Vanida Vae: They offer a terrific free walking tour of Chinatown. Our guide was lively, offered lots of historical information, and took us to spots you wouldn't stumble across on your own. The tour included free Hong Kong milk tea, egg tart, fortune cookie and tea samples! The folks at the center were welcoming and helpful as well.

corinne vanderhaegen: I love this place full of Chinese shops. The change of scenery is total.

Eddie Valadez: I was able to visit the Chinatown Visitor Information Center for the first time and I was impressed by the greetings from the customer service staff. I am impressed by the Ginseng display and the brochures available. I am happy that the Visitor Center exist because the staff provided me with many recommendations for historical sites and food recommendations.

James Baker: A must place to visit if in San Francisco. There is no admission to the island, however there is a fee to take the boat to the island. The views from Alcatraz are amazing. A FYI there is a lot of walking on the island, a lot of up hill. There are some people movers but it's first come first serve. There is an audio tour of the cell house which is very interesting. Plan about half a day between the ferry to and from and touring the island.

Jen Kamahoʻi Mather: This NPS maritime interpretive exhibit has to be the most impressively curated little gem I've seen from the NPS. It's immersive with nearly every nook and cranny of the exhibit holding specific and well researched information. I usually find at least a few items that are misspelt or have incorrect information, but this was pretty faultless. I also enjoyed that all of the interactive pieces were working!Completely wowed by the entire little space and the show stopper was that lighthouse light spinning in the middle! Amazing. We didn't get to see everything because although small, it is packed full. A place to return to and maybe even get on the ships next time!Go here. Stay for a long time!

Addy: Really wonderful place, talked to Ed and it was wonderful. He let us know the history of San Francisco with enthusiasm. David Curry: This is a wonderful, must-see museum depicting the history of the San Francisco waterfront. The museum tells the story of maritime San Francisco from the time of Native Americans to modern day. World class models, excellent videos, and recreations of all the different facets of the lives lived by the sea are on display. Sights and sounds of life along the waterfront are depicted in vivid detail. No crowds and no wait to get in. Don't miss this if you are in the Fisherman's Wharf area.

Tuur de Ridder: This Welcome Center tells everything about the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is also a shop with souvenirs and books.

Seydi Alvarenga: beautiful place 🤩🤩

Lluis Higini Melero Peris: Modified. There are many places that have a correlation with the Golden Gate Bridge, an icon of the city of San Francisco. In this case it was visiting the Welcome Center, a perfect place to gather information and obtain first information about this spectacular bridge. Although there are several places from which to start the adventure to see the bridge, this for me would be the starting place of the G. G. B. adventure. When I see the photos, the memories still last.

Thảo Linh: The check-in point to see the Golden Gate Bridge is very convenient and reasonable. There is a lot of information about the bridge and its construction process, as well as souvenirs for sale.

테디: Two-way visit photo restaurant

danessa itaya: Gorgeous walk across the bridge.

Cali Explorer: Pros:- 🌉Scenic Views🏞️: Great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay, with opportunities to see Alcatraz and the city skyline.- 📜Informative🔍: Helpful staff to enhance visitor understanding of the bridge’s history.- ☕Facilities: The site is well-equipped with cafes, clean bathrooms, and a gift shop, making it convenient for tourists. ☕🚽🎁Cons:- 👥Crowded: It's too crowded, especially with tourists at peak times. 🙅‍♂️- 🚗Noise: Walking across the bridge can be noisy due to the humming sounds of the wind and proximity to a busy highway. 🌬️

Karina Shinzato: Nice spot to take some pictures. Easy access through bus, public restrooms available and there’s also a cafeteria and souvenir shop

monica gautam: Great tourist attraction... You can spend hours there.

Katrina L. Cp. Juan José: Super good tour

Catherine Phillips: They need to have the cruise ship be specific about where we meet the bus, it delayed our tour for an hour. Other than that glitch the tour was very good.

