Dori: Even toward the end of the season there were beautiful irises to see. It was kind of a gloomy day but really enjoyable. One note they changed how you exit the place and you go over a pretty rough road. My car is low to the ground and I bottomed out a few times so that was not great. Yes I was going slowly. Really enjoy Nola‘s generosity and inviting the Gen public to come and see her beautiful flowers!
Catherine Sullivan: I ordered some irises from Nola's website and I just wanted to say they made the trip from California to Ohio quickly and in great condition. Very healthy rhizomes. I will definitely order from Nola's again in the future. Best selection of Iris varieties by far!Update: My irises from Nola’s are blooming beautifully in Ohio!
Hanh Nguyen: Beautiful garden.
Dimitris Michailidis: Lovely place to visit for iris. Hundreds of varieties on display during spring.
Selina Havener: This place is a beautiful garden to visit in April and May. One of my favorite gardens to frequent in spring next to Filoli and the Rose Garden. While the Irises are in full bloom it looks like a quilt in the sky. Not only are the flowers fascinating and full of colors, the view at the top of the mountain is breathtaking. You can take a picnic and visit with your family. Wear comfy walkable/hikable shoes and clothes you can be comfortable in. It’s also great for an impromptu photo session. There are also horses, cows, chickens and turkeys for your little ones to marvel at.Nola and Gary offer many of their irises for sale online if you notice any you want for your own garden. The irises are reasonably priced and there are hundreds to choose from! When you’re done and feel up for it, there’s an open space preserve just a bit further up the road with a round trail with great views as well.
Karen Hand: The only place I buy irises from. They are beautiful.
RICK LEE 3: Nola is a doll, I have a lot of respect for all the work they put into the place. There are small signed here! Please read them! Also if you have a lowered card, don’t come
yung-chin Chen: The place is free to visit. The owner plants a lot of Irises with all kind of varieties you won’t find in nurseries. The place doesn’t open all year long. It is only open during the flowering season in the spring. You had better contacted them to learn when it is open before you good. They sell their Irises via mail order if you are impressed. The owners are very friendly. Thanks for providing such wonderful place for free.
CrazymanBandit: Great Owners and great selection, I was unable to pick up my irises, so they shipped them over! Spring viewing is also great!
Rich Santoro: Nola picked several Iriseseses for The Bulb Guy Garden in San Jose Ca. Nola's Iriseseses are now in The Bulb Guy Garden & The Queen of England's garden. That's the way I tell the story....Nola tells it a little different.......Rich....The Bulb Guy
Tam Pham: Lovely place to bearded irises photos shoot
Alejandro Vizcarra: Amazing place! Such a beautiful view and everyone here is so friendly. I'm very happy to have a place like this available.
Trisha Singhal: Awesome

Anke Koelzer: Really nice flowers and pots. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pretty high prices though.
Neha Gupta: Lots of fruit trees, cheap prices. Very beautiful flowers. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. You can return plants up to a year and get discounts if you are a repeat customer.
Talliya Smith: The staff is so friendly and they are clearly invested in creating a positive customer experience from the interactions I had and heard. 🌸Gorgeous selection! I also love that they give guidance to protect customer’s pets 🐈⬛🐶
AJ B.: Nice garden shop, you can tell they care. Many employees around asking if help is needed, also found some handy yard sticks placed throughout to the potting area to help make sure you're getting the right fit!
nancy staggs: Thank you for this beautiful Christmas tree
Chris Rinaldi: Pleasant friendly helpful staff
Ganka H: This nursery has some of the most knowledgeable and helpful staff! Fantastic help from Ryan. He patiently and with utmost care helped me choose a present for a friend's special occasion. While I came to the store with a vague idea of what I wanted, Ryan's guidance showed the path to the ultimate vision for a beautiful flower arrangement. He even repotted the flowers in the pot of choice for me and looked for a matching saucer. By the end of my trip, we easily had walked a mile through the nursery! Thank you, Ryan!
김병태: I purchased potting soil and flower pots.
Josh H: Nice smaller nursery in a busy city. Great selection of nutrients as well as plants and trees. Being a hot pepper enthusiast, I'm always on the prowl for uncommon genetics - found a few varieties I haven't seen before on shelves at other nurseries, now I can make this a place I check for hot pepper plants.Prices for bagged soils are a little on the expensive side but I guess you pay a premium in the city.

Brandy Frederick: Hi miss NOLA this is brandy hope everything is ok I have been trying to get in touch with you and Gary. I don't have a phone currently
Lisa Nguyen: Beautiful irises! Saw some horses. There are some tables and chairs for you to picnic if you so please. Sweet little getaway for San Jose. Please donate if you can!Thank you for sharing your land.
Kathryn Hedges: Worth a drive up the hill to see hundreds of irises during the season! This is a farm, not a formal garden, so you'll see, hear, and smell horses and other livestock. The irises grow in rows on a hillside so expect to climb a bit. Irises are in bloom around April through May, depending on weather. They sell iris rhizomes in the fall when the plants are going dormant, and you order on the website.
Kenneth Epley: Great Iris Gardens

Tracey G: Nola is a wonderful host. We will be returning in April 2022 to see the the hills of Prevost Ranch and Gardens with the Irises in full bloom.
