Yuki Amarone: I was staying at the San Jose Marriott Hotel and decided to have a drink with a colleague at a nearby bar. After walking around and looking around, I found this bar and entered. Although the lighting was quite dim, I found a sofa and sat down.After 3 minutes, no one came to take my order, so I realized I had to order by myself at the counter. I decided to order an original cocktail, and my colleague ordered and paid for it. The bourbon and whiskey based cocktails were delicious.The music was so loud that I couldn't hear my coworkers talking. This was more of a club than a bar. If you want to enjoy conversation with colleagues while drinking alcohol, this may not be the place for you.Kid-friendliness: Students are prohibited from entering.
Nowadays Music: Listennnn!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if u are from Europe zone and u are looking for rave this is the best place for raving in San Jose area. U gonna like music after 11pm for sure. DJ plays melodic techno music and atmosphere is good as well !!! If u are between this bar/club and pure nightclub this is better option if there is no good event in pure nightclub.

Chinmay Surpur: Went to the Willow Den Public House for an event and had a splendid time there! I love the atmosphere and the people who frequent the spot. The owner Han is a really cool and friendly guy too! I loved the pool tables in the side and the different types of seating options. Plenty of bar seating and some booths as well. Great for a pregame, night out, or just kicking it with a friend. Loved the music too. Will definitely be back again!

Scarlet Spider: This is a great place to hangout after a long work week.Super mellow, relaxed, upbeat, and fun atmosphere. Pool tables cost $2/game, drinks are cold & strong, and the restrooms are always really clean!Overall, Willow Den is a great local hangout.

Fernando Monroy: It is a good place with good music, very good atmosphere, very clean. The only problem is that the bar only has one person so it is difficult to order something to drink!

Cristina Medina: Oh my was just walking by when visiting San Jose not long ago. We came across Mama Kin and the music and energy was just pouring out of there. Me and my husband had to go in, we got a couple of drinks enjoyed the live salsa music. It was close to closing time, and the lady at the front let us both in for half the cover fee, which was not alot. Def enjoyed this short encounter with Mama Kin.
Bless D.: Love the ambiance and customer service. We went on a Sunday brunch, and they had live music. The DJ was pretty cool, and the music was awesome. He played old school rnb, which was great! Javier, the manager, was really attentive to all the patrons and made sure we all had a great time. Would definitely go back again. Ohhh, and shrimp and grits was yumm!

Philip Bernosky: . Hard folding chairs with a few leather couches around the perimeter. While I wish the chairs were more comfortable, the fact is there are few places that highlight the music and the musicians. I will keep coming back for this kind of atmosphere and music talent level.
Christine Morrison: Balkan Comedy Night was a blast! Perfect size crowd for a relaxing night of comedy. Parking was not as difficult as I expected.
Chris Sterbenc: Really neat little venue for live music in San Jose. This is a very unusual space, with a quirky little shop out front. They sell a broad variety of interesting items, ranging from comic books to t-shirts, posters and random, humorous curiosities. Behind the shop is the actual music hall. This is a cozy little venue that holds maybe 150-200 people. Great sight lines to the stage, which sits in front of a wall covered by hundreds of really cool album covers. They have an excellent variety of beers available from local breweries like Almanac and Drake's. There is also a tiny kitchen that serves some yummy snacks.
