Lakeshore Learning Store: what do users think?

Charlie Kim: We shopped at target, buy buy baby, walmart...etc. but this place is the best. We didn't know until recently how much they have. Not only toys but educational items and posters and much more. We just bought a sand table and some Lakeshore brand sand...awesome. best part about this place is the customer service. They listen to me and find what we....our son needs/ wants. Love it!!

Sofiya Joseph: It's more than just toys! Very thoughtfully designed educational toys. Bit on the pricey side but lookout for coupons or deals. Staffs were very helpful.

Mandiee Leaver: So fun. A little pricy on some things. But very fun store. Perfect for parents.

Annamaria Manuguerra: Love it

Ms. Becky: . You can find everything to help educate your child. For us teachers it's like a candy store, you want everything!😁

Bambi Genetti: Love Lakeshore store.. I own a daycareI buy everything from Lakeshore. There people are very helpful... great quality...there girls that work are very friendly. Love love love Lakeshore

Edith Betancourt: I like the store, it has very good supplies of good quality to teach. A suggestion is to improve costumer service, specially on weekends.

Taylor Wells: Went there tonight to buy a toy for my nephew's birthday and had a great experience. I explained what I was looking for, and the lady working there was extremely helpful, showing me what seemed to be almost every option possible that fit my criteria. I ended up picking out a pretty neat-looking toy, at a reasonable price, the gift was wrapped at no charge, and I was on my way. I did a little browsing before I left, and the store is very cool if you're into toys that have a little learning edge to them, especially as your kids grow. They also seemed to have a bunch of school and art supplies too. Will definitely go back, and I recommend checking it out if you're looking for a gift or want to buy your child something nice. Support your brick and mortar!

Anna Shepherd: Very nice but pricey

Sundar Rajkumar Jothimani: I love their products but bit costly

Jiujitsu Junkie: Awesome place to get learning tools for kids!

Stéphanie Guillot-Crestey: I love this store

龍大金: good store for all kind of sports

Caressa Dotson: I went for a tube for my fixie, needed 700 series the staff help me find what I was looking for. But what I really liked was a person ahead of me in line was having trouble with a coupon on her phone we've all been there but the cashier was nice and helpful and together they scanned the coupon...I'm not sure of her name but that was good costumer service .. something a lot of stores are forgetting about!!!!

John Michnowicz: Join their email list and get daily sale notifications. You can get very good sale prices. One of my favorite stores.

Joshua “F.”: Good customer service great spot that is always fully stocked up! Right in front of the Westfield mall right across the street! Plenty of parking space along the side of it and also has a bank right next door if your in need to use a bank right before or when passing by

Maribel Aquino: Great costumer service

Emmanuel Vargas: Good service!

erika lavoie: The manager was absolutely amazing!!! Was so patient and helpful in helping me pick out football gloves. Absolutely will go there again.

Jen Jagger: Clean, as far as big 5s go. Staff was very friendly. Found more than I was looking for, but isn't that usually the case when shopping at this store? Fair prices too. I had a really good experience at this one.

Michael W: Public evening tour allowed for access to the observatory grounds and views of the aurora. Very interesting lecture about James Lick and got to view stars through the telescope.Visited on Weekend …

Hosh: It's hard to imagine anyone giving Lick Observatory anything less than a 5-star review! Set high up on one of the peaks of Mount Hamilton, this destination is a must-visit, by ANYONE AND EVERYONE!The drive up to the observatory is an adventure in itself, with twisty roads that really test your driving skills. The narrow roads climb steadily, offering stunning views that prepare you for the spectacle ahead. At the summit, Lick Observatory stands as a landmark of historical significance and a hub of cutting-edge astronomical research, dating back to the late 18th century. Among its collection of telescopes is the Great Lick 120 inch Refractor, once the largest refracting telescope in the world, and still a marvel of historical and scientific importance.Nighttime visits are especially magical. The observatory’s summer stargazing programs allow guests to peer through telescopes at distant galaxies and stars, with expert explanations from the observatory’s knowledgeable staff. It’s an educational and intimate experience that connects visitors with the vast cosmos.Whether you’re a stargazing enthusiast or simply looking for a unique experience, Lick Observatory is an excellent choice. It’s a perfect spot for families, dates, friends, or even solo adventurers. You won’t be disappointed.A few tips for your visit:1. Drive carefully. The roads up the mountain attract fast drivers who can make the narrow, two-lane road tricky, especially at parts where it's impossible for wide cars to pass without crossing into the oncoming lane.2. Watch for unprotected turns along cliffs with 1,000+ foot drops. If you're heading to the observatory, stay alert and cautious.3. Share the road respectfully with cyclists, who are vulnerable and move slowly. The road includes several blind turns, so when in doubt, slow down. There’s no need to rush—with so much beauty and excitement ahead, the drive is part of the adventure.

DebC Baker: The drive up is rather scary with very tight sharp hairpin turns, but once you get up to the observatory, it is worth the drive. Check out their website for tour hours to view their telescopes.

Denni: Worth seeing! The path from San Jose to the observatory is impressive in itself - great views. The observatory is very interesting, you learn a lot about the history and what they actually do.Parking is free and there is no entrance fee, you can donate something if you want.

Anu Rao: Mount Hamilton offers a thrilling drive up to the Lick Observatory, perched above 4,200 feet. The winding road provides breathtaking views of the mountains and city below. While the observatory visit is optional, the panoramic vistas from outside are stunning on clear days. Watch out for cyclists along the narrow road and drive cautiously. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit for the scenic drive and spectacular views.

Sola Sai Sindhu: Beautiful drive in between mountains to reach this observatory. View of bay area is breathtaking!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …

Matty B: , and the place was quite deserted but for a few cars I passed on the way down.

Stinger GT2 tv: and the 120-inch Shane reflector are impressive! 🌠🚴‍♂️ Cycling: The journey up the winding Mt. Hamilton Road is an adventure—watch out for cyclists! 🚲🌲 Nature: At 4,209 feet, the cool, changeable weather adds to the experience. Bring a sweater! 🧥🎨 Gift Shop: Grab souvenirs like sweatshirts, T-shirts, and astronomical photos. 🛍️🌌 Night Visits: Don’t miss the Summer Series for stargazing—Lick Observatory comes alive after dark! 🌙Remember, Lick Observatory combines science, nature, and cycling vibes! Bicycle 🚲
