Pump Track: what do users think?

Ignasi Mas: Pros: a complete pump track for beginners and intermediate. Folks respect everyone's level, so all can have fun. Plenty of street parking.Cons: could not find a fointain and not a lot of shade if you are just watching!

Suresh Pandya: This place was once very alive and active with enthusiastic cycle riders . After Toyata Co. moved to Austin the place is now less frequented but still many riders use it . Still it provides good opportunity for outdoor adventure .

Dr. Vivek Annachhatre: Nice place to visit.

Ralph G: Ask me how I know... Really helps with mountain Biking skills

Bowen Payson: Great little pump track that checks the boxes for basics for kids and beginners. My four year old loves it and can progress on his own as he's ready. It offers enough variety that he can choose the route that he is ready for. It is a bit worn and could use some maintenance, but also that's due to people using the pump track when it is wet, which breaks down the compacted dirt.

Martin Rehwald: This is an amazing place when open. They extended the closure to 'until further notice'. Some additional fences inside the area, no visible progress and current closures of public sports facilities like athletics fields do not give a lot of hope it will open up soonish.

Metcalf Motorcycle County Park: what do users think?

Steve Buchholz: The rangers and volunteers maintain this park to the highest standard! The location of the park is incredible, you get the natural hills nearby, with fantastic basket views, even the telescopes of Mount Hamilton at times. It is very easy to get in and riding. I've ridden past this park for years, hoping to have an opportunity to enjoy the trails ... and now I have!

Duy Nguyễn: When I passed by it was closed so I didn't know

mike norton: Trails were a blast

Maksim Semizhon: A lot of fun on motorcycle

Lu Wang: to ride. This turned out to be a good idea. My kids went from weariness to excitement. The rangers are very friendly and provided a lot of useful information.

Tim: Great little country park for motorcycles. It’s got something for everyone

Victor D: Amazing motorcycle park with super friendly rangers. Great for small kids. My son loved riding his PW50 there.

Chris Uhlik: Excellent place for beginners. Not sure about the more advanced runs.

ExplorerOffgrid: this place is a great place to ride your bike. impeccably groomed trails just hard enough to be fun but not overwhelmingly so great for the newest of riders to those with a little bit more sand in their boots.

Roberto Flores: Great place , staff is super nice

Steven Sanchez (Mrguitarman8000): Quiet when there are no motorcycles

Almaden Quicksilver County Park: what do users think?

Fatemeh Ramezani: Wonderful hiking trail for socializing and doing activity in the nature. Highly recommended.

Orly Liba: Awesome steep trails, great views of the bay and Mt. Um.No restrooms or water anywhere. Beware of poison oak and snakes.

J Bri: permanently closed to bikes - including the Senador Mine trail & Webb Canyon entrances

leslie landauer: This is an amazing county park in back of a neighborhood! Lots of parking and many trails to choose from. Lots of up hill but trails are well marked and in good condition. Good variety of vegetation and picnic tables along the route. Some sunny areas as well as shaded areas so bring sunscreen and lots of water.

Dude: In A Nutshell:-Almaden Quicksilver County Park is a nice gem, deep in the foothills of Silicon Valley.-This is Pat Tillman country too.-If you want a wide variety of paths to choose from, this place will fulfill your needs.-Not only do you get options, but you also get a varied scenery of rolling hills & foliage.-There are couple trees here where miners were hung.Overall, be wary of mountain lions as they do roam around since it's their home, not ours.

Rima Mehta: Dog-friendliness: Very suitable for dogs!

Todd Fitzwater: Great trail network. Very Hilly. Lots of up and down. Pretty views. Old mining spots. Old towns. Old cemetery. Pretty cool. Muddy in the rain.

Vesper Aeon: Was listening to AKFJC when I heard about this park, so I decided to go check it out. It is pretty damn big, and the hills are pretty Steve, so make sure you bring a canteen full of water.

Calero County Park: what do users think?

