Jewel Swanson: A really great tapas place, and one of the hest happy hours in the city. 15 dollars for a nice carafe of sangria, dollar oysters, and more. I always order the patatas bravas and spanish omelette, love their fish, their paella is really decent and great for the price, and almost every dish I have had aside from that has been great, especially the stews. Perfect for groups, large and small, dates, friendly get togethers, and any other time.you want affordable and good food and drink.
Sandra Salmeron: Very delicious food and attention

Angelica SF: My husband and I went here for a Friday night dinner. We did reserve online on the same day. I think we were lucky since most folks were probably out of town.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service was superb and they were very attentive. We ordered dessert wine and I didn’t like mine. I usually wouldn’t say it but the owner asked. He replaced my drink and it was delicious 👌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food was good too! We ordered the paella negra, crab croquette, and basque cheesecake. I expected a bit more with the cheesecake, but it tasted like a normal one. Not the Basque style but still good.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ambiance was great. We liked the music played and it felt intimate. There were families dining as well.

Trace Henley: It was pricey, but I can truly say it was worth every penny. The people were kind, helpful, and friendly. The food was phenomenal. The ambience was both joyful and romantic. The only problem I had was that it was too good and too much, and we couldn't possibly eat everything we ordered!
Tim Wang: The best paella in SF. I studied abroad in Valencia and outside of Valencia, this is the best paella I’ve had. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The appetizers and sangria were also terrific. A+ friendly service as well.Recommended dishes …

Erfan Karimian: I had an exceptional dining experience at Bellota Restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a stylish and modern decor that set the tone for a memorable night. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, with our server taking the time to explain the menu and make recommendations. But the real star of the show was the food - every dish was expertly prepared and presented, with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. The highlight was the paella, which was cooked to perfection and full of savory goodness. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the commitment to using high-quality ingredients. Bellota Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and a lively atmosphere. Five stars and I can't wait to go back!

S P: A couple of friends and I went before a comedy show at Cobbs and had a great time; we almost missed the comedy show! The food is yummy, they have a variety of options, and everyone was satisfied with their order. The cocktails are also on point. Though the bartender was a bit slow with service, the service was good overall. We played jenga, which was one of the available games, while enjoying the ambiance. It's a fun space in a very accessible area of the city.

N: Feels like you’re at a restaurant in Spain! Delicious food. Slow pace. Great ambiance if you want to share tapas with friends in a relaxing environment.
Lina Prada: was just delicious! I also arrived just on time for their happy hour which its great! Had wine with my paella.Service was awesome and the restaurant’s ambience if very cozy. Would love to come back if i ever visit San Francisco again!Price was just right. 100% recomendable!
Daniela Bedoya: Recommended dishes Seafood Paella
Jeff Koo: If you want the happy hour menu, you have to sit at the bar or window, all of which are high top chairs and not accessible for disabled people. It’a a dumb policy and they should consider more accessible seating for those who cannot sit in high top chairs. Great food though - the beef empenada, beet gazpacho, and ensalada were my favorites.
Jason Carver: We went to next door ayahuazka 1st and it was so bad!Dirty, rude staff, and food was the worst! So paid the overpriced meal with maybe 2 bites of food. And decided to try here, and I was ao grumpy and hungry after the restaurant next door. But after I tried their food. Omg it was so good and the staff was so freaking freindly. It really changed my mood around. this place is truly a hidden gem! I'm so glad I went to try it after the disappointment slop from ayahuazka was served I'd 100% come here again and can't see why this place has a healthy amount of people inside where as next door is dead!
Nuria Herrero: A great place. The service is wonderful and so is the food. The omelette and oxtail is incredible. It is a little piece of Spain in the United States. They take care of you very well.

