Joe A Delgado: , Cable Car on Powell, Market Street, MUNI subway and buses. Bus 38R, 9, 7 will take you to the ocean. HI Hostel is centrally located. Civic Center and Plaza are nearby also. Great kitchen, refrigerator, and pantry that you can stock with food and dining room. Lounge has plenty of couches, but no TV. Lobby has a couch, very comfortable. Staff is great. WiFi worked great all week long.Rooms: Clean. Some rooms have attached bathrooms. Some rooms use shared shower rooms and toilet rooms. They are separate. I don't know if any rooms have TV's.Nearby activities: The Hostel is downtown and there is lots to do.Safety: It is a safe area. Beware, Mason St is the eastern boundary of The Tenderloin area of SF. This is an area with a large concentration of homeless people, drug addicts, drunks, and the destitute. Believe it or not, some families with children live here to.Walkability: If you go to SF, you should be in good walking shape

Solenn MERLET: , very clean and super well equipped common areas, you feel like at home!Negative point: the noise from the street that you can hear from the room. But we were pleasantly surprised to see that towels were provided to us!

Caroline K: , however the dining space is nice. We had a private room with a bunk bed, and bathrooms shared with the floor. Bathrooms were always super clean. The bedroom was small as expected, but the beds were good. Only downside is that there was a strange smell in the room the whole time we stayed, which is now lingering on all of our stuff and clothes. Would stay again, but hopefully in another room!Rooms: Small and had a strange smell. Could use more shelves and closet to store clothes etc. Was equipped with a small sink which was nice. The mattress was great quality. And it was relatively quiet even though we were close to the stairs.

Ads: A super humble, down to earth and minimal fuss and cosy hostel with super friendly staff, awesome amenities and a diggin backpacker vibe at extremely reasonable fare. In all my experiences in SFO, this has to be one of the best!I love the amount of effort and culture they embed into both sustainability and creating a safe and secure environment for people of all diversities and backgrounds, this joint makes you feel right at home and has a super comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. They also have a rad breakfast spread included in the price, hot water showers, clean tidy rooms and plenty of other utensils and services which is awesome for packing light and when on the move.

Captain Strobe: , good quiet location. Food and drinks available nearbyWalkability: We walked all over the city from here to fisherman’s wharf and from here to golden gate park.

Eva Christensen: This hostel has a great location, fun activities, clean rooms and quiet inhabitants. My only issue has been noise from the street, since the windows are not at all isolated, and don't even close all the way.

FM: This is my first stay at a hostel. I booked a private room for myself because I knew I would not be able to sleep in a dorm situation.I typically stay in mid to upper level hotels when I travel, so this was a first for me, branching out, to experience other ways to spend the night in a city. This facility met and also exceeded my expectations. My room was perfectly fine, it was extremely clean, the sheets smelled so good. This hostel is in a very old building, and you can feel that old building funkiness as you walk around. It isn't a bad thing. But is this a Holiday Inn Express or the Nikko? No way, but that's okay, it is very good for what it is. It is loud, you are on a very busy street, you will want ear plugs. The location is on the edge of where things get sketchy, but the good news is, you don't have to go there. You can walk around and go to other blocks to get to where you're going. As a single woman, I never felt unsafe. It is a short walk to all transportation, restaurants, sightseeing, and helps you stay within your budget if that is your priority.I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of experience.

Blake Dein: Pretty great place overall, good location and rooms are tidy and comfortable.Feedback to staff: Please take better care when completing payment for stays. I was surprised with an apparent ‘unpaid’ night of stay even after I had specifically asked to pay everything upfront at check in - No communication from the Hostel about any missed payment, other than to disable my key entirely. I totally understand that mistakes happen, however the Desk Agent could do with an improvement to his attitude, I felt he was pretty rude to deal with throughout the entire stay for no good reason.

Annette Harter: and a big plus: a parking garage. There is a bike rental next to the hotel...Not cheap, especially if you compare it with European. Compares hostels, but since everything in San Francisco is very expensive, this price is put into perspective and was okay.

Rainer Voss: Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and free parking. I'd love to come back.Walkability: Many car chases in crime films were filmed on Lombard St nearby.

