There are two locations, one in the Mission and one in Nob Hill. Both are amazing and I love both equally. The instructors, the quality of the classes, and the environment are what keeps me coming back. Even on bad days, my mood is lifted after taking a class. Rebecca, the wonderful human that works the front desk, makes my day EVERYDAY. She is AMAZING and makes me feel soooo welcomed. The relationships you get to build with the instructors are also incredible. They know you by name, they are so engaging, they correct your form, and they only want to help you become a better version of yourself!
Rahul Rajeev: HitFit has been my favorite gym in SF. Michelle David: . The facilities are clean and stylish. The workout programs are actually fun, but they get the job done, too. Plus, there's an awesome sense of community that makes every trip there a blast. I've checked out all their spots, and they're all solid.
Jesse Miller: Excellent, experienced and committed training staff. Scott and Kris were my training superheroes as I fought back to recover from a major injury. Location is very convenient to downtown / soma with a second location in Hayes Valley. I use P4L to compliment my Equinox membership.
Jenn Yan: , and only ever did cardio for exercise so the idea of lifting weights and strength training was foreign to me. The moment I walked into Perform For Life, that intimidation feeling I always get when I walk into a gym immediately went away. The atmosphere here is so positive! All of the coaches here are super welcoming, supportive, and knowledgeable. It really feels like a tight knit community when you come in.The biggest thanks for my new found confidence in myself, and love for lifting weights and working out goes to my Coach Kris Gallimore. I was first paired with him based on my specific goals and his experience previously training tactical athletes. He's patient, encouraging, super informative, and most of all so genuine and makes working out so much fun and enjoyable. The programs he's put together for my goals are top-notch, and we do so much different variety of workouts each session. Every session I feel challenged, and so proud of myself for accomplishing something I did not even know I was capable of. My most recent accomplishment was 30 inch box jumps!! I can’t say thank you enough to him for encouraging me to challenge myself both mentally and physically every session. Seriously, I could rave about him for hours. They also have small group classes that's taught by amazing coaches to supplement the work you are doing with your coach 1:1. These classes are capped at about 5 people so you still have that intimate community feeling.Any fitness goals that you have, Perform For Life can get you there. They will help you meet, and exceed your own expectations that you did not even know you were capable of.
Liz Frome: Everyone at the FiDi facility is very welcoming and the facility is very clean and convenient to get to.I truly feel this has not only helped me with my golf game in a short amount of time but also for the Game of Life!Liz Frome

Ivon Cervantes: Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism
Janet Lederer: Positive Quality
Stefano Pepe: in keeping me active and fit, despite the pandemic and the lockdown. Don't miss the park classes with Tony, Jacob and Yu!
Austin Stubbs: thanks Zach!
Aldrich Waren: I got nothing but love for the P4L Fam! It was my first time ever doing personal training, and I'm glad I put my trust in them. From consultation, to my first day of training, to the small group classes, I've learned so much about fitness and my own body during this process. I don't know about you, but I've definitely walked into many gyms feeling intimidated and scared to ask questions about how to use machines or how to work out. But at P4L, they've created such a welcoming and friendly culture where you can just keep asking questions and learn about fitness that you can take with you years after. Bryant and Justine are super friendly, and they genuinely care about everyone who walks through those doors, which is why the culture matches exactly that. The coaches and staff are skilled, very knowledgeable, and know how to adapt the program to match your goals.Shoutout to Brandon who manages the FiDi location. I trained with him for a year and a half and he's helped me work on my flexibility, balance, agility, as well as core strength since my goal for personal training was to get better at hiphop dance. I also really like how we can talk about all the new hiphop albums dropping, and basketball.
Kathleen Garrity: during this crazy time - hit them up. They will take care of you.
Celina J.: I wanted to commend Mimi for her energy and consistency throughout my virtual training experience so far. As hard as it is to stay motivated, her willingness to keep encouraging me is very much appreciated. She is knowledgeable and has been giving me workouts that target areas pertaining to my fitness goals. I have already seen improvement in some of my problem areas, which is extremely exciting. There are some exercises I have never tried before which makes me look forward to our workouts. She goes out of her way to keep me accountable and make our workouts fun. She honestly makes the perfect trainer. 10/10 recommend!Thank you Mimi for your organization, consistency, support and energy. As a former athlete trying to bounce back, you have been my motivation to get my health back on track. I am excited to keep working with you throughout the year.
Asheley Bamberg: Mianni is one of the best trainers I’ve ever come across! She brings a good vibe to training sessions and is well educated in all the exercises she brings to the classes! If you truly want to get fit and fab Mianni is the go to! Don’t sleep on her! Summer is right around the corner

