Nick Fong: Rich Table was an extremely pleasant surprise. My wife and I were in town to catch a show and nearby was Rich Table. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive without being overly “hover-y”. And the food was just super on point. My wife and I have been to 1-star, 2-star, even 3-star Michelin restaurants. And we find ourselves really liking the 1-star experience the best. While I’m just a nobody, I think this place easily is in the 1 or 2 star caliber. The food feels like it is inspired by a great chef that clearly has a story to tell. While it ate like “fine dining” the restaurant was casual, relaxed and non-pretentious, which is exactly what I want. Great food, friendly and informative service, and overall an amazing dinner. We will definitely be back!

Dani C: .We had the sourdough bread with butter

Kai Sheng: I mean, look at this plate of greens. This wasn’t simply tossed. Someone dressed each leaf and thoughtfully placed this arrangement!Rich table blew us away with their family style meal. The service, quality of the food, and quantity of the food were excellent.Highly recommend booking in advance to enjoy this restaurant. Friday night ambience was a bit loud, and we found ourselves yelling across the table.

Megha Murali: Amazing experience! We came here after a show that ran overtime, so we were a bit late. Regardless, we were greeted with a huge smile and the cocktail menu. When cleaning up the first course of bites, our server asked if we would like to leave the sauce to eat with the bread we had left. We both found this very thoughtful because usually at these fancy restaurants I’m worried about my food getting cleaned up too quickly and not being able to enjoy everything long enough! At the end of the night we had to run off to get our car out of the parking lot and completely forgot to take our to-go bag with us. We got a missed call and voicemail to let us know, and they were going to hold it for us for another 30mins even though we were the last customers of the night and had already left! The service was amazing and so was the food. I cannot recommend this place enough!Vegetarian options: If you inform your server that you are vegetarian they will point out everything you can eat. From my experience, there was at least one dish in each section to choose from, and I didn’t order that much for myself.

Nicole Zhou: Good: 1. There is a lot of food, so if you are hungry you can get really full. 2. The service is good. 3. The ingredients are fresh and good quality.Bad: 1. This is Asian fusion food that I think unfortunately not comparable to authentic Chinese cuisine or a top notch sushi place. The dishes look fancy with nice ingredients, however, are made with less layers of tastes, mediocre cooking skills, and dominant salty sauces. I personally think the food can have a bit of more innovation and preserve the tastes at the same time. 2. The inside of the restaurant is a bit dark and furfinshed with minimalism styles, which feels nothing much to look at.

JC Marin: but more the substance and ethos of his craft and use of textures and intricate flavors. The entire staff were a delight to us during our time, which simply added to the overall experience.

Kartier: A stellar, luxurious experience. High class and fine dining at its best. Quince has retained a coveted 3 Michelin stars for several years, so expectations here are high. With that being said, service started very slow right off the bat. It took us about 5-10 minutes to be greeted, which is a long time considering how much you pay here.Nonetheless, the prix fixe was fabulous. Dishes were beautifully curated and bursting with flavor. You really get to know the head chef with his unique approach to using fresh, California vegetables. The asparagus in a hot water kettle is a must experience dish, the best asparagus of my life and it’s served with a fried hard-boiled egg portion.Be sure to try cocktails or wine. We were delighted that they were able to make a Quince martini that we enjoyed on a previous visit. Overall, I’m glad we tried! Very different from a New York 3 star Michelin restaurant - plus they send you off with hot coco and bonbons.Cons: the 22% service charge along with SF fee’s are quite obnoxious. This restaurant has higher service charges and fees than any other Michelin star restaurant in the country…but I’m not sure it’s reflected in the service as it could be fine tuned.

