DYJ1948: Quiet and small but neat restaurant on Taravel Street with excellent service and great food. We had four people and went for the ayce which was $38 per person for 90 minutes. We had the vegetarian miso and the roast beef with mild spice. But the roast beef was still very spicy. With the ayce, we got free two oysters each which were fresh! For the meats. The American waygu was superb as was the ribeye and the chicken. The pork belly was disappointing but the lamb was delicious. The vegetables were substantial and very fresh. The service was excellent and the staff brought more meat anytime we requested it and cleared our used dishes constantly. The also refilled our soup frequently. We’ll be back!

Cindy Hanisko: This is an amazing experience. I was taken here as a birthday gift. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was a wonderful experience. All of the food was prepared with respect to the ingredients. They served a variety of choice meats and seafood and great quality of produce. It was a great privilege to find here. I recommend the AYCE. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer and eat more. I would definitely return.

M Wong: ; the higher price is for unlimited portions. The service was excellent in that the staff was very attentive! We got double helpings of their dessert! Both the ice cream and coconut milk with jelly were excellent. Desserts were included with the higher priced meal

Lily Peng: native, you gotta trust me when I say this is what true hot pot is like. The king oyster mushrooms are sliced thinly to perfection, the bean curb roll offerings are generous, they give you lots of the leafy part of napa cabbages, and when you need more item you simply wave down the waiters instead of writing it down on paper with your other orders. The best part? The unlimited free drinks and chicken feet!

Emilie Sark: Perfect for a large group. We were a group of 10 and made a reservation for 5:45 on a Thursday night. We had three bowls of soup. One spicy, one mild, and one half and half. We had thought the half and half was a mid point in spiciness but it was actually a pot with half spicy and half mild broth. Next time we’d just order three of the half n half.It was easiest for one person to do all of the ordering and we got a spread of meats, noodles, and veggies. We were happy with how quickly everything came out and the broth was quickly hot enough to start cooking. Make sure you order the sesame balls!A member of our group was in white and the staff brought out an apron to help them from staining their shirt. We all laughed when he told us his children don’t spill on themselves! The self serve drink fridge, variety of sauces, and self serve ice cream were all great. All you can eat and all you can drink for $45 each. We all left super full. One thing to note is they have moved locations so the photos in the red room are of the old space. Make sure you navigate to the new location!

Eugenia Gastenova: I like this place. It is like in China. They have good choices of food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Delicious vanilla ice cream.Recommended dishes West Lake Beef Soup …

Mary Rose Baker Catalan: Parking: Needed more parking

michelle arguelles: During Covid they had to let their servers go so the wait to get your food is long and slow. But the food is so good, I didn't care. My favorite Chinese restaurant on Clement Street.Update: the wait is a little shorter and they have been closing earlier than usual. Best to call in your order early and give them time.Update: They are retiring on February 21st, 2023.

Danice M: Best crispy noodles - tomato beef chow mein. Customer service amazing! Wait time fast.

R Joseph: Top shelf Peking Duck. Very affordable and high quality . This is a great local option in China town. Highly recommended!

Kimbel Welch: Everything was fresh and delicious. The Mongolian beef was tender and full of flavor. The onions were lightly grilled to perfection. The hot and sour soup was tangy and spicy, the shrimp being a nice touch. The Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce perfectly cooked and lightly crisp. I left very full and very satisfied.

Ron Cain: Please Support their efforts.

rus vold: Food was amazing. Easy to order and made fresh everytime. Portions are large too!

Kay Chapman: It was really good!

Second time here and we enjoyed eating here last time too!Vegetarian options: I really liked their garlic Chinese broccoli and garlic pea shoots.Parking: There is a parking lot across the street. There are also metered parking and possibly free parking at certain times or days.Kid-friendliness: It can be loud when it’s busy and i had no problems going there with kids.

Wei Liu: Dining at The Garden Restaurant in San Francisco is a very pleasant experience. The steamed grouper is fresh and delicious, the flossed green beans are rich in texture, and the honey bone is sweet and delicious. Thanks to the boss for the delicious soup, which added a lot of flavor to the entire dinner. The service is warm and thoughtful, and the environment is comfortable. Harry Liao: The food itself is pretty good and I'd say pretty authentic as a northern Chinese restaurant. The food is meant to be eaten dine in tho because the taste changes a lot after it sits in the delivery for a minute. The staff is overall friendly but the restaurant itself felt a bit like a warehouse. You essentially eat alone and for me it makes the vibes off and they got boxes everywhere on the service counter for some reason.

Ty Yip: good servicefood is goodParking: free parking lot is kind of small but there are many metered parkings

Em Bee: Best for take out. Good Chinese food especially their dumplings, Mu Shu, garlic eggplant. Large selection, quickly prepared.Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegetarian options and you can request certain meat dishes be make without meat.

Noe Martinez: Fast service, friendly, the food tastes very good, affordable prices

Melissa Chu: Delicious authentic Cantonese food! Came on a weekend with my family and everything was hot and fresh. Also, super reasonably priced. It's hard to find authentic family owned restaurants these days, so this was a real treat! We ordered salt and pepper spareribs, eggplant with minced pork and preserved vegetable, stir fried beef cubes, stir fried cauliflower and pork, and my favorite fried stuffed tofu. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner including takeout and catering, will definitely come back again!