Paul: Test drove this boat 32 years ago on calero reservoir I finished our story with it last weekend gave it to my son now he's going to start his new adventure with it clearo reservoir is awesome place to go spend the day..

Mi Nu: Very nice, beautiful view 💖

Rob Garneau: . Best in the spring when the wildflowers are blooming. Hikes can be challenging with fairly steep climbs.

lynsey Hudson: Beautiful lake. The rangers are always there to help you out of you need it. Lots of wild life

Natalie D. Wang: Nice view around the reservoir and so fresh

Mas S: Beautiful county park. Little lake, rolling hills, cattle, mountain biking...many ways to enjoy the park.

Dipak Modi: Numerous accessible trails wind through this park, offering breathtaking views of the Calero reservoir. The trails can get muddy during rainfall. There are prime spots for birdwatching and picturesque views of the reservoir, along with a handful of scenic picnic spots near the ponds.

Anastasiia Balyberdina: .Before visiting make sure the trails are open - during our visit most of the trail close to the reservoir was closed. The rest of it was quite muddy due to the recent rains. The hill trails were fine though.Restrooms: There were porta pottys at the trail head, didn’t see any on the trails.

Yi Lin: , I discovered an exceptional trail system that truly wowed me. The breathtaking views and diverse options available are particularly striking in the spring, when the hills are awash with vibrant green hues and clouds drift lazily across the azure sky. Initially, my plan was to tackle a 10-mile loop, but when the final third of the trail was unexpectedly closed, I ended up diverting an additional 3 miles along the reservoir. This unplanned detour was far from disappointing—the views were spectacular. The verdant landscape was the highlight for me, enhanced by the trail's excellent maintenance. A word of caution for summer hikers: the hilltop sections can be quite exposed to the sun, so it's wise to carry plenty of water or start early in the day. Overall, this trail ranges from easy to moderate difficulty, depending on which paths you choose to combine. Springtime, in my experience, is the optimal season for exploration.

Donald Jenkins: First time there. Did not explore park, but still had great view of Mt. Hamilton.

Piyush Mittal: The playground is open again.. they put in a lot of new stuff for kids.Playground: Playground is huge with a variety of things to do for kids of all ages.

Emi Chen: Playground has two large structures but both for 3 years old and up. The little farm has peacock, turkey, pig and sheep etc. one issue we found is that there are Too few shades! The surface of slides gets too hot during the day.

Myriam Araujo Betanzos: A Great Ecological and Nice Place!

H.E.: and I enjoyed a sunny Saturday of happy families with children.

I'm Still Hangry: A nice park to spend with the familyPlayground: It big and nice 👌Restrooms: Nice and clean

Johnathan Alfaro: Awesome park with lots of field to run through and amazingly thought out and built playgrounds. Good amount of shade for those scared of the sun. They have a mini petting zoo type set up where you can feed animals. Only downside to this park is it is in the ghetto East Side but Hey Welcome to San Jose!

Adrian O: Kids love the new chicken playground

Daniel Davis: Emma Prusch Farm Park has recently built an INCREDIBLE playground with tons of options for kids. They also have a volunteer garden and animal farm with goats, pigs, rabbits, and peacocks. It’s a beautiful place to see. Highly worth multiple visits for families.

Malkiel Ben Israel: Playground: Playground is great besides the slides being made of metal. San Jose gets too hot for that.Restrooms: Plenty of restrooms.Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables.

Ana Zavala: Kept clean at all times and petting the animals is always a treat.

Doerr Park: what do users think?

Jerry Wang: Went to Doerr Park for the Pickleball courts. Doerr has 4 tennis courts. Two of them have layered lines for 6 Pickleball courts altogether. Pickleball players need to bring their own Pickleball nets. While I was there, all 6 Pickleball courts were occupied with friendly players. One of the tennis court had a 1:1 teaching lesson going on.Playground: There is a children playground about 50 feet away from the courts.

NF Robertson: Great park to walk dogs, play tennis or pickleball, picnic, bbq, or watch your kids have fun in the playground! There's also a community pool on the premises which is open only in summer months, but I think you need to be a member of the neighborhood and pay a fee for its use.

