April Tarbuskovich: For our 25th anniversary, the husband and I went to LB Steak to celebrate. We had gone for our 15th anniversary and had such a good experience, it seemed so appropriate. The service was welcoming and thorough without being obtrusive. We had the lobster bisque, frito misto, and seared pork belly as appetizers, followed by the 35 Day Dry Aged boneless rib eye with Point Reyes Blue cheese butter for both of us with truffle fries and fried brussel sprouts with a sweet chili sauce for the main course. Did I mention the champagne and ale that we enjoyed? We rounded out the meal with the chocolate and butterscotch bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. And because it was our anniversary, they presented us with a signed card and 2 glasses of Prosecco on the house! So much amazing food! We felt attended to without feeling suffocated, so it was the perfect balance of service. We will be going back again for our next major milestone!

mary nguyen: Foods are good but in a junkie way. Fun to be with friends or in business meeting. Not recommended for people on strict health dietParking: Can park on street in front restaurant

Anselmo Arellano: Came here a few months ago and had the Wagyu cut from Queensland Australia. Definitely leaner than the other options of Wagyu, but it tasted amazing. I also tried the Filet Mignon and it was just as good. I would recommend for price sake ordering the Filet, unless your really wanting to get a taste of the Wagyu hype (: The service here was also really good, and both waiters that helped us were very hospitable and kind. They also were really informative regarding the cuts, so if your not a steak expert they are awesome. Also very close to plenty of shopping centers to keep you entertained for the whole day!The photos done with a full framed camera will be on Instagram @elmoz.grub

Morton's The Steakhouse: what do users think?

Darius Klein: Stopped here on a Thursday night for dinner.Staff, upon arriving, was very friendly and got us seated immediately thanks to my online reservation. For an appetizer, we got the NUESKE’S BACON STEAK. This was 2 fairly large slices of bacon for the price, good for 3-4 people as an app, or could even be comfortably eaten as an entree for 1.For my entrée I ordered the Prime Ribye. My steak was cooked to perfection and not overly seasoned so that the steak may speak for itself. For the sides, I got 1 order of the Troffle fries and Mac & Cheese. The fries were good, but nothing very memorable. The Mac & Cheese, on the other hand, left me with some disappointment. From what my waitress said, the cheese blend may have been changed recently, which gives the Mac a little kick, so if you aren't someone that can handle any spice, do not order this item.

Lori Leung: I got their filet mignon and I must say that it is definitely not the best I've eaten. I would say it's good but not great. When you go out to eat and spend that kind of money you want to get great food. The green beans were not good and poorly seasoned and the mash potatoes had too much butter. For dessert I got their chocolate mousse and it was too sweet. It's ok but I would not come back if I had to pay. It was a dinner meeting so no charge for me

Robert Hom: My ribeye steak was awesome and cooked to my desired medium rare. It isn't the best ribeye that I ever had, but I can't complain either. During busy times, these service is a little slow. That is expected as I was here during a convention and there was an overcrowd of people. The restaurant itself is nice, but a little dark. I like to see what I'm eating.Located right across the SJ convention center and the location itself is nice and easy to get to. Price was pretty good, portions are good, and we had a lot of left overs. Will try again if I am in the area.

bfrymire: We did the event, "Taste of Two Legends". It was a food pairing with Justin wines out of Paso Robles. Food was excellent and wine was high standard. The host was informative and friendly. It's an event I would do again. Service was excellent and nice ambiance. Highly recommend.Update 2024.We did taste of two legends, 2024.Really good as always. This year was Austin Hope and J. Lohr food was excellent and pairing was great! Looking forward to next time.

Josie Guerra: I'm giving 4s because I was here for a reception and not an actual dining experience. The bar staff was amazing and the cocktails were perfect!I got an old Fashioned 👌🏻excellent! The reception buffet had a great variety and all delicious!Started with a salad bar along with fruit crackers and cheese, blueberry goat cheese was my favorite.Main buffet had prime rib, oysters, shrimp, lobster, chicken, pasta, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans and rolls. Everything cooked perfectly and delicious....I unf missed out on the dessert, so I'm unsure of what that was.Overall I was very impressed. I really need to come back to have an actual dining experience here. Hopefully this was a good indicator for what I can expect.

JERRY DUNMIRE: If you like to play with your food, this is the place! The meats and the sides were good and the Chimichurri sauce was good with both the meat and the sides. We had the Bison rib eye and it was juicy and flavorful.Don't forget to save room for dessert - chocolate fondue! Actually the best part was spooning some of the fondue over the birthday ice cream.

