TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Jose Cupertino: what do users think?

Alex: What a great place but at night you will sometimes hear street racing it’s San Jose what do you expectRooms: The room are pretty goodSafety: You need a key car to even get into you room building the the same card for your room as expectedFood & drinks: Breakfast only there is some snacks at the front desk and some drinks

Harry Kendall: the wifi was wonderful and the rooms clean and roomy. and the free breakfast was really good. I'd do this again anytime.....

Anna Lúcia Marcondes: Good facilities, reasonable breakfast, not very hospitable staff. Good location.

Bethany Van Horn: Great stay, great price. A few things could be done better however those things weren’t a huge issue to my overall satisfaction with our stay. I would definitely stay here again. The location is great. Easy freeway access. We were within a 10 minute drive to Winchester Mystery House, Santana Row, Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, grocery stores and restaurants.Check in and check out was easy. Though there wasn’t always someone at the check in desk. I walked in twice after check in, once to request something for our room and lastly for check out. Those two times no one was at the desk I had to say “Hello?” to alert a staff member that I was there. I think there should be someone at the desk at all times to greet anyone who comes in.The room was great, it was clean and tidy. The closets and bedding were nice. The couch pulled out to a bed. The kitchen was good except the silverware drawer had limited utensils; for a suite that can sleep six there was not enough - 4 big forks, one spoon and 2 or 3 knives. Cookware and dishes were sufficient. I went to the main office to ask for spoons and the receptionist gave me some plastic spoons. Perhaps I should have called housekeeping. The pool was nice, it was warmed enough to feel good on a spring day but not so warm as a bath. It wasn’t a huge pool but big enough for my kids and a couple adults to enjoy. There were towels for drying off after and even some pool noodles and a beach ball to play with. The pool grounds with the mini roses all around was very pretty, there was plenty of seating, and even a bbq.Breakfast was confusing. Throw away plates but reusable bowls. No instructions on where to put the reusable bowls. There was a tiny pitcher of half & half and another pitcher of milk - which ran out quickly. No pancakes or waffles, my kids were disappointed about that. Premade egg bites, sausages with cheese to make a breakfast sandwich, and dry oatmeal to put in a microwave with about 6 different mix-ins. I think the only fruits were bananas and whole apples? I don’t recall. Breakfast could definitely be improved. I’d go out to breakfast or have my own food in my room next time.

Lakshminarayanan Kavapatti Ramachandran: Hotel highlights Quiet

Andy Vo: Free parking, free breakfast, and free cloth detergent.

Shubhangi Kapatkar: Definitely recommend stay in here, close to freeway, and all the good places to eat around within a few miles, Santana row is close by too. Friendly staff and the front desk.

Derrick Carter: Service was excellent. Everything I requested the front desk team worked on it and a timely manner. I asked for the bbq grillers to be cleaned before I use it, they gave me a call when it was done. I didn’t have a large pot to cook with and they delivered and new quart size pot, and they gave me a late check out for being titanium elite member. 4 star on the room only because it’s an older hotel. But housekeeping keep my room refilled and clean as well. I recommend this hotel

Rick Munder: Near where I needed to be and the staff is amazing BUT the entire place is in desperate need of an upgrade. Carpet everywhere is worn and just dirty, rooms are in need of repair and the dark parking lots could use some lighting especially in light of recent events in the area. The price vs value isn't good at all. Time to improve.Rooms: Need an upgrade desperately

David Loganathan: Staff are friendly and helpful. We came from Canada for an event. Neat and well maintained. Breakfast for great since it is Inn. Nothing to worry for food it is surrounded by food places. Closer to highways. Nothing to complain.Nearby activities: Closer to Highway. Kind of hotel has food places close by. Everything is quickly accessible.

WhyTigr LovesYa: ! Especially when compared to other Marriott properties. It isn't too big of a deal, just something to keep in mind if that's your preferred method of communication. The cabinet doors in the room I stayed in this time were damaged, wouldn't open easily, and threatened to fall off of the hinges when attempting to open them. The ventilation fan I'm the bathroom did not work and bathing became a very sauna-like experience, even when the temperature of the water was turned down. One good aspect of the visit this time was the breakfast selections. Normally, they have overcooked scrambled substitute egg foam that is very stiff and dry, but on this visit, they made some fritattas with diced bell peppers. They were very good and were an excellent surprise. They sometimes have bacon, and it is that thin sliced smoked kind that is always good. There are also hard-boiled eggs, bread for toast/sandwiches, bagels, cereal, oat meal, yogurt, apples, oranges, juice, milk, coffee, and hot chocolate. Finally, they have a waffle iron you can use to, we'll, make waffles! It's a good place to stay overall. It's not loud, even when it gets really full, and it's the only Marriott property in the area if you're a bonvoy member. I recommend it if you're staying around this area of town.