Stefan Broda: Top notch Crossfit like Box in the Financial District. Would recommend stopping in for a class even if you’re only in town for a bit traveling!!!

Monthly unlimited rate is pretty affordable if compared to luxury gyms or private training. It’s really the best group workout I’ve ever taken part in. Lots of bang for your buck

Zachary Robinson: Flagship is the best! I’ve been coming for a few months now and as a newbie to CrossFit style workouts I was worried about being able to keep up with the exercises. But everyone is super supportive and helpful, especially if you’re new. I’m excited to keep coming for years to come!
Boston Blake: World-class coaches and a well-maintained gym are just the packaging. It's the community that makes Flagship so incredible. Everyone was welcoming and supportive from day one, even though I was a to total newbie to CrossFit-style training. I can't say enough good things about Flagship! Check it out for yourself, even if you're just a little bit curious.
Kalyani Iyer Burgess: Best type of workout, great community and overall vibes! As someone who has tried just about every type of gym and workout out there, I can't emphasize how great Flagship is. The classes are geared towards building strength and flexibility in a safe and steady way. The coaches are all very attentive and genuinely care about your form and help with modifications to suit you. I love the open space and layout and the efficiency of the overall workout. Truly the best gym for everyone's needs.
Marcos Pinheiro: A great community. Coaches are friendly and professional. I love their passion about what they do. Always patient with the students, as well as the people who attend who are super positive and welcoming with me. I highly recommend the Flagship-Castro.
Tyler: Great gym, great coaches. Classes are cross-fit-ish but more correctly “functional fitness”. You’ll get great strength and conditioning in the group classes, safely.
John Minervini: The staff here are knowledgeable and the workouts are well programmed. Caleb is the best. Highly recommended!
Miguel Gonzalez: Excellent. Beautiful facilities, impecable equipment, nice and professional coaches. Best gym I’ve ever been to.
Aldrich Tan: Great gym with both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Anton Arapetyan: Back to working out with Upper Market this year. Outstanding community, dedicated coaches, and productive classes! This is really a flagship of workouts. Extremely happy that the community stays strong and has the same vibe as years and years before.
Patrick O'Donnell: I love this gym! The instructors are amazing and great about giving me 1:1 guidance so that I'm learner proper form. There's also such a great community here - everyone is super friendly, welcoming, and supportive.
Steven Hines: Dedicated and friendly staff. I have a lot of questions because I’m new to this sort of athletic training. Give it a try for a month and you may find that you like it.
Santiago Corona-Dailey: Even though I've recently joined, I can already tell Flagship Gym is a great place. The coaches have been so helpful in getting me started on my fitness journey. It's a welcoming and supportive environment!
Ryan Starks: Flagship is a world-class gym. As a member for over 6 years, I cannot speak more highly of the professional coaches, positive community, and premier facility. Flagship's programming that integrates strength, mobility, and conditioning -- paired with coaching focused on technique and safety -- has boosted my confidence and helped me significantly improve my overall health. I'd highly recommend Flagship to anyone in SF looking to take their fitness to the next level.
Aliza Stone: I’ve only been coming here a few weeks but really enjoying it so far. I switched from using a personal trainer at a gym and really appreciate that this is a balance between still being coached and having guidance, while also being more independent and forcing me to learn / pay more attention to what I’m doing. The community also seems great- have met a lot of people who’ve been coming here for a long time and seem to love it.
Vincent M: Excellent crew and coaches. Friendly atmosphere.
Niels Munk Plum: they do daily classes and a offer daily program you can do on your own as well.
Itay Dror: Great facility, great people! What else do you need

Amanda von Almen: Been going here for almost 2 years and love it!! Very clean, great trainers, and a fantastic workout!