Andy Woo: ."Downgrading" to average 4 stars. I tried to be very objective and not let the 6 star experience from 5 years ago affect or unreasonably set my expectations too high that any imperfections would be blown out of proportion. The food was excellent. But there were minor subtle things. The service was great. But there were minor subtle things. The atmosphere was not on par to previous to the renovation.Food: excellent food. Minor: one of the asparagus dishes. The main asparagus served from the infusion glass pot was slightly over cooked.Service: The principal server was great. Professional, polite, friendly. One of the non-principal servers

Adam Vieira: Of course it was delicious, why wouldn't it be? It was a unique experience with the field guide notebook menu and nostalgia centered experience. The 5th star comes from the service. Not only was it the best, most comprehensive service I've ever received, but after the meal I was given tips and recommendations about the neighborhood, and later in the night I randomly ran into a couple of the chefs at a bar and they recognized me and made references to specific events from the meal earlier in the day and were generally extremely nice and funny and friendly, even after they were required to serve me. Wonderful experience all around. I would recommend it to anyone.

Squirrel Friend: Lazy Bear is another amazing dining experience in San Francisco. The menu offers a woodsy flair with foraged ingredients. Interesting and unexpected flavors such as pine are incorporated really well into the menu. The seafood is handled expertly. It is also a great place for lamb/mutton lover as two types of really delicious lamb chops are served for main protein. Desserts are exceptional especially the blueberry course. The draw back is that couple dishes are heavily salted for my taste, for example the butter course. Wine pairing is great. I really recommend the Yquem flight for the dessert. The Yquem sommelier is very knowledgeable and fun to chat to if you love Yquem. Service is top notch. As a solo dining guest, I really appreciate that the staff keep up with my pace and did not make me sit through 2-3 hours for dinner. Overall, this was quite an unforgettable dinner for me.

isabelle C: The food is here amazing start to finish. The desert is was so delightful. I loved all the food here and when I went, there were a lot of fish dish and all of them were great. It was rich in flavor but still not heavy. The staff makes you feel comfortable. The service is amazing because they are not stiff and yet make you feel very attended. The atmosphere is fun like dark cabin in the mountains like cozy and grand. I will for sure come back in the future.

Rachel Bonifacio: Staff are so friendly and quirky, it's fun and casual, not a snobbish restaurant at all. The food is unforgettable — great presentation, interesting stories about the ingredients, taste chemistry was really good! I got the non alcoholic pairing and that was amazing. It's one of the best Michelin star restaurants I've ever been to.

Jeff Sharp: OMG. This was my best dining experience ever. Not only because of the amazing menu. The service was absolutely amazing, and the staff was so friendly and happy to share information about each dish and glass. This was an extremely special night for us and we will be looking forward to visiting on other special occasions in the future!!!

Shane TheMan: This was such a wonderful experience! We did the 10 course Journey menu with the journey wine pairing to go with it.I have never been to one of these types of restaurants before and was a bit apprehensive that I may not like some of the fancy ingredients, but boy, was I wrong. Every dish was crafted meticulously, and the flavors went so well together, and yet they were so distinct you could feel every one of them. The service was beyond good, every member from the front of house to the kitchen pitched in and had choreographed movements from bringing/explaining the food to changing your napkin. It was our anniversary and the even made a little card and picture and brought an extra dessert souffle. We will definitely be going again and if you are looking for place like thus, I highly recommend Birdsong for sure!!

Jason Krikorian: I recently visited Birdsong for the second time and once again, I enjoyed an absolutely fantastic dinner experience! This restaurant is extremely clean, professional, organized, and beautiful throughout. The chef is world class and a real salt of the earth gentleman! All of the food is presented beautifully and cooked perfectly!Several unique dishes made with very high quality products that are treated with respect, and prepared very thoughtfully, in order to highlight them properly. What comes to mind is a very high level of cooking with a delicate touch. The main ingredients always seem shine. In my opinion the chef has a very intelligent approach and excellent judgement when it comes to the way he uses ingredients and seasoning. The staff are very well trained and completely focused, both in the kitchen, as well as in the front of the house. A great team of quality people! The beverage pairing has been very enjoyable on both of my visits.I was honored and privileged to have had an opportunity to be given a tour of the entire restaurant by the chef/owner and was so impressed by this immaculate and perfectly organized, every single square inch of this restaurant space was.It would certainly be a mistake to not visit Birdsong, any time you are in the area.I’m currently planning my next visit, and really looking forward to returning with friends and family!!!

