Sandra Lomeli: Cute little spot. Staff were very sweet and welcoming. Service was very fast. Food came out rather quickly. We ordered wonton soup, orange chicken and egg fried rice. The orange chicken had orange peel on the plate and had a soft crunch. The glaze was perfect. Not thick, chewy or overpowering like some places. Rice was 👌. Wonton soup was tasty. Perfectly flavored. Everything tasted freshly made and not generic, old or warmed up. Authentic place. You will not be disappointed.

Justin Wetzel: Final day of our vacation and wanted something simple and filling for lunch, so what better than Chinese food. Reviews looked good so we decided to stop in. We got the Kung Pao Chicken and the Hunan Crispy Dragon Beef lunch combo with egg fried rice. Both were absolutely delicious! Chicken was large pieces of white meat chicken breast, beef was indeed crispy and cooked well. Sweet yet a nice spice that builds up. Rice was really high quality as well, compared to other chinese takeout. Food was cooked fresh and ready within minutes as well. If I lived here I would be coming regularly. One of our favorite meals of the stay. Definitely come check it out. Seating inside is limited so might have to takeout.
S K: 5 stars for Chino Yang. Yes, you in this country do have these constitutional rights!

Christopher Chung: Chinese-American mainstay in Russian Hill serving wide array of wonton noodle soups, stir-fried noodle and rice dishes as well as classic a la carte entrees. Crispy salt and pepper shrimp, amazing. Family Dinner, generously portioned for just $15 a person. At the corner of Hyde Street cable car turnoff — a plus. A few pictures adorn the wall reminding of the long Chinese-American history of the neighborhood. A go-to when local and seeking the familiar.

Linda H.: Stopped by for a quick bite as part of our drive North to Healdsburg. There was a line at the door but it went quickly. I actually had to decide what I wanted to order on the fly because I got to the front of the line too quickly. We ordered shrimp dumplings, shrimp and chive dumplings, sui mai, turnip cake, and dried shrimp rice noodles. I would get the dumplings and sui mah again. I was mixed in the turnip cake. The dried shrimp rice noodles were ok....the spread of onion and dried shrimp was a little uneven, so there were bites that were just rice noodle. It was also a bit too dense for me. Very reasonable pricing though. We got a box full of food for $19.90. Cash only. There are a few tables inside where you can sit down to eat after ordering your food at the counter. There's also a bathroom available.

Mary Guardado: Recommended dishes Spicy Korean Chicken, Soup, Walnut Prawns
Nicholas Klein: A fantastic Chinese restaurant! Found them with a tip online about their amazing Korean Fried Chicken. YES they were correct it is a great dish, though it goes a bit away from traditional Korean Fried Chicken. It was SUPER crispy and great cuts of juicy chicken.Their noodle dish was also fantastic, I would gladly come back for both OR to try more from their expansive menu.

michelle arguelles: During Covid they had to let their servers go so the wait to get your food is long and slow. But the food is so good, I didn't care. My favorite Chinese restaurant on Clement Street.Update: the wait is a little shorter and they have been closing earlier than usual. Best to call in your order early and give them time.Update: They are retiring on February 21st, 2023.
Danice M: Best crispy noodles - tomato beef chow mein. Customer service amazing! Wait time fast.

Jacqueline Li: Impeck🦆able duck set
Jah Kay: For having one of the largest Chinatowns in the United States, it's surprising how hard it is to find good chicken and broccoli in San Francisco. Despite living closer to Chinatown, I consistently order my chicken and broccoli from YH Beijing on Haight Street. The glowing reviews caught my eye, and after trying their dish once, I’ve been hooked ever since. There’s too much risk in trying other places and being disappointed, but YH Beijing delivers perfection every time. This is my favorite Chinese-American dish, and it's perplexing why it’s not more prevalent in my immediate vicinity. Sometimes you find Chinese broccoli, but that's a different experience. For some reason, chicken and broccoli is harder to come by in Chinatown, or maybe I’m just not looking hard enough.YH Beijing’s chicken and broccoli has to be the best in the city. The portions could be a bit larger, so if you have the extra cash, consider ordering two servings, especially if you're sharing. The tender chicken, smothered in that classic brown sauce recognizable from Chinese restaurants, is simply divine. The generous amount of broccoli perfectly complements the dish. It always comes in a convenient take-out box, making it perfect for those cozy nights in.If you're a fan of chicken and broccoli, YH Beijing on Haight Street is the place to go. Highly recommended!
Valentina Kogan: The only downside is it's hard to find parking...Thank you very much to our waitress Jessica, wonderful presentation and service. 10+
Christopher Chung: Slightly elevated Chinese dining experience in tastefully decorated space that balances well between subdued elegance and playful kitsch.Spicy Mala Chow Fun, tasty, but noticeably lacking in Sichuan peppercorn. The level of numbingness was underwhelming to say the least.Price point on the high side, but portions large enough to share.

