Joseph D. Grant County Park: what do users think?

Orlando V. Perrotta: site where disgusting. They had not been change or emptied since April 2024 and it is now June. They where so full that waste was already almost to the top of the toilets. The permanent bathrooms away from our site were pretty decent and nice but, you would have to drive there if you really needed to go.

naga sar: Great for hiking but scary to drive up there.Playground: Lots of trails for hiking.Restrooms: Restrooms very clean 👌.Dog-friendliness: Yes dogs 🐕 welcome.Picnic area: Many picnic places.

Qingli Ma: Great place for hiking and camping! There is no T-Mobile signal, butt there is free WiFi at the entrance of the park.

devika apte: Weird elevation, had a bit of motion sickness

Becky Roberts: Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs and their owners and lots of space. The only not dog-friendly thing is the long grass/foxtails.

Benedict Pedro: Outstanding park for hiking, off-road biking, camping, and picnicking. Rangers have been friendly, and the trails are well marked and maintained.2024 update: The trail intersections now have numbers that correspond to what shows up on the map. Huge improvement!

L MG: One of the most beautiful parks in the Bay Area, excellent trails and great encounters with wild life. Especially now after the rains, all wildflowers are going to make the park even more special.

Matty B: Your first real good look at Mt. Hamilton. If you walk over to Quimby Road, you can get a really nice view.

Lois Truelove: Wonderful place for hiking and wildlife watching.Got to see deer and rabbit in the morning. All kinds of birds.Restrooms: They have showers that you don't have to feed quartersDog-friendliness: Keep on leash

Tyler Parris: Great hike I took on a Saturday morning! Beautiful views of Mt Hamilton & some gorgeous lakes with wildlife all around.

Calero County Park: what do users think?

Paul: Test drove this boat 32 years ago on calero reservoir I finished our story with it last weekend gave it to my son now he's going to start his new adventure with it clearo reservoir is awesome place to go spend the day..

Mi Nu: Very nice, beautiful view 💖

Rob Garneau: . Best in the spring when the wildflowers are blooming. Hikes can be challenging with fairly steep climbs.

lynsey Hudson: Beautiful lake. The rangers are always there to help you out of you need it. Lots of wild life

Natalie D. Wang: Nice view around the reservoir and so fresh

Mas S: Beautiful county park. Little lake, rolling hills, cattle, mountain biking...many ways to enjoy the park.

Dipak Modi: Numerous accessible trails wind through this park, offering breathtaking views of the Calero reservoir. The trails can get muddy during rainfall. There are prime spots for birdwatching and picturesque views of the reservoir, along with a handful of scenic picnic spots near the ponds.

Anastasiia Balyberdina: .Before visiting make sure the trails are open - during our visit most of the trail close to the reservoir was closed. The rest of it was quite muddy due to the recent rains. The hill trails were fine though.Restrooms: There were porta pottys at the trail head, didn’t see any on the trails.

Yi Lin: , I discovered an exceptional trail system that truly wowed me. The breathtaking views and diverse options available are particularly striking in the spring, when the hills are awash with vibrant green hues and clouds drift lazily across the azure sky. Initially, my plan was to tackle a 10-mile loop, but when the final third of the trail was unexpectedly closed, I ended up diverting an additional 3 miles along the reservoir. This unplanned detour was far from disappointing—the views were spectacular. The verdant landscape was the highlight for me, enhanced by the trail's excellent maintenance. A word of caution for summer hikers: the hilltop sections can be quite exposed to the sun, so it's wise to carry plenty of water or start early in the day. Overall, this trail ranges from easy to moderate difficulty, depending on which paths you choose to combine. Springtime, in my experience, is the optimal season for exploration.

Donald Jenkins: First time there. Did not explore park, but still had great view of Mt. Hamilton.

Florence Boyd: They will give you what your relaly need, and they will try to help.

D B: got my fishing license here

Mark Valdez: Best ever bait & tackle shop

Edward Hanly: The best place to get live bait and tackle to

Jenny Deng: I came here for real fish baits after shopping around a lot of sports shops without getting anything! I found what I need here! Awesome bait and tackle shop in coyote! Definite fishing trip’s must visit store!

Alexander Royal: Always great help at the counter for bait/tackle! Product selection top notch! Thanks as always!

steve tabuchi: Great selection. Great staff. They are friendly and will assist you for various fishing.

Paul Wyndham: Very helpful and had a large selection of tackle to choose from.

Paul “Paulinho” Cardoso: Micky and his team greeted us like family, arms wide open, setting the stage for a memorable experience. It had been about 14 years since I'd stepped away from my relentless work to enjoy the tranquility of fishing. As fate would have it, I bumped into my old mate Ronney, a fellow fishing enthusiast, who's been hosting fun-filled fishing trips and charters on the side.Once we hit the water together, it was as if no time had passed. Fishing proved to be the perfect antidote to stress I didn't even realize I'd been carrying. The beauty of it? You don't need to be an expert. A few basic items from Coyote Discount Bait & Tackle, and you're good to go.Don't worry if you're unsure about what gear to pick. The folks at Coyote are like personal guides. Just share what fish you're dreaming of catching and your budget, and they'll put together a customized kit just for you. This kind of personal attention and quality products, specifically tailored to your needs, is rare in bigger stores. I can't recommend Coyote enough. So, why not show some love for local business? I promise, you won't be let down.

Jake Lore: One of the last remaining tackle shops in the area! Worth the drive from any Southbay city. They usually have whatever you true anglers need, but call first and check before driving down!

DJ Skorpiuz: This here's one of my secret spots.

K L: Knowledgeable sales staff and a wide variety of fishing tackle!

Clay Calhoun: 5star

Alex Perez: Great local bait shop. Has absolutely everything you need. Went in having absolutely no gear except my own fishing pole. Blake was quick in asking if I needed any help and I explained to him that I just got into fishing and needed help getting some gear. Told him what kind of fishing I'd be doing and he knew exactly what to recommend. He got me set up with a tackle box with some hooks, weights, baits and lures, and line that he recommended was great for someone starting out. Thanks Blake!

Ron Hood: Great tackle shop, and all of the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable of the fishing around the area.