Ellen Siebenlist: and sitting at the bar. It takes the culinary experience to a whole new level as you see the teamwork and dedication of each person in the kitchen due to the open kitchen model. The tasting menu can be curated to accommodate any allergies if you can communicate with the restaurant prior to your reservation. I'm allergic to red wine, and the sommeliers made other selections + even printed a whole new menu on the spot!On top of the tasting menu, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend adding coffee and chocolate chip cookies to end your evening. They have decaf as a choice for all guests who may be more sensitive to caffeine. Enjoy!

Kevin Chavarria: I had the luck of being able to get a last second reservation there recently and was completely blown away by the experience. The food alone had me wanting to replicate the dishes and techniques at home, even the glazed carrot dish was an artform. The staff were amazing in attentiveness and even the vibe made me forget I was in the middle of a major city.

Yao Wong: One of my favorite restaurants in SF. Exciting, New American cuisine with a strong seafood and meat component - they don't shy away from strong flavors here. Definitely sit at the counter if possible to watch the kitchen in action. The neighborhood it's in is gritty, but the restaurant feels like a cocoon that transports you away to a land of superlative food.

Melanie Panergo: Such fond memories here, sad to hear they closed. Back in 2016, COI was under different management so we had a different experience compared to those who visited towards its closure. This was actually my first “fine dining” experience. It might actually still be one of the most artful presentation of courses I’ve ever seen.

Wendi: Delicious and every dish was well thought out. Courses consisted of mainly seafood harvested from local areas. Pre fixe menu only. Tea pairing goes nicely with meal.

Terrance Womack: A legendary restaurant with a team that is more like an orchestra working in perfect harmony to achieve perfection for each guests unique experience.

Kristy Carpentier: Absolutely delicious!

Diem Nguyen: Delicious 😋

Sara Al-Zanki: Loved the food. The chef was amazing and quite humble I had some dietary restrictions and so he changed a complete dish just for myself which I thought was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for the lovely experience.

lou mi: served in winter. Not only did he change chefs last year During the "dangerous period", Coi retained its two-star Michelin position and received another star this year, making Coi the seventh three-star Michelin restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area.

M F: We had a great time here. Quality of the food wasn’t bad at all. Portion is small but enough for a light dinner. Good selections of wine.

Amy Higgins: Beautiful venue. It can be a bit noisy when even half full. The service is attentive yet we still need to ask a few times for things. We were a large group, so that’s completely understandable. The food is delicious. Some dishes are perfect for sharing while others are individual works of art. I kinda wish all the dishes were for family style - could add to the upscale comfort style.

Kanishka Seth: Nothing less than promised. Super service, great wine selection and delicious food. I didn’t think much of the restaurant decor, and to be fair, it was a bit underwhelming. Restaurants of this quality usually have lavish set ups and better artwork. We were fortunate to have tried Chef Seth’s ‘A tasting of vegetables’ menu. Highlights included the truffle risotto, and the kohlrabi mains. Absolutely spectacular and so flavourful. Desserts were underwhelming. The restaurant does not have a parking lot, which was also surprising, but there’s a safe-ish looking garage across the street. Pretty good overall, wonderful experience and would go back to try another feature vegetarian menu.

D Gonzales: . They really are better than some of the 3 Michelin star restaurants in the city.Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate a dietary restriction but don’t go crazy!

Christopher Barnum-Dann: Absolutely stunning restaurant. Don't sleep on this amazing place. Food was so well thought out and compelling. Balanced and perfectly executed. Service was so warm and kind and such great descriptions. Pairings were amazing, and that is very rare. Raphael was amazing.Such an all-around experience.

Chef Chris Barnum-Dann: Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was extremely delicious, well executed, beautiful, and served at the perfect temperature. My highlights were the signature rigatoni, quail, lobster, caviar course, and the desserts! The service was beyond exceptional as well. Everyone not only cared for me impeccably, they had great energy between each other. This gives way to a wonderful experience that leaves you wanting to go back.Lastly, the wine pairings! Most of my experiences with wine pairings are not meaningful and don't actually pair well with the dish.Raphael was not only an extremely knowledgeable and professional sommelier. He loves wine! I found most of all the wines paired incredibly well and he explained not only the bottle but WHY the pairing worked.Incredible nightLiterally can't wait to go back.