Trang Nguyen: and string beans were overcooked---The food was delicious with big portion. The service was quick and friendly.- beef with string beans in black bean sauce surpassed my expectations. Beef was really tender, green bean was crunchy.- mu shu pork was pretty good
Dharma M: Underground restaurant in Chinatown. This restaurant has been around for a while. To get in, you need to go down from street level. Inside is typical chinese restaurant. It has plenty of tables. Looks like mostly local eat here. The menu is overwhelming. Many to be chosen from. Price is reasonable. We order braised beef claypot, stir fry chinese cauliflower, and bedf chow fun. All came up quickly, and the portion is generous. The food tasted good. This place accepts credit cards. Will come back again.
Helen Yip: .Parking: Almost impossible to find parking during lunch time. We saw the parking enforcement coming around, so be careful!
Julie Cook: Lots of delicious food. Everyone was kind and helpful. Kids loved it as well.
Gabi J: The food is great, the service is quick. The room in the basement is rather sober and functionally furnished.

Trang Nguyen: - pork and shrimp shumai was really good- ham sui gok was ok. It was a bit soft, not keeping the crunchy texture- mango pudding was ok, not too sweet but a bit more chewy than I like
Jenn Z: No seating just take outs. Good and reasonably priced dim sum.
Jesse Lee: Want fast and cheap dim sum take away? This is the spot. It’s not we’ll know like the other famous place. But you know this is legit because all those waiting in line are local Chinese and not non-Chinese, hipsters or foodies 🤣This is the better real deal for those in the know. Check out the people in line and decide for yourself.
Mrs. MOD: Prepare to have your taste buds tantalized! Picture this: a lazy Sunday morning in San Francisco, and the aroma of freshly prepared brunch beckons you inside. My husband and I stumbled upon this hidden gem, and it was love at first bite! Despite just opening, the kitchen was already bustling with activity, churning out plate after plate of mouthwatering delights. We were lucky to snag a table without the usual crowds, and boy, did we feast! From the hearty beef noodle soup to an array of other delectable dishes, every bite was a flavor explosion. And the best part? It didn't break the bank! The portions were incredibly generous, leaving us happily stuffed and with plenty of leftovers to feast on later. As if the food wasn't enough to win us over, the service was top-notch – the cherry on top of an already perfect brunch experience. Consider this place officially added to our monthly brunch date rotation – because why not - the food is delish, service is great, the place is homey, and the price is light in our pockets.
A C Nayak: Important- Cash only, no cards accepted!Quite possibly the best tasting chinese and the best value for money at this place! We tried the eggplant, beans and hand pulled noodles. All were very well made. The steamed veggie dumplings and the salt and pepper tofu were ok, however we made them better with the help of additional condiments already on the table! The restaurant is quite small with a few tables, so book in advance just in case!
Sam Myers: House of Pancakes was one of the coziest & tastiest meals I’ve had in recent memory. The garlic green beans and the beef roll pancake were the most notable items for sure. So tasty!! The hand-pulled noodles were good as well, especially on a rainy day. The garlic green The food is what earned the five stars here. The service and ambiance were alright. I wouldn’t say either were notable. It took me a few tries to flag down a server to get water, but they were quick with the tea and with the food! Overall, I’d definitely come back here!Dietary restrictions: Everything I ordered was tree nut friendly!
K Brewer (KB): Lovely restaurant, I love their simple delicious noodles but, heads up, they are closed from March 5-april5

Alzila: Super authentic Chinese food, kind of reminds me of home. Owned by a lovely couple, the food never disappoints. A hidden gem in the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: Non-meat options availableParking: Parking throughout the areaWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair button for access
Toby Bruce: It's not about the ambiance. It's about chicken fried rice with salted fish, snow pea leaves in garlic sauce as well as bitter melon with beef in garlic and black bean sauce. Shrimp and vegetables with stir fried noodles is also very good. In five months of eating here I never had anything I didn't like. I think the same couple have been running it for 35+ years.
Natalie Woods: I had vegetable egg Foo young, fried rice, and saute spinach and garlic. It was very good with fresh veggies. 😚 it's one of my favorite Chinese restaurant. Love it.Recommended dishes …
Josh Carrion: Great food! It's a small place but everything is awsome. My family loves this place.
Steve Brown: Hands down best chinese food. My go to place whenever I'm nearby. I like vegetable fried rice and they chop up chunks of vegetables instead of the tiny diced pieces other places use. Real quality, fast and prices are fair. Best cook I've found. Gotta try it!
David Schanen (musicscene): While I was waiting for my first order ever, I met a woman who had been coming here since she was a child. She spoke fondly of the hot and sour soup, "..nobody else make it like they do!' So I added it to my order and it did not disappoint! I also tried the Mongolian lamb, Sichuan eggplant, garlic spinach, and general's chicken, all were fresh and delicious and made to order! I'll definitely be back!

Kitty Lam: Good BBQ meat everything everything good and tasty, I rather come here for my BBQ than to sf Chinatown. This restaurant has been very consistent with their food I again especially like all of them BBQ pork, roast duck, soy sauce chicken etc. Everything is good, can be long line sometimes esp during Chinese new year so long line out the door. Good business indeed 👏