Brandon Siracuse: .I chose to get off the bus in Sausalito after Muir Woods and grab some lunch and catch the ferry back to SF. Great experience overall. Just would recommend driving yourself to Muir Woods if you want to spend more than 1.5 hours there.

Noel Rivas (PV Smile): Stunning views of Adam Francisco Bay

Angela Coto Perez: Great Tour! Staff onsite were friendly and informative as well as our driver, Erika. The audio worked perfectly and was easy to understand. It’s helpful if you follow along with the map and route provided at the link. This is an excellent way to get around the city and see several of the more known sites in a day. I will absolutely use them again. Highly recommend!

Zette S: We had a great time!

Mattgruff: James was a great tour guide. Very informative and funny. The drive across the Golden Gate bridge was beautiful and Muir forest was amazing. We decided to take the ferry from Sausalito. All in all a wonderful trip.

Kennard Yu: I really enjoyed this experience, and our guide was also really friendly. He took us to places where the other tour buses usually won’t go to, such as the palace of Fine Arts and the Painted Ladies. It was a bit longer than I thought, but overall we got a nice tour of the city and had a good time.

Heidy Gouvea: Nice to walk around

Daryl Tan: We took the goexplorer card and was easy to redeem. Escape from the rock was a passable substitute for the Alcatraz tour just to go near and listen to the stories. And we were really near the seals at pier39 when we went out to sea. Hoponhopoff tour already took one whole day if we really explore each of the sites in San Francisco before coming back on.

Jordan Sheppard: My family and I took a vacation to San Francisco and I really feel like I got the full experience thanks to City pass .Without it, I would have missed so many different sights and memories!

Judith Wilbourn: ; and, everyday a trip to Pier 39. Wow!! Such Fun

Michael Chu: Excellent Value

JenniferRose Barker: We enjoyed the Go Cars when we first arrived and took the GPS tour to the Golden Gate Bridge and back. Our kids were passagers & love hearing all about where we were along the way! We took the big bus tour the next day and rode the whole tour while getting on and off whenever we pleased. The muni car was our last experience and our family had so much fun on that unique ride in San Fran! This was such a perfect way to enjoy the city!

Ken Varias: It was a great purchase!I love the fact that I was able to see and tour the city without paying anymore!Pre-purchasing this pass is a great decision! All we need is an iphone app and show it to all the attractions that is included in the Go City pass which I think is good enough for our 5 days stay in San Francisco!Would buy it again!Im planning to go to Vegas and Dubai which is included in their Go city pass!

M D: Plan ahead to get the most out of this. Start with the hop on/off bus as you'll get a better idea of where things are. Would be great if hop on/off bus could be used for two days on a two-day card to get to the locations. We managed several venues, including two museums . Made the mistake of asking about the card use while passing Ripley's the day before we planned on activating. A newbie at Ripley's actually activated the pass without our permission and it was a pain to get it reset. It was all supposed to have been sorted out by the Go card office for use the following day, but the following day, it registered as expired on the Hop on/off bus and Museum of Science, where we spent another 45 minutes on the phone sorting it out. Venues should be prepared to answer customer questions when asked-they need training to think like a tourist and respond accordingly. I haven't worked out if it worked out economy-wise-best to stick to higher priced venues to get value.

