Rosita Lesmana: I’m unsure why they got bad rating? I went to this place years ago and would love to come back because I absolutely love their princess cake.We bought coffee cake and biscotti on top of princess cake slice and I love everyone of them.They have nice seating area and they’re pretty quiet so it’s perfect place to work or study. The service was ok, the person assisted us very nicely without any issue. The only downside is finding parking. It’s so hard to find good parking that we had to circle a couple of times during rush hour.
Carmen Pollet: The cafe has a warm and cozy atmosphere. I had a cheese and fruit plate. I also had a mango mousse for dessert. The cheese with fresh crunchy bread was so delicious. The mango mousse was the best I have ever had. The service was impeccable. My only complaint was on my end. I wish I could have stayed and had a glass of wine instead of having to take it to go.I look forward to going again.
Jill J: Just come for the cinnamon croissant 🥐 when I tell you, that was the FLAKIEST, BUTTERIEST, croissant I’ve ever had in my life. WOWWWWW!!! I got a carrot juice too. SO fresh and clean. The chicken panini was good, but parts of it were cold and I wanted it hot all the way through. Anita Abedian: The team at CSB did an amazing job executing my vision for my daughter’s first birthday custom cake! They are so detailed and thorough, I knew I was in good hands — especially after meeting Jing, one of the most talented decorator/bakers I’ve ever met! She could easily be a competitor on a Food Network cake competition show. I included a picture of the Alice in Wonderland inspired cake she and the team at CSB created, and it was not only stunning, but delicious as well. Mark the owner hand delivered our cake promptly the day of the party and it was perfect.I will definitely order our family’s future custom cakes from here.
Eddy A.: I recently gave a ride to an employee I’ll refer to as X. Not only was she easy to talk to, but she even offered me a cupcake from a 4-pack that she was taking home. The cupcake was a chocolate cherry flavoring that was as moist and as soft as any cupcake should be. Not only that, but X did a great job upselling other products and even the job itself. This bakery is lucky to have her!

You can taste the cream cheese, its.not over powered by sugarMoistChocolate Ganache- moist chocolate cupcake with whipped frosting topped with ganache.The ladoes that helped us both times were super sweet and helpful. Only room for improvement is the space, it feels a little crowded with the seating and I think it can be made a bit cozier and more inviting.
Luisiana: First time coming here all the way from East Side SJ and will definitely be back. Staff was friendly and helpful. Originally came in for last minute birthday cupcakes but the cakes on display looked so yummy- ended up getting the Burnt Almond cake! Everyone at the party loved it and I am glad they had candles and all the things needed to make this same day cake buy look like it was planned 😅😅😅

Runa Clc (Runa): This is a small bakery, privately owned and small business. Has been here for ever. Their fresh baked goods are beyond compare. Not just in taste, but also variety. The milk buns are almost part of my staple diet! Coffee is also excellent. Normally it is quite crowded and line is long. It is evident that their macarons require painstaking preparation , and they come in all sorts of wonderful flavors. The strawberries and cream birthday cake was a big hit as it tasted super fresh and wasn’t excessively sweet.

They're closed on Mondays, but they said I could pick up Sunday afternoon and keep the cake in the fridge until Monday and it would be fine. Pick up went smoothly.The prices aren't on the website but as of this purchase, the 8" Chocolate Hazelnut was $57.

Great for tea and coffee moment. Nice people working there. Community vibe felt. Love this place.
Shaghayegh Bidgol: Honey bakery has been in business for years and we have been their clients for the entirety of the time. Mr. Saeed, the owner, is a true professional. He treats the clients with respect and care. He personally bakes the breads and the pastries and is always at the shop monitoring the prdoduction line to make sure the quality of the work remains at the highest. Their barbari bread, my favorite, is hands down the most delicious bread in the entire California! Thank you Mr. Saeed and the team for keeping the standards high.Parking: Convenient designated spots are available to the clients. If they decide to park in front of the bakery they can or if they want to park at the parking lot they can do so as well.
Melissa Fayyazi: We are visiting from Texas and stopped by for breakfast. We got cream puffs, rolette, chocolate cake, baklava, and sangak. Everything was absolutely perfect! The owner brought us some sarshir with cherry jam for the sangak and it was heavenly. This bakery is top notch and I strongly encourage everyone to give this bakery your business. I wish we had this bakery back home in Texas.

The black sugar cake wowed everyone -- just as good and flavorful if not better than the boba drink, with some interesting textural contrast of crunchy bits, in addition to fluffy and creamy cake/buttercream? layers. So yummy!! The red bean bun I grabbed as a snack was also delicious. We will be back.

Gabe Law: The cake from Van's was perfect. It was gorgeous but the photo does not do it justice. I wish I remembered to take a photo of the inside but it was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo. This cake had large chunks of fruit inside. I highly recommend Van's for your party needs. Our cake was completed quickly and for a very reasonable price. What's not to like? Only downside is parking can be a bit rough as it's in a busy plaza.
Greg Collins: Very good bakery with a wide of variety of cakes, macaroons, pasteries and danishes to choose from. I got some tiramisu and it was sooo delicious. Their ice cream macaroons are out of this world. They also make some really good tropical drinks made with sugar cane. You can preorder cakes for holidays and birthdays. The manager Van is really nice and she goes out of her way to make sure yiur order will be prrfect. You gotta check it out. If you go there once, you will be there at least twice.

ricky graziosi: We usually go to Susie cakes and have had good experiences when eating cupcakes at the store but we placed an order for cupcakes for our engagement party and the experience was less than ideal. We ordered them a month in advance and went with their recommendations. The cupcakes were many hours late available for me to pick them up and the quality was horrible, folks at the party were asking if we home made them.We ended up calling them and they gave us a full refund. We hope to have a better experience next time.

Rocky Quat: Was looking for some banh trang tron and recommended to this place by my foodie buddy. Of all the btt I’ve eaten in San Jose and I’ve tried lot, this one is by far the best and to me taste closer to what’s in vietnam. The flavors were better and the quality was amazing. All the other btt I’ve tried in sj seem like they’re from the same person. This one tasted different with way more topping and cheaper too. You have to give this cafe a try they have a lot of stuff I will try in the future.
