JOSE MORENO: Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view

Bryce: Wonderful staff, from the Managers to room service and cleaning. Great stay, very attentive. Not a bad walk to Oracle Field. Coffee shop next door is great, too.Rooms: Beds were super comfy. Room was very clean and modern.Food & drinks: Mini fridge had a nice selection.

Ellaria Tyrell: I was a guest at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. The hotel is in an amazing location, and its guest rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely choose this hotel for my next visit to San Francisco.

Daniel X. O'Neil: Fancy as you think it is.

Camille Decarlo: Service: 5/5

Linda Hester: We had an amazing stay. This is a historic mansion with lots of history and beautiful artwork. The rooms are quaint but comfortable with modern bathrooms and amazing beds and linens. Breakfast is nice. The location is excellent for business or arts near the Civic Center. The area is clean, safe and nice - entirely different from the Tenderloin which is nearby. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance. Amanda was amazing and saw to all of our needs.

Howard Shin: , don't forget there are 12 different rooms all unique and themed. Experience has always been wonderful.Great location and easy parking to find nearby. As soon as you enter inside this Victorian building, you can feel the history and service to welcome. What we loved:Clean rooms, soft beds, felt peaceful, rooms having their own individualistic style, Molton Brown bath products, and service has always been friendly and sharp. We have no complaints about this spot, it has been a beautiful hotel and service for us. Great for family out of town or a weekend getaway in SF. Again, great experience!

A. M.: authentic history and art + better lattes than any other hipster coffee shop

Jason Gallaher: This converted mansion was cute as all get out, clean, and centrally located. The customer service was excellent, too. I got in extremely early, but since a room was ready, they let me check in so I wouldn’t have to linger in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again. Just a heads up if you’re looking for a place with a full restaurant and 24 hour room service, this hotel doesn’t have that, but it’s near so many restaurants that that was never an issue.

Sophia Liu & Henry Demasco: with several crates worth of wedding-related supplies, and their staff helped us bring it all up to our room. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and unique. Our room came with an amazing soaking tub that we enjoyed the morning of our wedding and best smelling toiletries we've ever found at a hotel. Despite the level of excitement we felt for our wedding we slept beautifully. The handsome writing desk was the perfect spot for us to write our thank you notes to our wedding vendors. Not sure why some reviews claim there isn't a breakfast? While the breakfast doesn't include hot items, the selection was great and of very high quality - fresh fruit, sandwiches, coffee, pastries, and we left happy and full.We look forward to returning for our anniversary someday!

Kat Ellis-Guardiola: This is a beautiful mansion - the attention to detail in the decor and service was phenomenal. Special thanks to Amanda for her hospitality and kindness!Walkability: The hotel is in a central location within walking distance of very tasty food!

Susan Noerdlinger: 10 Stars for The Mansion on Sutter. I was extremely grateful to discover this beautiful, well located, super clean and lovely boutique hotel on a recent trip to San Francisco. The ambience was truly calming and elegant, the bed and bedding were of excellent quality and super comfortable, and the carefully presented breakfast was just right. But most importantly, the staff was exceptional. During an 8 night stay, I was fortunate to meet most of the staff, and Amit, Amanda, Yash, and Nina all went out of their way to accommodate the needs of the guests in a genuine and very thoughtful way. I have rarely met a hotel staff that cared as much about the comfort of their guests and treated their guests with as much respect than this group of fine people. They are a wonderful team and all are invested in their work at the Hotel Mansion on Sutter. Thank you to each of you.

Kim S: We loved our stay at the Mansion on Sutter. Gorgeous rooms and the service is top notch. Secure parking was a huge relief-we coukd load and unload at ease. We walked to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square and loved it. Best bed I've ever slept on! I'd love to know what kind it was- I don't think I've ever been so comfortable away from home.

