Yuri Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Hanoch Raviv: Went there yesterday to celebrate birthday. We focused mainly on the Sushi rolls which was viewed on the table menu under the glass. Service was great. What I miss is some Japanese music to provide authentic atmosphere.Parking: it is a mall so you can park almost everywhere

Linh Nhat Nguyen: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Roll

Rosalie: I’ve been coming here for years, this place has consistent quality, service and atmosphere. Miso soup is always delicious. I tried the Kelvinator role this time and it was delicious, very substantial role and great mix of salmon, eel, spicy tuna and crab, and jalapeño. Reduced one star mainly for price, roll was $20.25 on its own. That, plus the miso soup, put it more in the $30-35 range once you include tax and tip.

alynda her: My husband and I ordered the Yuri special plate for two and added a fire crunch roll just in case if it wasn't enough for two people. When the food came out it was more than enough, we ended up taking some leftovers home. I recommend trying the Yuri plate for two if it's your first time and just want to try an assortment of food. However, the rolls were the highlight of our meal and we're definitely going back to try out the other rolls. A little pricey, but the generous portions do make up for it.

Duong Truong: We ordered the sashimi platter, the fried vegetables for appetizer and the rocknroll roll sushi for dinner. Everything was so fresh and delicious. For the sashimi platter, we asked to only have the tuna and the salmon. Both were good. However, the salmon was like butter, yum.The dinner also came with the salad and miso soup. Both dishes were worth mentioning as well. The salad dressing was perfect and the miso soup was perfectly cooked.Highly recommended!

Kennedy F: So good! Friends wanted sushi tonight. I’m not a huge sushi fan so we found this restaurant had a nice selection of options on the menu even for non sushi lovers so we thought it would be great. Worked out perfectly, I had the kuma ramen and I was delicious. It had ribs with miso ramen, you could also opt for spicy miso ramen. Which another friend had. The portion was quite large and definitely worth the $21 I paid. I can’t wait to come back it was so good. Service was nice and quick and they also had a Santa walking around the restaurant greeting tables 👍🏻

Jacquelin Gutierrez: Their menu has definitely changed over the years, not complaining lol just happy to see them grow. I've been coming here since they were at Oakridge mall and I followed them to Westgate mall. My daughter loves their sushi and their teriyaki chicken with rice. I personally love their new miso beef ramen, a little pricey but worth it, and their Westgate roll is a must try.

Rami Safar: Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians.Parking: Lots of parking including handicapped parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entry from the mall and outdoors as well.

Raffia Chen: The sashimi is great! !

Mohammad Mosaferi: Beautiful

Jerald: Best japanese restaurant I've been

L D: We really like this place. Been there with the family many times in last two years

Tim Vu: I love that they put wasabi underneath the fish on the nigiri. Seriously. That is a true sign of greatness and good things to come. Honestly not expensive either.Parking: Come early on weekends.

RICK LEE 3: Most restaurants located next to supermarkets tend to have good food. I give the food 9/10, it would have been a perfect score but the salad was old and still served. It was the brown old, and bitter salad that no one wants to eat. The dressing on the salad was so good gobbled it down.Parking: Parking is crazy on weekends and during mealtimes

Alexica Qian: Warm service and reasonable prices.

Sushi Maru: what do users think?

Charly Rhoades: , and they will create the sauce-dripping rolls that many want. But Sushi Maru remains a great balance of decent price, authenticity, and quick delivery at the bar with their conveyor. Down side? Wait staff can get overwhelmed, and hence unresponsive -- at least at lunchtime, when I typically go.Parking: Small free parking lot for businesses in the Miraido Village complex -- perhaps 10 slots. Metered street parking in front

junliang: Special chirashi is great. You can eat a variety of ingredients at one time. Each one is delicious. Only the eel has a slight flaw.It looks very rich and good-looking. The food is enough to fill you up.