Franck: Very good hotel!Great welcome, very well located, in a quiet, clean place.Just cereal for breakfast, very good but a little too sweet.

omkar marathe: I had a good experience in this great hostel cum hotel. The hostel is located inside the city center and all of the main tourist locations are in the vicinity! They have a cool patio with good seats. Do remember to bring your own lock as there are lockers inside the room. The room was clean. They offer complimentary breakfast which is mainly cereal, coffee, yogurt and a fruit. This hostel is perfect for solo travelers.Walkability: The hotel is right in the city center and all tourist attractions are in the vicinity.

Fabien Durand: , it allows you to easily get to the 4 corners of the city. The only downside: the sound insulation is catastrophic due to the gaps between the bay windows. In fact, the rooms overlooking the avenue are quite noisy. On the other hand, impeccable service and a caring team who allowed us to change rooms with ease.Tip: have breakfast on the patio!

M C: The location is really great. The street may get loud every now and then so better sleep with ear plugs. We had a spacious private room and had a partial bridge view. Breakfast is complimentary so it is a plus.I want to mention that during check-in we had a glitch, the room wasnt ready as expected but the manager really turned things around and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. I would like to thank them for the courtesy and professionalism.Walkability: Central to major attractions.

Gerhard Holzer: Small hotel in perfect location near to public transport, cable car and many great shopping opportunities. Very fair price-quality ratio, helpful staff and all necessary inventory.Walkability: Cable car station as well as BART and Muni lines at Powell Street / Market Street; union square and a lot of diners, restaurants nearby.

fredrik persson: . The sink was not in the bathroom but just outside. The finish of the room was a bit rough and did have a somewhat unpleasant smell. But minor things in a overall positive stay.We did not experience any disturbing sounds from the street, but from the floor above us.Safety: The building had a security officer present in the lobby during most of our stay. There were also storage lockers. Pretty small though so only suitable for a backpack or two and not luggage.Walkability: The building is located just outside of the famous Tenderloin district. Taking a turn around the corner will immediately present an increased number of "exposed" individuals. We did not feel "not safe", but just something to be aware of.Food & drinks: Being close to Union Square, there are lots of options nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can walk to China Town in just a few minutes, or have a good Thai or Pizza on the way.

FLOR MARIA: Hotel highlights Great view

Linda Mac: .

Michael Mrizek (Mig): Really really good place to stay if you have all day events at Moscone. Efficient rooms with bed and bathroom. Very comfortable to sleep or take quick meetings at. Small lounge area and lobby are comfortable but can fill up quickly if a lot of people are staying there. If you enjoy lounging around a hotel room for large portions of your stay, this place is probably not for you.Like all cities in the US, the homelessness crisis is making things difficult for a lot of business so I do not hold it against Sonder. The hotel itself felt very safe, and the streets are generally safe as long as you don’t go too deep into the Tenderloin in the evenings or nights.Walkability: Only a few blocks away from all major transit for the city and a 10 minute walk to Moscone with plenty of coffee shops on the route.Food & drinks: Loads of food in near by Chinatown and around Moscone.

珍珠沒有奶茶: An accommodation with extremely high CP valueVery clean and welcoming placeIt is very close to Powell Street Station, about a 5-minute walk. There is also a 24hrs burger restaurant Carl’s Jr. nearby.

Macu Valenzuela: Very very goodNearby activities: Very close to metro stations, MOMA, Financial District, you can walk to the pier andSafety: Very goodWalkability: Very close to metro stations

Carolina Maidana: The place is clean, nice and located in the center. It has a common kitchen to heat food and coffee, tea and water are available all dayThe rooms are not cleaned during the stay but there are towels available to change in the laundry areaQuiet room, super comfortable beds, excellent wifiThe area is only ugly at night because there are a large number of drugged people on the street. There are markets nearby. You must check online before arriving because you have to enter data, SMS arrives, facial recognition, etc. but with time before arriving ready, the keys arrive to be able to enter the hotel and roomRooms: Super girls, there is no room.

