Komaaj: what do users think?

Sunny T: Really cute place! Their menu is limited but good food and ambiance nevertheless

Razieh Khajehyar: It was my first time in Komaaj, and I’m sure I’ll be back there again and again as everything was perfect there. The restaurant was designed very nicely and completely in Persian style. My partner and I enjoyed food, atmosphere, the hospitality and cheerfulness of the owner. He explained the details about food and recipe very nicely and friendly. Then we picked two beers with a Persian name “Shams” which we enjoyed a lot. Finally our food was served. The most delicious smoked trout we had ever had and pomegranate chicken.I strongly suggest trying the food in there.

bahar behdad: with chicken. The combination of the rice, with the chicken and the sauce on top along with the salad topped with sliced carrots, pickles and cabbage was so amazingly good that every bite you would take it made an excitement to have the next bite… I would drive from to SF just to have one more bite of the food! Can’t recommend enough!

Christopher Chung: A beautiful showcase of northern Iranian cuisine — big on fresh herbs and vegetables, berries, and lemon juice. Hearty, yet healthy, Komaaj renders a wonderfully homey taste rarely found outside a mother’s kitchen.Cucumber salad, crisp, clean and nourishing. Naz Khatoun Dip, a big step up from baba ghanoush — topped with green herbs and barberries, served with crispy sangak bread.Sour chicken stew with rice — near heaven. A combination of gormeh sabzi and fesenjoon flavors, good mixed with good to make perfection. Smoked trout with rice, a nice salty accompaniment to cut through the sweet and tangy found in most dishes.Cucumber-vinegar-mint drink, thirst quenching and satisfying. Ayran yoghurt drink, perfect accompaniment.Currently, Komaaj tops the list of new restaurants in Bernal Heights/Mission. Outdoor seating, an added plus.Vegetarian options: Wide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes

Lily: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes

Liz Winters: Really great selection. Great salsas and pork tacos. Friendly service and convenient ordering by QR code. Agua Fresca was delicious, as were the margaritas.

august huber: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes

Baron Migs: Came here for the first time and it wasn’t to bad. The beans were delicious as well as the pico de Gallo. I was a big fan of the line they use in the green sauce for their chilaquiles. I must say though their margaritas were very underwhelming

Mark Dighton: Food is delicious and priced right. Service is quick and friendly. Interior is a little too fast casual, but I guess that's what this place is. Still, I think they could turn down the lights and it wouldn't seem so much like Mexican Panera, but a little adult and fancy.

Sharon Saunders: Delicious

Maikee Isidro: The aguas frescas here are delicious

Brenda's French Soul Food: what do users think?

Cynthia Colas: The service is superb and the place gives off a very southern soul vibe to it, but the food isn't quite flavoral. It's missing seasoning. I would recommend that the cook works on putting more season into the food.

UV: I need a deep dark roux in my gumbo. Brendas gumbo was more Filé powder based which didnt really do it for me.But I ABSOLUTELY loved the oysters. I dont even know if i EVER want to eat raw oysters again. That BBQ sauce one was BOMBHowever props on the beignets. You're about halfway there. You need the hole in the middle. But it is incredibly difficult unless there's one person dedicating themselves to the beignet dough. So I can't blame you for that.

Alexandria Ulve: were everything I wanted out of a New Orleans classic. We grabbed a few to take on the flight home. The oysters had good flavor but the texture was a 7/10. I would purchase them again but I’ve had better. The service was attentive even during busy brunch. The atmosphere makes me feel like I’m back in New Orleans. Other items we ate that were also phenomenal and worth the mention: garlic spinach, gumbo, and spicy seafood pasta.

Forrest Spellman: The crawdad beignets are to die for... and everything from appetizers to entrees is delicious. We were helped by a friendly waitress. She deserved every last dollar tipped!

Phil M: Anytime a friend comes to town I recommend going to this place because of all great options they have. I've tried most of the things they've had on the menu. Today it was the pork belly and grits and the beignet flight. My friend went with a more sweet option of bananas foster French toast and Ube beignet. We both ordered the molasses coffee as well, they gave us oat milk on the side for a great lactose free option. I shared my flight and we were both gladly stuffed at the end. There are so many things on the menu that make the choice difficult every time I go and the wait staff is always so great.

Wayne Earl: The food was soooo good!

Sotto Mare: what do users think?

Sayana: If you're a seafood lover in San Francisco, Sotto Mare is an absolute must-visit. This unassuming gem tucked away in North Beach delivers an unforgettable seafood experience that will leave your taste buds singing. The cioppino is simply the best I've ever had. The broth is rich and flavorful, brimming with a medley of fresh seafood – Dungeness crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, and fish – all cooked to perfection. Every spoonful is a symphony of flavors that will transport you straight to seafood heaven. But the culinary delights don't stop there. The Sanddab is also must-try, cooked to perfection, very light and delicious. Sotto Mare's oyster shooters are a revelation. The plump, briny oysters are perfectly complemented by the zesty cocktail sauce, creating a delightful explosion of taste that's both refreshing and invigorating. It's the perfect appetizer to kick off your seafood feast. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is lively and convivial.Must visit!