Paul Schraeder: My stay at the Fairmont was amazing. The best customer service - thanks Antoine and staff! The hotel is central to everything and just three blocks from Chinatown so great food is just steps away.Rooms: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Great value …

Scott Bartels: Staff is nothing but perfect. Had sticker shock for the price of breakfast that was so so. And again when we got drinks at the bar 48$ for 2 drinks???????Rooms: FabulousNearby activities: About a mile and a half from most activities.Safety: I just feel safe until a Gaza protester came into the resturant

Thorsten Knoop: Location: 5/5

Pam C: Just stopped in to pick niece but this place looks AWESOME. Just walking around the main floor is stellar.Noteworthy details: Statues of all the music/rock stars that have stayed, including Beatles, Bowie, etc and a great statue outside of Tony Bennett

Tenzin Subhar: Amazing experience and exceptional front desk service, especially front desk manager Ashley, she was so helpful, kind and though. When she found out it was our son’s Birthday weekend, she made it extra special by sending him a personal birthday card and a gift. Everyone in the hotel was so nice and helpful, very clean and the location was close to everything especially the cable cars. Loved it here and will definitely visit again.

David Kagel: We had a perfect stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the property. From the helpful doormen to the front desk and restaurant we enjoyed every interaction with the staff. The breakfast quality was top notch and so was the service. We had a room with a stunning view on the 44th floor that was beautiful. The shower, and bed and towels and robes were all great. The location is wonderful and easy to walk or grab a quick uber. Can't wait to return!

Rob Stevenson: First time staying here and it was excellent. Great rooms and service. Will stay again.Food & drinks: Bar area was good. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent.

Edwin Chu: What use to be the Mandarin Oriental years ago has now been turned to the Four Seasons. The hotel has great views, city view room. Seamless service. Room service for breakfast was great, we aren't very demanding but the gentleman was courteous and asked how we wanted the table to be setup. Though if I am honest the chairs in the room aren't the best for the seating arrangement for it. But being able to enjoy a meal in the room looking out the window is wonderful. Location is a hit or miss depending on what your itinerary. In the middle of Financial district away from more popular places for tourist in the city.

Chris C.: This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. It's very clean, with hard wood floors and a fully stocked minibar and snacks. The room was tastefully designed and relatively quiet aside from some occasional street noise. They supply ear plugs in the rooms if you're a light sleeper. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The woman I spoke to left the office and walked down the street with me a bit to show me where to go for the BART.

Ra Wi: You can hear the street noise and the nightly clean-up work on the street clearly. But it didn't bother us.

Giorgia Chirchiglia: , only 2 mins walk from union.Recommended

Louis Lombardo: Great hotel, nice and clean rooms, well located near union square.

Peter Matthews: + clean room, comfortable bed, and good HVAC system+ good location as it is walkable to Union Square, Moscone center, and Bart station- can hear a bit of external noise in room as the window insulation is not great- The wood frame around the bed is weird. Be careful or you may trip and hurt yourself- The sink in bath is very small and has a shelf plank halfway over it, making it a bit awkward to use the sink- mini fridge in the room was stuffed with overpriced drinks Hotel wants to sell you and literally no room to keep anything you would buy on your own.- Table in room is very small. There is a separate lounge for working more comfortably.

Nicole Bliss: This hotel was conveniently located and cozy. The rooms are small, but well laid out and nicely decorated, so it felt like plenty of space for two people for a long weekend. However, the elevator was not functional during our stay, meaning a lot of steps to climb with luggage. Also, the scent diffused in the lobby was a nice smell but very overpowering. As someone who is prone to getting migraines from strong perfumes, I felt like I had to keep the amount of time spent downstairs to a bare minimum.

Tim: A fantastic hotel - what people say about the scent is true this is one of the best smelling places on the planet. Breakfast gets the job done, ok coffee and good croissants. Rooms are good size and comfy bed and pillows. No shower door or barrier in bathroom so very intimate, but other rooms may be different. Pretty quiet after midnight we had no trouble sleeping 7 hours uninterrupted.

