John Golding: The SOMA location of Fitness SF is a great environment for work outs. I came here for classes a few years ago but then after covid, they knocked out the classroom and made a nice green area for warmups, stretching, etc.About 18 months ago I started a personal training program here since my trainer before at Transbay moved on. I started working out with Nik Sandevski. I chose him since HIIT was listed as one of his areas of emphasis. Nik is a great trainer. He pushes me more than I would working out by myself. We also have fun talking about other things as well. Nik knows when to add weights and is always receptive to options from one workout to the next. Nik always mixes things up so I don't get bored!Overall this is a fantastic location - easy parking and friendly staff.

Moby Davis: Unlike the completely neglected Castro location, this one is maintained well, more equipment, and overall a solid weight lifting environment.

Kwame Lovell: They were attentive to your progress and pushed you when you needed it. I enjoyed every minute of it. The gym culture is friendly and inviting but still puts you to work! I definitely felt the difference in my cardio, conditioning and technique by the end. If you're on the fence I would highly recommend it! It's and excellent experience.

Qi Wen Emily Ma: I LOVE this gym. I’ve been a HITFIT member for almost three years now, and the community I’ve built is far beyond what I can describe with words. There are two locations, one in the Mission and one in Nob Hill. Both are amazing and I love both equally. The instructors, the quality of the classes, and the environment are what keeps me coming back. Even on bad days, my mood is lifted after taking a class. Rebecca, the wonderful human that works the front desk, makes my day EVERYDAY. She is AMAZING and makes me feel soooo welcomed. The relationships you get to build with the instructors are also incredible. They know you by name, they are so engaging, they correct your form, and they only want to help you become a better version of yourself!

They offer intense HIIT and boxing workouts, month long bootcamps for some serious conditioning.For anyone looking to level up their boxing technique, Leo's classes are a must. I would also jump at every chance to work out with Angela, Cole or Simon!The gym has been modified to ensure social distancing and frequent cleaning for safe workouts during the pandemic.

The Transbay and Embarcadero locations are by far my favorites to go to and get a good workout. I’ve been training with Emma Salaam, who helped me lose 30 pounds last year. She is an amazing trainer who listened to any concerns I had and helped me with back pain. Emma helped me so much with my fitness goals by giving me dietary suggestions and coming up with workout plans I could do when not seeing her. Emma is truly an amazing trainer, and I love working with her.

Ali Wu: This gym is neat and prioritizes free weight training. It offers convenient access through an app, enabling you to register and handle your membership entirely online. I'm not a fan of the manual check-in process in addition to using door access. It would be more efficient to solely rely on door access for verifying membership. The manual check-in just adds unnecessary extra work.

I came here to find a personal trainer who could help teach me how to work with weights without injury and also help me stay accountable.I definitely found that with Josh. He's a wealth of knowledge on everything fitness related. I used to feel twinges in my knee and back when trying to lift and he showed me how to properly warm up and stretch and those all went away. I also felt myself getting stronger and more confident with different exercises.Literally one of my favorite people , but sadly I had to move away from SF. Adam Banasiak: Brightly lit, not usually too crowded.

Taylor Hoyt: This is the only fitness SF location, and probably one of the few gyms in the entire city that is worth it. It’s a little on the smaller side, but the high quality makes up for that and then some.The equipment is very well organized. Everything is always so clean and well maintained.Most importantly for me, the members are for the most part chill and respectful of others, in stark contrast to the toxic ego lifters, creeps, and entitled bros at the SOMA, Castro, and Transbay locations, respectively.

XING Voong: The staff are super nice. I keep forgetting the lockers numbers or combo 😅 but they always help me. I’m so grateful for them.

Pattinson H: Amazing gym. Best utilization of space I’ve seen out of any gym I’ve been to in my life. Has everything you need: high ceilings, multiple turf spots, yoga/stretch room, plenty of squat racks/cardio/cables, and the smaller things like TRX, bands, etc.

Not only do they provide many different types of machines and equipment with modern bathrooms/locker rooms, but also is their staff very welcoming and supportive!Luckily, I've had the chance to work with Steven for a couple of training session. What made my experience a very special one is Steven's expertise in the field of building strength and conditioning. Moreover, he always motivated me to push further to always give 100%.Another reason why I would highly recommend Steven is that he's always very fun and makes you smile. That's one of the most important quality a fitness coach's got to have, in my opinion.

Dennis Aglipay: FitnessSF is great. I especially love this location. I've been training with Steven for about three months now, and have seen improvements in my strength and differences in my physique. He is perhaps the most impressive trainer I've ever worked with. Though he has a minimalist for my program, I have experienced maximum results. Steven is not only an expert at fitness, but he is extensively knowledgeable about nutrition as well. He ensures that I am meeting my nutritional needs for optimum sessions. We also have a fun time when we train by bantering and joking during the workout. His jokes are also pretty funny. Steven specializes in calisthenics and gymnastics strength training, and so I've learned exciting new moves that go are a change from the machines and free-weights. I highly recommend Steven!

Android Gallucci: Favorite gym in the city.Lots of racks, the upstairs yoga room is fantastic, a little turf to do some movement work on, and a pretty chill crowd with not too much riff-raff given the size and location.The staff is great, Crystal was very helpful when we spoke. She knows her stuff.Also its across from some great food. 10/10 would recommend.

This place showed up on the map and had pretty good reviews so I decided to swing by and take my chance at getting a free trial.Jax was working and he was super cool. He hooked it up and let me get a quick workout in even for free.The gym was pretty neat and all the equipment seemed pretty new. They kept the door open on the 2nd floor so good lighting was coming in as well as nice airflow. The gym was a bit small for how many people were in there, but I’m sure with proper timing this place is not too bad.Overall great spot for a quick workout and the staff I encountered were great. Would definitely recommend to others based on my 1 time experience!

Matt: What's not to like? The gym is only closed for 7 hours a day. No excuses not to get in there!
