Mary H. Kathleen Pollard: One of the most beautiful parks in California. So many paths for walking, biking and roller skating, Japanese Gardens, De Young Museum, Academy of Science, rose garden and much more! Great place to bring your dog, too. Also, vendors selling pretzels , hot dogs, ice cream and drinks.

Lluis Higini Melero Peris: Modified._A few years ago we were in San Francisco taking advantage of a stay at a relative's house in the city. One of the places that could not be missed was Golden Gate Park. We visited the park on several occasions, lucky to be staying on Balboa Street. It has an extension of 5 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide, doing it in one day seems like an impossible mission, which is why the park has minibuses that travel through it. At one end of the park, delimiting the beach, are the two windmills on each side. During the various visits to the park we discovered new beautiful and unique corners, such as the Japanese garden decorated with pagodas and bonsai trees, with the area where a herd of American buffalo is located, as well as museums, botanical gardens and sports areas. There are endless things in that park. I can only describe it as excellent. I took photos of almost every corner, and since this park offers a lot, it is appropriate to make individual reviews.

Jota Ce: , greeting the bison... If you travel from east to west you end up in the sea.

Salma Bakr: Amazing park by all measures. A slightly larger version of Central Park in NYC. Tons to see and do. You can easily spend a full day there on weekends or weekdays. My kids especially like the bison paddock and the California Academy of Sciences. And I love the De Young museum and the botanical garden.

Berrin Cantez: It's a wonderful park, just be careful of the grass after it rains, some areas can be deeper and muddy than they appear.

Mon Sin-A (Mon-Si-A): Great place to be at. There are paid parking and street parking. Prepare jacket as it get cold.

Athira Raj: Great park to walk and scenic. Food trucks and event

Maggy C: It is a large and beautiful park where there is a lot to explore and enjoy. Trails and meadows, Academy of Sciences, Botanical Garden, Japanese Garden, Plant Conservatory, courts, sports, Academy of Arts, food carts, everything makes an exceptional place to have a special day for adults and children.

Wayman Wong: Hellsman HallowDog-friendliness: On leashPicnic area: Fully used

J M: The grounds are huge. The Japanese tea garden is gorgeous and tended with love. The area where they have live music had no grass and was pretty bare

Matty B: San Francisco’s iconic city park is truly one of my favorite things about living in the city. It’s huge and fully of little, hidden treasures! I go walking here at least twice a week and I’m constantly finding new things.Public restrooms: Yes Picnic tables: Yes …

Jennifer Keyes: It was beautiful!! My man went into the water !!!

Adrian Gaino: Smooth Spot

Timothy B. (Tim Bob): Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on leash only.

Joal Brudvik: off and on rain but that didn't stop the die hard swimmers...dolphin club I'm guessing. I count 13 in the water

Alejandro A. Carlos: I had such a good time with my family there.

Kenton Kwok: Great view for fleet week

K L: The water here is very chilly all year long. Some people go swimming, but you have to be very serious to try that. Most visitors to this park are just walking through on the path between Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge. This is a good place to watch special events on the bay like the 4th of July fireworks and the Blue Angels air show.

David Miro Llopis: Very safe place to swim open water.

Amanda M: We visited this park a few years back. The kids had an absolute blast. Until one broke her leg. Dad was taking littlest down on his lap and middle decided she wanted to ride that way too. Nearly all the way down her foot fell off his lap and got caught between the slide wall and dad’s leg. Twisted and snapped her bone. Luckily there’s a children’s hospital close by. Still a positive memory overall for them. They loved how there was a pile of cardboard for use and the slides have drops so it was very exciting. Once you get going you’re on the ride til the end. And the neighborhood and park itself is really adorable. A true gem.

Deborrah Santillan: What a Lovely Day 😍🤩

L Dilley: Super cool slide and community garden. It's closed on Mondays though. They put gates up so you can't use the slides.

Greg Groeneveld: It's a long concrete slide with a nice view. Why not? Bring cardboard to sit on.

Jenny Lie: Super funny. If you walk there from Castro station you can also take a look at the beautiful area.

Tara Sosa (Tara Boo): 😝☆PARK CLOSED SUNSET-SUNRISE☆☆Signs say☆

Mudgett.33 On IG: Fun Place. Be sure to bring cardboard. Sprinkle sand at the top for extra speed. I've got scars from this place but I wear them with honor. Use the equipment as intended and you will be ok.