Adam Saltan: An exceptional hotel in the center of the city, pretty and charming. The Palihotel San Francisco is probably my favorite hotel in the world. It is unique, with its own character and soul, offering a lot of charm. The hotel is stylish, modern and very well decorated. The rooms are of good taste, clean, comfortable, and big enough. The bathrooms are great, with walk-in showers and nice soaps from Diptyque.Location is great too, right next to Union Square, enabling you to travel around very easily. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel too, which is very convenient. Regarding safety, I felt safe going out even being alone as it’s in a good area of the neighbourhood. It is my second stay here, and I’m sure I’ll come again.

Leslee Watt: Small rooms, but clean, charming, and very friendly staff. Good pastries in the mornings and a great location right on the cusp of that epic San Fran grit.

Sierra Foxtrot: A good hotel with attentive and friendly staff. It has a central location due to its proximity to a large shopping center. From here you can explore San Francisco on foot. The modern rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows through which you have a good view. There is a luggage storage service for all guests who arrive early or wish to leave in the evening.

Q Wer: comfy, low-anxiety, memorable, & smooth. :

Jarred Capellman: Hands down the best hotel in the world. My wife and I have stayed here numerous times over the last year going to various events in San Francisco. The location is perfect to get around to everything we goto. The rooms have always been super clean, large and luxurious. You really can't beat the floor to glass ceiling views of the bay.The staff has always been courteous even when we have checked in at midnight. The buffet breakfast is also the best breakfast, lots of keto options.Walkability: Giants stadium, Warriors Stadium, Ferry Building and SF Symphony are all within walking distance. Not to mention Enterprise Brewery, Rize Up Bakery and Black Hammer Brewery.

Hortencia Mayorga: Hotel highlights Kid-friendly

James Gilbert: Had the great pleasure of staying in a room with Club lounge access for 4 nights recently with a 20th floor view of seismic proportions. A true treat. Luis and the rest of the lounge staff were as one would hope - helpful, attentive, and great to interact with. The food and beverages were of excellent quality, and the views also from the lounge and the patio were terrific. Do not hesitate to stay here, especially if you opt for the Club lounge. The location can be dicey but that's basically the entire city. So, be a little cautious but do still come.

Neil V: It's a massive hotel conveniently located near all the popular attractions, including Pier 39 and the Golden Gate. Rooms are decent, but wifi isn't free. It's about $14.99/day for non-members but $1/day for Marriott members. The Roof top bar on the 39th floor was amazing. Also, if you want to save some money then don't buy food or drink from the hotel as they could be expensive. There is Target supermarket just across the road.Rooms: The room was serviced daily and was very clean and tidy. Water pressure in the shower isn't that great, though.Nearby activities: San Francisco shopping mall, Target, Star Bucks, Super Burgers, Sales Force Tower. Macy's, Cheesecake Factory

Sangwon Seo: I heard that the Tenderloen area is a crime-ridden area, so I was looking for a hotel just outside the border, and I was looking for a good value hotel that was close to both Powell Station and Union Square, and came across this hotel.First of all, it was comfortable because the door was automatic, and the female employee named “yesha” was a K-drama fan, so I think she was friendlier to Koreans. I would like to thank Yesha once again for being kind enough to understand my strange Konglish language even though I cannot speak English, and I believe that he will be kind to other travelers as well. I spent a few days mostly sleeping and traveling around, but the location was good so I had no problems finding the accommodation. There were fewer homeless people than I thought, and even if there were, I just had to avoid them.I had a good travel experience. thank you

Sarava S: Rooms: Comfortable and practice for business tripsSafety: Secure place.Walkability: Lots of restaurants and bars around

David Nagel-Nunez: Very cute hotel! Everything is pineapple themed, rooms and beds are very confortable, staff is helpful, and location is great downtown. We did have a rocky start at first - the air conditioner in our room was broken, and they knew about it but didn't tell us. So we were really hot for our first night, but they did give us a little discount for the inconvenience and moved us to another room.Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay at this adorable hotel! One recommendation - in the about section in this Google page, it says that they have a fitness center, but this is not true - it needs to be updated!Rooms: Very comfortableNearby activities: Downtown area and very walkableSafety: Safe but a lot of homelessWalkability: Downtown area and lots of restaurants nearbyFood & drinks: No breakfast but they give you a complimentary drinkNoteworthy details: They have a cute dog in the room that you can "adopt" or buy if you want for $25.

