Ally Cheung: Wonderful experience working with Wendy and Liz for our catering needs. It was easy to schedule time and talk through our needs and explore budget requirements. There was never pressure about upselling, and they can provide options to have chefs and staff to come on site, or delivery with buffet equipment for a lower budget option which we opted for. And it only took 48 hours of lead time to finalize the contract. It was easy and painless to plan. And at the event, we ran into an issue with power shortage, causing delays with the setup, but Liz and Wendy were patient and took charge of finding a way to make it work. Over all everything worked out very well. Our guests had a wonderful experience picking and choosing their own dim sum out of the bamboo steamers buffet style. I enjoyed working with Wendy and Liz throughout the entire process!
Bless D.: Food was good. The ambiance was nice. Not too busy when we went so we found a parking spot right away. Customer service was also good.Parking: A lot of parking spaces around but it can be difficult to find a spot. There's a 4hour free parking and parking meters as well
Freda Weaver: The best in town. You HAVE to come here.

kalyani ram: I recently found this place and went here, food is so good, it's a small place I was lucky that we got a seat because I put myself on onwait when they opened but when I got out it was packed. Hell yeah! The dumplings are so bloody good, kid approved! Their shrimp fried rice was delish! Ambiance is pretty ok. Nothing good or bad. I'd not go here for amibiance but only for food.I loved the shumais and bar gows. Both were eout of the world.
D'Arcy Bertrand: Food: 5/5
Linda H.: Stopped by for a quick bite as part of our drive North to Healdsburg. There was a line at the door but it went quickly. I actually had to decide what I wanted to order on the fly because I got to the front of the line too quickly. We ordered shrimp dumplings, shrimp and chive dumplings, sui mai, turnip cake, and dried shrimp rice noodles. I would get the dumplings and sui mah again. I was mixed in the turnip cake. The dried shrimp rice noodles were ok....the spread of onion and dried shrimp was a little uneven, so there were bites that were just rice noodle. It was also a bit too dense for me. Very reasonable pricing though. We got a box full of food for $19.90. Cash only. There are a few tables inside where you can sit down to eat after ordering your food at the counter. There's also a bathroom available.

K L: Great restaurant for fresh handmade dumplings. They do lots of takeout business, but the dumplings taste best when they are freshly cooked, especially the soup dumplings, which you have to get at any restaurant specializing in Shanghai-style dumplings. Limited parking, but the Muni bus goes right by here and it is a short walk from the Glen Park BART station.Parking: Very limited street parking.

Katrina Balga: but service was not great. It was just one guy serving and one guy cooking. It took forever to get my check. My tea came last. Etc. etc. 4 stars because it was genuinely good, just a bit understaffed.I got the pork dumplings

Daniel R: The Dumpling House is a great restaurant to eat dumplings. I have visited many times and always love to eat there.Sometimes it gets busy, but the service is usually fast.Personally, I do not like that they do not have printed menus and you can only order on your phone.Highly recommended.

Patrick Tuite: The food is exceptional. I’ve tried nyc chinese, florida, washington DC etc and this place was really good. The sesame chicken and pork dumplings stood out the most. We also tried the cucumber salad and that was something different but really good. I would definitely recommend giving this a shot for lunch or dinner. If I ever visit again this place will definitely get a 2nd visit from me.

G K: were well made and flavorful, and we appreciate the cutting before serving. Not the best dim sum we've ever had but a very solid choice. The atmosphere was also nice.
Liam Batanides: Great food and great atmosphere! Reasonably priced given the value and an exciting dining experience. I was a little disappointed at the lack of a desert cart, but will try again next time!Parking: Parking is validated within the restaurant
T C: Yank Sink offers a nice variety of dim sum, both steamed and fried, that's sure to please dim sum enthusiasts. Conveniently located inside the mall, its dining area extends into the mall itself, creating a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The service at Yank Sink is efficient, with dim sum carts making rounds for patrons to choose from. Additionally, they offer the option to order some items via QR code, adding a modern touch to the dining experience. One of the best parts about Yank Sink is its reasonable prices. For just $70, two people can enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.In summary, Yank Sink is a solid choice for dim sum lovers looking for a tasty and affordable dining experience in a relaxed setting.
shige yagi: Went to Rincon Center store where lots of stores used to be around. Now they are gone except Yank Sing so it is very quiet.Other than that, they still offer the same high quality food at bit high but still reasonable price.Parking: don't forget their validation or it will cost you $20weekdays they have Valet Service.Underground parking lot is very tight and edges are high up to your door requiring good driving skills or you make some dents on your car.