Stinger GT2 tv: 🥩 Food: Steaks are heated on a stone plate and grilled to perfection. Tender, juicy, and high-quality! 🔥👌 👨‍🍳 Service: Attentive, fast, and excellent. 👏 🍽️ Experience: Cooking your own steak on 700-degree salted lava rocks is a fun twist! 🍳🔥 🌟 Overall: A hidden delight with generous portions! 😊Rok Steakhouse & Grill offers a unique dining experience where you can enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price. Mark Anthony-Johnson: The meats come out hot, tender, and perfectly cooked. There’s a lot to choose from and you’re never waiting very long for food. There’s also a salad and condiment bar that has a lot to choose from. This is definitely a restaurant for almost anybody even vegans. There’s relatively cheap parking across the street in a parking garage and free street parking after 6pm. It’s not cheap but worth the prices

karen armenta: "I recently dined at Taurinos Steakhouse and had an exceptional experience. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The quality of the meats was outstanding – cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying their steaks!Overall, Taurinos Steakhouse exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return. If you're looking for a great dining experience with delicious meats and excellent service, this is the place to go.

Everything is prepared to perfection, highlighting the authentic flavors of Brazil. Additionally, the environment is extremely clean and well-organized, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service is efficient and friendly, with waitstaff always ready to assist with a smile. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Brazilian culinary experience!"

Bastakokak: Taurinus restaurant located in downtown San Jose, is my family’s favorite Brazilian steakhouse. Our “go-to” place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and mini reunions. My family and I head over to Taurinus and satisfy our craving for the juiciest and mouth watering selection of roasted meats, grilled pineapple in addition to an inviting and delicious salad bar that keeps you coming back for more. Dont even get me started on their yumilicious Brazilian cheese breads! They are to die for 🤤 The facility, service, staff and overall experience … absolutely amazing and highly recommended!!! A definite 10/10 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

John K. Asenso: 10 Stars 10 stars. Outstanding Brazilian steakhouse. Impeccable service. I met the owner. A gracious man indeed. Food was excellent. A great night out with the boys!!! I shall return. Joe Priode: All the meats were amazing and glad I got to have one of my best friends ever with me to experience it for the first time. The table service was good but 3 stars is for taking reservations while hosting a private party. It doesn't matter if the reservation system is third party, I'm sure there is an option to pause reservations during a certain window of time. And big thanks to our server who cleared up and resolved our menu confusion at the end.

Yue Leng: Mizael is great

T Boss: The table side caipirinha drink cart was also an added bonus complete with bartender specials. We’ll definitely be back - regret taking so long to try it!

Vincent Chen: We went to celebrate a career goal with a friend. We didn't have a reservation but got a table fairly quickly. Our server Grace was super attentive, made sure we had everything we needed, and wanted to make sure we had everything for lunch. She also got us a little gift and made our lunch a super memorable experience. We go to Fogo fairly regularly and this was an especially memorable experience.

1 impom: The steak tastes great and the wine is good too. There are a lot of seats, so it looks like you can use them without a reservation.

Jason Foard: Very rarely do I give a full 5 Star rating. This Resto impressed our party of three. Everything about our dining experience was fantastic.Paul, our server, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the meal. He was a wealth of knowledge with a great sense of humor. The other staff was so helpful and professional as well. Our food was delicious to the last bite and very well presented. We started with fresh baked warm bread and butter and some crispy Calamari. For our Entrées we enjoyed the Nordic Halibut with Brussel Sprouts, Australian Lamb Chops with Lobster Mac-n-Cheese and a perfectly cooked medium rare 8oz. Flat Iron Steak with Miso Glazed Asparagus.Followed by a spongy yet delectable Japanese Cheesecake that was first released to us that night. Also we devoured a scrumptious Blood Orange Bread Pudding. We all agreed that we should have ordered two of those!I treated myself to a Highland Park 12 Scotch served neat that complimented my meal perfectly.

Jerrell Stewart: Perfect. Everything was perfect. Nothing else to say except…try the desert wine after!!!!Parking: You will need to find a garage. You may be lucky and find close street parking but should plan ahead.

Daniel Page: and scallops seemed incredibly fresh and very nicely presented and cooked perfectly. Service tendered by Hector was impeccable in spite of my relatively late arrival

There can be a wait. Finally, they call your name and bring you to your table. Your salad and buttered bread are already waiting there for you. Something about that ranch dressing is memorable. We got a 1/2 rack of baby-back ribs and a NY strip. Anthea Navarro: Overall it was a good experience and food. The only thing I really did not like is that their to-go boxes kept opening and would not shut, no matter what we did.Kid-friendliness: They were very accommodating to my 9 month old.