Lucia Valdez: Is nice and clean place to stay in the south area. Is convenient close to stores and hospital.Food & drinks: MacDonald, Jack in the boxTaco Bell, Jamba juice, great bagel place.Star bucks, other Mexican restaurant Asian restaurant

Matthew Flores (Matt): Very inviting staff and remarkably clean. Residence Inn on St. Ignacio is a relatively quiet location and that was nice. I only enjoyed looking at the pool because it was too cold outside.Walkability: It is just a 10 minute jaunt from the Santa Teresa Light Rail station.

Sonesta Select San Jose Airport: what do users think?

David Elliott: We enjoyed the stay at Sonesta. Clean rooms. Quiet. Within walking distance of a good Italian restaurant. We had an issue with the shuttle. The luggage is loaded in the back out of sight. One of our bags went with the first group to leave the shuttle. We were on our way to Seattle and our carry on was going to Maui. The two airlines eventually helped us out. Thank you Alaska and Hawaiian!

James Hards: Super close to airport so perfect for a late/early flight. If no car from airport then take the bus over and cross the road for easiest/cheapest accessRushi at reception was great amazing, upgraded my room and sorted out the hotel transfer back to airport

Ajit Kumar: - The hotel staff were courteous and humble.Overall nice experience being here

eric fourcroy: Very good welcome with a smile.Spacious and clean room with coffee.Quiet establishment and very close to the airport.Free shuttle service even at 4:30 in the morning. For the meal there is the reception of dishes to be heated and others as well as drinks.Perfect

種村次記: American hotel. Breakfast will be eaten while ordering at the hotel's cafe. There's no continental breakfast, just burgers and waffles, so it's not good. It's also a problem that there aren't many shops in the area. There's not much difference if you think about using Uber to get around, but when it comes to shopping, the nearby Holiday Inn is more convenient. The room is spacious enough and somewhat cheap.

Tafari Makonnen: Spent one night, it was quiet and relaxing.Rooms: Looks like old building they renovated & upgraded. I was very happy with choice staying thereSafety: Safe area, still be careful for opportunistic criminals that vandalize and steal

Ervin Ramirez: Rooms: Very cleanHotel highlights Great value …

Sam Rogstad: Our view of the mountains was amazing. Rooms and common areas were very clean. Hotel staff were all professional and friendly. The bar area was really the greatest part, bartender Javier made perfect drinks and was swiftly getting food/drinks out to a full dining area and bar and didn't make a single mistake. The flatbread we had was amazing as well. We went to the bar multiple evenings. Great stay.

Andrew Evans: Clean and convenient location

John B: The room was very nice, spacious and included a kitchenette. My one complaint was that kids were running up and down the hall at night making noise and knocking on our door. We called the front desk three times to complain but I don't know if any action was taken. Otherwise, I loved the hotel.Noteworthy details: My wife was very happy to have fruit available with breakfast. The coffee was very good.

A Haeusler: The hotel is pretty quiet, in a safe area, with breakfast included, a nice pool, and a robust store in the lobby for snacks, drinks, and toiletries. The location is quite convenient to San Jose or Mountain View but fairly isolated so there isn’t anything walkable nearby. We were hoping to walk along the trail behind the hotel towards Mountain View but it is blocked off as a bird sanctuary so that was disappointing. The train line that runs along the hotel wasn’t too bad but they did sound their horns several times a day including daily at 6am and airplanes going directly overhead can certainly be heard while you’re at the pool.Overall great amenities and friendly staff.Safety: Felt very safe.Walkability: Nothing nearby to walk to.

Kemberly Mora Elizondo: Love staying at this hotel and being able to enjoy all its comforts and services

Ramona Turner: I booked my stay here for my own personal birthday getaway to recharge. I picked this hotel because it is local with access to nature. This is my first time here, and I am loving it. The property is beautiful. The staff is nice and the designers thought of everything to make it feel like home -- ample perfectly placed and sized signage and trash cans; room windows that open; plenty of nooks and crannies to put your belongings; a gorgeous and well stocked free breakfast buffet with gluten-free options; plenty of plugs for your devices; comfortable bed and furniture with feather-free option....I am so happy I found this place! What a gem -- l can see myself hosting family from out of town here -- close to the airport and Great America; nature trail accessible from the pool and courtyard; ample parking; near Caltrain for a stress free trip to SF.Thank you, Marriott♡

Gerrit Ritt: We came during their Thanksgiving brunch, which was ridiculously good. Almost over the top honestly. We got lucky because at the same time, the holiday fest was going on right outside the front door, so we got to ice skate and take our 10 year old on carnival rides and see the lighting of the Xmas tree 20 yards away from the hotel. It was perfect timing ... The sushi spot in the lobby was top notch as well. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance as well. We'd definitely come again.