Christina Krause: .the room is equipped perfectly. Very friendly and helpful staff. The neigbourhood area is "demanding" and "challenging" due to the soccal flashpoint of this area. But opposite the hotel you will find a bar

Aunika Kost: The staff were all very kind and helpful. The rooms were more on the small side, but very nice and clean. At check in, my husband and I were given free drinks vouchers for the little cafe/bar they had in the lobby. The only downside to staying here is the location. Being in San Francisco right in Union Square, the traffic and homeless population can be a lot at times, but despite the location the staff keeps the property, inside and out, very clean. The lobby doors also lock at 7pm every night requiring key card access to get in, making the entire building more secure. I 10/10 recommend of you plan on coming to San Francisco.

Monica Izzard: and given our room. I initially did not notice the room was not the one we had reserved as we were tired but after about an hour I realised and promptly went downstairs. It was then explained that the room we had booked was unavailable due to air conditioning problems which is fair enough and that we had been given a bigger room and a slight refund

Thomas Manolis: “The Calista Organic Hotel is a great place to stay! Clean, great location and great customer service, all this packed in a best value for money approach. Before arrival, the hotel’s personnel stored my luggage until the check in time. The room was very clean and fresh, the bathroom was contemporary and convenient, even equipped with shampoo/conditioner and body gel. There was a small fridge, perfect to keep your beverages or meals cold, there was also a microwave oven to warm up your food if needed. A red bottle of wine, was also a nice gesture where you don’t find that often. There was cable tv installed, and the internet connectivity was good enough for flawless VPN work, but also to be used for streaming services at the same time. Really glad that there was a desk and a chair, where I could work with a laptop in convenient way. Very easy to check in, you receive an e-mail with detailed instructions, and the smart locks, make it easy to get into the hotel 24/7, without relying to human intervention. You type your pin codes and you ‘re in quickly and safely. The bed was very comfortable, and sheets and towels were soft and of good quality. This is not a cheap hotel. This is a value for money hotel in a very good location, surrounded by many restaurants, public transport is close, even one of the iconic SF cable train stop is very close. Last but not least, the hotel’s personnel were super helpful during all the different stages of my stay. People were there while I had to check in, helped a lot during my stay by providing useful tips about the area in general and on top of everything organized my departure from the SFO until the last detail. There’s also free bottled water and chocolates at the reception. Highly recommended!!! Had a great experience overall.”

D W: My wife and I stayed in San Francisco for a total of 6 days at the Calista Organic Hotel. The service in the hotel was very good, the receptionist was always very friendly and helpful. A free transfer from the hotel to the airport was even organized on the day of departure.Unfortunately, the rooms are anything but comfortable and do not look like the pictures on the website. The rooms are disproportionately small and are a maximum of 10 square meters. In addition, there are no cutlery, cups or a kettle in the kitchenette; you will only find a refrigerator and a microwave. The location of the hotel is good, bus stops right on the doorstep. Line 49 runs every 10-15 minutes towards Fishermans Warf.On California Street you can easily get on one of the 3 cable car lines and travel across the city. On Polk Street just around the corner you will find many small shops, bars and restaurants. Supermarkets are also within walking distance. All in all, San Francisco is a beautiful city and the trip there was an incredibly great experience, even if the tiny room dampened our mood a bit at the beginning.P.s. We were actually only in the hotel to sleep.

Lina Bobrova: Hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the town making it very easy to walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. You have everything necessary in your room such as fridge, microwave, corkscrew, shampoos and shower gels. The staff is extremely helpful and nice with any request. Code locks are convenient, so you don’t have to carry around the actual key. They always offer water and some small snacks at the reception. Highly recommended for the great value for money.Rooms: The rooms have all necessary equipment and are clean.Safety: The staff is always on site, the doors are locked with the codes. The area is safe and pretty crowded any time of the day.

