Ads: One thing that did really bug me about this hotel is that they do really leave you hanging outside for ages waiting for you to get in and there's a pretty rough and questionable territory outside. The staff weren't super approachable, seem standoffish and I was never made aware of all the additional fees they tack on when you check in.That being said, clean and modern rooms with plenty of amenities in a quiet and comfortable space is all you need when doing a short trip to the city and need a place to crash when on a budget.Gym is small but certainly does the job, they make good logistical operations with the small area for sure.

Mariana Fernandez: Super central location in SF, it is close to Soma and many museums as well as connection to all public transportation. The entire hotel is clean and the rooms are very modern. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom is open inside the same room, so I don't recommend sharing the room. For price and amenities it is worth it. Its biggest disadvantage is that it is located in an area with a lot of homeless. Having said this, when I read the reviews it was scary, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I didn't feel unsafe even though I didn't walk around the area after 8. But I did think the situation was worse.Rooms: Simple and comfortable

강민경: The hotel lobby was not large, but it was clean, the room was well organized, clean, quiet, and nice. If you leave the hotel and turn right, the above-ground subway goes right away and it was convenient to see the city.Safety: The area around the hotel was clean and safe.

Caleb Longest: Friendly staff, clean hotel, and a convenient location. Plenty of parking in the garage. The view from our room was phenomenal.

Rich Jolly: This is our go-to hotel for San Francisco. We just drive there and leave our car in the parking garage. It is centrally located to so many of the sites and attractions that we come to enjoy. The staff are top-notch and accommodating to anything that we may need. There is a restaurant as well as grab and go right in the lobby of the hotel. There are also a lot of vending machines including a CVS vending machine! The rooms are clean and comfortable with great views. The elevators are equipped with technology that only allow you to go to the floor that your room key is set for. I always feel safe with my family here. All in all it is a great hotel and I would recommend it to anyone staying in San Francisco.

krishna: Outstanding and safe hotel.Nothing to worry about your car.I liked the car entrance and exit process. no other person can’t access the parking lot and easy way to reach your hotel. Totally worthy hotel in sfo with affordable price.Safety: Safe and secure the parking lot.Awesome building plans.

Jerry Schnieder: Such a great hotel, we will definitely return. Helpful staff, and what a view!On our second visit, it was just as amazing of a stay. Filtered water in the workout room on floor 6!Rooms: We loved our room!Nearby activities: Right next to the California cable car line!

Leonardo Acioli: Great hotel! Clean and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again

Jixi Fox: that was impressive, the artwork was great, 6 elevators, amazing cleaning staff, pool, self washing machine and dryer

Sierra Foxtrot: A good hotel with attentive and friendly staff. It has a central location due to its proximity to a large shopping center. From here you can explore San Francisco on foot. The modern rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows through which you have a good view. There is a luggage storage service for all guests who arrive early or wish to leave in the evening.

Q Wer: comfy, low-anxiety, memorable, & smooth. :

Jarred Capellman: Hands down the best hotel in the world. My wife and I have stayed here numerous times over the last year going to various events in San Francisco. The location is perfect to get around to everything we goto. The rooms have always been super clean, large and luxurious. You really can't beat the floor to glass ceiling views of the bay.The staff has always been courteous even when we have checked in at midnight. The buffet breakfast is also the best breakfast, lots of keto options.Walkability: Giants stadium, Warriors Stadium, Ferry Building and SF Symphony are all within walking distance. Not to mention Enterprise Brewery, Rize Up Bakery and Black Hammer Brewery.

Hortencia Mayorga: Hotel highlights Kid-friendly

James Gilbert: Had the great pleasure of staying in a room with Club lounge access for 4 nights recently with a 20th floor view of seismic proportions. A true treat. Luis and the rest of the lounge staff were as one would hope - helpful, attentive, and great to interact with. The food and beverages were of excellent quality, and the views also from the lounge and the patio were terrific. Do not hesitate to stay here, especially if you opt for the Club lounge. The location can be dicey but that's basically the entire city. So, be a little cautious but do still come.