Eva Monova: The ambiance is nice. The service was great. There was something off with the food. I ordered a pasta meal that was seasonead with big chunks of black pepper, which didn't feel and taste paired up well. The portions were really small. Your palate can't indulge in the taste of the food. There is an urge to keep on ordering meals to feel satisfied.

Jonathan Nagar: was all excellent. As far as food goes, I do often have constructive feedback in the hopes of improving the experience, but here they just nailed everything. Pacing, quantity, seasoning, diversity, with flavors and ideas that simply worked well. Fantastic meal, and I'd gladly come back next time in SF.P.s. sitting outdoors was pleasant, and probably less smoky and noisy than indoors: easy to have a conversation, and the enclosure kept us warm. Wish the passing rush hour drivers were less aggressive as a whole, but this is straying from the topic at hand...

Nic B: , service was disappointing. Get why hard to go after star after pandemic but today they’re just not at the level to even try.Glad we went to try, wouldn’t come back.Good: Brassicas was excellent, so was the agnolotti. Quail too, we just had to wait too long. Budino good

Chris Curry: Awesome restaurant. Excellent service. Great wine selection. Some really good entertainment. And the foood!! Look at the size of the prawns. I was not in the mood for steak so I had the swordfish. I know it’s tends to a thicker and dryer fish. But they cooked it perfectly and it was juicy inside. Definitely recommend. Included a pic of a KC strip. Everyone thought the food was amazing.

Gamal DeWeever: Everyone has a different palette but I think there's something for everyone here.Logistics: account for parking if you're not familiar with the areaCourses: Long TastingFood: Excellent. Several highlights but the dessert was exceptional. The dumpling was mid. Everything else was excellent. Spicy in soy milk? Amazing.Price: POV: you're in SF in the year of our dear lord and savior 2024. You have a base meal, gratuity, tip, and tax. If you want the Eight Tables experience, go. Was it worth it? Sure.Overall: Good pick. Recommended.

Jon A: From the moment we were welcomed into the elevator until the moment we collected our coats, we felt like valued guests. Every step of the way, the service was warm, attentive and professional. The food was, of course, quite excellent. My favorite was the Cold Noodle with fresh soy milk, sea urchin and sesame. But the high point of the experience was the sommelier - who was actually interested in what we liked and varied his pourings from the normal pairing menu to match our tastes. Highly recommended. I look forward to returning.

Stephen Bailey: Great experience but $500 a person was a bit much. Loved each course. Cucumber with caviar and the cold.noodkes stole the show.Milton was the best....A.bit pricey but OK once every 10 years

Jim Lin: are also highly recommended.+Confidentiality is also very good+The atmosphere of the restaurant is also great, not too noisy+If Taiwanese people come to eat, they will have the taste of home.+When I booked in advance from abroad, there was no way to book using the US website. I wrote an email to them, and they were very patient in helping me book their restaurant and responded quickly. I really appreciate them!

Abe: I went here for my birthday, and it was a great experience! It's a tasting menu, so there's not much to think about besides whether you want a drink pairing. I think it's nice they have a non-alcoholic pairing, but we chose the wine pairing. The nine flavors first course is just amazing; what a way to begin a meal! I hope to come back again some day.

Kyla Jones: and the fish, which was such a fun mix of flavors and textures.

Maya Holt-Teza: This was such a fun experience! The mixed reviews made me nervous but my partner and I had a really amazing time. Tucked away in an unassuming alley, with a door code and elevator, it created great ambiance and the restaurant itself continues the atmosphere. The waiters were incredibly attentive and polite, the food was great, and they put a candle in the dessert when they found out it was my birthday! Very pricy but definitely worth the experience in my opinion!

Millicent Miles: , but no lack of service!! Kudos to our server, Eli, who was outstanding and ensured that we enjoyed everything 100%...Started with cocktails, then on to appetizers... Burgundy escargot and Little Gem Salad. Originally from VA, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered a Soft Shell Crab!! It was delicious and prepared exquisitely! My friend had the pork chop, and we ended the evening by sharing a slice of carrot and mint layer cake, coffee, and an espresso. It was a great ending to a lovely day!!