Angad Bedi: Szechuan chicken

Fabs Guts: The restaurant is very busy, which, in addition to the Michellin recommendation, makes a good impression. The food was tasty, the service was quick. The service fee is debatable, we found it quite high…

Grace Tong: Despite having Michelin awards, the food was honestly just mediocre to me.Additionally, the wait line system was not explained clearly. When we first entered, they asked us to wait outside. After we came back in 30 minutes, they said we should write our name down and wait for another 30 minutes. So, we ended up waiting about an hour to get to a table, which we had to share with others. There is a mandatory 18% service charge along with a 4% SF Employee mandate, and they still asked for a tip. Just no, lol.

Victor Yates: Food was impeccable, the only thing that wasn't excitingly flavorful was the tea which was to be expected. The staff did a tremendous job of serving us amazing food. The actual service was a tad bit slow, however if you don't worry about that then I highly recommend this place. If I was in the area, I would immediately return. Whether you have kids or not, for AMAZING Chinese food this is the place to be.Dietary restrictions: Whatever your need, I'm sure they would be flexible per your request. If unsure, call before hand.Parking: It's downtown so I would park at the closest parking garage then mosey on over.Kid-friendliness: They did an excellent job of serving our children and we had a lot of them.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for entry and exit of restaurant.

Johnny Yip: Been here at least several times and no attitude yet. They try to be helpful. Your favorite things could sell out near the end of the day. They sell single serving rice pudding "cake" made with brown sugar. Not many places make this item.

Karlpeter Schroeder: unfortunately you cannot have food inhouse any moreYou can still buy tasty food at this Chinese butcher's shop

Jeff Ho: New Moon has more than just dim sum. They also have fried rice, chow mein by the pound and fried chicken. I like this restaurant because the food is decent and there isn't a long line like some other over-hyped dim sum restaurant on Stockton St. The Chinese donut, fried chicken and porridge tasted fine. Service was fast. Good job staff at New Moon.

Ketty Nakamura: The Turnip Cake had a good light savory flavor and it was soft enough. What I liked about the noodle roll is that the dried shrimp pieces were very small. It gives it a little crunch and flavor. They also gave special soy sauce packets for the noodle roll. It’s not like typical soy sauce. It’s a little sweeter. One of the packets they gave me was empty so I thought that was odd.Otherwise, the service is what you would expect at a typical fast food Chinese restaurant.

Brian Bond: .

May Yang: After trying several restaurants, this place became my husband's and my favorite place in Chinatown. They have lots of fresh dim sum options. Delicious and affordable. They take cash only. We loved everything we tried there.

SF Chinatown: Definitely my fave place for panfried CHIVE DUMPLINGS !

Wendel Tse: I got freshly fried chicken drumsticks at 7:45 in the morning! Very good with skin that's still crisp! There are so many hot deli options, chow mein, hot entrees, dim sum. And almost no lines if you can come in the early morning.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the fried chicken drumsticks, the chow mein and the assorted dim sum from the hot deli counter!

Ed Lew: This place has EXCELLENT take out dim sum.My favorites are the shrimp balls, chive and shrimp dumplings and the Chinese radish cakes. My favorite take out meal from the menu is the sauteed tofu cubes over rice. You can consider this a fast food place and the prices are very reasonable. They only accept cash and have plenty of it as your eyes will see many items to fill your gut, and put a smile on your face.Features: A mask is recommended to keep everyone safe. The staff are safety conscience.

Grant Cooke: Absolutely loved my experience at Harborview! This family-owned gem offers a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Frank, is incredibly friendly and shared some insightful stories about the challenges of running a small business. The beef brisket and turnip in a hot pot were super tasty—perfect comfort food. Don't miss out on the drinks and entertainment served by Piggie and Buddha at the bar. Highly recommend!

Brady Loo: . It's definitely worth a visit!Parking: There is a parking garage below the Embarcadero Plaza. The restaurant does validate parking up a certain time.Wheelchair accessibility: The plaza and restaurant are wheelchair accessible. The only thing is the lower parking level is only stair access if you happen to park one level below the parking garage. You will need to take the stairs up one level and then the elevator up to the plaza.

David Kagel: We sat inside this time and had a great dinner. The cocktails are great and very reasonably priced. The dim sum is great. Especially liked the pecking duck and shu mai. The steamed shrimp also great. String beans and pork were a treat too. Speaking of treats, loved the mango pudding and sticky rice. The service was great and the ambience is inside and outside perfect.

Trang Nguyen: Overall good food and fast serviceSalt and pepper crab was ok. Should have tried a more interesting flavor, such as Singapore styleTiger Shrimp tasted really good with firm texturePork and shrimp shumai was tastyBaked bbq pork bun was tiny but delicious, even as leftover.Rice roll and chowmain was okSesame ball w sweet purple potato was really tasty. It's smaller than elsewhere.Sesame ball w dard chocolate was ok, interesting flavorPortuguese custard tart was not too sweet but the crust wasn't good.

When we said no, he smiled, took our menus, and ordered for us: pork bao buns, steamed dumplings, crispy shrimp packets, BBQ ribs & zucchini spears. Shrimp, beef and Broccoli in a Dijon honey mustard sauce and table made sizzling shrimp and chicken fried rice. I would visit again!

Fabio Gambirazi: Very good buffet, plenty of options from salada to sushi, meats, etc. Very comfortable and spacious

Richard Lee: Best food by the pound place in the area. All different Asian style foods. If you guess the weight, your meal is free.

Valentina Castillo-Rice: The food is a bit overpriced, but I still recommend it.

Zander Maverick: I love this place. Grab a container; wander about and check out the option; fill up on what you want; you pay by weight. The checkout is amazingly quick. If you see it's crowded, don't worry. They are awesome at getting people in and out.