Marco Villanueva: Warren helped us when we were looking for wedding venues. Gave us some details about the area and gave us great customer service. Well manneredThank you! Request if he can be one of our valet for our wedding

Shirley Kay Smith: Location may be less than desirable, but mainly people OUTSIDE of The Proper Hotel area who are unfortunately afflicted by drug addiction, but leave you alone and are non violent. The Proper Hotel is an absolute Oasis with beautiful eclectic design, amazing food and great service! Cristian was always cheerful and ready to help at the front door, we appreciate him! This is our third stay and we will be back! 👏☺️

Nicole Newman: The doorman, Adiel was extremely friendly! As soon as he opened the door, I was greeted with the most infectious smile! He assisted me with obtaining me access to my Uber. The hotel overall has been a pleasure!Rooms: Cute & quaintNearby activities: Access to the entire citySafety: Felt very self!Food & drinks: DeliciousNoteworthy details: Friendly and hospitable

Mariah Dillard: The rooms and service here are absolutely stunning! We got a complimentary glass of champagne when we arrived. Checking in was super easy! The rooms are amazing and you get quality amenities and toiletries. The location is tricky because it’s super close to a lot of attractions and fun areas but directly outside of the hotel there are unfortunately many unhoused folks and sometimes in the evening it can get loud. Still a great experience and I know there’s not much they can do about the homelessness. I would still definitely recommend that people stay here - it’s quite lovely!Rooms: Rooms are classy and luxurious!Walkability: Very walkable to different neighborhoods!

Marc-Aurèle Besner: Beautiful hotel, the art deco decor is elegant and the service is excellent 👌Rooms: The room is a beautiful, clean, great variety of care products and full mini barFood & drinks: The rooftop bar is awesome, with a great view and great cocktail

Amanda Peters: Great stay here. All the staff was friendly. Even better, it seemed like they enjoyed their job. The room was smallish but very clean. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled of gardenia. The soap was great. Attached restaurant very tasty.

John Emmett Patterson: Proper is right down the street from my house. Proper is chic without being beyond grasp. I live for a dark hotel for the romantic ossibilities and because I have never seen a child in the hotel ever.Their Concierge service is flawless. The valet is so attentive. And i've seen them arrange unique vehicles such as a 1967 cadillac el dorado convertible for rent. It was for a couple to do a coastal tour. This hotel is dripping in hospitality. The only drawback to the proper hotel is that it's in my neighborhood, a neighborhood that was compared to the slums of Sri Lanka not too long ago in a local paper And I personally believe that was an understatement period don't hesitate to book yourself into the Proper, it's totally worth it.

Lynn Lomibao: Warren is the dude! I was traveling solo, and he made me feel so safe and taken care of. A true asset to this hotel! The hotel itself is gorgeous — every detail a work of art and also functional. Charmaine’s, the rooftop bar, is beautiful, with a lovely menu for both drinks and food. The neighborhood might be off-putting for some. But being from LA, it wasn’t a big adjustment for me. I will definitely be back!

Carlos Gongora: Good customer service I recommend itFood & drinks: Food and drinks is good service

Mai Vang: I would note is that walls are pretty thin so if you’re visiting on a busy weekend then you will likely be able to hear people at night/in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!

Iris: My stay was pretty good, it was about what I expected. They had all the basic amenities and check in times were flexible. Next door people were a bit loud and I could hear them shouting and laughing lol, but when they weren't there it was really quiet. They provide a small breakfast spread in the morning. Housekeeping came before my check-out time on my last day which was a bit strange, but otherwise good. And as mentioned in other reviews you have to use stairs. If you have anything larger than a carry-on you should ask for 2nd floor, because I don't think you'd be able to go up to the 3rd floor, the stairway is really narrow.Location wise it's pretty good. As the locals would tell you, don't go out at night. Take ubers back to the hotel from the main streets, it will be like max $11 usd.Overall, well worth the stay.