Randy Shaw: A great escape nestled in the thick of it all you would never know you were on the outside of the TL nestled in this quaint quiet safe place.Rooms: Big rooms and comfy beds with good sized bathrooms

Jennifer D: of open drug use and homelessness outside. However, the garage across the street attached to Hotel Cavo offers 24/7 secured, valet parking for 35$. My car was filled w/ camping gear & they kept everything safe.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this, even if you’re traveling w/ kids & just need a place to sleep. I’d just recommend parking your car in the garage before dark & Uber from the hotel.Rooms: Small but clean. Comfortable beds and full size refillable toiletries in shower.Nearby activities: In Tenderloin which has very open drug use but it closeby to a lot of main attractions.Safety: In Tenderloin which has a lot of open drug use and homelessness. However, there are parking spots to check-in right outside the door. And 24/7 secured valet garage across the street for 35$. Highly recommend leaving car there and using Uber. I did not empty my car since garage was secure 24/7 and had no problems.

Brian Evitt: I went to the desk and they asked what brand TV and kindly apologized and handed me a remote and told me if it didn't work just call down and they will send another one up to me. I don't understand how it's only a 2 star hotel I could see a 3-4 star passage on this gem! It's a little loud from outside but that's to be expected! The price is below what I would pay for a night to stay here

Ron Nelson (Ron): This place is clean, has awesome Smart TV's in each room & fast internet. I personally like this place, and recommend it.Walkability: There's a ton of doo-doo littering the streets & sidewalks of the TL, and if you aren't mindful of where you step -- you may just become another statistic.

Marcus Eldridge: So honest time. The hotel is great the stay is great. The only thing that may put you off is the homeless issue. However, they never cause bother, only ever wish you a good day. You have a police station 2 mins up the road and police cars everywhere so you are more than safe. This hotel is the best access to everywhere for your visit. I would definitely stay againWalkability: Can walk to everywhere and great access to the old tram up to fishermas wharf. It's at the top of the road

Leonel Luzon: I saw one of the reviews that this place is a hidden gem around the street and yes, it's proven! I am surprised how beautiful this hotel is. It is clean and looks newly renovated. I love the interior designs and it's my first time using an old style elevator that I thought I will just only see in movies. The building is old but it is well maintained. Some problems like the phone in our room don't work and a cobweb by the bathroom. They have a big smart TV in the room too. Just be aware that It is also loud outside as I understand that the street is busy even late at night. Overall, we are still very happy during our stay. It shouldn't be a 2-star hotel but I think it will pass a 3 or 4 star hotel. And almost forgot to mention that it is worth our bulks! Very affordable for a great hotel!

Arlene Caseres: Convenient location. Safe inside and out. Clean room and bathroom. Fresh towels and linens. PublicTransportation at the doorstep of the hotel. Great water pressure to shower. Heavy comforter to sleep at night. Tea, coffee and water at lobby. Professional staff. Didn’t hear anything at night. Slept well. Room 39.Walkability: Can walk to restaurants, grocery stores, laundromat. Found it easy to get around, walking or public transportation. Trains or buses take you to other neighborhoods, such as the Castro, ocean beach, portero hill, the mission, fisherman’s wharf .. everywhere from hotel.

Louis Chua: The place is a bit quirky and it can be challenging to get to the rooms if you have a bit more luggage. But the staff are really helpful; shout out to Jasmine and Enrique who has been most helpful during our stay. Wonderful people. It is also situated at a great location where you can easily access the nice places in San Francisco.

Chris Tebo: Iconic bar at the top of the hotel. We came for the sunset view. Great views, but obviously, newer buildings do obscure the view of the horizon. Interesting cocktails we haven't seen elsewhere. The food was good, but appetizer fare for sure. We really appreciate the rich history. Especially the military tradition of buying a bottle for the next military personnel stopping in. Great to read the notes on the bottled. Amazing history and some famous people too.

Kimberly E: Absolutely GORGEOUS hotel. The staff was the nicest I've ever dealt with. The person who checked us in and the Concierge were both incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel is easy to walk to and from Pier 39, Chinatown, Little Italy, and the government buildings in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We loved our view of the city from the 10th floor!

Christy T: Great service here so much better than The Plaza Hotel in NYC which we stayed at recently. Bell man immediately helped us with bags. Room had with a stunning view. Attentive room service. Rooms are old but very spacious and the bed was comfortable. A lot of older people working here who are very good at their job. Very pleased. Parking is $85 a night but they told us that immediately. There are other parking garages nearby. The curtains don’t close so the room stays bright at night. I found a hair clip to close mine.