Piyush Upadhyay: Awesome place and loved the vibes! 10/10 recommended

David Short: . There are a few good restaurants nearby too, and it's attached to a good Chinese food place. Best part is that they have posters/flyers recommending places to check out in SF, which is nice for people only staying for a short while. They have daily events so the community can get together and meet each other, which is nice. I meet a group of people at the Hostel's Weekly BBQ and we went bar hopping afterwards.Altogether it's a great place to stay at. Really felt like staying at a college dorm again.

Ashok Shah: I came here not expecting too much but was totally surprised how wonderful and experience I would have. They have free breakfast daily, taco Tuesdays where we got free tacos, and also Fridays were rooftop bbq nights. Very friendly staff, extremely helpful in all ways. I shall definitely come here next time. Awesome place. Very close to everything. Right in downtown SF.

Michael Polios: . Staff were incredibly helpful, especially as I had found myself in a tough situation with flight delays. I simply needed a place to take a nap after having spent the night at the airport. The staff were okay with me checking in early

Gabriela Peña: Great location!

Fiazio: Best place to be for the great views, breakfast included, great staff. I’m very glad I stayed here and definitely will highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to experience SF In its full glory.Rooms: Very well cleaned rooms. Washrooms are incredibly neat as well.Nearby activities: Boating, eating, fishing, swimming, SFSafety: Lockers are provided, bring your own lock or buy a lock at ~70 cents from the reception.Walkability: Incredible walkable with views to die for.Food & drinks: Kitchen is great so you can buy groceries from Safeway, which is very close by and cook or there are plenty options for restaurants.Noteworthy details: The view is just unbelievable, surrounded by Greenery. Close by everything!

Merl Mor: , someone could have told me that next time I would have to have shoes, a short remark that I didn't appreciate, not seeing the impact that it has on others and taking into account the greater lack of hygiene of other travelers...

Dennis ALLAN: Great value at Ft Mason. Nothing better than looking out the breakfast window at Alcatraz on one side and the Golden Gate on the other.Noteworthy details: Its a hostile so u share rooms with others.

Karen Hooton: Just returned from a week at HI Fishermans wharf. The staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough for us. We had 25 students and they had an amazing time there, there are many good facilities, they loved playing pool and there was enough space for them cook group meals, pancakes in the morning and full english breakfast. Will return again

PAULO ROGÉRIO CAMPOS DE FARIA: Good hostel, very clean, room with good beds, cozy atmosphere. Perfect location, next to Fisherman's Wharf. Good breakfast, just one problem: their coffee is horrible, it looks like dried grass tea.Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …

Regina: . I also had friendly and efficient interactions with the staff at both check-in and check out which was nice.I would definitely stay here again if I had late night or early morning activities to do in the area!Nearby activities: Presidio; Palace of Fine Art TheatreWalkability: Right next to the Presidio and only a 10 minute walk from the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre

Noe C: Daniel & Crystal were super helpful!

Carlos Menchaca: . The rooms were exceptionally clean.Nearby activities: Plenty of restaurants, trails, and sites to view from here. All walkable.

Vl B29: The room is really very small for 4...The best part is the location if you are visiting and you are a walker. If like us you have children, choose a hotel closer to Pier 39.The breakfast is a shame that there are only 3 tables because having breakfast in the room on the bed is really not practical...The hotel car park is paid and does not have space for all cars, complicated parking nearby....

Petra Benson: Staff was super friendly. Rooms were clean. We traveled with our dog. There was a $20 cleaning fee for the dog. There was no place for the dog to her business in the parking area. But, the Presidio was a very short walk away. The pizza place on the corner was good. There is a little convenience store right next door. The only problem was parking. It's a better idea to park your car and use other transportation in the city. One of our group was a vegetarian. The breakfast really didn't have much for them. But, there are plenty of places nearby to eat. It was very quiet in the area at night. 15 minute drive to the VA Hospital. Next time I'm in San Francisco, I'll be staying here.Nearby activities: Art gallery, Yoda fountain.Walkability: Very close to the Presidio. 10 minute walk to art gallery.Food & drinks: Pizza and convenience store next door.