Steve Fitzner: Amazing place - the dumplings were amazing and best soup I have ever had!!! Will be my go to the next time I am near SSF!
Ana Gabriela Hernandez-McKig: Tiny little hole-in-the-wall, but everything is great.Vegetarian options: If you mention you’re vegetarian or vegan to the person, they’re very good about steering you in the right direction and/or modifying items to take out the meat.
Weijie Wu: Great food. Always take away for me. Difficult to find a parking lot nearby.Food: 5/5 …
kris: Very simple little place tucked into a little side street off of Grand Ave. Decided to check it out after seeing good reviews—we got pan fried soup dumplings, beef pancake, garlic string beans and chicken chow mein. Owner surprised us with fried sesame balls filled with either a bean paste or black sesame seed paste—absolutely delicious. My favorite dish was the beef pancake—the Chinese black vinegar on the table was an amazing addition to its flavor! Everything was delicious and my leftovers were happily devoured at work the next day. Other reviews refer to this place as a hidden gem and they are absolutely correct. Will be ordering from here and dining in again soon.

Rong Mao: We had a Sunday dim sum brunch here. They take reservations online for a party of up to 6 people and over the phone as well. When we showed up, we were seated immediately. The interior decor was tasteful and soon the restaurant was full. There were no dim sum carts being pushed around. Everything needs to be ordered on the menu with a pencil. The dim sum items were generally all very good. The BBQ buns, soup dumplings, spinach dumplings, rice crepes stuffed with shrimp or beef, spring rolls, eggplants stuffed with shrimp paste, etc were all delicious, even better with their mildly spicy chili sauce. The Peking duck took a while to serve and the waiter explained it was made to order. The duck was very juicy but the only caveat is that the duck meat still had bones, which was not how authentic Peking duck is served. The price is on the higher end for dim sum foods, but the restaurant website said they use higher quality ingredients.Parking: Metered parking on street or free street parking in the neighborhoodKid-friendliness: Good place for the entire family including kids
Jeremy G.: Dragon Beaux is the reason I moved to the Bay Area. In 2016, I was here to attend a conference and then became a regular customer. I moved to San Francisco and always choose Dragon Beaux as my go-to place. The prices recently went up but are still in an acceptable range. The food is very authentic and creative.I'd recommend their beef with cumin. It has a fantastic flavor and is very creative.Highlights***Authentic and creative Chinese cuisine* Reasonable prices despite recent increases***Must-try dish: Beef with CuminIf you're looking for a delightful Chinese dining experience in the Bay Area, Dragon Beaux is a top choice. The restaurant's ability to combine traditional flavors with innovative twists keeps me coming back for more. Whether you're a local or just visiting, make sure to add Dragon Beaux to your list of must-visit restaurants in San Francisco.

Trang Nguyen: - pork and shrimp shumai was really good- ham sui gok was ok. It was a bit soft, not keeping the crunchy texture- mango pudding was ok, not too sweet but a bit more chewy than I like
Jenn Z: No seating just take outs. Good and reasonably priced dim sum.
Jesse Lee: Want fast and cheap dim sum take away? This is the spot. It’s not we’ll know like the other famous place. But you know this is legit because all those waiting in line are local Chinese and not non-Chinese, hipsters or foodies 🤣This is the better real deal for those in the know. Check out the people in line and decide for yourself.
Jeff Ho: Xiao Long Bao is a take-out only dim sum restaurant. No indoor dining. We stand on the sidewalk and eat in front of the restaurant anyways, so no biggie. The other two dim sum take-out restaurants on Clement are more busy. So, if you are in a hurry, go here. The other two places are better, but not worth me waiting another 15 minutes. Our favorite items here are the fried crab meat dim sum and their crispy shrimp egg rolls. Both are filled to the brim. The beef pancakes are good if they are fresh. We came at noon-ish and the pancake wasn't crispy anymore. Regardless, I do recommend this establishment to our community.
N T: So freaking goooooooood!