Scott Bartels: Staff is nothing but perfect. Had sticker shock for the price of breakfast that was so so. And again when we got drinks at the bar 48$ for 2 drinks???????Rooms: FabulousNearby activities: About a mile and a half from most activities.Safety: I just feel safe until a Gaza protester came into the resturant

Pam C: Just stopped in to pick niece but this place looks AWESOME. Just walking around the main floor is stellar.Noteworthy details: Statues of all the music/rock stars that have stayed, including Beatles, Bowie, etc and a great statue outside of Tony Bennett

Tenzin Subhar: Amazing experience and exceptional front desk service, especially front desk manager Ashley, she was so helpful, kind and though. When she found out it was our son’s Birthday weekend, she made it extra special by sending him a personal birthday card and a gift. Everyone in the hotel was so nice and helpful, very clean and the location was close to everything especially the cable cars. Loved it here and will definitely visit again.

Pablo Javier Gigli: Very good comfortable hotel and very well located. Near everything

Jonas Schürger: .

Dorothea Izzo: Boutique hotel, safe, quiet location with welcoming lobby attached to Fino Ristorante, professional, kind staff, good elevator, quiet room with radiator heat you can control, clean linen and towels with a touch of bleach smell which assures you it is clean and sanitary, gentle, nice smelling soap products and good shower head, charging station for multiple USB devices and outlets. My only gripe is the mattress which was a spring style and I am biased toward firm mattresses and the rug is worn but these attributes are not enough to keep me from coming back. Note also there is no fridge. For the value, safety, cleanliness, staff and character of the building, I still give it five stars!

Matias Zamorano: and some useful accessories such as a hair dryer or even an iron.A small desk with cable television is included.Food & drinks: The hotel offers a light continental breakfast, but not on all floors.Coffee, tea and hot water are available 24 hours a day in the lobby.

Nancy L.: For the category of hotel, old school European small hotel, I think it's outstanding. I've worked in luxury hotels for many years but when in SF, I really enjoy the location as well as personalized guest experience I have at this hotel. Staff and management are exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Fino, the attached restaurant is lovely and the food is amazing. Again, small but a very personalized approach to their business. Charles the manager always makes me feel like family. If you want a low key European hotel experience in proximity to all the best of SF then you'll appreciate this hotel. If you don't like urban life then you won't appreciate this hotels location. They offer a lovely Continental breakfast which is perfect for people who don't want or need a big American style breakfast. My room is clean and very comfortable. Brought my own Roku stick so I could watch what I like when not out and kicking about the city. It's no Holiday Inn and that's a good thing in my opinion. Highly recommend 👍

C Martinez: I absolutely love this hotel! Right in the center of city near so many great dining options and shopping. Caroline Sims: were not active/didn’t work.3. I am a female that travels alone for business and more often than not elect to order food via a courier service and have it dropped at my door. This is also a convenience as I take multiple virtual meetings from my hotel room. I ordered food 6 times during my three day stay, and was called twice by the front desk stating it’s a security issue. Perhaps you all need to collaborate on your security processes for the courtyard rooms - you definitely didn’t seem to notice the first four couriers. Makes me wonder how often they’re really paying attention.4. And I respect that this was due to availability and the hotel likely having no other rooms available. They posted me up right next to the utility closet. Door slamming at all hours

Simone Guzzi: From the reviews I read I expected a disaster... but I don't understand what people are complaining about...Nice, clean, friendly and smiling staff...security in the evening/night....rooms equipped with many comforts....Excellent experience

Miguel Gómez: First you have to know that the Google photos are old, there is currently no homeless outside the hotel and the streets are clean. Now talking about the hotel, it really is one of the cheapest in SF, it is nice, it is not luxurious, it is not 5 stars but it is clean, tidy, the staff is attentive except for some security guards, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the bathroom is large and clean, it has Parking for $65 per night or day, if you bring a car, this hotel may not be the best idea because those $65 per day double the price/day of the room. The location of the hotel is the best, it is close to all forms of transportation MUNI BART ECT. It is close to food stores, shopping malls and close to the China Town Market Street Pier financial district. I recommend it . I leave you some photos of how we found it in March 2024.

David Perez: I never leave reviews but they deserve it. Staff was very friendly and informative, building was very clean and smelled good. My favorite part was NO parking fee!! I'm glad we stayed here we'll be back next time we come to the cityService: 5/5 …

Charlotte Jupp: Rooms: Functional and clean.Nearby activities: Nice hotel bar. Good location for a lot of the sights. Convenient for Powell Street and the trams.Safety: Safe enough for San Francisco. Busy area.Walkability: Can walk to a lot of locations and central.Food & drinks: Nice rooftop bar for drinks. Didn't eat food.

