Chris C.: This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. It's very clean, with hard wood floors and a fully stocked minibar and snacks. The room was tastefully designed and relatively quiet aside from some occasional street noise. They supply ear plugs in the rooms if you're a light sleeper. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The woman I spoke to left the office and walked down the street with me a bit to show me where to go for the BART.

Ra Wi: You can hear the street noise and the nightly clean-up work on the street clearly. But it didn't bother us.

Giorgia Chirchiglia: , only 2 mins walk from union.Recommended

Louis Lombardo: Great hotel, nice and clean rooms, well located near union square.

Peter Matthews: + clean room, comfortable bed, and good HVAC system+ good location as it is walkable to Union Square, Moscone center, and Bart station- can hear a bit of external noise in room as the window insulation is not great- The wood frame around the bed is weird. Be careful or you may trip and hurt yourself- The sink in bath is very small and has a shelf plank halfway over it, making it a bit awkward to use the sink- mini fridge in the room was stuffed with overpriced drinks Hotel wants to sell you and literally no room to keep anything you would buy on your own.- Table in room is very small. There is a separate lounge for working more comfortably.

Nicole Bliss: This hotel was conveniently located and cozy. The rooms are small, but well laid out and nicely decorated, so it felt like plenty of space for two people for a long weekend. However, the elevator was not functional during our stay, meaning a lot of steps to climb with luggage. Also, the scent diffused in the lobby was a nice smell but very overpowering. As someone who is prone to getting migraines from strong perfumes, I felt like I had to keep the amount of time spent downstairs to a bare minimum.

Tim: A fantastic hotel - what people say about the scent is true this is one of the best smelling places on the planet. Breakfast gets the job done, ok coffee and good croissants. Rooms are good size and comfy bed and pillows. No shower door or barrier in bathroom so very intimate, but other rooms may be different. Pretty quiet after midnight we had no trouble sleeping 7 hours uninterrupted.

Adam Saltan: An exceptional hotel in the center of the city, pretty and charming. The Palihotel San Francisco is probably my favorite hotel in the world. It is unique, with its own character and soul, offering a lot of charm. The hotel is stylish, modern and very well decorated. The rooms are of good taste, clean, comfortable, and big enough. The bathrooms are great, with walk-in showers and nice soaps from Diptyque.Location is great too, right next to Union Square, enabling you to travel around very easily. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel too, which is very convenient. Regarding safety, I felt safe going out even being alone as it’s in a good area of the neighbourhood. It is my second stay here, and I’m sure I’ll come again.

Leslee Watt: Small rooms, but clean, charming, and very friendly staff. Good pastries in the mornings and a great location right on the cusp of that epic San Fran grit.

Paul Schraeder: My stay at the Fairmont was amazing. The best customer service - thanks Antoine and staff! The hotel is central to everything and just three blocks from Chinatown so great food is just steps away.Rooms: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Great value …

Scott Bartels: Staff is nothing but perfect. Had sticker shock for the price of breakfast that was so so. And again when we got drinks at the bar 48$ for 2 drinks???????Rooms: FabulousNearby activities: About a mile and a half from most activities.Safety: I just feel safe until a Gaza protester came into the resturant

Thorsten Knoop: Location: 5/5

Pam C: Just stopped in to pick niece but this place looks AWESOME. Just walking around the main floor is stellar.Noteworthy details: Statues of all the music/rock stars that have stayed, including Beatles, Bowie, etc and a great statue outside of Tony Bennett

Tenzin Subhar: Amazing experience and exceptional front desk service, especially front desk manager Ashley, she was so helpful, kind and though. When she found out it was our son’s Birthday weekend, she made it extra special by sending him a personal birthday card and a gift. Everyone in the hotel was so nice and helpful, very clean and the location was close to everything especially the cable cars. Loved it here and will definitely visit again.

The modern, sleek design combined with artistic touches throughout the hotel creates a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. The panoramic views of the Bay Area from various vantage points in the hotel are simply breathtaking.**Rooms and Amenities:**The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. My room had a stunning view of the Bay Bridge, which was a delightful bonus. The hotel also offers top-notch amenities including a well-equipped fitness center, business services, and complimentary Wi-Fi.**Dining:**The dining options at the Hyatt Regency are excellent. Sangwon Seo: I heard that the Tenderloen area is a crime-ridden area, so I was looking for a hotel just outside the border, and I was looking for a good value hotel that was close to both Powell Station and Union Square, and came across this hotel.First of all, it was comfortable because the door was automatic, and the female employee named “yesha” was a K-drama fan, so I think she was friendlier to Koreans. I would like to thank Yesha once again for being kind enough to understand my strange Konglish language even though I cannot speak English, and I believe that he will be kind to other travelers as well. I spent a few days mostly sleeping and traveling around, but the location was good so I had no problems finding the accommodation. There were fewer homeless people than I thought, and even if there were, I just had to avoid them.I had a good travel experience. thank you

