Justin Lee: This restaurant got the unusual conviction of sticking to the best in terms of food quality. Every piece of sashimi, every single appetizer, even the kind of rice they use, the quality is top notch. It is a rarity in America these days. The chef is Michelin rated. Asuka displays a passion to serve the highest quality of Japanese cuisine that you could hardly find elsewhere.
Neal Raval: Exception Japanese and Sushi cuisine. We live in Seattle and get really good sushi there. This was likely my best sushi I have ever eaten and we eat at all the great sushi places back home so I can only highly recommend this restaurant. It is very hidden and the back entrance where you can park does not look appealing, don’t even worry about it one bit, this place is amazing and a go to for anyone who likes good sushi! Exceptional service, exceptional food.
Alyssa White: Hands down, best sushi i have ever eaten!! the owner, vincent, truly put so much work into making Asuka an unforgettable experience. The service was impeccable and nothing went unnoticed. Beautiful atmosphere and very clean place, amazing waiters, and most of all the food melts in your mouth. Absolutely worth trying. I have been to a countless amount of sushi restaurants and this one is by far top of my list!
Lorenzo Gentile: All the food was great and the service was very attentive. Highly recommend the lychee sorbet for dessert!Only downside is the place was pretty loud. Pretty casual vibe.
Qishen “Sam” Liang: with crab after sashimi is probably way too rich: prob some veggies/tea based soup would give a better pacing. But that's my two cents. Generally, a very great restaurant with good food and service. A little bit dark but it's ok.
Danielle Kohut: Best sushi on the west side. Amazing quality of fish
kazumi yamamoto: This is the place who someone looking for authentic Japanese food in Los Angeles.
Eugenio Garza: Very good, best traditional restaurant I’ve been to. Totally recomended.

Eric Shalov: Decent sushi at somewhat reasonable prices. Salmon teriyaki and garlic edamame were good. Expect them to automatically add 18% to the bill. Dinner for two, sharing the salmon plate and 2 or three cut rolls and edamame, with a shared bottle of sake, was $106.Parking: Free street parking, depending on the hour. Check signs carefully for restrictions.
N D: very kindly found the bag I forgot inside the restaurant and returned it to me just as we exited!Excellent all-round, would go again.
Gabriel Zoltan-Johan: One of my favourite places in LA. You cannot go wrong with both the quality and value of what's on offer. Do yourself a favor and come here. Especially for the price, it might be the best sushi in LA.The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the sushi chefs incredibly experienced. I do my best to come here whenever I can, and you should too.
Shane Coles: Strongly recommend coming for Saturday lunch for the special weekend bento box. What goes into it changes weekly, but you can be assured it's absolutely loaded and positively delicious. Staff were exceedingly friendly. In addition, they have daily lunch specials and omikase. I get the impression that they pride themselves on repeat customers, and with great food and hospitality I can see why.

Jessica: Wowkase! Amazing artist!
Wenjay Sung: you need to pay so bring a bag. Even close friends of the owner have to pay and his prices are expensive. Definitely do not come here if you're an influencer hoping to snag a free meal or discount
Michael Lee: As always, Yama Sam deliversRecommended dishes Caviar, Sashimi, Sushi …
Phoebe Ren: Uncrowned king, the ingredients are sufficient, but it is easy to lose the original taste. I like the recommended wine very much, it is very good, it is a restaurant that will come back again
Bruno Mendes: you will thoroughly enjoy this place.Dine in: Yes …
Chris: Very very special & delicious omakase. The chef is Japanese but the flavoring is very diverse & more like fusion style. Ex. he would use lots of truffles & caviar in the courses, which is rare in traditional Japanese course. Besides the flavoring, the size of each course is bigger than usual Japanese course too. The service is great and chef is also quite friendly, we will definitely revisit in the future.
Gaki Goofy: Super dishes and sake with a great service.I love yamakase omakase.Must try.
Bryant Wu: Super delicious Japanese Omakase! Definitely a feast of premium seafoods from Japan and chef's genuine recipes from traditional sushi to creative combinations. The quantity is also very impressive that I couldn't finish all the dishes. Strongly suggest eat nothing since morning prior to your reservation. Ideally, no food since the night before. Otherwise, you would not enjoy the taste of each every dish they served.
