David Tabora: The team here helped us have a beautiful and private celebration of life. The hall was large and comfortable with an area outside to comfortably provide food and drink for guests. There was free and abundant parking in their private lot in a nice part of town. They had the technology for music and a slide show and mics and a podium for speakers. They also helped us with small items such as an online interactive obituary, a guest book, token cards, and directions at the cemetery. The staff during the actual day of the burial was very knowledgeable and guided us on how to give the best presentation. Christie was eager to listen to our story and worked closely with us to troubleshoot things. We are very happy with the great send-off for mom.

They made it happen. The only reason we didn't do the catering there, was size and spreading the wealth so to speak. We elected to have it at the church he attended. I also brought in an old family friend to do the catering. We had live music played by my fathers musician's groups. I couldn't be more grateful 🙏🏼 for all the help we received from Lima Erikson.

Cristina Escobar has been in the business a long time and is very knowledgeable. Not only that, she’s very empathetic during such a difficult time.My mother had a pre-planned funeral, which made things easier. However, since I live in a different state, there was some more work involved with flying back and forth with her ashes. Cristina made sure I had all the relevant permits and paperwork necessary.I didn’t return for another year to scatter my mother’s ashes, but service at Willow Glen was seamless. Cristina made sure I got the salt urn my mother had ordered to bring her ashes to sea.Remains are cremated with an identifier tag, so you know you are getting the ashes of your loved one.It was comforting knowing that things were taken care of the way they should be.

J. Mejia: We were not prepared for one of the most difficult moment of our lives. The passing of a love one has no manual. We had not spoken to anyone with Casa Funeral Service before this call. Within 30 minutes we had the two most sympathetic men to guide us through this part of our mom’s passing. Elias was the first to arrive. He gave his condolences and he then gently went through paperwork for the transportation of our mom. The paperwork took 5 minutes. Mark soon joined Elias. Mark gave his condolences. Elias explained the next step the removal. Elias also explained that we could or didn’t have to be present for the removal of our mom. He came to my home and went through the paperwork needed for the death certificate step by step with me. Sergio was there anytime I text him to answer any questions my siblings, nieces, my children or I had. He immediately replied with the answer putting us at ease. Sergio was always sympathetic, understanding and reassuring in the moment we needed someone to be. We will be grateful for Casa Funeral Service’s work ethic, money wasn’t what they were after they were there to help guide us through this dark moment. I was greeted by one of the staff members and they brought us into a very sweet space to say our final goodbyes to Twix, our dwarf hamster that recently passed.They explained everything in detail, provided us with a variety of different options for the ashes. They even has a biodegradable option to plant the ashes. We opted for a beautiful blue urn.The space had very calming music and a visual showing some quotes. We were really sad to bring our Twix over here but, they really created a welcoming and calming space for us to cry, grieve, and say a final goodbye. There was a nice pillow setup where you could lay your pet. We brought his favorite t-shirt and some roses. We were even able to light some candles in honor of him.The services were a great way to say goodbye to our favorite little guy. We're looking forward to picking up his ashes soon to remember him and feel his essence in our home. Nicki M: Thanks to Casey at Bay Area mortuary for taking care of my baby Hall and now his brother Oates. I went on a stressful search to find a location that provided aquamation in the Bay Area. Unfortunately I live in Oakland. But it’s was worth the trip! Because I wanted to have my fur children converted from animals to plants but I don’t own property here in California. Regular cremation you can scatter the ashes, but it’s not really environmentally friendly and kinda bad for the earth because of the charred element in the soil and no regrowth from burned ashes. Not only that but the ozone layer. That breaks my heart thinking that all my cats did and were they couldn’t make another stage of life. As they deserved. Aquamation uses water to break down natural tissue and then bones are grounded to powder. For a more environmentally, friendly way of preserving the body.Casey who operates it solely was patient and kind and she’s really cool! I know most individuals are in major grief but please remember. It’s only so many that operate a funeral home, and then especially deal with pets. Casey is the ONLY PERSON WHO WORKS aftercare for PETS! She gets swamped! BUT SHE CARES ! A lot of us have loss our fur kids! As a person who also solely operates a business. Please be patient.I know grief is overwhelming but with the new intake system. It has made everything much easier for booking aftercare for your pets. I’m glad I did. I’m also have spinal issues so I can’t legally drive so I took a bus and ride share for both of my pets. I email the facility prior but I did have to keep Hall in a freezer for a few days and Oates for a few days while I gathered information about the aftercare. I know it seems morbid but I rather have my babies with me and send them properly ready for afterlife than a rushed job.I got a bio urn so when I plant them they will be flowers with some added nutrients and seedlings so at least I have them Fur babies in aDifferent form.Thank Casey ! Sacred Space Memorial wasn't a huge company, but all the team members were able to move organically and meet everything customers wanted, such as the date and time.