Sarava S: Rooms: Comfortable and practice for business tripsSafety: Secure place.Walkability: Lots of restaurants and bars around

David Nagel-Nunez: Very cute hotel! Everything is pineapple themed, rooms and beds are very confortable, staff is helpful, and location is great downtown. We did have a rocky start at first - the air conditioner in our room was broken, and they knew about it but didn't tell us. So we were really hot for our first night, but they did give us a little discount for the inconvenience and moved us to another room.Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay at this adorable hotel! One recommendation - in the about section in this Google page, it says that they have a fitness center, but this is not true - it needs to be updated!Rooms: Very comfortableNearby activities: Downtown area and very walkableSafety: Safe but a lot of homelessWalkability: Downtown area and lots of restaurants nearbyFood & drinks: No breakfast but they give you a complimentary drinkNoteworthy details: They have a cute dog in the room that you can "adopt" or buy if you want for $25.

Christina Krause: .the room is equipped perfectly. Very friendly and helpful staff. The neigbourhood area is "demanding" and "challenging" due to the soccal flashpoint of this area. But opposite the hotel you will find a bar

Aunika Kost: The staff were all very kind and helpful. The rooms were more on the small side, but very nice and clean. At check in, my husband and I were given free drinks vouchers for the little cafe/bar they had in the lobby. The only downside to staying here is the location. Being in San Francisco right in Union Square, the traffic and homeless population can be a lot at times, but despite the location the staff keeps the property, inside and out, very clean. The lobby doors also lock at 7pm every night requiring key card access to get in, making the entire building more secure. I 10/10 recommend of you plan on coming to San Francisco.

Monica Izzard: and given our room. I initially did not notice the room was not the one we had reserved as we were tired but after about an hour I realised and promptly went downstairs. It was then explained that the room we had booked was unavailable due to air conditioning problems which is fair enough and that we had been given a bigger room and a slight refund

Neil V: It's a massive hotel conveniently located near all the popular attractions, including Pier 39 and the Golden Gate. Rooms are decent, but wifi isn't free. It's about $14.99/day for non-members but $1/day for Marriott members. The Roof top bar on the 39th floor was amazing. Also, if you want to save some money then don't buy food or drink from the hotel as they could be expensive. There is Target supermarket just across the road.Rooms: The room was serviced daily and was very clean and tidy. Water pressure in the shower isn't that great, though.Nearby activities: San Francisco shopping mall, Target, Star Bucks, Super Burgers, Sales Force Tower. Macy's, Cheesecake Factory

Lourdes Jimenez: 星巴克有我吃過的最好吃的布朗尼蛋糕。飯店特色 安靜 …

Marsha 909: A very old world, traditional hotel. It has grandeur. Gorgeous chandeliers lots of marble. And lots of old carpets. It's a juxtaposition between elegance and needing an update. There aren't a lot of amenities. The location is good it's right on the corner of Union square and sketchy. So make sure you turn right when you leave the front.

Jacob Wilson: 這是一個住宿的好地方,靠近劇院,也靠近進城的電車線。雖然飯店外面有點亂,但這不能歸咎於飯店。如果在城裡的話一定會再入住。

Denzil Roper: 我從來沒有像現在這樣受到無家可歸者收容所生活的祝福。惠特科姆酒店絕對是這次為奧巴馬國家更完美聯盟做準備的技術試驗的高潮。

Madalene: Great hotel at great lication on Market street just opposite of Orpheum Theatre. Its very interesting desighned hotel in old style. Rooms are so spacious and very well decorated and clean. The staff is so polite and kind and helpful. There is very cool restaurant and bar. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

Danny A: 5/25/22 Wednesday passing walking towards civic center bart station saw this hotel on market street. Looks very nice.

Michael Atchison: Is very underrated. Had great service with my aunt. The breakfast bacon was very good. I would highly suggest this place. The location is not the best but you are right next to a great sushi resturaunt and relativly cheap parking, there is also a boba place across the streat.Walkability: My aunt was in a wheel chair and it was the most Accessible place out of all hotels we went to.

louis flores: Amazing front desk staff that's super helpful and made my stay worth it. The room was clean, and I had no issues while staying here. Close to everything being in Union Square. Great place if your on a budget.

