Marcela Ma: Vegetarian options: Lots vegetarian option and even vegan option as wellParking: there's parking but you will have to pay its not a lot
Thomas Haynes: Warm udon on a rainy day! What is better? The broth was on point and everything was just yummy.Liked the communal seating for singletons, reminded me of Japan.Actually also very good on a cold Spring Sunday... Same thing, same reaction!
Lawrence Tom: I really wanted to try their curry rice bowl and luckily it came with a small food on bowl. This was enough food for two people and after I ate the udon, I had very little room for the curry. I did several bites of the curry and it was delicious. I would definitely get this again. Next time I come I also ordered the corn fritter, but it was very plain and didn’t have a lot of flavor. It was pretty to look at, but not so much to eat. I would not get the corn fritter again.

Weston Choi: Kizuna was reopened recently and we visited it today. It looks the owner has changed and menu was expanded with sushi roll. We tried Katsu curry and spider dragon roll. It’s fantastic and I love roll here. Curry isn’t same as previous menu but still very good. Service was great and staffs were very friendly. I will come again. I missed a sushi on this place before and now it offers sushi menu. It’s worth trying them out.
Stephen Chan: Seems like new ownership/menu as of May 2024.Menu is no longer as unique as before, no longer has my favorite items like Kakiage. Pretty standard Sushi/Bento menu now, not very different from other nearby options.Food was good, but no standout like before. Service was fast and polite.

Benjamin Tan: Uzumakiya is located nearby TPTea.Parking is around the lot but in front of the store maybe hardOverall a great sit-down Udon experience. The waiters were very attentive and very friendly.Their plating is great and aesthetically pleasing.Udon and karaage were very pleasant and very filling as wellOverall would recommend!
Wook Chung: Uzumakiya is beyond special. It serves up perhaps one of the best, if not the best, udon in the Bay Area. It's located in an unsuspecting plaza not near to anything. You'd hardly notice it unless it wasn't for Google Maps. The down-to-earth setting and the run-down buildings simply set your mind to be blown away when you taste their udons.Let's first talk about the broth. Standard dashi broth is solid, has good body, and isn't overly sweet or salty. But we were absolutely blown away by the ox-tail broth. This is a one-of-a-kind broth that you cannot find nor replace anywhere in the Bay Area. The noodles. These are not your traditional round, thick udon noodles. They're almost a hybrid between a regular straight somen or ramen, but absolutely has the stringy texture of a udon. Absolutely satisfying. World class. And then the condiments. The beef chashu is so well done that you almost feel like it is a boiled pork belly. It is soft, it's not as fatty, and it melts in your mouth. The lotus root crisps... wow. They complement the udon texture perfectly. And the marinated beef sukiyaki for the niku udon is just done right. Sweetly savory.Often when a restaurant gets a 4.5 star on Google, it struggles to live up to its ratings. Uzumakiya is the opposite. I don't think the 4.5 stars does justice. Considering the pricepoint of $14 for a bowl of world-class delicious udon, I'd give this joint a 6 or a 7.Amazing feat by the owners and will absolutely return.Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian, you shouldn't go here.Parking: Plenty of parking in the plaza.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor. Wide entrance. Plenty of space between tables.
Liz #: These are the best udon noodles in Bay Area. The noodles are not too soft and very good. Most udon noodles served in the U.S. are soft, but in Japan, noodles with a firm texture are more popular. The udon at this restaurant is the kind of udon that Japanese people like!
Jordan Bayles: SUMMARY:I like a menu that shows confidence in their core product - Udon. I preferred the oxtail

Sakti Chourasia: Food: 4/5
Joshua A.: Good sashimi lunch, but as with most places, not filling on its own. Would recommend avoiding that and sticking to rolls or bento. I had a few bites from my friend's bento box and those were good.
Jami Bledsoe: Recommended dishes Soba Appetizer, Sashimi Moriawase
Jiu Jiu: 🍲Yosenabe $19The store owner said that the soup is made from bonito, scallops, and kombu, and it tastes very light. Think about it from another aspect, so we can also savor the original flavor of the ingredients🙄!There are many kinds of ingredients, including seafood, chicken, tofu and vegetables.I feel like this pot has relatively high requirements for ingredients. I really don’t like this one. It doesn’t have enough freshness and no dipping sauce. Although it’s healthy, it’s really tasteless.🍗Chicken Kara Age $8.5This family may advocate healthy eating. Even Tang Yang’s fried chicken is basically oil-free!So its fried chicken is not crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside!

이호: It's delicious~ I think it's the best among the nearby ramen shops... Of course, it's based on my taste~^^ The owner is Korean.
Melfina Viengsombat: It was very busy when we walked up and there was a line out the door. It was very lively and very tasty. Every ingredient in my ramen tasted good and the gyoza and karage were crispy hot and fresh. If you are walking by just pop in and take a smell. The broths were cooked with care and had a good balance.Recommended dishes Spicy Miso Ramen, Gyoza …
Murali Manohar Pai: Spicy miso ramen was good and pork was juicy.A quiet place and self service.
DENNIS TE: Ordered the spicy miso pork ramen. Not too spicy and surprisingly semi sweet. Definitely fulfilling. Had a side of California rolls. Yum. Located downtown so lots of places to do after having dinner and some sake.
Amo Kiwi: this place is literally so good, came in skeptical after a long day of skating and biking. Hit so hard. Customer service was amazing, food came out hot and perfectly cooked. Definitely coming back here again tomorrow.
Gemma Padilla: Service is friendly and fast. The food is to DIE for!!! It's so DELICIOUS! I really enjoyed my meal very much. I really want to go back already for try other options on their menu 💜
Seth Haynes: Food was relatively quick but was very delicious. a small and precise menu, but cooked deliciously with a good serving to give big eaters a healthy filled belly. Staff was courteous and quick to clean tables.