Katie B.: Highly recommend! In a quiet neighborhood, but very close to some of the main tourist stops. There's literally a bus stop right outside the place which makes it convenient for travel. The room was super clean, quiet, and comfy. Exactly as pictured. I would definitely stay here again next time I travel to SF.Nearby activities: Painted ladies, Japantown

Samantha Epstein: We had such a lovely time at The Grove Inn, it was a very simple process to check in and out, and they were also totally understanding about a last minute late check out, it made our trip so much easier! I did book through an outside website, and because of that, there were some communication issues, but would highly recommend just checking in with them to confirm all of your details are correct. Cannot recommend this place enough, especially the bay window rooms for the full San Francisco experience!

Andrea Saltzman Martin: Highly recommended!Rooms: Rooms were spacious, very clean, and super comfortable.Walkability: Great location near lots of restaurants and public transportation.Noteworthy details: Staff are lovely. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Sacha helped us find the best rooms including for my mom who needed the most accessible room.

Dorothy Smith: . One huge plus was that the hotel upgraded us at no extra cost to a suite with 2 queen beds and a larger bathroom our last night and we were very grateful. The hotel itself is quaint and in a great location just one block away from Alamo Square Park where you can get a wonderful view of the city and two blocks away from good coffee and dining choices on Divisidero St. It’s also just a few block up from the Hayes Valley shopping area and green spaces and other great dining choices.

Deb Oriola: A lovely small inn with great access to public transportation, restaurants and shops, and Alamo Square Park! Wonderful staff!Rooms: The room was great for our 3-day stay. The bed was soft -- we prefer a firmer mattress -- but the linens were comfortable and the room was comfortable and perfectly clean, and the bathroom was clean and stocked with needed amenities. We were greeted with a welcome basket of snacks!Safety: We felt very safe at this location and had no concerns.Walkability: Close to Alamo Square Park and local restaurants and shops.Food & drinks: Lots of choices nearby!

Stephanie Hernandez: , especially if you walk around the city. Very friendly staff, they communicate with you by email or SMS, I had to self-check in and I thought it was very easy and safe.. the room was impeccable, a very comfortable queen bed, I was in room 11 which is a little hidden but it helps to limit the noise.. I only stayed one night but if I return I will definitely stay here again :

C. Beth: We really liked it here. We were able to park our car in the small parking garage. When we checked in, the gentleman at the reception took extra time to explain to us where we shouldn't go, what we could experience and where, and examples of how we could spend our 1.5 days in San Francisco. We also received a free room upgrade so that we each had our own large bed. The room was clean and you could see the Golden Gate Bridge from the window. The hotel is on a major street, but you didn't hear much traffic. Bus stops were right next to the hotel and you could quickly get to the harbor. It's just a shame that there is no breakfast. But you have enough options in the area or you can buy something beforehand. If you have chilled food, you should have a cool box with you as there is no fridge in the room.Rooms: View of part of the Golden Gate Bridge, TV, comfortable beds, coffee maker, bathroom with shower and bathtub, cleanWalkability: We were even able to walk to Japantown after about half an hour. Continuing straight on the road you would have come to the water. Otherwise there are bus stops directly at the hotel.

Julia Goncharenko: Highly recommended!Pros:1. Great location: all major places of interest are within the walking distance2. Safe neighbourhood with good restaurants, bars and cafes3. Clean and cozy room4. Reasonable price5. Underground parkingCons:Nothing

Anna Firsova: We love staying at Chelsea inn, it's always very clean and free underground parking is perfect!

Joseph D Kittle: Kind and hard working staff. They were very good about follow up on a company billing question.Safety: The area is much safer than years past. Neighborhood on the way upWalkability: PLenty of coffee shops, breakfast places. Upscale cocktail bars. All within a block or two

g2g Brb: Chelsea Inn offers a comfort and an excellent location at a great value. The underground parking had about 12 or more spaces, and is secured with an electronic gate where I was safe parking for my entire stay. You will be located on Lombard Street, which is in walking distance to the historic end of Lombard street which is a MUST SEE. Also only a block from Chestnut St where the Apple Store is located amidst many restaurant and shopping options. It was also convenient to get to the wharf, golden gate, and financial district by Uber. Spacious rooms. You may need to request a fridge, as my room didn't have one. Very clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay again!