Sunita Wassan: We spent a long time trying to find tapas for dinner and we decided on this place- we made the best decision! The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious. By far some of the best tapas we have ever had. We were sat in the back room which was absolutely beautiful transporting us all the way to Spain with a quiet and cozy ambiance. We would highly recommend the chicken and potato soup, oysters, and gambas. Cocktails were equally as incredible! The service was beyond impeccable as well. When we are back in SF we will definitely be returning!
Brad Andrews: Delicious, up-to-date Spanish food and drinks with a friendly atmosphere. Great neighborhood vibe.
Sinem Altunbas: We had an amazing experience at Abrazo with our friends! We tried a lot of tapas and all of them were simply delicious. I would particularly recommend the charred octopus, croquetas, albondigas, and gambas. The paella was exceptional, it was one of the best I have ever had in the States. I enjoyed my Rioja a lot. The restaurant had a very lovely vibe and it reminded me of the restaurants in Madrid. The people were kind and the service was excellent. So, I would recommend Abraza to anyone around.
Grace K: were all delicious and perfect to share. We also split the roasted chicken and paella entrees, both of which were delicious. The cocktails were excellent thanks to Johnny at the bar, and the wine list was also excellent. The service was wonderful and the food came out in a steady but relaxing cadence so we could fully enjoy the meal.
Roberta D'Anneo: . One of his many talents. He also enjoyed his meal 🤤
S S: Abrazo is a lovely gem in Russian Hill. The hospitality is warm and inviting, the service is friendly and knowledgeable and the food is absolutely incredible. As a party of 5 we were able to sample much of the inspired menu and all of it was outstanding, from the meatballs and croquettes to the steak and pasta to the lovely array of desserts. The stand out for me was the NY strip, so beautifully prepared and the pear gelato which was out of this world. I’ll be dreaming about the meal we had there for days to come.
Mario Dos Campollo: Cool Spanish joint in Russian Hill. A very tasty tapas spot with an even better drink menu. To start off, they had a beautiful meat and cheese board. The garlic shrimp probably the best item they have, was heavenly. The oysters were very fresh and of good quality. They had some delicious desserts as well. I always go with a flan if they have it. I do wish the octopus was a bit better, it let a lot left to be desired. The service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Abrazo is also a perfect spot for an intimate date, a family gathering or a special occasion.Dos shrimps up 🍤🍤

Matt Easton: and Pulpo
Jenny Vereschagin: . I tried a vermouth and it was very similar to the flavor I enjoyed in Spain. My husband had a Spanish red wine
Aaron: ! Also if you lean vegetarian there are loads of amazing options.Kid-friendliness: It’s mostly adults but we’ve brought our kids and they were great with them. I’d stay in the earlier side because it can get busy later on.
Michelle Barnes: Visited to celebrate my mom's birthday. We made a reservation on a Sunday at 6:30pm via Opentable for their paella and tapas pre-fixe menu, which includes a paella for the table, 2 tapas, and 1 dessert per person. We opted for the mixed seafood and chorizo paella and they were able to accommodate my mom's request for no oysters in the paella. They started us off with the Spanish cheese tasting, which included 3 varieties of cheese that were nicely proportioned so each of us got to try a slice of each. For the tapas, we opted for patatas bravos, jamon croquettes, tortilla espanola, and stuffed piquilo peppers. I also ordered a sangria, which was a pretty small portion for the price. The tapas were all quite good and by the time the paella arrived we were already pretty well fed. For dessert we got the chocolate olive oil almond cake, which was a very thin layer of cake covered with tons of shaved coconut and the tres leches pumpkin bread pudding, which was unique but not a personal favorite. While I quite liked the cheese and tapas, the paella and desserts were just all right
Jenny Xu: I came here with a group of 10 and this place was great for a group dinner - the table was pre heated and the table was outside at a private event!Good:- Great tapas style place- We got a bottle of white wine as well to go with our dishes and they poured it all out really nicely for us- My favorite tapas were the pulpo, the meatballs, the bacon wrapped dates, and the empanadasBad:- The wait times were long between some of the initial dishes, but then got quicker over time which was good!- The service was slow to come outside to help- The shishito peppers were way too spicy!Overall, what a fun place to take a big group, and festive!

Test Test: Food: 4/5
Teddi Carbonneau: We had a wonderful evening at this bistro. The service was very friendly and it had a fun and funky ambiance. I lived in Spain for a few years and love good tapas. B44 did not disappoint. We shared a salad along with sizzling gambas ajillo and patatas bravas. They served bread to dip into the hot shrimp and garlic oil. I had the crema Catlana for dessert, and it was the best I have ever had. The caramelized sugar crust and creamy custard had just a hint of orange.
A K: restaurant. Wines were mostly from Spain or France
Jason Siow: Amazing food, atmosphere.Their Cajun shrimp is a MUST ORDER. The sauce, together with their free flow bread is heavenly.I could eat just that for days.
Cristina M: The best restaurant this side of town, this place never disappoints. Friends and I come on a near monthly basis and always bring out of town guests here - it's always a highlight of any visit to SF.Great vibe, consistently excellent food, and the sangria is on point. Best bread in town too. Go for the shrimp dish with the bread.

Christopher Chung: . Quaint backyard oasis patio — perfect for catching up with friends or a first date.Highly recommended for those seeking a low-key and unique side to San Francisco.
Nahiel Nazzal: Such a cozy sweet tucked away spot in Hayes Valley. Casual setting but the servers were knowledgeable on their wines, the snacks on the menu are yummy, and a perfect central location in the city to continue your day/night anywhere from.