Alis Derus: Bedt food EVER THE SPICY STEAMED DUMPLINGSAre best they ste Pork Xiao Long Bao & Numb and Spicy! you really should irder these ! They are like soup wrapped in a dimpliing Everything ive tried I’ve liked the chicken wings are truly spectacular!i am on a verybtight budget and find myself going twice a month DO NOT GO WNEN YOU ARECSTARVING YOU COULD EASILY DPEND 50 a person When I go, I usually just order the potstickers appetizer and one order of the numb and dpicy steamed dumplings andvthstbis enough for me! I order the 8 pack of dumplings and usually end up taking one or two hone fior dinner Thats is usually around 48 not including tip. Worth eery penny I like this drive specialty too special of the day
Randa Seif: Very long wait! We arrived at 6:45pm on a Sunday - We waited 1hr 5min for a party of 3. Service is going as quick as they possibly can!Food is good. My favorites: the Juicy Beef Bao - the Crab and Pork xiao long bao - Dry Shrimp egg chives pocket. We will definitely go back!
Jenny Xu: Came here with friends on a Monday evening - we did have to wait almost 45 minutes to get seated for a group of 5.Good:- The food all came out so quickly! The pork buns were amazing, I had 3 of them.- I liked the normal pork XLB, but the numbing one wasn't too spicy and it was really good, lots of soup on the inside- Prices weren't bad if you shared with everyoneBad:- The wait time was a bit too long, I'd want to wait less and not wait if it would have been as long as it was this time- The veggie dumplings didn't have much flavor.Overall was a solid food choice and I was happy with the quality of the food and speed of food once we were seated.
Amirali Sharifzad: This a dumpling home, not a dumpling house. Very tasty, very wholesome. Definitely request chilli oil. Expect to pay close to $50 per hungry person, but honestly worth it.We sat outside and it was a bit cold, but food warmed us up nicely.
Yuchen L: Very good dumplings and XLBs but it's really not worth the prices. It's similar to a good dumpling place in inner Richmond or sunset but it's slightly more upscale. There was a wait when we got there around 630pm on Wednesday.
Calvin Wang: Really solid 生煎包, reminding me of my time in China. The broth inside was rich and fragrant, although the bun itself could have been a little crispier. The soup dumplings were also delicious, containing an equally delicious broth within.Nothing on the menu was spicy, even the numbing spice soup dumpling, which had a very light hint of spice.Good for those with poor spice tolerance, but for those that enjoy some heat, you'll have to look elsewhere.

Forest Huggins: Recommended dishes Cumin Lamb, Twice Cooked Pork
Robert Wu: , fish with chiles and Sichuan pepper. My favorite dish was actually the caramelized tofu as that homemade sauce was unique. The numbing fish is a specialty and while I enjoyed it, I thought it was a bit “too crispy”. The Sichuan fish was decent but isn’t the best I’ve had in the area. It’s a little light on the fish. Portions are good so it justifies the cost. Service is standard, nothing missing but nothing above and beyond.I’d come again but wouldn’t say it’s one of my favorites.
Christopher Chung: Decent Chinese a few blocks from the Castro main drag. Assortment of dim sum and Chinese American standards. For the slightly more adventurous, the Ants Climbing Trees bean thread noodles are tossed in spicy sauce with ground pork, mushrooms and dried red chilis. If seeking flavors truly regional, this may fall short as the menu seems more attune to an Americanized palette. Pricing not cheap neither.
Max Khusid: I came in for lunch and ordered the spicy Cumin lamb dish. I really liked it. All the veggies weren't over-fried, nice and crunchy, yet there was plenty of spicy chilly oil and good pieces of lamb. Often, this dish is served with just onions and lamb, but they have tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, lamb, and other veggies. Then, I forgot my credit card :( After struggling with Apple Pay, we finally figured out a solution. Very accommodating and super nice service. TheCastro can be hit-and-miss when it comes to food. MaMa Ji's is definitely a hit!

Ken Roberts: I know it’s called Dumpling Specialist but I will be going back for that Shanghai Chow Mien. Oh my gosh…it was so damn good.Potstickers and soup dumplings were good too. They are not afraid to leave their potstickers in the pan. Nice contrast to the fried side vs the steamed side. The garlic vegetables were ok but not great.Definitely will go back. Also:no beer or wine.Parking: There is quite a bit of road construction so that’s made neighborhood parking a challenge. We walked a block or two but nothing too bad.
Robbie Z: , credit card has extra charge
Claire: the beef are overcooked and it tastes strange. I mainly love the broth and the veggies in the dish.Peanut noodles: never fails.Rice rolls - perfect!! Especially the vegetarians ones!! It’s very authentic Chinese. All of the dumpling dishes are amazing
Eli: dumpling specialist is absolutely remarkable. amazing dumpling skins, heavily filled bao, and spot on seasoning, paired with friendly and speedy service makes for the perfect little spot. it's a small and intimate not-too-formal setting on taraval next to a park, if one might prefer takeout. there's an extra charge for card, but they take venmo.
Muriel Mendoza: Intimate dumpling spot with standout steamed pork and cabbage dumplings and pan-fried delights. Skip the har gao and focus on the dumplings – noodles and rice are secondary here.
Kay T: Small restaurant, only 6 tables. The wait time is about 30 minutes to 60 minutes.Worth the wait and foods really taste good.Orders come pretty fast.Definitely would eat again
Corina Lange: This place offers a wide variety of dumplings, including rarer finds like fantuan, and other hot dishes at affordable prices in a conveniently located area of Sunset. The interior is small with only a few tables, but it's a cozy spot to enjoy a meal or pop in for takeout. They accept credit card but charge a 4% fee for dine-in, which is understandable. I'm really happy I found this spot and will probably return often.
Jerry: - Pan fried pork bun- Steamed pork/cabbage dumpling- Siu mai- Spring roll5/5 - These were all so so good. Spot on flavor, texture, juiciness.- Wonton in chili oil4/5 - Good but not my desired level of spice and flavor.