Amitabh Anand: Convenient location, clean spacious rooms, a nice cozy hotel for a couple of days stay...they mention breakfast but it is more of a set menu of pre-cooked options, a bread counter, fresh fruits and juices, milk, muesli and coffee...but the spread is not bad and adequate for a quick breakfast to get your day startedRooms: Spacious, cleanNearby activities: Union Square is walkableSafety: Located in Twnderloin which is notorious for homeless menace, but the hotel is safe with a bustling pub downstairsWalkability: Walkable, but best to avoid walking at night given that the area is rife with the homelessFood & drinks: Plenty of options - pubs cafes restaurants

Katrina L. Coker: - Need room key to access elevator floors. I appreciated this level of security.- Great price for the location and amenities.- Staff very responsive to concerns.Cons:- My room faced an alley and was loud at night around trash pickup time. With ear plugs and white noise, not a big deal but annoying.- Very small room, like living in a Tiny House for the week. Fine for me but could be surprising for more than one person.- Only shower, no where to prop leg to shave :

Sonja: Rooms: Clean, comfortable and large rooms.Safety: As per all cities, always be vigilant about your surroundings. I felt perfectly safe at Hotel G and its surrounding streets.Walkability: Close to Powell Street tram car, Union Square and plenty of restaurants, shops and Oracle Park.

Rebecca Oreamuno: Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value

William Gordon: . In the closet is an iron and full sized ironing board, and the bathroom has a hair dryer and dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The room itself was spacious and comfortable

Cagampang, Joli Anne P.: Exceptional service, lavish accommodations, a lavish escape from the ordinary.

Paulo Lee: We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit SFO.Nearby activities: SFMOMA, Japantown, Golden Gate Park, Chinatown, Haight Ashbury, Alcatraz, the Piers, Fisherman's Wharf, Explratorium, Japanese Tea Garden and so, so many places to eat!Safety: They lock the front door between 7pm and 7am. You need a key card to go up the elevator.

David Cunningham: floors, wooden baseboards, heat and air controlled by window unit. The Lobby area is very rundown looking, However the rooms are very clean, nicely painted, newer furniture and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is tiled all the way through the shower - the bathroom is very clean. Overall I felt comfortable staying there. The service was top notch - my room was always cleaned, they picked up after me, they made the bed replaced towels and soap. Honestly the first hotel I can remember where I truly felt taken care of.The location sucks. On the one hand if you walk a few blocks one way, you'll end up in a high end shopping area. On the other hand you are pretty much surrounded but drugged out homeless, and some very sketchy areas especially at night. It's very sad and it's very alarming at night. In fact this place is locked by 7pm. The hotel is less than a mile from the convention center which makes walking easy. Also due to it's location ... It's always noisy outside. There is always alarms or people spazzing out or screaming outside making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.Overall it's no Fairmont, but it's not a bad place to stay if you Uber around at night.Safety: They lock up by 7pm. The area is very sketchy - tons of drugged out homeless it's very sad. Be careful walking at night.Walkability: Very accessible to shopping and restaurants via walking.Food & drinks: There is an Italian restaurant attached. Tons of places to eat in the city within walking distance or Uber.

Gary Brown: .The hotel is wonderful: period furniture and ceilings; elevator works well and retains century-old charm; the wood-work, wooden floors in rooms. Preserved oldness throughout the hotel.

Freeman Baldwin: Two minute walk to Union Square and cable car. San Francisco has made major changes.. Union Square is completely cleaned up. There was no homeless people there. I like to get on the cable car at Union Square and pass up the long lines Market. There are a lot of retail vacancies around Union Square.G Hotel was a great place to stay. The inside has been completely renovated. The workmanship is immaculate. They preserved some of the old features such as some flooring, elevator banister, etc.San Francisco Police Department has a heavy police presence and a portable substation at Union Square. I felt very safe there. I enjoyed sitting in chairs early in the morning without being pestered.

Liam Fitzgerald: Walkability: Super close to the BART and other major hotspotsHotel highlights Quiet, Great value …

Monica Racy: To our surprise, the manager is Brazilian, warm service, we loved it!Walkability: Located in the center, you can walk a lot around the neighborhood.