Newkirk's: what do users think?

M Pagan: and wow it was worth the wait…while the roll doesn’t quite hit like a NY roll it is very soft fluffy and flavorful. We tried the mortadella and the Bronx pastrami sandwich with their jalapeño sauce on the side. Do not forget the sauce its excellent. Overall this place is a must try breakfast spot that is very quick and absolutely has top tier taste

Eric Wooley: Food: 5/5

Rowan MacNiven: Yum

Paul Brand: Newkirk's is a 5-star for me. It's one of those great low-key sandwich shops that feeds the locals. The food is consistently terrific. My go-to is the Steak sandwich, but I've got backups I enjoy for when I want to mix things up. Their spicy sauces are awesome, so be sure to try them if you like that kinda thing. One of the best things about Newkirk's is the staff -- they are always friendly, helpful, and down to earth.

Justin W. Vang-Moore: Newkirk's is a staple for my lunches! The sandwiches are good enough that I crave them at times. The place is appropriately staffed and the person at the front counter is friendly, prompted, and helpful. The decor is basic, which looks like easy maintenance and low fuss, but you wouldn't come here for the ambiance. The lunch rush can be heavy between 12pm-1pm, so I'd get there a bit before/after or order ahead. I have loved the the buffalo chicken sandwich and the salami sandwich. And, if you need a little pick-me-up after lunch, the coffee is pretty good.

Delancey Street Restaurant: what do users think?

Kaitlyn Newman: Wow. Went here late in the evening after a long day. The service was amazing. The restaurant had a very high scale look so we were pleasantly surprised with the authenticity of the wait staff. Portions were bigger than I was expecting for the low price and the free bread was a wonderful treat. The cook on the steak was perfect. Only after did I learn that this facility is used for training members of the Delancey Street Foundation. What a special place.

Pamela Vong: Solid comfort food at very reasonable prices.

Lapisara Eatery: what do users think?

Fleming Bourgeois (Flemsworth): We had a great dinner at the restaurant. The server was incredible and very friendly. Although he was the only one servicing the whole restaurant, he never failed to deliver or respond. The restaurant is classic and the music is great. The food was outstanding! The chocolate truffles that came complimentary with the check were delicious.

Plow: what do users think?

Chris Chen: , and after sitting down and ordering waited 40 additional minutes to receive our food. We also saw others seated after us get their food first - not unusual, but just an additional point of frustration. For reference, we finished eating at 1:30 and we got in line at 11:30, spending only 2 minutes actually eating. It’s a shame because the food is actually quite good - but honestly, it’s not worth that much of a wait. When they do have time they are kind

Zazie: what do users think?

William Nugent: Read a review in the paper so we checked it out over the weekend. Getting there was a breeze on the light rail. The waitlist kiosk was easy enough and after lapping the open shops we waited about 30 minutes total. We sat in the back patio area. The wait staff were great, as was the food and drinks. It was refreshing to see true menu pricing with tip included and no add on fees. Definitely will return.

Yuri Moreno: 6 starts for this place! The food is amazing!!! Quality ingredients and very well prepared. Their Divorcee eggs Benedict's are out of this world.Just make sure you arrive early and are ok waiting, otherwise try to go on the off hours.Sitting in the front is first come first serve.

eight am: what do users think?

Robby Wilcox: Loved each item we ordered. My kids were fighting over sharing the 1pm crepes my son ordered. My daughter's parfait was tasty with server easily swapping a few fruit choices for her. The Avocado Toast three ways dish was superb and easily filled both my wife and I up.The 20% gratuity that was auto added to bill for my party of 4 was not mentioned by the server. That was my ONLY complaint.

Jenho Tiger: Superb restaurant, the dishes are generous and very good.Top notch welcome and service 👌It’s really cool to be here in SF and to have this type of restaurant that gives a taste of the holidaysKid-friendliness: Children's high chair

Michelle Kreeger: Eight AM for breakfast is the San Francisco year! Lol! They have the breakfast standards, which are good, especially the bacon. But... The crepes! Oh, the crepes! Gigantic creeps filled with yummy deliciousness of your coding! We love the Nutella and banana. Be warned! Servings are huge and come with a big bowl of fruit and a bowl of potatoes! Service is also excellent and friendly. Tables inside and out!Bon appetit!

Jane Natoli: Glad to see Cassava re-open this location as a wine bar in the neighborhood. A fun list of wines from Yuka and the rest of the crew, great snacks if you need a bite, and a welcome addition to that stretch of Balboa. I will definitely be back with friends to share abottle soon
