Vegetarian House opened in 1994 with a vision of a world where humans and animals could live together in peace, love and harmony. Inspired by Supreme Master Ching Hai, a world renowned spiritual teacher and humanitarian who stresses the importance of honoring nature, we serve fresh, organic, locally sourced, dishes cooked and seasoned with non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) ingredients. Also concerned for the happiness and wellbeing of our animal friends, all dishes are wholly vegan; i.e animal free.
In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we purchase ingredients from local sources and veganic farmers, whenever possible, use 100% sustainable energy generated from solar panels on the roof with the balance made up by wind power and use energy efficient lighting and appliances. We recycle or compost all waste, whenever possible. You can also be assured when ordering Delivery or Takeout that all packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials which are either biodegradable or compostable.
We are a Certified Green Business. We recycle and reuse whenever we can, including water from vegetable washing and our Reverse Osmosis water system. Vegetable clippings are composted, into our garden (or local gardens). We use environmentally friendly packaging and supplies.
We are committed to working towards a sustainable planet. In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint (apart from serving only vegan cuisine). We use 100% sustainable energy in the restaurant. Our western facing roof is covered in solar panels, and the balance of energy we use is offset with wind credits.

Naisargi Doshi: Very delicious and tasty food...inspite of arriving 5 mins before the closing, the staff welcomed us..We were just 2 of us..we tried Malaysian Curry Chow Mein and Joyful Tofu..Both of them were so flavorful and yummy..Quantity is pretty good...at the end we had to take a To-Go..

Prag B: Great service, the staff are very nice and friendly. The menu items are a bit hit or miss but the hits are really good. My current favorite is the new chicken pesto and parm sandwich which tasted more flavorful than other chicken sandwiches I’ve had and the mock meat was very close to actual chicken. Khiem Nguyen: Great vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Their crispy reasoning oyster mushrooms are 100% the way to go if you're considering an appetizer. The char siu special was alright. Honestly neither me or my girlfriend were a fan of the salt levels/seasoning levels and honestly the variety of ingredients in the bowl left me wanting, for sure.
Sengphet Sithounnolat: This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants and hands down the best vegetarian restaurant in the area. Most of the dishes are good to excellent. The palmelo salad and banh cahn are incredible.

Glo Love: This is by far the best restaurant I've been to! It was not busy on the day of going service was fast and very caring. The lady immediately greeted us and gave us menus and let us know about the pictures on the wall as well. She was so sweet and can tell she genuinely was happy and was helpful on our boba options! Best customer service ever and wish she could be at ever restaurant I end up going to. The hot dog in the croissant was delicious along with the rice with pineapples and broccoli was delicious along with the taro tea and Mango tea as well. What topped everything for me was the roti egg roll! It was amazing and had to be saved for my last bite! Overall I will return and brag on absolutely everything about this space! Everything was absolutely delicious, I loved the variety and flavours of food and it was wholesome and nourishing. Also the husband and wife running this place are very nice and warm people. We ordered summer rolls, banana flower salad, bun hue chay, and bun cha ca chay. Everything was so good! Our favorite was the banana flower salad, so flavorful and full of texture with the crunchiness of the noodles and vegetables. My husband commented he loved the dressing of the salad. Portions were generous. There is a good amount of non-meat protein sources such as mock meat, seitan, or tofu that kept us full after eating. There is only one bathroom so I wish there was more bathrooms. Service was prompt and pleasant. It’s crowded here with people eating when we went so that’s a good sign.