Leonardo Garcia: The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop bar. The rooms are old and worn out. As usual in San Francisco, it's too expensive for a terrible experience.Rooms: Terrible. Very old and worn out.

Gustavo Nadais: Region with a lot of drug addicts, which makes it scary to go out. But the hotel is still pretty cool.Rooms: Rooms ok, I expected more for the price. But OK.Safety: Hotel security, especially at night or on busier days, is good, but they are very rude. American profile. The streets around are full of drug addicts and homeless people, it's terrible.

Marco Polo: 2 blocks up on Sutter Street, great breakfast. Very good prices.

Elena Belgum (Count Talkula): This place is enormous, I forgot how big it was and that I had gotten lost there more than once. Tower one has 40 or more floors, reception areas huge and has a great but expensive store/ Deli which I think is open 24 hours. Security can be overly Vigilant and rude but considering the location and current situation and the fact that people are sleeping there, it's to be expected. If you are visiting somebody here have their room number and last name and it doesn't hurt to have picture ID and have them call them or come meet you in the lobby or leave a message at the front desk or something like that or you may not get in. The prices are more than double the last time I've been there, I don't know if there was a convention in town or that's just the current pricing or the person I know just didn't have any discounts, but this is definitely not a budget location. They also have A well-stocked gift shop, although I don't think I would rely on it for gifts for any kind of special occasion it's closer to an airport convenience store. They also have a couple of restaurants and bars, pool, hot tub, convention facilities, office equipment, 24/7 room service and maid service etcRooms: I've only seen standard rooms here. They are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are nice and well stocked and I believe most if not all of the rooms have balconies.Nearby activities: Great location near Union Square and the Theater District also near the tenderloin, so don't leave anything in your car if you park here. I wouldn't even leave your car outside of their parking lot or it may not be there when you get back. SF does not have a ton of 24-hour activities and businesses like it used to but if you're going to find them it'll be near that hotel.Safety: Don't walk around this neighborhood altered alone or you are likely to be targeted for robbery or something similar. I would not leave my car there overnight if it was nice and definitely not if it had anything inside . Great for shopping but don't leave any valuables unattended. Great for bars and restaurants but a pricey area, better deals available within a mile or less.Walkability: Almost all of San Francisco is extremely walkable, the tenderloin is much dirtier than it used to be and it's not advisable to walk in anything other than closed-toed shoes and not provocatively dressed unless you like a whole lot of attention. Also keep your wallet hidden and be friendly but not overly friendly if it's late at night. You can see Union Square from a street performers, Broadway level theater, a lot of bars and restaurants and shopping and cable cars, Market street, the ferry building, the Embarcadero, Grace Cathedral and a lot of other great sites and stuff to do within easy walking distance although you might run into a lot of hills.Food & drinks: Available 24/7 at the hotel but very pricey. Available in the area also very pricey, again go to the tenderloin for better prices but keep your wits about you and hide your money. I would recommend going up to Polk street for Napoli Pizza, and other great restaurants and bars for a younger, "hipper" crowd at a lower price than the Union Square area, you'll be passing through the tenderloin to get there which is possibly too Hip for most people and much lower pricing unless you're buying drugs or ice cream. LolNoteworthy details: Most likely the largest hotel in the city, great location, clean professional Etc but much higher pricing than other smaller and possibly more fun hotels which may not offer the same amenities or hours.

Linda Hester: We had an amazing stay. This is a historic mansion with lots of history and beautiful artwork. The rooms are quaint but comfortable with modern bathrooms and amazing beds and linens. Breakfast is nice. The location is excellent for business or arts near the Civic Center. The area is clean, safe and nice - entirely different from the Tenderloin which is nearby. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance. Amanda was amazing and saw to all of our needs.

Howard Shin: , don't forget there are 12 different rooms all unique and themed. Experience has always been wonderful.Great location and easy parking to find nearby. As soon as you enter inside this Victorian building, you can feel the history and service to welcome. What we loved:Clean rooms, soft beds, felt peaceful, rooms having their own individualistic style, Molton Brown bath products, and service has always been friendly and sharp. We have no complaints about this spot, it has been a beautiful hotel and service for us. Great for family out of town or a weekend getaway in SF. Again, great experience!