LIGIA SOUZA: Rooms: They have a TV, a conditioner, very clean and airy.Noteworthy details: There are no bathrooms in the rooms.

Erick A. Martinez Galeano: Good 👍

Chanel Nichole: I stayed here as a single female and felt perfectly safe. Are there a few homeless people on the street and around the area? Yes but as long as you keep it moving and watch your surroundings these people wont bother you. SF is just like any other city after all. Some of the comments make it seem like the area is skid row and skid row it is not lol. While the hotel is very much self service, I did see someone at the front desk, people constantly cleaning the bathrooms, and I even met the owner who was such a nice man. The staff is on top of any issue that may arise and are extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall I think this is a great budget hotel and the rooms are a bit basic but they are nice, clean, and well maintained. I do recommended reading about the hotel before booking so you know what you are getting into and aren't shocked by how its ran. I think this hotel is in a good central area, especially since you can walk up to Valencia street or 16th where most bars and restaurants are. I would definitely recommend this hotel as well as stay here again.

David Diez: . _ Location is great for those looking to get into the middle of SF, but Mission St is grittier, and it felt sketchy when I arrived Sunday evening. That said, it did not feel sketchy on weekdays / weeknights at this intersection.[Pros] + Spaces were consistently clean. + Shower areas were very nice and felt downright fancy

Antonette Dehaney: Lovely boutique hotel by JDV. I selected it for this reason. I was traveling alone and chose this for safety and cleanliness. They’ve have security and underground parking. The neighborhood was also walkable. I felt safe walking from there to Haight. LThe young lady who checked me in was professional and thorough. My room was bigger than I expected and very clean. I was also impressed by the bathroom amenities.I’ll absolutely return.

燃烧的饺子: I do not know how I missed this place for the past several years. It maybe they are newly added into the Marriott hotel chain. The location is more than good. The best neighborhood. Few blocks from the park. The lobby is very lovely. Our room is spacious and well cleaned. Somehow the wall between our bathroom and next door neighbor is so thin we overheated all her family dramas. The staff are nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will sure consider this place as our top choice next time to SF.

Joseph Freund: I hosted a meeting for 40 people at the bar area of the hotel and it was a great success. The service provided by Gil, Beth and the entire team was very friendly and responsive. The rooms are very well appointed. This is my local go to hotel for business and leisure. The location is excellent. I would strongly recommend the Laurel Inn for those visiting San FranciscoRooms: Clean, bright and cheery and comfortable furnishingsNearby activities: Walking distance to the beautiful Presidio and a stroll along Sacramento street shopping districtSafety: Very safe and walkableWalkability: Super safe and access to public transportationFood & drinks: The bar has crafty cocktails and small plates and appetizers

T2: Wifey choose this property to stay here for her birthday. I work in Norcal so I was already in town before she arrived. Checked in, the front desk lady was outstanding. I was sticker shocked but then again, I don't stay at 5 star hotels while I'm traveling for work. Location was nice, room was big, had a kitchenette, nice bathroom and good pillows. And don't forget to say hello to Snoop while you're there, he'll be sleeping under the desk.

Jerri Grunewald: Front desk person ,Gill, was very nice and got us a King room after first a two bed room. Great free coffee, cookies in the afternoon and good local suggestions. Very happy with the quiet neighborhood and view from our 3rd floor room. Safe in the room, walk in shower, make up mirror with outlet at the base, and lot of storage, robes and more!Rooms: Room had a safe, King very comfortable bed, good toiletries and makeup wipes, plenty of drawers, quiet on the 3rd floor and a great view out our window.