Burrberry Simpson: One of the Best Hotels in San Francisco. They are affordable the cleaning Man does a very good job the showers are very clean also the bathrooms are very clean. The Staff are down to Earth and Respectable. The Hotel is quiet at night and the staff pay attention to who comes in so it is very safe. The rooms are a good size a little bigger than the standard hotel room. The T.V.'s work with no problem and most of the rooms have a fridge & microwave. It's a Good Place

Wu Feng: but was very difficult to get to — had to go to the 7th floor and descend two floors to get to it.Rooms: Impeccable. Loved the desk area that overlooked the bay and the city. Unbelievable views while working.Walkability: Easy walking access to the conference hotel that I was in town for.Noteworthy details: The hotel is currently under renovation, making the fitness center hard to get to. This Hilton property had TWO Peloton bikes that were configured and set up properly.I was originally going to stay for four nights, but shortened it to three due to the massively escalated nightly rate for nights 2, 3, and 4. Roughly 33% higher

Marc Barrison: the food was tasty with large portions .The room appeared to be recently updated. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had a city view king. We really appreciated the full size desk/table than runs across the entire window side of the room. Great place for the laptop and other gear as well as other items.Used the gym, nice, clean and with plentiful equipment.Location at the edge of Chinatown, with in walking distance of the Embarcadero and Fishermans Wharf is excellent.Only minor complaint is the high price of parking, but we are in the heart of the city so it was not unusual and was communicated on the website when we booked.I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, this hotel met or exceeded all expectations.

Charlotte Jupp: Rooms: Functional and clean.Nearby activities: Nice hotel bar. Good location for a lot of the sights. Convenient for Powell Street and the trams.Safety: Safe enough for San Francisco. Busy area.Walkability: Can walk to a lot of locations and central.Food & drinks: Nice rooftop bar for drinks. Didn't eat food.

Leonardo Garcia: The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop bar. The rooms are old and worn out. As usual in San Francisco, it's too expensive for a terrible experience.Rooms: Terrible. Very old and worn out.

Gustavo Nadais: Region with a lot of drug addicts, which makes it scary to go out. But the hotel is still pretty cool.Rooms: Rooms ok, I expected more for the price. But OK.Safety: Hotel security, especially at night or on busier days, is good, but they are very rude. American profile. The streets around are full of drug addicts and homeless people, it's terrible.

Marco Polo: 2 blocks up on Sutter Street, great breakfast. Very good prices.

Elena Belgum (Count Talkula): This place is enormous, I forgot how big it was and that I had gotten lost there more than once. Tower one has 40 or more floors, reception areas huge and has a great but expensive store/ Deli which I think is open 24 hours. Security can be overly Vigilant and rude but considering the location and current situation and the fact that people are sleeping there, it's to be expected. If you are visiting somebody here have their room number and last name and it doesn't hurt to have picture ID and have them call them or come meet you in the lobby or leave a message at the front desk or something like that or you may not get in. The prices are more than double the last time I've been there, I don't know if there was a convention in town or that's just the current pricing or the person I know just didn't have any discounts, but this is definitely not a budget location. They also have A well-stocked gift shop, although I don't think I would rely on it for gifts for any kind of special occasion it's closer to an airport convenience store. They also have a couple of restaurants and bars, pool, hot tub, convention facilities, office equipment, 24/7 room service and maid service etcRooms: I've only seen standard rooms here. They are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are nice and well stocked and I believe most if not all of the rooms have balconies.Nearby activities: Great location near Union Square and the Theater District also near the tenderloin, so don't leave anything in your car if you park here. I wouldn't even leave your car outside of their parking lot or it may not be there when you get back. SF does not have a ton of 24-hour activities and businesses like it used to but if you're going to find them it'll be near that hotel.Safety: Don't walk around this neighborhood altered alone or you are likely to be targeted for robbery or something similar. I would not leave my car there overnight if it was nice and definitely not if it had anything inside . Great for shopping but don't leave any valuables unattended. Great for bars and restaurants but a pricey area, better deals available within a mile or less.Walkability: Almost all of San Francisco is extremely walkable, the tenderloin is much dirtier than it used to be and it's not advisable to walk in anything other than closed-toed shoes and not provocatively dressed unless you like a whole lot of attention. Also keep your wallet hidden and be friendly but not overly friendly if it's late at night. You can see Union Square from a street performers, Broadway level theater, a lot of bars and restaurants and shopping and cable cars, Market street, the ferry building, the Embarcadero, Grace Cathedral and a lot of other great sites and stuff to do within easy walking distance although you might run into a lot of hills.Food & drinks: Available 24/7 at the hotel but very pricey. Available in the area also very pricey, again go to the tenderloin for better prices but keep your wits about you and hide your money. I would recommend going up to Polk street for Napoli Pizza, and other great restaurants and bars for a younger, "hipper" crowd at a lower price than the Union Square area, you'll be passing through the tenderloin to get there which is possibly too Hip for most people and much lower pricing unless you're buying drugs or ice cream. LolNoteworthy details: Most likely the largest hotel in the city, great location, clean professional Etc but much higher pricing than other smaller and possibly more fun hotels which may not offer the same amenities or hours.