Grace Lee: 2024 update: We often drop by when we have a craving for sushi. Absolutely adore the cozy, casual, homey vibe of this place. They provide booth seats, bar seats, and even regular table seats. Every visit leaves us feeling content, especially when starting with their hot tea followed by a delightful selection of freshly made sushi. You can grab directly from the conveyor belt or mark your choices on the menu. We happened to arrive late on a Sunday night, and not much was left. Huge thanks to the staff for the strawberry ice cream on the house! We felt valued and we sure will keep coming back for more.

Alyssa Siddiqui: I really liked how they ended the meal off with a spoon of ice cream which hit the spot.If you are sitting next to the sushi bar and wait til close to closing time, they combine sushi on plates and discount them also. They also do a stamp card and it’s pretty easy to get a discount for your next visit if you frequent the restaurant. They give a stamp for every $10.The location is on the edge of Japantown, conveniently close to the Manju shop and shaved ice shop.

James Wang: .After the lunch or dinner, have a casual walk at this lovely and cozy street of japan town.

Mark De Guzman: when your visit is during your Birth Month

Diana Chen: Great quality sushi! Super delicious food and friendly staff. We made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary and requested a booth and/or a nicer table and they accommodated us nicely by giving us an option of a booth but it was right in the front by the door or a half booth half table in a better location. Will definitely recommend and come back!

Laura Hamilton: Good food, maybe not the most traditional sushi, but still good. I wish they had futomaki or more vegetarian options. But my yellowtail roll and agedashi tofu were both excellent. The service was very good too, everyone was friendly and efficient. The ambience is like a cold diner. I don't mean it was actually cold but the lighting is harsh, silver can lights overhead, the seating is very open, the tables are plain. A few little touches to make it more cozy and appealing would be nice. Maybe just warm up the lights and switch to 2500K?

Mike Caplan: Good stuff. Done ate it all. Fish. Just keep swimming! Soup, salad, sushi. Just like home. If I lived in Japan. Which I don't. And this is Campbell. I miss sushi boats. The ones in a little river in front of you. What happened to those?Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right in.

Tomi Sushi & Seafood Buffet: what do users think?

Eddie B: A large dining facility with ergonomic food arrangements for efficient buffet style to get around was nice. I had room to maneuver the plate full of seafood. The quality of seafood was delightfully tasty. A selection of crab, prawns, clams and fish even I would pleasantly say was satisfying. The sushi bar had quite a variety of sashimi , veggie, and Cali roles. Well done coming here for a b'day event. As always, keep exploring foods and report it.Updated 2024 a good place to go considering a buffet place. Haven’t been since a few years but okay. The seafood is quite good. The sushi is okay, but let’s just say decent. As always, post wherever Mother’s Day takes you.

Ngan Nguyen: We ate here for Friday lunch and selected the premium option. The nigiri was really good, decent amount of fish and less rice than sushi. We mostly order nigiri. We got some side dishes but nothing stood out. Since we paid the dinner price, we were able to order items that were only available at dinner. I think it's worth it if you can eat a lot.Service was good as well.

scott mcmillen: Food: 5/5

Joey Trujillo: The food is amazing! Probably my favorite place to get sushi since it's always fresh and the AYCE menu is pretty big and keeps growing. The service is very quick and they bring your orders out pretty quickly. Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone!Parking: Parking lot behind restaurant

Sushi Arashi: what do users think?

L G: We got bentos to-go. The bentos come with 4 pcs California roll, miso soup, salad, and rice. I had a 2 entree bento with chicken teriyaki and gyoza. I took the photo right after opening my container. The California roll was small and looked messy but tasted ok. The gyoza were still crispy and my favorite. The portion of chicken teriyaki was also smaller than I expected, but at least the meat was tender. Everything tasted as it should. The staff was nice and our order came out fast. All in all, Sushi Arashi is just ok. In the future I would consider other options first.