Elisabetta Marcuzzi: Mandatory tour to get to know better San Francisco. I suggest to take the tour at the beginning of your stay to appreciate the city and its history. The focus of the experience is on Chinatown and the Financial District, but Enzo-Dany suggested us also other tours and activities. Megan Horanic: and had missed the return time by over 30 minutes, when one of the other 2 people who was with her returned to the bus, he asked if she could get in touch with them or go get them. That person stated that they weren't answering her and they were in the cafe eating, they chose not to be on time. Brendan explained he could not keep waiting as it took time from the rest of the tour and participants, as well as the fact that some folks were continuing on to Alcatraz. He offered her the option to stay or to take her things and be left with them. In the end, he did not leave we were ALL inconvenienced. I normally wouldn't bother to include any of this in a review, but for two reasons I have. #1 - I think as a business owner/employee it is a delicate thing to hold a customer accountable for their role in affecting other customer's experiences, and in the moment this was handled very well. #2 - The person who was late, showed no regret to her fellow tourmates & then accused Brendan of degrading her friend. Alaska, if you're reading this or leave a review I want you to know you degraded your young friend by putting her in that position, you negatively influenced other's experience, you could have just acknowledged what you did and said I'm sorry, but like listening to the schedule and following it, this proved too much for you.I guess that's a long way of saying, don't think twice, book this tour. It really was the perfect day with must-see locations, a great time on the bus, lots of laughs, and I don't want to spoil any of the little touches that made it perfect, but the soundtrack of the day was just one of the many things that made it awesome! I would also like to add, we were the only people that didn't go on to Alcatraz & Brendan was kind enough to recommend a few places in North Beach/Little Italy, as well as drop us off there so we could take advantage. It is the little things that make a big difference!

Frances Carreon: Brendan is the best tour and tour-guide ever! Give hints on favorite sights and good restaurants to go to. A little history with humor plus fun. No dull moments, only enjoyment.

Rachel Hawkins: Brendan was a great guide. He made the tour so fun. 10/10 would do again.

Preety Bhandari: An excellent tour made very enjoyable by Brendan, our guide. The trivia he shared, along with his choice of music made for an interesting day. Thank you Brendan.

p b: The 'Muir Woods, San Francisco, and Sausalito, in one day!' Tour with Brendan was a great introduction to some well-known sights and some not so well-known sights. The information was given in a relaxed and humorous way. Snacks and bottles of water were provided too.

Ryan Clark: I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Brendan is a superb tour guide and clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the city he lives in.On the way to Muir Woods he stops at key photo opportunities in the city and points out so many places of interest as well as recommendations for lunch / dinner. Our only regret is that we didn’t do the tour sooner in our trip as we’d have known of mote places to see after he pointed them out.Muir Woods is breathtaking and the 90 minutes we spent there was just the right amount of time to take it all in.Sausalito is a beautiful town and a nice location for lunch.Brendan; thank you!

Walid Choueiri: Our family of five loved the tour. The guide was very informative and more importantly entertaining!

Yvette Ebersole Ronquillo (Yvette): Brendan is Great Toir Guide . Highly recommended.

Stephanie Kelliher: My family and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a tour of San Francisco, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods and Sausalito. It exceeded all our expectations. Our driver was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and landmarks, but also displayed a high level of professionalism throughout the entire journey. They were punctual, ensuring we made the most of our time, and their passion for the city truly shone through in every detail they shared. The tour was comprehensive, covering all the iconic sights while also delving into hidden gems that truly made the experience unforgettable. Overall, this tour was worth every penny and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore San Francisco with an expert guide at the helm.

Kacy Rizer: My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with SF Excursions and Brendan today! His in depth knowledge of the city he loves really made it special! I highly recommend this company for your tour of SF, Muir Woods and Sausalito! We’re so glad we took Brendan’s advice for dinner too. The Original Joe’s was so delicious!

Terrinique Banner: This tour was awesome do not hesitate to book. Brendan was super knowledgeable and super passionate about his city. I learned so much and will book again.

Desmond Lim: if the tour included more sites

Celeste Jones: Fantastic tour. We only had about one full day in San Francisco, and this was a good way to see and learn a lot in a short amount of time. So many stories and data about the city. Fascinating information. The tour made me want to spend more in depth time at several places we saw along the journey.

Chris Shaw: Brendan was a great tour guide, he shared lots of interesting facts about San Francisco and played the best classic songs about SF for us in between. Was a great way to see some iconic SF neighborhoods and loved exploring Muir Woods.

Barb Algrim: We had a wonderful day with our tour guide Brandon. We could not recommend him more highly. He was informative, fun and very engaging. His personal approach made all of us so comfortable. What a fun day and way to see San Francisco!
