Kathleen Pollard: One of the most beautiful parks in California. So many paths for walking, biking and roller skating, Japanese Gardens, De Young Museum, Academy of Science, rose garden and much more! Great place to bring your dog, too. Also, vendors selling pretzels , hot dogs, ice cream and drinks.

Lluis Higini Melero Peris: Modified._A few years ago we were in San Francisco taking advantage of a stay at a relative's house in the city. One of the places that could not be missed was Golden Gate Park. We visited the park on several occasions, lucky to be staying on Balboa Street. It has an extension of 5 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide, doing it in one day seems like an impossible mission, which is why the park has minibuses that travel through it. At one end of the park, delimiting the beach, are the two windmills on each side. During the various visits to the park we discovered new beautiful and unique corners, such as the Japanese garden decorated with pagodas and bonsai trees, with the area where a herd of American buffalo is located, as well as museums, botanical gardens and sports areas. There are endless things in that park. I can only describe it as excellent. I took photos of almost every corner, and since this park offers a lot, it is appropriate to make individual reviews.

Jota Ce: , greeting the bison... If you travel from east to west you end up in the sea.

Salma Bakr: Amazing park by all measures. A slightly larger version of Central Park in NYC. Tons to see and do. You can easily spend a full day there on weekends or weekdays. My kids especially like the bison paddock and the California Academy of Sciences. And I love the De Young museum and the botanical garden.

Berrin Cantez: It's a wonderful park, just be careful of the grass after it rains, some areas can be deeper and muddy than they appear.

Mon Sin-A (Mon-Si-A): Great place to be at. There are paid parking and street parking. Prepare jacket as it get cold.

Athira Raj: Great park to walk and scenic. Food trucks and event

Maggy C: It is a large and beautiful park where there is a lot to explore and enjoy. Trails and meadows, Academy of Sciences, Botanical Garden, Japanese Garden, Plant Conservatory, courts, sports, Academy of Arts, food carts, everything makes an exceptional place to have a special day for adults and children.

Wayman Wong: Hellsman HallowDog-friendliness: On leashPicnic area: Fully used

J M: The grounds are huge. The Japanese tea garden is gorgeous and tended with love. The area where they have live music had no grass and was pretty bare

Matty B: San Francisco’s iconic city park is truly one of my favorite things about living in the city. It’s huge and fully of little, hidden treasures! I go walking here at least twice a week and I’m constantly finding new things.Public restrooms: Yes Picnic tables: Yes …

Javier Santos Martínez: A very nice place to walk and get lost in the dozens of shops there. Eating here can be more expensive than usual, but if you walk a little further you can find places with good options at more affordable prices. It is interesting to read the signs distributed throughout the port about the history of its construction. In the sea lion area there are also small infographics about these animals that gather there freely.

Gül Ecevit: Very nice atmosphere and fun places

Jonatan Lopez: We loved it.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Kamalasan Reddy VB: Pier 39 is a lively and popular destination in San Francisco, located along the city's waterfront. It offers a variety of attractions, including shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. A highlight is the colony of sea lions that often sunbathe on the docks. Visitors can enjoy street performances, visit the Aquarium of the Bay, and get great views of Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a family-friendly spot and a must-see for tourists exploring the city.

A Lechuga: It's a great place to have fun and check out some wildlife like seagulls and sea lions. One seagulls name was Alberto and he hung out with our group throughout lunch. His wingspan was more majestic than imagined and he even screeched with a member of our group from excitement. If you need a tour guide call Alberto!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

WL Tan: This one of our highlights in our SF visit. Appreciate the audio tour. Even though much was said about how terrible the place was, I think Alcaltraz waa much better than some prisons in South East Asia. I recommend that this is a must-go place when in SF.

James Baker: A must place to visit if in San Francisco. There is no admission to the island, however there is a fee to take the boat to the island. The views from Alcatraz are amazing. A FYI there is a lot of walking on the island, a lot of up hill. There are some people movers but it's first come first serve. There is an audio tour of the cell house which is very interesting. Plan about half a day between the ferry to and from and touring the island.

Javier Santos Martínez: This monument to the city's volunteer fire department is worth a visit when in town.More for the stairs that take you to the top, and the views that accompany you along the way and once you reach the tower itself than for the monument itself. The flowers and plants that grow in the gardens through which the different stairs climb to the tower. The ones on Greenwich Street are highly recommended. For $7 you can go to the top of the tower and see the entire city with 360° views. On a clear day you can see the Golden Gate, Alcatraz and even hear the sea lions in the harbor.

SeokHun KIM: The view of San Francisco from the top is beautiful. However, the worst part was having to walk up to the 13th floor due to a broken elevator...Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Anond Kulthanmanusorn: I'm a bit tired from walking. Driving here is easy. Going up the building costs 10 USD. When I go the elevator is broken so I don't want to walk up. Taking photos of the surrounding scenery is beautiful.

Thomas Lohmann: An excellent view of the city from above, but the tower itself is also worth seeing. Beautiful old murals inside.

Alex Li: No elevator but still worth climbing up 245 steps for the view

Ingrid Hill: Took a few minutes and made the $10.00 investment to climb the Coit Tower. Telegraph Hill gives you great views of the city so it was worth it. Keep in mind, 90 year old elevator is often out of service, as was the case today...so that means stairs...13 stories worth. Yes youll feel the burn when you are done! The first two levels have interesting art work on the walls that was nice to look at as well. Signs all say no weekend parking without a zone A pass though 90% of the parked cars did not have this pass and several locals told us that we would be fine for a few minutes to climb. The day was clear and perfect. Take the few minutes and give it a look-see. You are probably only in for 20 minute investment of time for the stop.

Ricardo Gonzalez: A very interesting place with history and very beautiful viewsVisited on Public holiday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Елена Комиссарчук: A pleasant place to relax. It's beautifully quiet, it's trendy to go boating on the lake, and there are golf courses. There is a restaurant with a bar

Antonella Di Francia: Always a nice short visit thru. Bathroom accommodation always good. Breath-taking views of nature. Good grills for quick barbecuing and enjoying the boating teams row.Restrooms: Very important to be out and not worry about not being able to enjoy yourself.Picnic area: Tables picnic grills water faucet

Mark Loftin: Clean well kept park near TPC golfRestrooms: clean!

Bathrooms by the boathouse even have hooks in them! There are also water faucets sprinkled throughout that side of the lake, too.Restrooms: There are only porta potties at most entrances. However there is a nicer bathroom near the boathouse on the west side of the park.Picnic area: Picnic area near brotherhood way entrance after walking down the north path and also near Harding Park entrance.

John Siliski: Great dog park at the bottom, but sadly the top of it with the boulders is still closed

Duncan Waples: Lots of steps but saw a coyote. Great view of the city

Mitchell Hanson: Very rocky, bare park with many rocks and steep climbing. Many of the trails to the top were blocked off, making only more difficult trails to navigate available. However, you get a clear view of the entire city from this one location which, with no entrance fee or lengthy trail up, is pretty incredible. Would recommend going at least once to see the entire city in this capacity!

K B: Really great views of the entire city from this park!

Bob A: The night view of city is great

Cynthia Shrauner: Beautiful space with great views of SF. Tennis courts, pickleball, basketball courts, kids playground with slides and swings and sand. Great spaces for dogs to play too. Not a lot of parking.