Eric Lopez: Sushi Arashi was very good in my opinion. The sushi quality was fresh and we'll portioned. The staff was polite and respectful. I highly recommend this awesome sushi spot

Katy F: Good sushi. Reasonable. My only recommendation: leave the mops /brooms in a closet or janitorial areas, away from where people eat /tables .- I could smell the cleaning chemicals.. not good to smell when eating.A little cleaner would be nice and No clutter.Aim to be more “Japanese” with the atmosphere / ie feng shui

Denny Garrett: Sushi is very good a little priced for the food quality they serve they need to hired more waiters when I been there there is only one and I feel bad to many tables for one person but food taste is great Súper recommend to go there just be patience since service is slow so don’t go to hungryKid-friendliness: My daughter love their salmon lover they always ask for 2 rolls each one and never disappointed with the flavor

amí: I remember when I was here. I forgot to leave a review . I visited on a Wednesday, 5:31pm.I remember when I came here in tears one day, and somehow the food was very comforting, my tears slowly dried away. I had a chicken katsu. I like the dessert and california roll, too; it was what my father ordered. Not too bad for the price. It isn't the best sushi place in the world, but I don't really care. It's got a place in my heart. I like coming here.

Sarah: We love sushi and recently moved. We were looking for a place close to home and just so happened to stop by here.Great food, friendly and funny staff. I have a VERY strong willed little one and they had no problem accepting him and his many personalities, which has always been difficult for others to accept 😂 Made it easier for us to enjoy dinner as parents to an over-achieving baby.

Alex Vaos: Fantastic sushiFood: 5/5Recommended dishes California Roll and Dragon Roll …

Patricia Sasscer: Great sushi and staff

Truyen Vu: Cozy little restaurant with good parking. We went there on a Monday evening and was plenty of parking available. The food was decent and prices reasonable. The Atmosphere was cozy.Parking: Plenty of parking

Okayama Sushi: what do users think?

Gerald Quek: It was a Mother’s Day weekend when I visited. Only 1 sushi place with high rating. They are a belt driven style sushi place, with some a la cart things you can order from the menu. The fish is very warm, not sure if this is Cali style but not a fan of warm fish… would’ve taste more fresh if the fish is kept in a cooler / fridge and make it by order… maybe they’re just wicked busy… go back anytime soon? Maybe yes, maybe no… but menu does looks the best compared to all other sushi restaurant around the block.

Judy Margaret Chen: Vegetarian options: I did see a couple of dishes for vegetarian.Parking: Restaurant’s own parking lotKid-friendliness: Kid’s high chairs and plastic utensilsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance and tables

Jonathan Chandler: Arrived around 4pm and it wasn't too busy but it took about 5 minutes to get seated.Despite that the food came out quick and everything was excellent.I ordered the spider man and C-3PO along with Gyoza and miso soup.

Andrew Yates: Great place. Miso soup and the lettuce salad were a bit unimpressive, but the Beto box was great! Nice environment and tasty, generously portioned food.

Reda Shaikh: my favorite place for sushi, they did reduce the size of the fish cuts but i guess thats inflation

Jisoo Kim: Food: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot

G Lee: I’m a huge fan of Cha Cha. They’ve changed hands a few times over the past 12 years, I think. The food used to be stupendous but it is still pretty good. Unfortunately they seemed to have raised their prices this last visit.Had the Cha Cha Salad which was surprisingly good. Think if larger chunks of fish sort of like salad poke.Dragon roll never disappoints.Hamachi Kama because we also like something cooked from time to time.Update March 2023: Best sushi in the area IMO. Seriously. Rolls are amazing. Sashimi and nigiri have large pieces of fish of great quality, miso is tastier than most. They are super busy for dinner most of the time. Great menu. Lots of parking. Love it here.Update May 2024: Not as good as it used to be. The Chirashu was good overall but the tuna didn't seem quite as fresh. And the edamame was more bland and less salty than before. The specialty rolls are still amazing but the regular ones have lost something. I think the sushi rice is not as good now.

Apryl Chiem: I've been eating here for probably almost 10 or so years. The quality has went down over the years but it's still my go to spot for sushi. Their portions are bigger than other places. I always get anything with unagi sauce and salmon. My usual is Golden Gate which has salmon, eel, and friend tempura shrimp. They have limited seating so I recommend coming early or ordering take out.