Morrison Blackwell - White: Park was nice and clean.

Jonny Lee: Great neighborhood park with playground for older and younger kids. Picnic tables and public bathrooms are available. There is a large green area to lay down as well. Small but has everything for afternoon playtime.

camilla C M Oliveira: Amazing place and great playground!!

Robert Rosenberg: Nice park with a couple of tennis courts with some having pickleball lines. Courts tend to be very busy.

Jing Lin: Great place for kid!

Joe Simons: Great playground

A flat loop of trail to be able to walk, jog and bike. Good for dogs and kids. Fees required but many other entrances if only for trail.

Lillian Chaudoin: Wonderful park, all volunteers were very helpful. A master gardener helped me carry all the plants I purchased to my car. All the volunteers were very knowledgable on all the plants. It was a wonderful day because of all the people working this event. I plan to go back next year.🌻

Lesley Hutchinson: Love this park. A lot of people got to walk the trails, but they also have a good amount of picnic tables and bbq pits.

miz bootsie: Great family park. If you are a biker/jogger that likes quiet, may not be for you. Most quiet before 4.

Aldo G: Wonderful park! Route 2 is 1.7 miles and there is body weight exercise machines available.PS:Bro I had no idea who this random girl was in my pictures. She kept following me without saying a word and would annoyingly photobomb. She was cutely mysterious and caught my attention I’ll give her that but honestly she was so weird and haunts my memory to this day. Word on the street is she’s the ghost to Cataldi Park 💭

Hung Nguyen: Nice park

Mayuri Wadkar: I like that it has three separate play areas.

Macrina Capito: Nice area for little kids

Stephanie LaBua: Great park. Gated and has bathrooms. Plenty of space for the kiddos to run around and have fun!

Robert: Great play structures and even a bit of shade for parents! FYI...parents camp out there to grab tables/area for parties. One dedicated father guarded an area at 6am!! So beforewarned! Also covered tables and great parking on weekends.Picnic area: Most covered and/or has decent tree coverage.

Any Renendo: There are always children playing ~ and there is always space in the parking lot because it is very large, but in Summer you have to be careful because teenagers are always bothering you in the parkPlayground: It has a special area for small children and is covered so that children do not get too hot.

Angela B: Besides the fact that the bathrooms were closed because it was a homeless man living in them, it was a really nice park. Very accommodating to all children of different capabilities

Pamela Kay Smith: Really great accessible playground for tiny tots up to big kids. safely fenced playground helps keep track of kids running in opposite directions. Lots of Places to sit sidewalks to all play areas;,stroller friendly.

C Mane: I tend to bring extra side toys because kids will always get bored or want to be entertained by something else for a bit. We always share the toys amongst the others. Kids will be kids, and they will be curious, so why not share the toys?! Plus it a perfect learning opportunity!! Bonus, if your kiddo loves trucks, busses, fire trucks, and everything in between- this park has those passing by all the time, so they will love it! 🤣 We come or try to go at least once or twice a week. Parking is all around, and there is even a parking lot.Playground: Has 2 playgrounds, one for littles/toddlers, and the other for older kids. The whole area is gated, so your child won't be able to escape to the streets. The little playground has its own gate to enter as well. There is a covering over part of the play area. There isn't any bark or sand. This place has the soft plastic material

carol carmona: Nice locationPlayground: EnclosedRestrooms: CleanDog-friendliness: Open field area if not being used great with Jr soccer game good place to play fetchPicnic area: Little for neighborhood park

Po Shin Huang: Multiple play structures for different age groups wig multiple seating areas.

Craig Verzosa: Nice park, no Monkey bars or any type of hanging bars tho

Sammi Rivera: There is so much to do at this park!

Christine Hong: The first playground I went to when I came to America. It's so satisfying to play so cute.

The trails are clearly marked, but they can get a bit muddy after rains. Benches are scattered around the scenic spots. The best time to visit is in April.
