Nam Ng: If you're looking for a close-to-authentic Phnom Penh noodle and pork, this place is it. I think the owner is Cambodian as well. The seasonings for a bowl of hu tiu is on point, not too sweet nor too salty. Keep your mouth salivating and yearning for another bite right away. Pork ribs are almost melt in your mouth. I usually submerge my shrimps and squids in the soup for a sweeter broth. Pork balls can be a hit-n-miss for me. Nothing worth to write home about. Service might not be up to US standards but you shouldn't care about service when the food is this great! At least, we don't mind bad service back in Southeast Asia. Truly a mom-n-pop vibe for Cambodian dishes.Parking: Can be crowded during the weekends. Your car might get scratches from other people. Don't mind the homeless man.

Raymond Le: and while it'll also come out pretty quickly despite how busy the restaurant is, the portion won't keep you full for too long

Liz Donut: , Mi Do Bien

Jeff Ho: or the Chinese donut on the menu. We were able to get it when we asked our waitress. The service was fine.

CV G (cveeg): Had not been here for a while but it is still just as good as I remember. Ordered pineapple fried rice, red curry basil fish and crispy beef. All of the dishes were serviced quickly. They were hot and flavorful. The wait staff were friendly and efficient.Vegetarian options: Many of the menu items can be prepared as vegetarian dishes.

Meghna Prasad: Came here for dinner with my friend. We got seated right away by a kind lady. The place was kind of empty which was good.Me and my friend decided to share a soup and an entre. We got the noodle soup and it was yummy but on the heavier side compared to Tom kha if you like that consistency. Additionally we also got the mixed veg with chicken dish and that was well sauted and nicely done.We didn’t get anything to drink but may be next time.Overall good experience and glad to have visited after hearing about this place so muchVegetarian options: They have options for making a lot of dishes to veg and remove meat optionsParking: Lots of parking spaceKid-friendliness: Kid friendly place

Finnian Burnett: Delightful meal and excellent service

Ria Isa: Chanced upon this hole in the wall kind of restaurant across from SJSU campus, craving for some good Thai food. We ordered Thai Iced Tea, Fried Chicken over Fried Rice, Vegetarian Egg Rolls and the Lamb Curry Speciality all for $59, including a $2 extra for using Amex credit card.Lots of piping hot food, well plated and served by a sweet hostess. If not for the inside run down decor, this restaurant is worth every penny. Like they say, don’t judge a book by it’s cover…food here tastes pretty awesome if you come in hungry!

James Washer: A small Thai take-away/restaurant near SJSU.The staff are very friendly and took my order quickly. I had Chicken Satay to start followed by the Beef Massaman set.The food was served in around 10/15 minutes whilst I had a beer at the table. The Satay was tasty, but a little dry/tough. The beef was similar, but the sauce was great. They served it with white sticky rice and Roti, which I found a little odd being an Indian bread - but they were cooked to perfection and the best part of the meal! Flaky and buttery, just like they should be!

Coy Tran: All the other popular restaurants in the plaza were really crowded so we decided on trying a new place and it was fantastic! This Hainan chicken is really tasty! Tried the chicken salad, chicken rice and chicken noodle soup and the amount of fried shallots on everything was amazing! Loved all the garlic in the fish sauce as well. Service was fine and the strong air conditioning was appreciated. Contactless payment is available. To go boxes are self serve.

Uyen Dang: Best cơm gà I have ever eaten in my life! They’re specialized in chicken so their chicken was ABOVE AMAZING. The chicken is super tender and flavorful, the rice is perfectly cooked, the soup is , and iced tea smells so good. Fish sauce and pickled cabbage is also perfect. It’s also very reasonably priced, only $16 for most of the dishes here. They give you plenty of everything! I’m so full and happy 💖

Antonio A: We were visiting from New Jersey and stumbled upon this eatery. The restaurant was clean, and the waiter was sweet and attentive. The food was hot and tasty, and the portion was satisfying. I tried the Thai iced tea, and it was refreshing. I had the basil stirfry with chicken and a side of rice, while my wife had the red noodle; they were both great choices. I met the owner, and he was friendly, accommodating, and grateful. Great experience; now that's what I'm talking about.

Ahmad Mumtaz: One of the best Thai places in Bay Area!! Great quality food!! And they also have a medium size selection of Sushi, which is ALSO really good, better than many Sushi spots.Dietary restrictions: They are very aware and accommodating of restrictions like food allergies like fish allergy, etc

Tee Nee Thai Cuisine: what do users think?