Maverick Sy: Went in on a Wednesday at 4:35pm. No wait time, and was immediately seated.Order arrived quickly at around 4:45pm.Food was excellent on top of arriving quickly. Ingredients uses appeared to be very good.Service was excellent, was asked for any specific needs throughout the dinner ans servers were upbeat and very helpful.Atmosphere was lovely, music wasn't overbearing and place was clean.Ordered:Lion King: baked california roll w/ salmon, spicy mayo, & unagi sauceAlaskan Crispy: deep fried w/ salmon, cream cheese, wasabi mayo & unagi sauceSuperman: soft shell crab w/ unagi, avocado, unagi sauce & spicy mayoWolf Tail: shrimp tempura, crab meat w/ salmon, unagi sauce & spicy mayoSoft Shell Crab, Bento Platter, Chicken Yakitori

Kevina Brown: Best sushi in San Jose! Wish the place was a bit bigger because it’s always busy, but I get that the owner likes things just the way they are. Bigger isn’t always better. My favorite sushi place since Kubota closed in Japantown. One thing I have to say is that you call and the phone just rings and rings. It’s literally like they turn the phone off, that’s not good.

Pat Wong: The steamer baskets are super! Also great nabe options, especially on stormy days. Service is friendly and fast. Dishes served in correct order. The agedashi is tasty. The staff checks often if anything else is wanted. The plain rice 🍚 is good! The combination meals are great!

Kevin Mentor: Best Japanese restaurant in the US! Definitely authentic.

J Valdez: Nice little establishment. Staff were on point. Hot tea was nice. I asked about ceramic instead of plastic for the tea. The staff did a good job for a arbitrary request. Does it matter? A little bit as far as temperatures. Now the fish. I ordered the Sashimi appetizer platter. It was very good. I can end the review on a high note there. I would recommend. The fish mix was nice, flavorful and buttery. This was my first time trying Sashimi and thank you for making it a good time.Okay, now the spicy tuna roll. I don't know why sometimes it's softer mix for the tuna but based on that and the portion size I am going to take a few points off.Speed of service was very good for having a sign in sheet.

Sida: Probably the best Japanese BBQ I had in the bay so far, although not inexpensive. The lighting is good for photography.Recommend the skewers, uni with jelly and egg rice. Fish liver is too dry and I don’t recommend it.

Andy Jan: Gaku is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. I have never had a bad meal here in the last ten years I’ve been going. My consistent favorites are the fried shrimp, spicy chicken wings, and the Gaku udon. A new item we tried out were the yuzu fried chicken skins and those were fantastic as well. All of the yakitori is great and much recommended.Gaku is perfect for date nights and for nights out with friends. Definitely come here for a consistently great dining experience.

Jaime Felix: My cousin from San Jose recommended this to me and I'm glad I tried it out because yakitori is one of my favorite foods. The flavors, vibes and dim lighting at Gaku Yakitori take me back a visit to Tokyo. I've been twice to Gaku in two weeks and can't wait to come back for more. For my first visit, they ran out of a lot of items, so it shows how popular they are and how loyal their customers are. During dinner, the place was packed and I could here people speaking Japanese, so I could tell it's an authentic spot.My favorites were the chicken thigh and wing skewers of course, but everything hit the spot. They nailed the flavors here-- good quality meats, sauces, and everything was grilled to perfection. The appetizers were also tasty. Everything tasted great with the draft Asahi and brown rice tea.I do recommend a mix of appetizers and skewers here. Japanese people eat tomatoes and edamame with beer, so I recommend those two. Shrimp karaage, gaku spicy wings, chicken wings, chicken thigh, bacon steak, meatballs, butabara, and king oyster mushroom are great. The desserts are also good. When I went there was a special dorayaki with red bean and whip cream that we had to try. The green tea creme brulee was another tasty way to finish dinner.

Jianyuan Chen (Jack): Great great taste, tender and juicy on every skewer we ordered. Pricey. The decor is pretty, authentic Japanese yakitori restaurant.Recommended dishes …

Melfina Viengsombat: It was very busy when we walked up and there was a line out the door. It was very lively and very tasty. The broths were cooked with care and had a good balance.Recommended dishes Spicy Miso Ramen, Gyoza …

Murali Manohar Pai: Spicy miso ramen was good and pork was juicy.A quiet place and self service.