Nikhil: Now there is no place in sfo where you can be in abundance and grace.Other than two the Indian Consulate and this place maned by this charmingly seductive lady Ms Gill Eklof . I didn't know Nordic woman are so magnetic and classy and so so subtle. After all Sweden is next to germany. And well we know how clinical Germans are..there is no room for ruhaniyat.Anyways. So this hotel gives you freshly baked cookies and the if you are polite to the lady she will get you some high tea herself. The rooms are super luxury and chic ..very stylish..looks like an old classy holllywood, Marlene moonroe or jackie kennedy kind of a place. I am unable to place it.. its just so calming that all judgements cease to be.It gets you into a flow.If you are lucky you will the lady who will just randomly help you with 4 luggage weighing almost 65kgs.Then you meet the guy who mans it in the night and he is happy and married..beat that. He is a pilot and dreams of becoming richard bach. He is good. And then there is this another lady who is so beautiful and tall , I think she is like a pashtun..bold beautiful and very powerful and yeah very very helpful..Everyone likes to be treated nicely. But one has to start with being nice. Paying money doesn't make you entitled to good service. Be good and you will see the love flow in this place.Nearby activities: Safe. . Beautiful .. like how sfo was.

Sue Crocker: Very clean, great views from our room. Staff amazingSafety: Felt safe walking in the evenings. Close to great restaurantsWalkability: Easy to get around. Great neighborhood to views

DBradshaw25: . It was a little odd that the window in the room completely opened wide, but if you need air that's actually a nice option. I've just never seen that before in a hotel. I would definitely recommend this location for the price!!

Ashley Madden: and we got a ton of exercise in walking the neighborhood. A lot of hills but close to beautiful scenery with The Presidio and Palace of the Arts.Staff was very friendly, rooms were comfortable. They have coffee and tea all day, as well as the delicious cookies in the afternoon. Appreciated the water and ice machine in the lobby as well.Overall a great spot and we will look into another stay when back in town!

Anaïs S: The hotel is accessible by bus, it is even very easy to get there from the airport. The kitchen and common living space are very pleasant and enjoyable. The street is alive, so there is noise. Take earplugs.

Bonnie Yn: La Monarca was perfectly located within walking distance to the Moscone Center where GDC was held. The check-in process was smooth and seamless. Kasa even let me check in early at noon. My room and bed were clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and spacious basement with the kitchen, laundry, and lounge. Each morning, I would head downstairs for a nice, hot cup of tea. Whether from the lounge or the room, I maintained a strong wifi signal for work and video calls. Overall, my experience was great! Alan Martin: and comfortable sitting areas in the old parlour and dining room, outside in the private garden and on the rooftop. As a special mention the owner and manager provided the kind of service that made you feel more like a member of the family than a hotel guest. They really made you feel welcome and could not have done more to make my visit as trouble free and enjoyable as possible.I do want to mention that this is the real thing so if this is an issue for you there are lots of stairs!!Rooms: It's an old house converted into a hotel and the rooms are the same. It's comfortable but don't expect the layout of a Marriott. My room had a clawfoot tub with a great shower, but it was in the same room as my bed. Honestly, it was cute!Nearby activities: Walking distance to the vibrant residential areas south of Market Street. Great choice of local eateries on Mission and Valencia. Easy bike ride to Golden Gate park.

Brian Forrester: was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Eduardo Rodríguez: Many times there are no words to describe a place, I can only say that if you visit it you will be delighted.

Michael Effenberger: uncomfortable walking the streets. You'll see tents of homeless people on the sidewalk and a lot of people either using drugs or with the visible side effects of drug use.

Jennifer Noble: This house is absolutely stunning. The way that they decorate really keeps with the vintage feel. I also love the breakfast, the food is wonderful and available until 11:30! The dining area is so lovely and gives that bed and breakfast feel in a big city. The coffee is always flowing both day and night and it tastes amazing. Definitely check out the rooftop area if you get a chance, the sunset view is amazing. I can't wait to go back!

Sanela Hart: We loved our stay at the Inn!I stayed here 10 years ago and it was such a special experience, that I chose to bring my husband here on our way home from Australia recently. It still has that wonderful charm that I remember, the same service and no demise in the quality it offers to guests. They give that extra care and touch, which makes travel much more memorable and magical.Marty the owner is a wonderful host and will make you feel right at home.I really didn't want to leave the Inn. It reminds me of the magic travel offered in the good old days, where your spirit is ignited. The Inn is warm, charming, creative and peaceful. A special place to stay.Try the hot tub, see the view from the roof, and hang out in the common areas.Rooms: So much individual charm in any room that you pick. Beautiful, comfortable and romantic.Safety: Safe!Walkability: Close to many options in the Mission.Noteworthy details: Full of character, special touches and care for guests to enjoy a wonderful and unique stay.