A. M.: authentic history and art + better lattes than any other hipster coffee shop

Jason Gallaher: This converted mansion was cute as all get out, clean, and centrally located. The customer service was excellent, too. I got in extremely early, but since a room was ready, they let me check in so I wouldn’t have to linger in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again. Just a heads up if you’re looking for a place with a full restaurant and 24 hour room service, this hotel doesn’t have that, but it’s near so many restaurants that that was never an issue.

Sophia Liu & Henry Demasco: with several crates worth of wedding-related supplies, and their staff helped us bring it all up to our room. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and unique. Our room came with an amazing soaking tub that we enjoyed the morning of our wedding and best smelling toiletries we've ever found at a hotel. Despite the level of excitement we felt for our wedding we slept beautifully. The handsome writing desk was the perfect spot for us to write our thank you notes to our wedding vendors. Not sure why some reviews claim there isn't a breakfast? While the breakfast doesn't include hot items, the selection was great and of very high quality - fresh fruit, sandwiches, coffee, pastries, and we left happy and full.We look forward to returning for our anniversary someday!

Kat Ellis-Guardiola: This is a beautiful mansion - the attention to detail in the decor and service was phenomenal. Special thanks to Amanda for her hospitality and kindness!Walkability: The hotel is in a central location within walking distance of very tasty food!

Susan Noerdlinger: 10 Stars for The Mansion on Sutter. I was extremely grateful to discover this beautiful, well located, super clean and lovely boutique hotel on a recent trip to San Francisco. The ambience was truly calming and elegant, the bed and bedding were of excellent quality and super comfortable, and the carefully presented breakfast was just right. But most importantly, the staff was exceptional. During an 8 night stay, I was fortunate to meet most of the staff, and Amit, Amanda, Yash, and Nina all went out of their way to accommodate the needs of the guests in a genuine and very thoughtful way. I have rarely met a hotel staff that cared as much about the comfort of their guests and treated their guests with as much respect than this group of fine people. They are a wonderful team and all are invested in their work at the Hotel Mansion on Sutter. Thank you to each of you.

Kim S: We loved our stay at the Mansion on Sutter. Gorgeous rooms and the service is top notch. Secure parking was a huge relief-we coukd load and unload at ease. We walked to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square and loved it. Best bed I've ever slept on! I'd love to know what kind it was- I don't think I've ever been so comfortable away from home.

Wu Feng: but was very difficult to get to — had to go to the 7th floor and descend two floors to get to it.Rooms: Impeccable. Loved the desk area that overlooked the bay and the city. Unbelievable views while working.Walkability: Easy walking access to the conference hotel that I was in town for.Noteworthy details: The hotel is currently under renovation, making the fitness center hard to get to. This Hilton property had TWO Peloton bikes that were configured and set up properly.I was originally going to stay for four nights, but shortened it to three due to the massively escalated nightly rate for nights 2, 3, and 4. Roughly 33% higher

Marc Barrison: the food was tasty with large portions .The room appeared to be recently updated. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had a city view king. We really appreciated the full size desk/table than runs across the entire window side of the room. Great place for the laptop and other gear as well as other items.Used the gym, nice, clean and with plentiful equipment.Location at the edge of Chinatown, with in walking distance of the Embarcadero and Fishermans Wharf is excellent.Only minor complaint is the high price of parking, but we are in the heart of the city so it was not unusual and was communicated on the website when we booked.I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, this hotel met or exceeded all expectations.

Mai Vang: I would note is that walls are pretty thin so if you’re visiting on a busy weekend then you will likely be able to hear people at night/in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!

Iris: My stay was pretty good, it was about what I expected. They had all the basic amenities and check in times were flexible. Next door people were a bit loud and I could hear them shouting and laughing lol, but when they weren't there it was really quiet. They provide a small breakfast spread in the morning. Housekeeping came before my check-out time on my last day which was a bit strange, but otherwise good. And as mentioned in other reviews you have to use stairs. If you have anything larger than a carry-on you should ask for 2nd floor, because I don't think you'd be able to go up to the 3rd floor, the stairway is really narrow.Location wise it's pretty good. As the locals would tell you, don't go out at night. Take ubers back to the hotel from the main streets, it will be like max $11 usd.Overall, well worth the stay.

