Daniël Spijker: Great selection of 7", neatly organized and reasonably priced. If you're after specific artists or labels just let the staff know, they have a lot more stock in the back, perfectly sorted by label and priced individually. I didn't have too much time when I visited but still walked out a nice stack. Hope to be back soon to dig deeper.
ramos95023: The owner loves to talk music, even if not his genre, great guy. Plenty of soul to choose from, LPs and more 45s than you can count. Please support.
trevor morris: I bought my wife a record player for Christmas last year and now we drive around spending lots of money on music we can play for free on all of our digital devices. Coming to Rooky Ricardo's Records reminds me how fun it was to flip though records and search for beautiful tunes and curious songs of the past. He gave my kids a free 45 and everything was reasonably priced. This is a great place.
Brian Wilson: Love this place
HJ S: If you're into soul disco and funk, a must visit in town
Mark Dubbeldam: Not a very big store but definitely had quite some interesting and fairly priced records. Friendly owner who even recommended some other stores in the area to me.
Steve Medina: Always a good incoming inventory of used records. Mostly rock, soul/R&B and a bit of jazz. Lots of 45s too and turntables for listening.
Lisa Fourtwenty: Largest collection of 45's Ive ever seen! They do have regular LP's but the majority of 45's rule this school! Picked up a nice set of Van Halen 1 & 2 while I was there. Priced slightly higher than some record stores I've been to, but thats the cost of SF too.
Aurél L.D.: Very very cool records shop for soul music and moreThanks so much !!!
Mark Crawford: Picked up a few classic rock rarities here on my visit, though has to be said the shop specializes in soul 45s. Don't miss if you're a vinyl collector.

Matt Reames: I just love this place. Always a great selection of used and new records, CDs, and movies. However, if you’re looking for video games I would go elsewhere.
Hermes: Best place ever!
Jonathan Fadok: A classic record store, it's a must do for any real music fan. They have just about everything: vinyl, CDs, tapes, posters, clothes, record players, and media.
James Wayman: This place is legendary. I'm from out of the area, but I was told to locate this store and go here without fail. I'm so glad I did! They have such an amazing inventory of so many things!

I really love Jack's Record Cellar & I am old enough to remember the old man who ran the place. I'm glad this place is still here, that gives me a smile. what a great store.

Luiz Eduardo de Jesus Fleury: and I have some Brazilian music records
James Gomez: Cool used music store with lots of 7” vinyl records at fair prices. Some LPs are priced at the front. Theres also a lot of movies here too in all types of formats, dvd, blu ray, vhs, laserdisc. There are hardly and new items here, mostly used which has its pros and cons. The upper terrace gives a nice overlook of the entire store.
June Dershewitz: Great selection and friendly shopkeeper.
dario cunha neto: I was in your store and bought several rock CDs for my brother. I am from Brazil. My brother was very happy with the rarities. Congratulations on the store and I forgot to ask your name?I've been to your store and bought several rock CDs for my brother. Eu sou do Brasil. My brother was very happy with the rarities. Congratulations on the store and Forgot to ask your name?
Gavin Ruane: I absolutely love this place!! Even though they don't always have the music I'm looking for, the owner and the atmosphere always make this place a fun trip when I'm in West Portal. I love checking out the different records, CDs, and other cool projects the store has. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and you want to check out a cool store!
Raeann Schissel: Very knowledgeable guys in the guitar room, they knew exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't.
Jason Ruderman: I love this place. One of the best music/movie stores I have ever been to. The quality/square foot of store is #1 anywhere. The owner Shelby pipes great music through the store as well, and also DJ's a radio show in San Francisco Wednesday nights on KXSF FM.
Secoya Canela: the 45's are buy 3 get one free, but the helpful and nice owner of the shop charged me for three and gave me two free. I gave it four stars for a few reasons: besides all of this, the records are not well organized
Nicole Redding Tauc: Went in here for the first time this weekend. Great selection at fair prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner working when I visited. Lucky that this is only a couple stops away from me on the M line, look forward to visiting again soon!
Tony “Frosty” Welch: with a friendly owner.

Joe Neigel: Amazing variety of records. All genres and platforms. Love this place!
TAVARIUS POWELL: This is THE place to go if you want to purchase CDs, vinyl records, DVDs, and, above all, cassettes. I went all the way out to Rasputin Music to buy the extended version of X-Men Days of Future Past, but it wasn't available on Blu-ray. It isn't the store’s fault they didn't have the essential DVD in stock. The received inventory is secondhand from whomever or whatever video establishments supply Rasputin Music. Other than the minor snafu, it is great knowing that there is still an existent video store reminiscent of Blockbuster and Hollywood Video.
Dem emd: If music is holy, this place is Heaven.I used to come here all the time when I lived in California, and had never found a record store like this one ever, anywhere. If there is a place, this Rasputin’s is better. If you never been here and are reading this now, you must go. You must experience it. You’ll never go back to any other music store again. If you work here, you work at the greatest place on Earth.
juno leto finney: Always always always go to Rasputin for records and CD's. One of my favorite music stores I've been to. And honestly, do I even need to write this? Its Rasputin. Everyone already knows its good, but ill just confirm it. Amazing Vinyl selection of old rock and a ton of other genres along with modern pop stuff. In the basement theres a ton more as well as CD's and cassettes. Highly recommend!
Jimmy Dutch: Nostalgic
S R: love this store so much!, so many good finds from cds to vinyls, workers r pretty chill and nice, i will be checking out the dvd section soon to start my collection, but i love stopping by this store every time im in berkeley, so many good finds for good prices, and i love how u can find a variety of things from new to used which isnt a problem.
Liliane Howland: Great place to search for vinyl, CDs, and DVDs. You can search for hours and find more than you came for. Family visiting from out of town loves to come here.
Jonathan Echevers: Very nice vinyl selection. Just really, really wish that they didn't put the price stickers right on the album covers. It makes it nearly impossible to get it off. Would be much better if they just put in on the plastic covers.
Kisha Marie: Love music HERE
brian w: Great selection full sized music posters. Vinyl diwn stairs, classical 2nd floor. Cd main floor.
Just fun: Pretty big and good selection
Chris Lee: The downstairs vinyl selection is immense with great records at great prices ready to be found. Probably my favorite record store in the area and worth the drive into the Bay Area. A visit to Rasputins is a solid 1.5 to 2 hour adventure.
Alma Aragon: I love this store
Samuel: Only really checked out the first floor and basement. But the collection of vinyl records were smaller than I remembered