Ali Uro-May: You'll always get a great workout at Yubalance, they have an awesome variety of HIIT classes and the trainers are all great - especially Joshua and Maike. It's a family owned business and they're really killing the game and have recently opened up two more locations. Join Yubalance, it's worth it!
Maggie Stark: Great studio with intimate classes. Workouts are constantly evolving and vary from ball classes to cardiofocused to muscle building/toning. Joshua is personally my favorite instructor.
Heather Ng: Found this place a year ago, and it's only gotten better! Each of the trainers has their own unique style to switch up the workouts. They are professional, personable and a pleasure to be around. The focus is on quality and form over speed and weight. I highly recommend this studio!
Vishal A: Solid group fitness classes. Comfortable environment. Friendly staff.
Guillaume Foutry: I am leaving SF and one thing on my to-do list is to write a review for these guys. Where do I start? They are amazing, super friendly and so customer-oriented people. I had a few classes with Rory and it was very helpful, gave me great tips and ideas on what to focus on. And each time I saw him in the neighbourhood, it was always super friendly, asking questions about me, my job, etc. A great professional and a great person! And I have to mention Lynn, the Yoga teacher. Never was a fan of Yoga before going to her classes, but she totally changed my perspective on it, and I have made some real progresses and I love it. Her class are usually 10 people max, so she can look at everyone and give you advice/tips. And she will never hesitate to spend 10 more minutes with you after the class if you have questions. If you are looking for a place to get fit and more flexible, this is the place!

Georgi Matev: Fantastic and welcoming gym regardless of whether you are just starting out, coming back after some time, or are an athlete with a ton of experience.
Pranav Ravichandran: A hidden gem. There's a real, actual community and "working class" feel to the place. Inside the gym everyone's the same and the fun and education of getting fit together takes precedence here. Highly highly recommend for both physical and mental well being.
John Hall: Rocks
Gwyneth Price-Ahau: FCCF is so welcoming and a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for great workouts, facilities, and community. The classes are well structured and the coaching staff is super knowledgeable. Scaling options and adjustments for injuries are always offered. These folks are so nice and make amazing training/accountability buddies. Moved out of SF recently and leaving this community will be one of the hardest changes.
Andrew Cheng (Druoo): great community, coaches, and programming!

Ali Wu: This gym is neat and prioritizes free weight training. It offers convenient access through an app, enabling you to register and handle your membership entirely online. I'm not a fan of the manual check-in process in addition to using door access. It would be more efficient to solely rely on door access for verifying membership. The manual check-in just adds unnecessary extra work.
Mulan Ramani: This gym is fantastic and Josh is amazing! I came here to find a personal trainer who could help teach me how to work with weights without injury and also help me stay accountable.I definitely found that with Josh. He's a wealth of knowledge on everything fitness related. I used to feel twinges in my knee and back when trying to lift and he showed me how to properly warm up and stretch and those all went away. I also felt myself getting stronger and more confident with different exercises.Literally one of my favorite people , but sadly I had to move away from SF. Either way highly recommend giving this gym a try!
Stephen Ramirez: I honestly feel like this gym is the best kept secret in the city. No nonsense.
Natty Coleman: Really friendly staff and trainers. Good selection of well maintained equipment, also just super clean!
Rodrigo Jose: I'm loving it
Akash Pandey: Love this gym. It’s got all the equipment you need. Very clean and well-organized. The staff is chill and friendly.
Akash Goyal: Lot of squat racks, its never crowded even in peak hours, and its very clean. Cant ask for anything more!
Venu Santhakumar: Great location, not too big, generally nice and quiet and easy to get equipment along with nice facilities.
Eric Nguyen: Lots of equipment focused on natural movement. Great trainers. No group classes, unfortunately.
Nate s: Great gym. A lot of free weights and several squat racks. Not a ton of machines.