Molnár Anikó: Staff was very kind and friendly.Room facilities were satisfactory.Safety: There were a lot of homeless people, but they weren't dangerous.Walkability: A bus stop is not far away, there is a car park.Food & drinks: Breakfast is perfect for starting the trip.Breakfast, tea, porridge, bread, butter, jam

Chris F: The hotel is completely sufficient for a transit trip and the parking fees are okay for this good location. There is currently no elevator and it doesn't look like one will be installed here anytime soon. The stairs are too small to get into his room with the suitcases and in our opinion this poses a significant risk of accidents. The rooms smelled kind of like horses, but they were decorated quite nicely. The bathroom is very small but serves its purpose. The seating for the minimalist breakfast is far from enough and there are only 2 small tables. All in all, for this price and the location, highly recommended.

Julie Bauder: The only issue that I had the rooms have been updated. It is an old building. The rooms are nice but it looks like currently the elevator is out so you have to use the stairs which were hard for me because of my back and I did not know that ahead of time. Also when I booked it said that there was parking but you do pay $30 a night for parking which I was unaware of but I realize that happens here in San Francisco. I just other places have that I have stayed. I have not had to pay for it when I've rented a room. Beyond that, does this motel is quiet and the staff is very nice and friendly. We'll definitely stay here again with less luggage LOLRooms: Have been updated and are nice looking and colorful huge TV mounted on the wall decent amount of channels to choose from and was more quiet than other places I've stayed in San Francisco

J: Above-average property with some typically SF ridiculously small rooms but modern rooms. You definitely will pay for what you get here just a couple room upgrades the room sizes are markedly better in size and function. The hotel although not in your upper echelon of SF neighborhoods does offer convenience and reasonable comfort. Currently installing an elevator finally - it’s been a long road for that! The left rear staircase is absolutely treacherous so exercise caution or use the right rear much better staircase. This is currently a 3 floor walk up hotel just FYI.Safety: Albeit this neighborhood has a way to go day or night but as a man I do not fear it even in middle of night. Now, for a vacationer it may be different. Carry no purses no expensive jewelry and men keep your wallet in front. A can of mace doesn’t hurt for that added comfort but you’ll probably never need it. Not an area I would advise for single gals.Walkability: You can be on Mid - Market in minutes as well as BART or Muni. Three blocks walk.

Joshua Salazar: We enjoyed our two night stay here, and would recommend if you want to place to stay with easy accessible parking and want stay close to the heart of the town. The staff was hospitable throughout our stay. Our room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The hotel is within walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops and made our stay all the better. Only gripe is that the area is very noisy, but I don't think there is much anymore could do about that if you are going to stay somewhere near downtown.

Francisco Rodriguez: I recently stayed at the Signature SF and had a very pleasant stay. It's not a fancy hotel, but for the price point, I got my money's worth. My room was clean, quiet with decent room amenities. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive when I needed something.I was coming in from out of town so wasn't too familiar with the location. But the hotel was within walking distance of a lot of the places I wanted to check out, or easily get a Lyft or Uber. I was able to park my car right across the street from the hotel with no problem. I would definitely stay at the Signature Hotel SF again.

Crystal Johnson: Rooms: The room was very spacious. I was surprised at the extra space. It was seven of us and I felt very comfortable and there was adequate room for everyone. I felt very comfortable.Safety: About the safety of the location: We had the option of parking on the street and taking a chance of possible break-in or receiving a ticket as I don’t know the area: Or we could park in the garage that was offered for a extra small fee. It was worth it for me to pay the fee and have comfort in knowing that I would wake up to my vehicle intact. They were most kind I must say. When I checked out the next morning I was asked how my stay was: I answered with GREAT! I also said I would be whenever I’m in town it will be my first choice for a place to stay..

Cherr: . View from the room was amazing; staff are friendly; quiet room. Considering all these things and weighing that with the $ I paid per room - it’s average in value. But! It’s still one of the better hotels in SFO. Designated at a safe street- No homeless/distressed individuals loitering outside.

Holly Z: The hotel was overall good. The lobby is quite busy at all times. The wifi was good, the bed and pillows were comfy, the AC was strong, and the washroom amenities were nice.Overall it was clean but I noticed some of the surfaces were not wiped and had some beverage residue. The area is fine in the day but feels somewhat unsafe at night, especially if you're alone.