Elisa Ritt: We had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. Impeccable service, spacious, comfortable and elegantly appointed suites. The hotel is easily accessible to all the fun restaurants and activities in Downtown San Jose. The Thanksgiving brunch was to die for. Best buffet I’ve ever had. We will definitely stay here again next Thanksgiving

Anna Gehriger: . The lobby is beautiful and has great spots for special occasion photos. The live music on Saturday night was also by a very talented jazzy live band.

1 impom: Located within a 5-minute walk from the San Jose Convention Center. You can use the pool and gym.

Kris: Had the privilege of staying here with my family before our short term housing became available. Our rooms were huge and well maintained given the circumstances. The hotel is about to undergo renovations which will be nice as the equity in the room is dated. The staff here is great and everyone cares about you which is different. While you do see a lot of homeless around the area, we felt safe at the hotel and the do have security overnight. The rooms are clean and the sheets were crisp. Housekeeping only comes once a week so be prepared if you stay here.Rooms: The rooms made us feel like home as the square footage was more than enough for a family of 5.i like that the suite with 3 beds don’t have the rooms right next to each other. The kids had the sofa and other room across from us.Safety: The hotel felt safe and you see staff always around. At night it looks like they have security and they have the security car at the hotel.Walkability: The hotel is t really located near much. I would suggest driving as it does have homeless around the hotel.

Tommy Hepner: Great service, food, and atmosphere. The location sucks due to the Zombie Apocalypse of homelessness. Typical California, what do you expect.Food & drinks: The bar food is surprisingly amazing and the wine choices are really good.

Gaku “GK” Kamitani: Just as other Holiday Inn brand hotels, I think this hotel is quite good at least for a business trip. It is located a little away from the center of San Jose, but is conveniently close to San Jose Mineta airport. Room rates are relatively reasonable compared to hotels around the downtown. And the room is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable enough to have a good night's sleep.

Nevin: The service from arrival to leave was amazing. They are the most polite customer service folks I have dealt with on my travels. The food at the bar is really good along with the drinks selection. It can get a bit noisy however I would trade that for all the positives. There are some good restaurants outside the hotel as well within a few minutes walk.Rooms: Large rooms with all the amenities.Food & drinks: Great food and drinks... Nice area outside to relax. Close to good restaurants in walking distance.

Eder: Nice big hotel with a lot of amenities.Clean gym.Meeting hallsBreakfast puechased separately. No free coffee.A little over priced but not too much.

Lane Van Lith: Rooms: 5/5

melialvarez23: Clean rooms, convenient location, I've stayed here a lot over the past couple of years. Last time I visited, the girl at the counter wasn't very friendly or welcoming. And didn't tell us about breakfast or anything. Also they charge for parking now $15 a day. Which was a surprise to us.The Breakfast is OK if you want bagel and a coffee for some fruit or cereal. We enjoyed staying here in the past but maybe an Air bnb is more cost efficient at this point.

Cory Peters: Clean, nice people. Close to the airport.

Amir Rangwala: Staying at the Hyatt Place San Jose Airport, even though my visit was brief, was an exceptionally pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made a lasting impression. Despite my stay being only a few hours, the level of comfort and convenience I experienced was noteworthy. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a relaxing environment. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the airport added a layer of convenience, making my travel plans smoother and more stress-free. The efficiency of service, from check-in to departure, was seamless, reflecting the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. In summary, my short stay at the Hyatt Place San Jose Airport was marked by exceptional service, comfort, and convenience, making it a highly recommendable choice for travelers seeking quality accommodation near the airport.

Chan Chuckwow: . Free parking, room 227 looked fresh

Clenz Jimenez: back in the day this place was awesome but nowadays not so much they switched to an auto mated check in and the person who works there never to be foundRooms: rooms are clean always and they got jacuzzi tubs.. plus plus it's literally 3 blocks from the world famous Santana row and valley fair

Aman Nakfa: Fantastic customer service, very clean, and well equipped. We are very satisfied. Thank you so much.Rooms: We found it fantastic verything .Safety: Everything was safe, we haven't seen anything that looks unsafe.Walkability: Walkable, there stores restaurants, even the airport is very near by

Comfy Chris: In the realm of modern hospitality, I found solace in the contactless and autonomous check-in/out system, along with the convenience of a digital key at this hotel. The standard cleanliness of the room was a welcome sight, enhanced by the thoughtful inclusion of complimentary washer and dryer facilities. While the nearby falafel restaurant proved convenient for daytime sustenance, the lack of nighttime dining options near the hotel left something to be desired. When it concerns travel, every detail—from the seamless check-in process to the culinary landscape—plays a role in shaping the journey's.
