Daniël Spijker: Great selection of 7", neatly organized and reasonably priced. If you're after specific artists or labels just let the staff know, they have a lot more stock in the back, perfectly sorted by label and priced individually. I didn't have too much time when I visited but still walked out a nice stack. Hope to be back soon to dig deeper.
ramos95023: The owner loves to talk music, even if not his genre, great guy. Plenty of soul to choose from, LPs and more 45s than you can count. Please support.
trevor morris: I bought my wife a record player for Christmas last year and now we drive around spending lots of money on music we can play for free on all of our digital devices. Coming to Rooky Ricardo's Records reminds me how fun it was to flip though records and search for beautiful tunes and curious songs of the past. He gave my kids a free 45 and everything was reasonably priced. This is a great place.
Brian Wilson: Love this place
HJ S: If you're into soul disco and funk, a must visit in town
Mark Dubbeldam: Not a very big store but definitely had quite some interesting and fairly priced records. Friendly owner who even recommended some other stores in the area to me.
Steve Medina: Always a good incoming inventory of used records. Mostly rock, soul/R&B and a bit of jazz. Lots of 45s too and turntables for listening.
Lisa Fourtwenty: Largest collection of 45's Ive ever seen! They do have regular LP's but the majority of 45's rule this school! Picked up a nice set of Van Halen 1 & 2 while I was there. Priced slightly higher than some record stores I've been to, but thats the cost of SF too.
Aurél L.D.: Very very cool records shop for soul music and moreThanks so much !!!
Mark Crawford: Picked up a few classic rock rarities here on my visit, though has to be said the shop specializes in soul 45s. Don't miss if you're a vinyl collector.

Gary Cady: Great, friendly local shop. Could easily spend hours looking through a great selection of titles
JoAnn SkyWatcher: We were strolling down College Avenue looking in the windows of different shops. We felt invited into Open Mind Music with it's colorful rainbow rug, and Dutch door open at the top. There were large paintings and posters thoughtfully placed on the walls. Jazz was softly playing on the record player on the left side of the store. It felt so comfortable being their space. We were greeted by Monica who was dressed in gently faded denim bell bottoms with a matching shirt. She looked like she had stepped out of the early 70s while organizing LPs in the oak bins. Everything looked orderly and clean. Some of the LPs were brand new, and others looked like they were barely used.Looking for vintage or new release LPs? Open Mind Music is a great place to check out.
Jason McBriarty: . My taste in music runs a wide gamut - from John Coltrane to Public Enemy; from Billie Holiday to Lauryn Hill; from Sergio Mendez to Jerry Garcia Band; from White Stripes to Vampire Weekend - and Henry is always prepared to share his vast knowledge and make an excellent recommendation. I have even received a text from Henry about a new record release he thought I might like based on a conversation we had months before
Alexander Fabian: The folks here, human and canine alike are a delight. Check the records by the counter for some excellent finds.
