Lazy Bear: what do users think?

Adam Vieira: Of course it was delicious, why wouldn't it be? It was a unique experience with the field guide notebook menu and nostalgia centered experience. The 5th star comes from the service. Not only was it the best, most comprehensive service I've ever received, but after the meal I was given tips and recommendations about the neighborhood, and later in the night I randomly ran into a couple of the chefs at a bar and they recognized me and made references to specific events from the meal earlier in the day and were generally extremely nice and funny and friendly, even after they were required to serve me. Wonderful experience all around. I would recommend it to anyone.

isabelle C: The food is here amazing start to finish. The desert is was so delightful. I loved all the food here and when I went, there were a lot of fish dish and all of them were great. It was rich in flavor but still not heavy. The staff makes you feel comfortable. The service is amazing because they are not stiff and yet make you feel very attended. The atmosphere is fun like dark cabin in the mountains like cozy and grand. I will for sure come back in the future.

Jeff Sharp: OMG. This was my best dining experience ever. Not only because of the amazing menu. The service was absolutely amazing, and the staff was so friendly and happy to share information about each dish and glass. This was an extremely special night for us and we will be looking forward to visiting on other special occasions in the future!!!

Liholiho Yacht Club: what do users think?

Sylwia K: . The ribeye steak was well-cooked and a generous portion; enough to share for 2.

Daniel Funk: The food and dining experience were incredible.Duck liver mouse banana bread deliciousBeef tongue steamed bun incredibleOcean trout sashimi amazingPork shoulder entree was out of this worldThe only items I would skip for next visit are the mochi custard dessert, odd texture and not enough custard vibes, and the groundskeeper cocktail, too lemony for my taste, I was hoping for something more old fashion like.Definitely would come back again.

Annie Evans: This place is absolutely delicious! My favorite dishes were the ahi poke app, snap pea salad, and the pig head app that was a delicious Brussels sprout salad.I could鈥檝e done without the curry dish but everything and everyone was incredible. We sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender. Definitely a fun, delicious chiller vibe.

Mario Dos Campollo: A fantastic meal, every dish hit. Liholiho is a terrific Asian fusion restaurant nestled in Nob Hill neighborhood. The pig head was my favorite, it paired well with zesty-ness of the Brussels sprouts. The swordfish was fried perfectly, it was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The rice was excellent. Putting the care for something as simple as fried rice can really make it special. The beef tongue was tender and delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely attentive. They helped with our special night and made it even better. In my opinion, I think Liholiho is missing some Michelin stars. Dos thumbs up 馃憤馃憤Dietary restrictions: Let them know before so they can accommodate.

Lore Dp: Came here to celebrate my birthday and I鈥檓 so happy about my choice. Food was fantastic; it felt like a good mix of experimental and traditional dishes. Highly recommend the catfish katsu and the gulf shrimp, but everything else was also great. I was also impressed by the service, not only did food come fast but our waiter was so friendly and provided great recommendations. It has become one of my favorite spots in the city. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

The Vault Garden: what do users think?

Cynthia Colas: This venue is absolutely beautiful, but so underrated. More people need to know about this venue so I guess it's a hidden gem for now for all those who know about it. The venue is just gorgeous and the food is absolutely superb. I also love how they decorate this venue during the holidays. Just absolutely beautiful

Harrison Broker: The Vault Garden is a great semi-outdoor space for some delicious bites and creative cocktails. Their service staff is outstanding and very kind. For lunch they have a pre-fixe menu as well as an a la carte menu with delectable morsels. Their food is well prepared with a simple elegance. Definitely a lively place around midday, and I would suggest going early or making a reservation. I would definitely come back to try more or even their dinner menu. They also validate parking for anyone wondering.

Claudia K M: The holiday drinks at The Vault Garden SF are a true celebration of the season! And I truly enjoyed the atmosphere including all the decorations which elevate the festivities. The warm drink is a burst of festive flavors, making it feel like Christmas in a cup.Paired with the Shishito Peppers, the experience was both comforting and tantalizing. A delightful choice for a holiday evening out!

Becca Gomez Farrell: The Vault Garden is cheerfully full of holiday decorations and celebrants at this time of year. The $30 2-course prix fixe is a pretty good lunch deal, though portions are pretty small. My soup was potato-leek, nicely smooth and blended. But the choice of fried leek on top actually was a bit weird to chew in my soup. The chive snips were a great vibrant green accent.Butternut squash risotto with roasted chestnuts, sage, and mushrooms: I appreciated the roasting on the squash pieces, but I think some citrus might have been nice to amplify the flavors. And the rice was a little more al dente than I prefer. The hot buttered rum, with banana and walnut butter, was a very fun, if oddly gritty, choice, thanks to the nuts being chopped into the butter.Would definitely try again, but maybe stick to the regular menu just to get the effect of a full entree.

The Barrel Room: what do users think?

Hank Johnson: , was fabulous - attendant, but not overly so - and very helpful describing some of the items on the menu and helping me with an after dinner amaro. I went light with a bowl of lentil soup and a seasonal salad. Both well prepared and delicious. The rest of the menu looked great. Hoping to fit in a return trip before I head home. The only one slight drawback was the noise - it was a little loud for my taste, but certainly not enough to keep me from returning.Vegetarian options: Lentil soup was vegan. My salad was veggie and perhaps vegan- not sure about the dressing.

Wook Chung: Barrel room has a bit of secrecy going on. At first sight, you barely see any dining tables and it feels like a wine bar. It made me think perhaps there is another restaurant with the same name. But don't be fooled. Walk through the bar and there is about 10~15 tables in a cozy alcove.Barrel room brings you Chilean and Argentinian, somewhat tapas-like, cuisine, paired well with a healthy Argentinian malbec selection that complements the food well. Again, reminding you to absolutely pair your food with malbecs. The fish dishes including the ceviche were okay. Nothing special. The fish croquette even felt a bit grainy. Dates with bacon were amazing. But everything was forgiven with the wagyu steak. Absolutely gorgeously prepared, well crusted and marinated, with fabulous potato and salad. Not sure if this was Argentinian beef but simply mindblowing. And yes, with the malbec! And yes, the desserts also were tasty! This is a great place for business drink and meals. Awesome find and will be back.

Cassava: what do users think?

Brianne Howell: Great little wine bar to fill Cassava鈥檚 spot. Snacks were delicious, and you can bring in local food too. Perfect addition to the neighborhood.

Jane Natoli: Glad to see Cassava re-open this location as a wine bar in the neighborhood. A fun list of wines from Yuka and the rest of the crew, great snacks if you need a bite, and a welcome addition to that stretch of Balboa. I will definitely be back with friends to share abottle soon

Benu: what do users think?

Nicole Zhou: Good: 1. There is a lot of food, so if you are hungry you can get really full. 2. The service is good. 3. The ingredients are fresh and good quality.Bad: 1. This is Asian fusion food that I think unfortunately not comparable to authentic Chinese cuisine or a top notch sushi place. The dishes look fancy with nice ingredients, however, are made with less layers of tastes, mediocre cooking skills, and dominant salty sauces. I personally think the food can have a bit of more innovation and preserve the tastes at the same time. 2. The inside of the restaurant is a bit dark and furfinshed with minimalism styles, which feels nothing much to look at.
