Grace Lee: 2024 update: We often drop by when we have a craving for sushi. Absolutely adore the cozy, casual, homey vibe of this place. They provide booth seats, bar seats, and even regular table seats. Every visit leaves us feeling content, especially when starting with their hot tea followed by a delightful selection of freshly made sushi. You can grab directly from the conveyor belt or mark your choices on the menu. We happened to arrive late on a Sunday night, and not much was left. Huge thanks to the staff for the strawberry ice cream on the house! We felt valued and we sure will keep coming back for more.

They also do a stamp card and it’s pretty easy to get a discount for your next visit if you frequent the restaurant. They give a stamp for every $10.The location is on the edge of Japantown, conveniently close to the Manju shop and shaved ice shop.

Diana Chen: Great quality sushi! Super delicious food and friendly staff. We made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary and requested a booth and/or a nicer table and they accommodated us nicely by giving us an option of a booth but it was right in the front by the door or a half booth half table in a better location. Will definitely recommend and come back!
Laura Hamilton: Good food, maybe not the most traditional sushi, but still good. I wish they had futomaki or more vegetarian options. But my yellowtail roll and agedashi tofu were both excellent. The service was very good too, everyone was friendly and efficient.The ambience is like a cold diner. I don't mean it was actually cold but the lighting is harsh, silver can lights overhead, the seating is very open, the tables are plain. A few little touches to make it more cozy and appealing would be nice. Maybe just warm up the lights and switch to 2500K?

Special rolls are around $17+ at various sushi restaurants. I can easily eat 2 rolls and some. We used to go to Kenzo quite a bit but their quality has gone downhill. So once I heard AYCE was back my wife and I made a visit. We came for dinner on a Friday. It wasn't busy, there was about 4 groups dining. I have been to many high end sushi restaurants. This did not look "high end" when we entered. But the energetic welcoming we got, the owners personality, and the amazing quality and taste of his sushi chef "Ant Man" sealed the deal for us to call this the best we've been to in the last 15 years in CA. We were even allowed to sample a newly released summer themed roll that had mango on it...Amazing! A must try place.

Mary Zipse: I found this restaurant because it's close to my home, and it's my favorite Japanese restaurant now. I don't think you could find a more friendly restaurant. There are literally hundreds of photos adorning the walls of customers celebrating their birthdays, and the staff will sing for you then.They have the best hamachi kama, it's so flavorful and juicy. Even though it's listed as an appetizer, it's so filling that I barely have enough room to add a couple of my favorite sushi choices. There's a small side/garnish of salad with it. Another great thing is that they are open all day long.

Kennedy F: So good! Friends wanted sushi tonight. I’m not a huge sushi fan so we found this restaurant had a nice selection of options on the menu even for non sushi lovers so we thought it would be great. Worked out perfectly, I had the kuma ramen and I was delicious. It had ribs with miso ramen, you could also opt for spicy miso ramen. Which another friend had. The portion was quite large and definitely worth the $21 I paid. I can’t wait to come back it was so good. Service was nice and quick and they also had a Santa walking around the restaurant greeting tables 👍🏻

I've been coming here since they were at Oakridge mall and I followed them to Westgate mall. My daughter loves their sushi and their teriyaki chicken with rice. I personally love their new miso beef ramen, a little pricey but worth it, and their Westgate roll is a must try.

They were stocking the grab n' go portion of their restaurant so I waited patiently and eagerly, for about 5 seconds lol. I grabbed their Rainbow Roll. It was topped with an assortment of soft and tender fresh fish , and filled generously with sweet and fresh avocado and crab filling. It went very well with a small dab of soy sauce. It was delicious and great quality too, on par with sushi I've had in Japan. I reccomend the sushi since that's all I've had the time to try. The men at the counter and working the food were kind and greeted me instantly. Thank you for the delicious meal!Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian udon, and sushi options. One sushi option I saw was an avocado and cucumber combo roll. YUMMYWheelchair accessibility: They have room for seating with a wheelchair, and plenty of room to access the restaurant and pay for your meal here as well.

L G: We got bentos to-go. The bentos come with 4 pcs California roll, miso soup, salad, and rice. I had a 2 entree bento with chicken teriyaki and gyoza. I took the photo right after opening my container. The California roll was small and looked messy but tasted ok. The gyoza were still crispy and my favorite. The portion of chicken teriyaki was also smaller than I expected, but at least the meat was tender. Everything tasted as it should. The staff was nice and our order came out fast. All in all, Sushi Arashi is just ok. In the future I would consider other options first.

Jeremy Levin: We went for dinner. I had a Dragon Roll, and others with me had a Shrimp Tempura Entree and a Bento Box with Beef Teriyaki / Stir Fried Vegetables. For dessert, we had the green tea ice cream and the mochi ice cream. My favorites from the evening were the sushi and the green tea ice cream. The portions were well-sized, the food was tasty, and the server was very kind.It was a great experience, and I would happily go again.