Molnár Anikó: Staff was very kind and friendly.Room facilities were satisfactory.Safety: There were a lot of homeless people, but they weren't dangerous.Walkability: A bus stop is not far away, there is a car park.Food & drinks: Breakfast is perfect for starting the trip.Breakfast, tea, porridge, bread, butter, jam

Chris F: The hotel is completely sufficient for a transit trip and the parking fees are okay for this good location. There is currently no elevator and it doesn't look like one will be installed here anytime soon. The stairs are too small to get into his room with the suitcases and in our opinion this poses a significant risk of accidents. The rooms smelled kind of like horses, but they were decorated quite nicely. The bathroom is very small but serves its purpose. The seating for the minimalist breakfast is far from enough and there are only 2 small tables. All in all, for this price and the location, highly recommended.

Julie Bauder: The only issue that I had the rooms have been updated. It is an old building. The rooms are nice but it looks like currently the elevator is out so you have to use the stairs which were hard for me because of my back and I did not know that ahead of time. Also when I booked it said that there was parking but you do pay $30 a night for parking which I was unaware of but I realize that happens here in San Francisco. I just other places have that I have stayed. I have not had to pay for it when I've rented a room. Beyond that, does this motel is quiet and the staff is very nice and friendly. We'll definitely stay here again with less luggage LOLRooms: Have been updated and are nice looking and colorful huge TV mounted on the wall decent amount of channels to choose from and was more quiet than other places I've stayed in San Francisco

J: Above-average property with some typically SF ridiculously small rooms but modern rooms. You definitely will pay for what you get here just a couple room upgrades the room sizes are markedly better in size and function. The hotel although not in your upper echelon of SF neighborhoods does offer convenience and reasonable comfort. Currently installing an elevator finally - it’s been a long road for that! The left rear staircase is absolutely treacherous so exercise caution or use the right rear much better staircase. This is currently a 3 floor walk up hotel just FYI.Safety: Albeit this neighborhood has a way to go day or night but as a man I do not fear it even in middle of night. Now, for a vacationer it may be different. Carry no purses no expensive jewelry and men keep your wallet in front. A can of mace doesn’t hurt for that added comfort but you’ll probably never need it. Not an area I would advise for single gals.Walkability: You can be on Mid - Market in minutes as well as BART or Muni. Three blocks walk.

Joshua Salazar: We enjoyed our two night stay here, and would recommend if you want to place to stay with easy accessible parking and want stay close to the heart of the town. The staff was hospitable throughout our stay. Our room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The hotel is within walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops and made our stay all the better. Only gripe is that the area is very noisy, but I don't think there is much anymore could do about that if you are going to stay somewhere near downtown.

Francisco Rodriguez: I recently stayed at the Signature SF and had a very pleasant stay. It's not a fancy hotel, but for the price point, I got my money's worth. My room was clean, quiet with decent room amenities. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive when I needed something.I was coming in from out of town so wasn't too familiar with the location. But the hotel was within walking distance of a lot of the places I wanted to check out, or easily get a Lyft or Uber. I was able to park my car right across the street from the hotel with no problem. I would definitely stay at the Signature Hotel SF again.

Crystal Johnson: Rooms: The room was very spacious. I was surprised at the extra space. It was seven of us and I felt very comfortable and there was adequate room for everyone. I felt very comfortable.Safety: About the safety of the location: We had the option of parking on the street and taking a chance of possible break-in or receiving a ticket as I don’t know the area: Or we could park in the garage that was offered for a extra small fee. It was worth it for me to pay the fee and have comfort in knowing that I would wake up to my vehicle intact. They were most kind I must say. When I checked out the next morning I was asked how my stay was: I answered with GREAT! I also said I would be whenever I’m in town it will be my first choice for a place to stay..

Melissa Hameier: Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms were a bit worn but the bed was incredibly cozy, shower was fantastic and it was really fun to have a record player in the room. Valet parking was an astronomical rate, especially when we didn’t realize our pickup was considered an oversized vehicle and billed $90/night plus fees rather than the $70 we had been told.