Gigi San: Parking is expensive but they allow in/out..great location to attend SFSU graduation at Oracle Park.Safety: I felt safe-but I was with a family group.Walkability: Walked to various places since the hotel is not on a hill.

Spider J: . Although it is expensive, it is worth it if you are very hungry and expect to eat a lot of the eggs and sausage and other delicious spread. We were offered to

Elle O’Neil: , market on the first floor makes delicious lattes and chia puddings, breakfast buffet is pricey but the spread is extravagant. Good location - Trader Joe’s is within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

King Veloso: We had an amazing stay here for the whole weekend, the check in was smooth and fast. The lady who cleaned our room, she was fantastic! Making sure everything is clean new towels, new pillow cases, cups, glasses every day. Coffee grinds and condiments kit are also refilled everyday. The beds and pillows feel like brand new. And of course the ladies at the front desk they were all amazing, they were quick and friendly. I hope they will consider a complimentary breakfast here someday. But overall experience was great and would stay here again.Rooms: Very clean.Walkability: Have access to some bus stops.

We have booked 2 rooms for 4 days.I will stay Best Western Red Coach Inn when I visit again San Francisco and recommend to my friends about this accommodation.Food & drinks: Breakfast and Service

NANCY LIM Nancy: Hotel is overall good, but quite a lots of home less opposite the street of KFC . But homeless people will not enter or stay around the hotel. Just try to return before sunset if you don’t drive. If you travel in a group of 4 then should be better. HOotel has good breakfast.Good Front Desk service 👍👍!Special thanks to the manager Candy that share with us all the special place that need to visit. She give us the full information on public transport and best type of travel card to purchase for our trips in San Francisco. Night shift reception Rana Har provides us with tips around San Francisco too! Nice guy that chats with my hubby like friend. Keep it up with your good front desk service as it do make a different.Rooms: Will give 4 stars if they provide boiling kettle in roomFood & drinks: Good breakfast but will even better if provide refill drinking water at lobby as room has no electric kettle .Noteworthy details: Should provide electric kettle in room

Alex Madrigal: The staff was very helpful, and polite. We got a room right away, the room was very spacious perfect for my toodler to play and a wheel out kitchen table which was perfect for eating in before hitting the sites. And tasty free breakfast perfect if you have places to go. Great cable tv entertainment to help pass the night away from home. Thank Best western you never disappoint.Rooms: Very clean and convenient for whatever space you may needSafety: The majority of the building have key card scanners to access lobby, elevators, and rooms. Non smoking hotel except for the parking lot. Wheelchair accessible doors, room.Food & drinks: Variety of hot beverages and cold beverage vending machine.

Jewels Willey: and I was like damnnnn but honestly, I get it, it's the city and my stay was totally worth it!I see a lot of complaints about homelessness, but it's SF, almost every street has tons of homeless people. The property is gated, I had no issue with any of the homeless people! While I know being around homeless people can make some people super nervous, I always say don't stare and mind your business and you'll be okay :

NG Jr.: . my communication skills aren’t what they used to be.Nevertheless, the entire staff were polite, patient and respectful. As my Uber pulled up, Dein,  at the front door,, was there to greet me and help me out of my Uber.Throughout my stay, he would always ask if I was OK if there’s anything he could do for me.The next person that I met,  Amia the Front Desk Supervisor,  who is very patient and professional,. Amia checked me in and was kind enough to put me in a room on the first- floor, so I wouldn’t have to deal with any stairs or elevators. I greatly appreciated that, because of my lack of vision.Amia was also kind enough to let me know that if there was anything I needed, not hesitate to ask for her she would do her very vest to accommodate.A couple days after I arrived when I had a problem with my reservation, Amia looked into the matter and resolved my problem quickly.I felt that she could tell that I was very stressed because I had been displaced from my home, she was very sympathetic to my situation which helped take my stress away.In fact, the entire staff was very attentive.Erwin,  I believe  was a supervisor for housekeeping and  the food facilities, made sure that if I had any special requirements not to hesitate to ask him.I really enjoyed the fact that the hotel had a breakfast bar, the fresh fruit cups in the morning were my favorite. The best part of the breakfast bar was that it opened up again in the late afternoon for a couple of hours, so those of us who wanted a light dinner of hot sandwiches and other delights.Nicole behind the counter made sure that our food requests were taken care of.During my stay, I met some other guest who said every time they come to San Francisco. They stay at this particular hotel, which didn’t surprise me at all. What I thought would be a two or three day stay, turned into ten, which turned out to be OK because the staff were great!I can honestly say I received five star service from the entire staff, and I would not hesitate to Recommend this hotel to friends, family, and others.

