becky s: Very metal 🤘🤘
Ed Corbari: Great place to relax
Justin Leong: Amazing spot to pass by on a bike!
Roger: Great outdoors and nice open space to jog or taking your furry friend for a walk. It’s a good place to get away from it all.
Rachel Ostrom: Amazing spot that is nestled right off of the busy 17 highway, but you barely even notice the highway while you’re there. A little difficult to find the parking lot, we mapped it but if you get off at the wrong exit on 17 you might have to go very out of the way to get where you want to go. Once there, it is a very peaceful spot. Lots of benches, shade, and the ponds are so beautiful. Very nice wildlife as well - lots of ducks, chipmunks, and lizards. Perfect place for a picnic, bike ride, or nature walk.Restrooms: Very clean restrooms.
Hanh Nguyen: Nice trail in the city.
Kenny Solorio: Really pretty ponds and trails in the middle of the city. Recommend visiting.
Byron: Very nice to experience on a winter day.
Dennis Holmes: Great place to just get away from the stresses of everyday life
Paul O'Brien: Good bird watching.
Paula Burkley-Ibonie: Found a perfect spot to sit and watch the full moon rise 🌕

kaliador18: Amazing!! Nature adapting to urban environments has never been so accessible! Kudos to the good, considerate people who thought of protect these birds. Literally smack dab in the middle of offices & parking lots, & you look up, & there are just so very many!! They’re up mind-bogglingly high in the sycamores, giant nests rocking in the wind like unlikely hammocks. Must visit, & must protect!
Karen Burkey: Lot of fun to see the active birds, great outing to take the kiddos. Can start or end at the cafe. Can walk the "thicket" path to make it more fun and less concrete. Lot of shade along the way.
Carole Dulong: Good place to watch egrets build their nests
Sam K: Pretty cool to see egret nest at Google campus.
Jaime Rodrigues (YouToue): YouTubePlayground: YouTubeYouToubeRestrooms: YouTubeDog-friendliness: YouTubePicnic area: YouTubeYouToube
Rob Litzke: Awesome, tons of egrets and herons, including babies. The road directly in front of the trees is closed April-October, which I assume is the nesting season. There's no actual park or anything, just some trees.

John Bronner: The Los Capitancillos Percolation Ponds are a wonderful place to view mother nature... There is an abundance of wildlife at the ponds and beautiful scenery to take in. There are several ponds that parallel Colman Ave and stretch from Almaden Blvd past Meridian Ave starting kitty corner from Almaden Lake. Great biking and walking opportunities at this location. Be sure and visit this beautiful location next time you are in the area...Winter is the best time to visit when the ponds are all full as they tend to empty by mid summer... Although for wildlife photography summer can be best for a wider variety of birds...There is usually some water in a few of the ponds year round...
Cindy Heazlit: A peaceful place to stroll. Very easy walking.Unfortunately, there are many selfish dog owners who let their dogs run around unleashed. They’ve harassed the wildlife on several occasions. Just an FYI, Jeffry Fontana Dog Park is only a few blocks away if you want to let your dog run off leash!
Tan minh Trinh: Lovely places i want to go again
McKellar Reed: yo this place lit fam
Robert Crum: Great place for the dogs..
Cheryl Meyer: Beautiful place to walk, very peaceful.

Tom Jacopi: This is very popular with mtn bikers, and some trail runners. The basic loop is 8mi with no significant sustained climbing so riders of most fitness levels can do it. It’s a wider single track trail which is a good width for beginning and intermediate bikers. The reason it’s not 5 stars is that it’s not pretty. Some ok views, but nothing special. If your a hiker, it’s not a bad loop, but be prepared for *lots* of bikes.
Michael Johnson: Visited on Public holiday Wait time No wait
Doris Chang: A lot of bikers and a lot of dust. Hikers remember wear a thin mask to avoid the dust.
Joan Marshall: Great mountain biking trails.

Paul: Test drove this boat 32 years ago on calero reservoir I finished our story with it last weekend gave it to my son now he's going to start his new adventure with it clearo reservoir is awesome place to go spend the day..
Mi Nu: Very nice, beautiful view 💖
Rob Garneau: . Best in the spring when the wildflowers are blooming. Hikes can be challenging with fairly steep climbs.
lynsey Hudson: Beautiful lake. The rangers are always there to help you out of you need it. Lots of wild life
Natalie D. Wang: Nice view around the reservoir and so fresh
Mas S: Beautiful county park. Little lake, rolling hills, cattle, mountain biking...many ways to enjoy the park.
Dipak Modi: Numerous accessible trails wind through this park, offering breathtaking views of the Calero reservoir. The trails can get muddy during rainfall. There are prime spots for birdwatching and picturesque views of the reservoir, along with a handful of scenic picnic spots near the ponds.
Anastasiia Balyberdina: .Before visiting make sure the trails are open - during our visit most of the trail close to the reservoir was closed. The rest of it was quite muddy due to the recent rains. The hill trails were fine though.Restrooms: There were porta pottys at the trail head, didn’t see any on the trails.
Yi Lin: , I discovered an exceptional trail system that truly wowed me. The breathtaking views and diverse options available are particularly striking in the spring, when the hills are awash with vibrant green hues and clouds drift lazily across the azure sky. Initially, my plan was to tackle a 10-mile loop, but when the final third of the trail was unexpectedly closed, I ended up diverting an additional 3 miles along the reservoir. This unplanned detour was far from disappointing—the views were spectacular. The verdant landscape was the highlight for me, enhanced by the trail's excellent maintenance. A word of caution for summer hikers: the hilltop sections can be quite exposed to the sun, so it's wise to carry plenty of water or start early in the day. Overall, this trail ranges from easy to moderate difficulty, depending on which paths you choose to combine. Springtime, in my experience, is the optimal season for exploration.
Donald Jenkins: First time there. Did not explore park, but still had great view of Mt. Hamilton.

Gregory Luckert: Ulistac is a little slice of heaven within northern Santa Clara Valley. There are nice easy trails and access to the levee trail along Guadalupe River. Don’t miss the native plant garden on southeast side. Beware parking along Lick Miill prohibited on days the stadium is in use.Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed on-leash
kailesh panchal: Lush green trail with lots of trees and birds. Perfect place to walk in the morning or in the evening.
Allen Ratzlaff: Only took a brief walk here because of weather. Very nice trails and good wetlands.
Dante Gutierrez: Beautiful natural reserve filled with awe-inspiring birds and protected wildlife. Come prepared to admire nature's beautiful songs.
Amy: I've been going to this open space for more than a dozen years and it's always welcoming , peaceful and restorative. I always see something new. This time I saw the eucalyptus trees flowering and noticed the California buckeye going to seed .. I would recommend it to anybody who just wants to get away for 30 minutes or so.
Alekya pyreddy: Beautiful slice of preserve in the middle of the city. You can spot a lot of birds on the big eucalyptus tree at the back—going about their business and chittering
Roelie Oelofse: Restrooms: Restrooms available across the road at Lick Mill park.
Puig: Ulistac Natural Area in Santa Clara impresses with its pristine natural beauty. The well-preserved habitat offers a peaceful retreat for nature enthusiasts. Diverse flora and fauna create a serene environment for walks and birdwatching. The park’s commitment to conservation is evident, making it a valuable urban oasis for those seeking a connection with nature.