Whitney Litzsey: I'm not sure where to start. Immediately upon entering, we felt welcomed by Julie. The warmth from her never left! She was amazing with menu recommendations. My favorite of her recommendations was the roti. It was served with curry and a peanut sauce for dipping. They were nicely sized & fulfilling.I ordered the yellow curry with sticky rice & an iced coffee. I don't recall the name of the dish that my friend ordered, but it was equally beautiful & flavorful. My curry was thick & spicy, just how I like it! No thin watered like curry, this curry coated the spoon. It was served with a salad, spring roll, a fresh roll & a couple of dipping sauces. Everything was amazing, I highly recommend popping in.

Jessica Schwarz: My work colleagues and I had an early dinner at Tee Nee Thai on a Wednesday evening. It was not crowded. We were seated promptly and ordered a variety of dishes, tamarind prawns, yellow curry with chicken, Thai sausages, longsong chicken, and longsong tofu, with steamed rice and cucumber salad. Portions were ample, and everything was fresh and tasty. Service was helpful and attentive, and we lingered awhile without feeling rushed. I enjoyed the experience.

Crisler Moor: We always order to-go so can't say much about service. We've liked everything we've ordered and we keep going back.

Martin Kemper: , the drunken eggplant was spot on and the soup

Nino B.: Great ambiance for a Vietnamese restaurant. High ceilings and moderately upscale feel. Not the place to come for pho as they don't have any. Instead they specialize in other traditional Vietnamese dishes and have elaborate settings for lettuce and rice wrap dishes. They recently stopped offering nem nuong with rice paper, herbs, and vegetable dish which was our favorite. Staff is always friendly and the food is consistently good.

Chelle T: We use to visit this restaurant more often. Friends would share the 7 course beef and we would order a fried fish. This time it was ok, 3.5 for most of the meal. The skewered pork, kho catfish, garlic noodle was on the sweet side. The lemongrass chicken was spicy. The sour soup could have been a bit more sour. I would have preferred the egg rolls to be crispier. Service was nice amd fast.

Thuy-Vu Nguyen: The grilled fish and fish fat dish is very deliciousFast and dedicated service

Pho Mai #1 Noodle House: what do users think?

richard rey: One of the best Pho noodles in California! If you are passing by the South Bay, this should not be missed!Parking: Parking is always available!

M P: Visited Pho Mai on a bustling Saturday night and found the place nearly at capacity, yet the ambiance was welcoming right from the start. We were greeted promptly upon entry and given the flexibility to choose our own seating, a small yet appreciated gesture that set a positive tone for the evening. The ordering process is a bit unconventional—you place your orders at the register—but it’s straightforward and the staff there couldn’t have been friendlier. The food was simply delicious, showcasing authentic flavors that resonated well with our palates. However, patience is advisable as the preparation time leaned towards the longer side, and dishes didn’t arrive simultaneously. Despite this minor hiccup, the quality and taste of the food were undeniably worth the wait. All in all, Pho Mai offers a delightful dining experience with its friendly service and flavorful dishes. Just be prepared for a slight wait, especially during busy hours, which is a small trade-off for the quality meal that awaits.

Matt Hamilton: Introduced an old friend. It's a good restaurant which serve vietnamese food. Banh Mi is pretty good. But is even more special when I met my really good buddy, Rylan! He served as a missionary in Viet Nam many years ago. We built up the relationship over years. It's just like before, same food, but many thousands of miles away. Although he lost some Vietnamese, I still love him. He is a soldier now, in US army. What a historic day!I remember this moment forever!

Peter Au: Recommended dishes Fried Pork Spring Rolls, Grilled Pork, Pork Chop Rice Plate with Assorted Meats

Aris Portales: Everything is great, but the timing to get my good to me could be faster and pricing.Parking: There could be more spots available to park.

Carl Tomi: My experience at the Vietnamese restaurant was absolutely delightful! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, each bursting with flavors and aromatic herbs. The pho I ordered was a bowl of heaven, with tender beef and a rich, fragrant broth. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure I had a fantastic dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing Vietnamese cuisine!

Greg W.: Wow, I walked in a bit unsuspecting since it was pretty quiet inside for a late lunch but the food was yummy and the staff helpful and friendly. Half half noodles and salad base, Vn pork, veggies, and Vn sauce. Yum. Plentiful protein and all around really nicely flavored and well balanced. Great size for lunch and already plated in a to-go type cardboard bowl. Also got the loaded nori fries that came with a little pork, carrot, daikon, cilantro, seaweed, and a light sauce. Also really good but a tad messy considering the shredded carrots and daikon. Still tasty and would get it again, just be prepared with chopsticks or really get into it.Atmosphere is modern, fast casual, order and pick up at the counter. Think vietnamese bowls that can be customized like a poke or chipotle bowl. Again, really nice staff and good food. Give it a try, I'd go again!

Marji Lang: Very nice and fresh food, friendly and welcoming. I loved my VN signature bowl and shrimp rolls it felt fresh and healthy.Dietary restrictions: Customizable bowls for low carb/keto diet : noodles and rice can be replaced with salad.