ROME G: I had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott hotel recently, and I must say that my experience was made absolutely exceptional thanks to the outstanding service provided by Antoinnette. From the moment I checked in, she greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile, and her attentiveness throughout my stay was truly remarkable. Antoinnette went above and beyond to ensure that my accommodations were comfortable and that I had everything I needed to make my stay memorable. Her professionalism, friendliness, and genuine concern for the guests' well-being truly set her apart. I cannot thank her enough for making my stay at the Marriott hotel so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic experience, all thanks to employees like Antoinnette. Thanks,Roman & Melvin

Alexander Mena: It is a very large building

Chastity Percell: The staff were an absolute delight, every single person I came across. The rooms were small, but as expected for a city hotel in my opinion. The only reason I knocked a star off is since they kept running out of items. Didn't have all the items on their bar list, I ordered the last batch of wings at 7 pm when they serve food til I THINK 10 pm.

shun K: It's compact and has everything you need. The shower has good water pressure and the temperature can be precisely adjusted.I slept with earplugs because I could hear sounds from the hallway and other rooms.

김남섭: The location and rooms are good, but one of the two elevators is being replaced, so hotel guests on the 10th floor use one elevator, which is very slow.Rooms: It's about a 10-minute walk to Fisherman Wharf, and the pizza and sushi in front of the hotel are delicious. It's a nice place to get around because streetcars run by.Nearby activities: Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard HillSafety: While visiting Fisherman Wharf until 10 p.m., I didn't see any homeless people, so I didn't feel anxious at all, and it seemed like a safe area.Walkability: Cars give way to pedestrians.

Angela M.: next door. Sushi place across street. More restaurants in short walk.

les: then this property is a good location as its within moderate walking distance to trolley or other public transportation that is inexpensive to utilize. We had a rental car and I'll say their parking garage, though welcome for being secure, is nerve-wracking tight to maneuver in and limited spaces. Driving San fran is pretty crazy too, and there's the threat of your car being damaged due to theft if parked outside. Our car got hit with some kinda food item thrown while just driving around, I'd recommend avoiding if possible and utilizing public transit or rideshare. You stay here for the location, the free breakfast, and the service and value expected from Comfort Inn. And in that they are fulfilling expectation in my opinion.Nearby activities: Near transportation to downtown if able to walk 15 or so minutes.Walkability: Streets of San fran are notorious and infamous for their steep grades, but there are public transportation that go by or the trolley isn't too far away for that iconic experience.

Adriana Toral Chinazzo: .Breakfast is fine: coffee, tea, water, juice, toast, muffins, waffles, scrambled eggs, meat, jams and some fruits; is recovered. It is advisable not to go at the last minute to avoid last minute bustle. There are only two elevators for 11 floors, it didn't bother me, but it is important not to leave plans to the last minute.WiFi works well. You can use the dining room during the day and tourist information is available.I would stay here again. It is functional, very good location.

J. Menjivar: My experience was okay compare to this other reviews stayed on the 11th fl curatins where definitely dark enough to block any sunlight. Only issues was the elevator 1 out of 2 working and would take longer then usual waiting to go up as well as to come down to the lobby we did have a refrigerator but no microwave. Food was okay eggs, sausage, bacon, quaker, bread, waffles, as well as coffee, orange juice and apple juice. I would recommend.Rooms: Rooms seemed clean enough and we had plenty of towels to use. If we needed more they will provide.Nearby activities: This spot was close and very convenient to all famous tour locations as well as close to the pier and Alcatraz Tour.Safety: Seems safe hardly did I notice any homelessness or any other suspicious activities.Walkability: The most crooked street Lombard St, was only 3 blocks away. If you are physically active you can walk anywhere from 20-30mns to certain locations or ride the bus 10-15 mns away.

Cecilia Hjort: Okay hotel for this price. We were 3 adults in the same family and had a room with 2 queen beds, spacious to share a bed. The room is fresh but the elevator is incredibly tough. Close to Fishermans Warf, good pizza across the road and breakfast was okay. Waffles, yogurt and muffins. The area felt safe to walk in the evening. We had wonderful views of the Golden Gate Bridge both morning, sunset and evening.