It is centrally located to so many of the sites and attractions that we come to enjoy. The staff are top-notch and accommodating to anything that we may need. There is a restaurant as well as grab and go right in the lobby of the hotel. There are also a lot of vending machines including a CVS vending machine! The rooms are clean and comfortable with great views. The elevators are equipped with technology that only allow you to go to the floor that your room key is set for. I always feel safe with my family here. All in all it is a great hotel and I would recommend it to anyone staying in San Francisco.

krishna: Outstanding and safe hotel.Nothing to worry about your car.I liked the car entrance and exit process. no other person can’t access the parking lot and easy way to reach your hotel. Totally worthy hotel in sfo with affordable price.Safety: Safe and secure the parking lot.Awesome building plans.

Jerry Schnieder: Such a great hotel, we will definitely return. Helpful staff, and what a view!On our second visit, it was just as amazing of a stay. Filtered water in the workout room on floor 6!Rooms: We loved our room!Nearby activities: Right next to the California cable car line!

Leonardo Acioli: Great hotel! Clean and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again

Jixi Fox: that was impressive, the artwork was great, 6 elevators, amazing cleaning staff, pool, self washing machine and dryer

Chris C.: This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. It's very clean, with hard wood floors and a fully stocked minibar and snacks. The room was tastefully designed and relatively quiet aside from some occasional street noise. They supply ear plugs in the rooms if you're a light sleeper. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The woman I spoke to left the office and walked down the street with me a bit to show me where to go for the BART.

Ra Wi: You can hear the street noise and the nightly clean-up work on the street clearly. But it didn't bother us.

Giorgia Chirchiglia: , only 2 mins walk from union.Recommended

Louis Lombardo: Great hotel, nice and clean rooms, well located near union square.

Peter Matthews: + clean room, comfortable bed, and good HVAC system+ good location as it is walkable to Union Square, Moscone center, and Bart station- can hear a bit of external noise in room as the window insulation is not great- The wood frame around the bed is weird. Be careful or you may trip and hurt yourself- The sink in bath is very small and has a shelf plank halfway over it, making it a bit awkward to use the sink- mini fridge in the room was stuffed with overpriced drinks Hotel wants to sell you and literally no room to keep anything you would buy on your own.- Table in room is very small. There is a separate lounge for working more comfortably.

Nicole Bliss: This hotel was conveniently located and cozy. The rooms are small, but well laid out and nicely decorated, so it felt like plenty of space for two people for a long weekend. However, the elevator was not functional during our stay, meaning a lot of steps to climb with luggage. Also, the scent diffused in the lobby was a nice smell but very overpowering. As someone who is prone to getting migraines from strong perfumes, I felt like I had to keep the amount of time spent downstairs to a bare minimum.

Tim: A fantastic hotel - what people say about the scent is true this is one of the best smelling places on the planet. Breakfast gets the job done, ok coffee and good croissants. Rooms are good size and comfy bed and pillows. No shower door or barrier in bathroom so very intimate, but other rooms may be different. Pretty quiet after midnight we had no trouble sleeping 7 hours uninterrupted.

Adam Saltan: An exceptional hotel in the center of the city, pretty and charming. The Palihotel San Francisco is probably my favorite hotel in the world. It is unique, with its own character and soul, offering a lot of charm. The hotel is stylish, modern and very well decorated. The rooms are of good taste, clean, comfortable, and big enough. The bathrooms are great, with walk-in showers and nice soaps from Diptyque.Location is great too, right next to Union Square, enabling you to travel around very easily. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel too, which is very convenient. Regarding safety, I felt safe going out even being alone as it’s in a good area of the neighbourhood. It is my second stay here, and I’m sure I’ll come again.

Leslee Watt: Small rooms, but clean, charming, and very friendly staff. Good pastries in the mornings and a great location right on the cusp of that epic San Fran grit.