Frances Palomata: Recently stayed at Kimpton Alton and it was truly exceptional! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. They truly pay attention to the needs of their customers, ensuring a comfortable stay from start to finish!Special shoutout to Clifford for his outstanding service. He left us a lasting impression with his genuine care for guests’ satisfaction. Loved that the hotel is kid and dog-friendly, with thoughtful amenities for both and I must say the food at Abaca restaurant was delicious, with every dish expertly prepared. Overall, a memorable stay and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

Walter Williams: Great location, rooms were small. One microwave per floor. Beds not the best qaulity..AC was super loudNearby activities: Close to all wharf activities and China townWalkability: Walk or Uber scooter ..everywhere in the area.

Brad Knoles: . I was hesitant to stay in "touristy" wharf area, but the location was spot on and felt a little safer at night while SF works out some of the post-Covid kinks in the Union area and elsewhere, if you know what I mean.

Gail Walker: I wished I had a microwave in my room.Rooms: The carpet had a large stain.Food & drinks: The menu didn't offer food to my liking.

Jim Foong: and Harvey has always been on the go to make us feel at home with the greatest hospitality that can be imagined. His enthusiasm and approachable personality plays a pivotal role as an exemplary hotelier with IHG. He’s always proactive in showing care and concern to the hotel guests, such sincerity in the service industry is highly appreciated.May his good values and quality be validated accordingly by the higher management team. Harvey is one of a kind, treasurable gem indeed.Muchas Gracias!Nearby activities: Fisherman’s wharf is just 2 minutes walk away.Walkability: Fisherman’s wharf is just 2 minutes walk away.

Matt Reese: Extreamly nice hotel. Great location, great rooms. Some standouts- was able to garentee ajoining rooms over six months in advance, few places can do this.- happy hour everyday with free wine and beer.- large rooms- good beds.

Liam Batanides: My girlfriend and I had a great weekend here! Service was stellar, the rooms were very clean and the vibes were very cool and exciting! I will say that parking was a bit on the expensive side, but there are options available within walking distance. I would stay here again!Rooms: Clean, simple and elegantSafety: Very safe and secureWalkability: Lots of food and attractions within 10 minutesFood & drinks: Hotel has a restaurant on the main floor

Ahmad Lutfi:

Amparo Saborit Lledo: Very good breakfast. Fantastic location next to Fiseman's Warff. The rooms are good but could be improved

Linda Olson: Rooms: Pricey, but nice.Walkability: Plenty to see and do close by.Food & drinks: Fantastic breakfast included.

Tammy Smith: Nice hotel, great location but they will try to nickel and dime you to death. For example; I called ahead to see if I could recieve an Amazon package there. I was told absolutely and asked when they should expect it. The day it arrived Amazon chose to ship it in 3 very small boxes, Riu charged me $5 per box to recieve it.Safety: Felt pretty safe.Walkability: 3 blocks from pier 39

Phil Montegut: Great place for a quick cheap stay. Nice rooms, modern feel. Rooms are a bit small. Clean. Very nice staff. Only downside is that it's hard to sleep with the constant symphony of sirens and drugged out homeless yelling. But that is san fran these days. Watch your stepSafety: Hotel itself is safe, but it's a warzone outside

Amelia Mustain: I recently stayed here on a spur of the moment type situation and I must say how impressed I was with the ease of check in. The front desk was quick, friendly, and happy to oblige. The room was also very nice. The bedding was soft and comfortable as well as the mattress. I got a wonderful night's sleep! Very private, no disturbances. Five stars

Leif Shnarflberry: Accommodations are above average for the price with nice private bathrooms. Rooms are not very big but amenities are well placed. No microwave or fridges in the rooms but there is a common area on each floor for food prep though poorly maintained and apparently rarely cleaned. They offer house coffee most of the day. Rough neighborhood for parking, be sure to thoroughly check signs and leave nothing exposed. No hotel lot here. Climate control needs attention to function properly.

Amy de Lorimier: This is a nice hotel, the room was freshly renovated and really sweet. A bit small, but I didn't mind that. The location is a kind of sus as it's in the downtown, which is an apocalyptic hell scape these days. But that's probably why it was so reasonably priced! A little noisy. Ask for a high up room or not facing the street. Or bring some good ear plugs!
