.Menu has about 8 starters, 6 or so pastas or Risottos and on our visit, you could choose between salmon, pork chop or wagyu spare ribs. Many of the dishes feature unusual or adventurous combinations or ingredients and, in fact that led us to some of our choices. All were excellent tasting and perfectly cooked. The wine list has an excellent, well curated selection both by glass or by bottle and the prices are very fair. One other thing to note is a 7% addition to the bill for the local health mandates to supply health care to the employees.

Cassava: what do users think?

Brianne Howell: Great little wine bar to fill Cassava’s spot. Snacks were delicious, and you can bring in local food too. Perfect addition to the neighborhood.

Jane Natoli: Glad to see Cassava re-open this location as a wine bar in the neighborhood. A fun list of wines from Yuka and the rest of the crew, great snacks if you need a bite, and a welcome addition to that stretch of Balboa. I will definitely be back with friends to share abottle soon
