Daniël Spijker: Great selection of 7", neatly organized and reasonably priced. If you're after specific artists or labels just let the staff know, they have a lot more stock in the back, perfectly sorted by label and priced individually. I didn't have too much time when I visited but still walked out a nice stack. Hope to be back soon to dig deeper.

ramos95023: The owner loves to talk music, even if not his genre, great guy. Plenty of soul to choose from, LPs and more 45s than you can count. Please support.

trevor morris: I bought my wife a record player for Christmas last year and now we drive around spending lots of money on music we can play for free on all of our digital devices. Coming to Rooky Ricardo's Records reminds me how fun it was to flip though records and search for beautiful tunes and curious songs of the past. He gave my kids a free 45 and everything was reasonably priced. This is a great place.

Brian Wilson: Love this place

HJ S: If you're into soul disco and funk, a must visit in town

Mark Dubbeldam: Not a very big store but definitely had quite some interesting and fairly priced records. Friendly owner who even recommended some other stores in the area to me.

Steve Medina: Always a good incoming inventory of used records. Mostly rock, soul/R&B and a bit of jazz. Lots of 45s too and turntables for listening.

Lisa Fourtwenty: Largest collection of 45's Ive ever seen! They do have regular LP's but the majority of 45's rule this school! Picked up a nice set of Van Halen 1 & 2 while I was there. Priced slightly higher than some record stores I've been to, but thats the cost of SF too.

Aurél L.D.: Very very cool records shop for soul music and moreThanks so much !!!

Mark Crawford: Picked up a few classic rock rarities here on my visit, though has to be said the shop specializes in soul 45s. Don't miss if you're a vinyl collector.

Jena M Gee: Charming music store packed full of vinyl. 100% local vibe, it was lovely to hear the owner interacting so kindly with folks that came in for this or that - she knew them and they knew her. By the time we left I felt like I did too! ❤️ She played an album for us so we could be sure on a band we thought looked cool but couldn’t place. Prices are already a good deal, and we were offered a discount for multiple purchases.

martin diller: The best vinyl experience with the deepest inventory and cuts in the SF. Make the trip out to Noise, you wont regret it.

Chris Aschman: Only the best.

Collin Director: Super friendly family-owned and operated small business. They played out records for us to see how they spun and sounded. Great selection and overall vibes on one of the best stretches of Balboa

Sandy Anible: --the stock is clean and in excellent condition; the variety is wide; the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Sara played fun music in the store, and I had a good time eavesdropping as she gave other customers recommendations and played records for them while I shopped. They aren't just riding a trend.

T RPC: . I haven't visited every record store in the bay area, but I've been to quite a handful and I've yet to find a store with better selection, prices, atmosphere, events, and friendliness. The mom and daughter who work at the store are always glad to help and clearly love their jobs. They show an incredible knowledge and passion for music and records. They offer me discounts all the time, and as a poor college student it always melts my heart. Sometimes there are musicians playing outside the store, setting a cool vibe. They also support local SF music, art, and photography. All of my favorite records that I own have come from this store. Truly a blast from the past.

Eric Mar: One of the Outer Richmond District’s coolest creative places - live music some Sundays by co-owner Danny Brown and friends and other bands.

chuck handelin: I love this store. Can’t wait for them to open back up.

Damany Brown: .

Mr YOBKISS: One of the better second hand record stores, Cornelius visits this shop whenever he's in town. That says enough!

paolo roberti: Great assortment of 80-90 mostly records but very well curated, everything is musically very curated even when records are from different genres.

Anastacio White: Gread music

Jarred Brewster: Amazing curated collection! So few records in the store and a vanishingly small percentage of them aren’t spectacular. Close your eyes, put out your hand and buy the first thing you touch. This is exactly how a record store survives in 2019.

Mr. Chorizo: Dope music!

August Strange: You should always right every record store five stars or else you're an a******

Carlo Macaluso: I like records store the price are very good !

Edward Garnica: Let me start by saying that this place is no Outback Steakhouse, but if I compared my every experience to that enchanting place in Pinhole I’d go home a miserable mess everyday. This place is a tiny gem with a host that gets hand-written poetry delivered on the daily by the neighborhood prophet. They also have electronic white labels from 15 years ago which is fun to find. Overall pyramid records you are not a rare well marbeled ribeye with a side of shrimp, but you are a strong contender!

Luiz Eduardo de Jesus Fleury: and I have some Brazilian music records

James Gomez: Cool used music store with lots of 7” vinyl records at fair prices. Some LPs are priced at the front. Theres also a lot of movies here too in all types of formats, dvd, blu ray, vhs, laserdisc. There are hardly and new items here, mostly used which has its pros and cons. The upper terrace gives a nice overlook of the entire store.

June Dershewitz: Great selection and friendly shopkeeper.

dario cunha neto: I was in your store and bought several rock CDs for my brother. I am from Brazil. My brother was very happy with the rarities. Congratulations on the store and I forgot to ask your name?I've been to your store and bought several rock CDs for my brother. Eu sou do Brasil. My brother was very happy with the rarities. Congratulations on the store and Forgot to ask your name?

Gavin Ruane: I absolutely love this place!! Even though they don't always have the music I'm looking for, the owner and the atmosphere always make this place a fun trip when I'm in West Portal. I love checking out the different records, CDs, and other cool projects the store has. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and you want to check out a cool store!

Raeann Schissel: Very knowledgeable guys in the guitar room, they knew exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't.

Jason Ruderman: I love this place. One of the best music/movie stores I have ever been to. The quality/square foot of store is #1 anywhere. The owner Shelby pipes great music through the store as well, and also DJ's a radio show in San Francisco Wednesday nights on KXSF FM.

Secoya Canela: the 45's are buy 3 get one free, but the helpful and nice owner of the shop charged me for three and gave me two free. I gave it four stars for a few reasons: besides all of this, the records are not well organized

Nicole Redding Tauc: Went in here for the first time this weekend. Great selection at fair prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner working when I visited. Lucky that this is only a couple stops away from me on the M line, look forward to visiting again soon!

Tony “Frosty” Welch: with a friendly owner.