Adnan Khalil: Cute, tiny park! There is nothing to go out of the way for

Wally Yau: Kids love the concrete slide. Be sure to bring a card box for them to sit on.

Alfredo Cisneros: Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Go Giants!

Richard Gagnon: Very beautiful San Francisco Giants Stadium. We were treated to quite a spectacle with the weekend honoring veterans. Well done!

Aaron Hall: Tremendous atmosphere. Great seats and big walk areas. Food choices or on either end of the stadium and have a great assortment. The price is extremely steep and plan on spending at least 30 to $40 for food and a drink. Premium beer was over $17.

Allen Roch: The views from this ballpark is absolutely gorgeous.

matix mulhern: Very fun as always the views are ao nice and beautiful

Max A: Really fun experience, awesome view of the water. GIANTS ON TOP. Food is okay, kinda expensive but what do you expect? All of the seats are good, and it is a really immersive experience.

Karen Larson: Great visit, crowd management at the escalators, especially in the tight view level area was a problem. Love the park though!

bleacher mike: Gorgeous but pricey food, parking, and souvenirs

Corey Vestal: Fun day at the ball park. Took my 8 year old for the first time. They have slides for kids that are under 14 years old, and a place for littles that are under 6 to play wiffle ball. On Sundays, kids under 14 years old are able to run the bases after the game. The game had interactive crowd activities throughout which was great for my son. They have lots of food options and restrooms. They don’t accept cash, so plan ahead. Also can’t bring backpacks. Overall, great day and a good experience. Helpful staff made the experience one to remember. They also have a 50/50 raffle available.

LUIS MARAIMA: Incredible stadium, with all the amenities and the best views of the land and its surroundings... A work of art

Rosanne Stoney: Best park by far 👏 great game! Go YANKEES!!!!

Dr. Santiago Mesa Ginecólogo: A very special place!!! Excellent family plan

Juan Francisco Esteva Martinez: It is a nice, peaceful place to meditate and contemplate the beauty of mother nature.

Albert Wong: I like how the scenery transport you to Japan and make you feel like living in the past where bonsai trees surround the temples, shrines, and ponds. Their landscape is a great place for anyone that considered to play a honeymoon or romantic date, should visit this garden to enhance the sentimentality and bondage.

Dre Dre: It's beautiful

Lluis Higini Melero Peris: Expanded.- Taking advantage of our stay at a relative's house, one of the places to visit was Golden Gate Park, walking through it we arrived at the Japanese garden. This garden has something to say about it, it was originally built as part of an International Exposition in 1894, it is the oldest public Japanese garden in the US, a complex with many paths, ponds, pagodas, a Japanese tea house and a bridge. Truly a luxury to be able to walk through it firsthand, a very beautiful atmosphere, an experience that even today, seeing the photos I took many, makes me remember beautiful moments. I accompany 1 video.

Drew Siebert: This place was nice, but frankly a little underwhelming for the price. It is small and the area by the two main buildings was closed off for renovations.

Danielle Richards: Beautiful gardens. The one area with red structures was closed for construction/development while visiting.

Lu jim: A nice experience! For a while he is transported back in time to Japan to a beautiful small park, full of love for nature. The woodwork is very well detailed. The trees cared for with a lot of love and respect.Beautiful small lagoons with birds. There are local birds that harmoniously complete the beautiful garden. 💮🌸💮🍁🌳

Jota Ce: Beautiful Japanese garden. Zen atmosphere. Beautiful bonsai forest. During spring with the cherry blossoms it is spectacular. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 09:00 to 10:00 it is free.

Felix Gago: This is place is a gem..and if your a resident you pay nada for your entrance..but you already knew that

Tyrell Scott: A nice place to get a wide view of the wharf, alcatraz and the golden gate bridge. The pier itself is pretty dilapidated.

Davy K: Nice spot to take in Hyde St Pier, Maritime History Park, Alcatraz Island and Golden Gate Bridge all at once. But wind is so strong out here. It's always not a bad idea to bring a jacket with you when visiting. Also, fences block out a closer look at Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, what a pity.

Sarina L: The location for tonight's sunset run is so beautiful, with the Golden Gate Bridge on the left, Alcatraz in front, Bay Bridge, Telegraph Tower, and the harbor on the right. The whole shore is golden! Just flash a few pictures on your phone, put your SLR on your back and come back another day!

Eating here can be more expensive than usual, but if you walk a little further you can find places with good options at more affordable prices. It is interesting to read the signs distributed throughout the port about the history of its construction.
