Mr. Branham: One of my favorite places in the area not because it's named after me but because on lazy days I can sit out there and just do nothing. Moreover, when the sprinkler system cuts on, you can watch the kids around through the sprinklers and I can sit and relive some childhood memories. Plenty of playground activities to do. Nice to shade trees and just a good place to hang out and do nothing sometimes. A uneventful day are the best days.

Mukesh Garg: It's a green park and amusement to the people of all age. We all seniors meet altogether Indian parents. Here all race community walk and do jogging and play football tennis and basketball.
V: Very nice park with large grass area, kids play area, grilling area, water fountain, pickleball court and beach volleyball court. Lots of roadside parking.
Safa Kagadkar: I like how open and spacious this park is. No gates or fences or barriers. Good ground for running. Nice shaded area with a roof of wooden beams and cement benches and tables. Barbecue pits and trash cans are nearby. Multiple walking paths that criss-cross the entire park. Playground for kids looks safe and sturdy. 馃挐
M W: Very fun park! Lots of green space and two nice play structures. In the area, Doerr Park is probably better equipped for larger groups or kids but for younger kids and smaller groups or those looking for grass or courts, this is great!

David Dunlap: Cahalan Park is a really safe park for family and kids. Located next to a church and a preschool daycare. I used to live next door to this park and raised my kids there.Playground: Great safe playground for kids, and they have basketball courts, Tennis courts, and Baseball courts.Restrooms: CLEAN!Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly.Picnic area: Some picnic area with tables.

There are chairs and tables so you can invite friends to have a birthday party. BBQ is also allowed.There are also two grass fields so people play with their kids and dogs there, or fly their kites. Some people will practice soccer and volleyball there.A few groups of kids and teenagers like roller skating along the trails or on the basketball field in the evening.Go there and have fun!

Tortas Ahogadas: The grass needs to be cut
Marlene: If you are looking for quiet and serene this park is not it. This is a very lively park. There are a lot of walkers, dog walkers, and joggers. The park has 2 playgrounds, one geared for younger children one geared for elementary school children. There's Picnic areas that are always filled with birthday parties on the weekends. There's always lots of people playing at the basketball courts and there are horse shoe pits. This park is home to a local Little League and they utilize the 2 baseball and 1 softball field, which are open to the public when they are not in use & The snack shack is open during baseball games in the on season. In addition, The ice cream truck always makes it's way around the park at some point during the day at least once, usually more than once on the weekends in the late spring, summer and early fall seasons.
Pero Lero: I love this part of San Jose. A lot of hard working honest people just trying to make a living. The neighborhood still has a 'working class' feel to it. I played soccer and basketball there many, many times.
