Shawn Hickey: I had some issues with my 2011 Mini for quite some time, brought it to Alvin’s based on previous ratings and customers experience. Wow am I grateful! Now I will be returning to Alvin’s if there are any concerns at a time in the future with my vehicle. I wasnt able to bring the vehicle in during normal business hours but they graciously helped make sure that I could get it there. Mike at Alvin’s informed me every step of the way, allowed me to stay in touch via text and provided hassle free communications and invoicing. The techs here at Alvin’s know what they are doing and I am forever grateful that they were able to get my car back up and running in great condition and I can finally drive in a relaxed state again. I came in for front brakes and rotors and left feeling well taken care of. They even took care of some things that my dealership for some reason didn’t take care of. susan stout: Alvin’s Auto CenterRecently my car’s air conditioning stopped working. I went to my long time mechanic in San Carlos and he told me that my compressor wasn’t working, that it would take him two days to replace the compressor and it would cost me approximately $ 1,300 to $ 1,400. Since I use my car for work, I decided to call Alvin’s Auto Center in Willow Glen and get a second opinion. I spoke with their service advisor, Michael, who is a very kind person and graciously listened to my story. Michael also explained that they’d need to do their own diagnostic test on my car’s AC and, if it was the compressor, they could finish my car in one day if I arrived at their shop early in the morning.Thank goodness I went to Alvin’s Auto Center! They checked my AC and I learned that my compressor was okay - the issue was a relay - a part that cost approximately $ 28.00. Alvin’s Auto Center saved me over $ 1,000! I appreciated their honesty and quality work. I will definitely be going back to them to work on my car in the future.

Laura Carroll: My very old and very worn Lexus 350 was making noises from the rear of the car. I needed help quickly, and was able to get an appointment the next day for a diagnostic test. I was pleased to meet Mike, who was expecting me, and the office was neat, clean, and comfortable. Mike got on the test immediately and in a few hours sent me an exhaustive evauluation of the car, complete with photos of the problems and video and sound of the wheel issue. It is difficult to doubt or argue with such explicit evidence of malfunction. Mike and Alvin both were friendly, professional and courteous. I'd take my car to them again.
Donna Rhodes: Most recently, I visited Alvin's Auto Center as I needed a front end alignment. The staff immediately noticed that my front left tire was so worn that you could see the wire in the tire. They were able to replace both front tires at a reasonable cost, which prevented having a major blowout on the road. So grateful for the attentiveness of the staff. I felt very taken care of by this team. I do plan on making this center my go to, for my car's maintenance.

I just went in for an oil change, but they took the time to check it over. They don't rush cars in and out, and they are meticulous. I was very impressed on my first visit; I think I've found my new regular mechanic!

Huy Bảo Ngo Văn: My 2009 Lexus ES350 car suddenly developed a key recognition issue. Both my key and the spare key were not recognized. This led me to tow the car to two different automakers, who diagnosed a problem with the car's computer and recommended I take it to a Lexus dealership.I took it to the dealership, and they charged me around $270 for the diagnosis, $500 to change the battery, and $11,000 to change the whole computer of the car. That's crazy. I and the dealer guy agreed that the car was junk at that time. I was so depressed because of the car; it's been one month since then.Alvin Autoshop is my last hope. Tony is such a nice guy. He waited for me 30 minutes after the shop's closing time to help me check in for the car. After that, the procedure was very transparent, step by step. He answered all the questions and gave me solutions for such a complex case. Finally, after 3 weeks, he and his team fixed it with around $3000 for the part and $2500 for almost 3 weeks of work with the car, which was very reasonable.Last thing, thank you so much to Tony and his team; I definitely recommend it to anyone who has trouble with the car.

Were extremely nice to me, and didn't charge me. And I was able to fix it myself, my AC vent. Saved $525 that BMW was charging me for a diagnostic. I have some other work to do. I will definitely be going back there!!!! Not a 5 star, a 10 star place l!!

daniel garcia: Last week I had a headlight out during one of those really Smoky days where 8:00 in the morning look like night time and since I was driving back from work I would need to have my headlights on so I stopped by Larry's and the guy that works there Joe not only changed my headlamp but I offered and gave him my credit card and he turned it down said no it's okay it only took a few minutes that for me goes a long long way on honesty and just compassion for his customers I will now be taking my car there to have it serviced goodness goes a long way and it's s*** for all of us and there's something about Joey just seems very honest and I'm telling the world right now we all need a mechanic who's honest so we can trust our car when we leave it there and knowing that it'll get fixed whatever the problem is and he won't fix anything else and try to make more money on the top Joe you're an honest guy and I like you this is Daniel James the abstract artist same five stars Larry's foreign and domestic service plus the secretary or manager of the office is very fun to look at I hope she doesn't read this

Karen Davis: This is my first time using Capitol Ford and I was not thrilled. I had what I thought was a transmission issue, and Morgan Hill Ford just won't do service at all for that. Not at all. Wow, that says volumes about Ford quality. So I made an appointment here, and took it in. It was not a transmission, but the front axle and transfer case, a $6000 repair. Probably way overpriced, but I needed the car fixed, so I did it. My service writer was good, but when he was out of the office, no one else could tell me anything. When I picked up the car, it was covered in sap and the windshield wiper fluid was empty. Filled it up at home, all leaked out by next morning. My service writer did have me bring it in again to fix that, and they found nothing wrong. They did find rodent damage and had to replace my fuse box cover at cost. That was great, but took 4 days to get the part. I feel that the service writer did a great job, but does not have the rest of the team to back him up.