Leah Glavan: Great hotel, staff are super helpful with navigating the area and using public transportation. Took yellow BART line from SFO, hotel is just a block away. Close to Union Square and Chinatown. Booked through Travelzoo. No restaurant in the hotel currently 6/2024, but one opening soon. Lots of food places nearby. Fridge in room, coffee and tea too. Sipping hour with local wine & gin martinis, 5-6 pm. Tea & coffee available in lobby until 11 am. Elevator usually open and waiting on 1st floor which is convenient.

Steven Mejia: The room was adequate for the price of around $200 a night. Located near shopping and plenty of restaurants and bars.

Lloyd Tobias: Downtown San Francisco great updated renovation. Nice comfortable rooms with a hint of nostalgic remnant.Walkability: Great restaurants and shopping in business district.

Tamara Davis: My teenage daughter LOVED this place. It's a whole vibe!!! The rooms are a bit small though. Our flight and hotel reservation didn't line up so we needed to stay here one night. They were very accommodating and friendly. They stored our bags while we waited for our other hotel to be ready.Hindsight it would have been just as nice to stay here for our entire trip.Nearby activities: Close to everything no rental car needed.Walkability: Close to everything no rental car needed. Valet parking is expensive.Noteworthy details: Beautiful Art. Free wine and Marti happy hour daily

Lauren Matthies: , but everything else was delightful. We were able to check in early and the friendly front staff also held our bags after check out. The evening happy hour and the water bottles in the room were lovely amenities. There is a nice fitness

Macit Ege Ercan: I just can’t get over paying more than $60 a night for parking.

Sara Cooksey: I've stayed in many hotels while visiting San Francisco for business and personal trips. Galleria Park Hotel is my favorite. The staff were genuinely friendly and kind. The room was comfortable! The hotel has great amenities - in room espresso, refillable water bottles, coffee and tea in the morning, wine and cocktails in the evening, printing services, the garden terrace. The location is great - with plenty of restaurant options near by. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely book here again when I return!

Radwan Ktesh: I stayed in this hotel for a couple time. No wonder why I keep going back. The fact that the building build in 1911 it’s just amazing and the vibes of the building and the warmth it feels like home The lobby is beautiful the staff is very welcoming and helpful . My room is perfect the location is absolutely great and near to everything in walking distance, and if you stay here don’t forget the sipping our between 5 and 6 pm they offer red and white wine and the shocking fact this is where the martini 🍸 is invented!!! So they offer martinis and tell you the story about how it’s invented in the basement.I had great experience in this hotel and will be back again for sure

Karine Duhayer: Nicely decorated, clean, conveniently located hotel, helpful staff. We will keep good memories

magali harikiopoulo: Great to stay hereSafety: SafeWalkability: Easy Access

Christina Schultz: This hotel is in a more quiet neighbor which I felt very comfortable walking around by myself. It's within walking distance from several more touristy areas and very close to a variety of food options.Regarding the hotel itself, I was upgraded from a King bedroom to a suite which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy with great pillows. The complementary breakfast is basic continental breakfast which is set up as a "grab-n-go" station next to the check in desk. It was super nice they had coffee and drinks available in the lobby all day.

Julie Ward: We visit San Francisco quite a bit, and have stayed all over the City, but we keep coming back to Hotel Del Sol. Our kids loved it when they were little and we love it just as much now that they're in college and we're on our own. It's bright, cheerful, comfortable and clean. The staff is excellent, very welcoming. The gated courtyard and secure parking makes it feel cozy and safe, even though the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. I loved sitting near the pool in the morning with my coffee and chatting with other guests around the firepit at night. You really can't beat the location-so many great restaurants, shops & bars a short walk away, as well as the beautiful Presidio Tunnel Tops park. We loved wandering around the neighborhood, finding our favorite corner store to buy wine & snacks and stopping by a great old-school bar next to the Presidio to watch a Giants game. Hotel Del Sol is a fantastic home base in SF!

Matthew Sundt: Location was idealRooms: Room 101 was convenient.Walkability: Perfect location relative to all of Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow and Marina district.
