ko Mia: Personally, as someone who likes Korean pork cutlet, I think this place is better than the new Raseong. The meat and sauce are both better.Food: 5/5 …
Allesther: Dip the crispy pork cutlet in the sauce😘 GreatI recommend the soft tender pork cutlet!!
Yunah Hahn: They have the best Korean style donkatsu in K-town. Perhaps, in U.S. It tastes just like the ones in Korea. I like how they use better bread crumbs, they’re not the store bought, panko we normally use at home. Their longer& thicker bread crumb which makes the cutlets more crunchy.I say, get the combo and try all that they have to offer. Its affordable yet high in terms of quality. The spicy donkatsu is also good, my only complaint is that it’s not spicy enough. Their hamburger steak is also very yummy. It tastes like the ones in Seoul. I’m glad there’s a katsu place where they take making katsu more seriously.Btw, this and wang donkatsu is two different restaurant. One in ktwon plaza is wang donkatsu, their cutlet is big and flat. People like it cause it’s big. I like King Donkatsu because it’s thicker, you can taste the texture and flavor of the meat. King donkatsu has better quality donkatsu than wang donkatsu.
Dom Ku: King Donkatsu has average prices for amazing tonkatsu. Their tonkatsu is super crispy with lots of panko breading. I ordered the pork tenderloin that came with rice, shredded lettuce, miso soup, and a little bit of pickled vegetables. Their menu had many other options to choose from, and nothing is unusually expensive. King Donkatsu is located in the food court at the top of California Market.
Byung Cho: I really liked that the Togo bowl was bigger and easier to eat from. The food is delicious and there are many new menus, so it's nice to be able to enjoy a variety of flavors.
Grace Wong: Sooo good! It was delicious and crispy, the portion sizes are massive and good to share between two people, unless you’re starving. The price is okay, typical food court prices and I would say is better tasting than Tonkatsu house at Koreatown Plaza. This place is located on the top floor of California marketplace! California marketplace has a more quiet and chill vibe than KTP and it’s great to go to wind down after a long day. Overall great place for dinner or lunch!!
Daniel K: If you want decent donkatsu at an affordable price, you either go to Tonkatsu House in the Koreantown Plaza or here. There are obviously better donkatsu restaurants in ktown, but you won't get a bang-for-buck deal than here. The serving size is so large that my girlfriend and I split Pork Loin Donkatsu and felt very satisfied afterwards. The katsu was fried to perfection and was pretty juicy. The best part about eating at this food court is that you're surrounded by so many dessert options. You can get dessert at the food court but you can also leave your car and walk a block or two to several dessert shops.
Marley P: So good! So fast and huge portions. Every order is big enough for two ppl. Lives up to the name for sure
S. L: Pretty good for the price. Had it 3 times already and I’d probably go back because I love the breadcrumb they use.
Mohammed Azad: After deliberating for 15 minutes on which restaurant to eat from in the California Marketplace, my friend and I went ahead with King Donkatsu and was not disappointed, but not blown away either. I had gotten the Chicken Katsu as pictured below, and it came with a good amount of sauces and sides. It was crunchy and didn't really have any complaints while eating it. The rice, salad, and curry tasted all average, nothing to be blown away by. This wasn't the best Katsu I ever had, but it wasn't bad either. It may be a bit more overpriced for what it's worth, but they do give plentiful of food. Overall, this restaurant is a decent choice, but nothing special.
ki chung Lee: King tonkatsu affordable price and taste savory delicious~ best tonkatsu in Koreatown Los Angeles. 👍🏻

Isela Corral: We drive 1hr 1/2 to eat here. I used to work down the St but since I moved I visit at least twice a yr.
Queenie W: Literally the best chicken katsu we ever have. I don’t understand when someone says otherwise. We had it to go through doordash. It’s still reaaallyyy gewdd.I wish i live close by!
John Song: are the exact amount of firmness. I see below…they are called soba. The sauce for the buckwheat noodles is awesome sauce. The cheese donkatsu is a little cheesy. I recommend that one person order the cheese donkatsu and another person order the regular donkatsu and split & share. This place even has an activity. It’s fun to crush the sesame while waiting for the sauce to be poured into the saucer.Chilled barley water. 보리차. Now that’s awesome!Portions are too big…actually. And I feel guilty ordering only two plates for three people.Excellent decor! One tip - do not annoy the servers, particularly during their break time. And double check that you received your credit card after paying. Most servers are so good. Just keep on your toes. But all in all, this place is awesome.
Mike Adams: Service: 5/5Food:5/5Atmosphere: 5/5Comments: perfection. Service is excellent, the atmosphere is well, and the food is very delicious. The tonkatsu was perfectly breaded and fried. I spent ~18 so pretty good value.