Isaac Smith: for quality and volume.Service was also excellent! We were never low on water or drinks, and always felt very well taken care of.Dessert was incredibly rich — almost uncomfortably so, so I wish that portion was slightly smaller, but it fits with the sort of vibe they have.

Jim Fawcette: Excellent service, very good food, in a nice setting along the waterfront with some tables having a view of the Bay Bridge. Despite the packed house every one of the staff were friendly, helpful, tremendous team. One of us, a visitor from Tokyo, left behind a gift for his grandson. The restaurant took it to his hotel. Amazing. We had a four course meal, and all five of us enjoyed each item. Sea Bass was very good, Ahi Carpaccio was excellent. Good wine list & countering a current trend, a good selection by the glass. Nice interior with curved ceiling whose tiles come from when the building survived the 1906 Earthquake.Parking: If you get there early, there is "License Plate Metered" parking right out front. Garages are a bit of a walk.

Sophie Eliades: . The wine was also wonderful. One of the nicest experiences we've had in a while. Thanks to everyone involved!

Lukasz Zbylut: O by Claude Le Tohic is a Michelin-starred restaurant, nestled on the fifth floor of ONE65, is the crown jewel of Chef Claude Le Tohic's culinary empire. It offers a multi-course tasting menu, with both five and nine-course options available. Each dish is a work of art, a symphony of flavors and textures designed to tantalize the taste buds. Imagine starting with a generous trio of caviar, each paired with a different type of freshly baked bread, whetting your appetite for the culinary journey ahead. Every element on the plate complements the others, creating a harmonious and unforgettable experience. The desserts are unforgettable and the menu has a large list of non-alcoholic mocktails. If you're a foodie, a Francophile, or simply a discerning diner looking for an unforgettable night out, O by Claude Le Tohic is a must-try. Be prepared to be impressed by the innovative cuisine, the impeccable service, and the luxurious ambiance.

Daniel Dafoe: The service was immaculate, the culinary journey was exquisite, and never once did the staff or experience disappoint. The courses were described, brought out in perfect timing, and presented and plated incredibly.I did not once think I was getting a subpar experience because I got a vegan tasting menu. Everything was crafted with care and obvious passion. You absolutely get what you pay for—and price you pay may be a barrier to entry for some. All in all, this is the perfect anniversary or special occasion spot to take your loved one or special friends.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian tasting menu. Call or email to ensure you are able to request a vegan tasting menu.

Alyssa Y: The best meal I’ve had in all of my life and worth every penny. How this restaurant has only one Michelin star is beyond me. The 9 course tasting menu was absolute perfection that it’s impossible to pick one favorite course. The caviar trio was to die for and the crispy skin on the kinmedai was unlike anything I’ve ever tried. Would love to come back again!

Elizabeth: Absolutely enchanting birthday celebration at O’ by Claude Le Tohic. My fiancé and I had an amazing time and the staff and chefs really made our night with their high level service and food presentation. We had the 9-course Grand Tasting Winter experience and each serving seemed like it brought you just a little closer to heaven. I’m so thankful for how awesome everyone was and glad that they were a part of our special night.Vegetarian options: If you request vegetarian options, they will do their best to accommodate your needs.Dietary restrictions: If you have any dietary restrictions, they will do their best to accommodate you. For example, I don’t eat seafood so they gave me a customized food options menu with recreated original dishes with vegetable supplements, instead of seafood.Parking: Paid self- parking garage adjacent to the restaurant.

Katelyn: This was such an incredible and creative dinner. From start to finish, every bite was cooked to perfection and the flavors were delicious and complex. The caviar composition was such a unique course, and I especially loved the madai tartare with radish and green apple, it was so addicting. They even had a complimentary abalone dish if you sign up for a zestpass, and it was one of my favorite dishes! The turbot was also incredible and really stood out. All of the sauces were amazing and complimented each dish so well. Both of the desserts were incredibly flavorful and satisfying, they weren't too heavy and were the perfect ending to this wonderful meal. The chef even came out and greeted everyone which was very kind of him! I highly recommend dining here, this was my favorite meal i've had in San Francisco and I will definitely be back.