Kevin Paterson: We were in search for a hibachi restaurant in the Bay area. Not too many around based on Google Maps. We ended up going here on a Saturday night about 6pm. It wasn't too busy at all at the time but started to get busy about 30 min later. This is a typical hibachi with the same salad and miso soup to start with. The hibachi was the same as well. The cook was very entertaining and friendly. The food was not the best I had at a hibachi but it still tasted good. I ordered the chicken and scallops with fried rice. I think it needed more flavor like garlic and salt. Afterwards, they served ice cream. The flavors they had were green tea, orange, & vanilla. The vanilla tasted good.Everything was a good portion of food. I had to box the rest of mine up. Overall it was a good experience.

Food delivered in timely manner. They delivered bread after entree, and had to remind them twice for missing drink. Food was very good, and priced appropriate for this level of restaurant. We do plan to come back.

mike d: Went here for New Years Eve dinner. They had a limited menu for New Years Eve.Had a roayed carrot soup, and a rib eye. Both were delicious.Would go back to sample the regular menu.Went back and had a Berkshire pork chop. Was delish!!!

Liz P.: , was sweet and attentive. The ambiance was sexy and dark, just as it has always been. While it may not look upscale from the outside, stepping inside feels perfect for a date or family dinner. It's a great spot for singles too at their lovely bar.Although, it was full the night we visited, it still maintained a comfortable volume, and exuded subdued sophistication. Service was surprisingly on point and fast with a packed house. It reminded me that Dry Creek is a hidden gem worth revisiting more often. They've maintained consistency over the years in their food and cocktails. The quality is not top notch but you get what you pay for and it’s very fair. Service is top priority in my book when dining out.Reservations is recommended, especially on weekends. Parking is ample in the spacious lot out front.

Scott Cozzo: Good food and great value.

A.J. Tadena: Went here for a family occasion/funeral reception, first time coming. The name threw me off from what I was expecting inside, but it is a cozy and nice venue compared to how it appears outside. One side of the interior is a wider, open area for event dining and the adjacent bar. The other side had a more intimate but casually active, sports bar side and a tiny dining area, with the restrooms in the back. The food for our event was not a huge banquet selection but just good enough for our party of people, wish there was more dessert and if it was appropriate, an open bar available. The servers/active employees though not many, were very attentive and quick to gather and pick up our plates/table settings when we were each finished eating. I'm surprised that they didn't already have pitchers of iced tea along with the waters at each table, nor offer any refills or soda options. There was some coffee though too. Keep in mind like I said, this was my first time with some of my extended family's, too, so I was ok with it overall, just surprised. Thank you again Drying Shed, hopefully come here again when we're in this part of the Bay Area. Hope to explore more dining fare options and lively, happier occasions/company too.

Louis Fong: "I recently had the most delightful dining experience at the Drying Shed, and I can't wait to share my thoughts! The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Chicago cut of prime rib - tender, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The vegetables and potatoes were equally outstanding, adding a perfect touch to the dish. What sets this place apart is that it's one of the few spots in San Jose where you can savor prime rib. And let me tell you, it's hands down the best I've ever tasted! The overall ambiance was pleasant, and the service was top-notch, making it a memorable evening. If you're a prime rib enthusiast like me or simply looking for a delightful dining experience, the Drying Shed is a must-visit. Trust me; you won't be disappointed!"

The steak was also incredibly satisfying, true to itself without any excess or deficiency. It was impressive that, despite being busy, there was no neglect in service. There is a reason why this place is thriving.

Perrin Larton: Fabulous food. Great service. The atmosphere is a bit 1860's and 1940's. Lots of dark wood with lots of windows. I could see railroad barons sipping scotch and GI's stopping in for a drink before being deployed! Was there for lunch and the Carpaccio was flavorful and the Calamari was done well. Had the wedge salad and added the filet. Very yummy. Sat around chatting after lunch and never felt rushed.

Mike W: Great location. excellent food. Typically outstanding in all aspects. Our last visit seemed a bit “pushed off” from our server. Will certainly go back, as this was quite minor and he probably had several tables to manage.

Katherine Hobley: It is a decent restaurant. I was looking for a place I knew from 40 years ago. Same name, different location. Linens at lunchtime is a nice touch. Although I am a cloth napkin versus paper, the table cloth seemed overboard for the bright light atmosphere. Pork Chops were delicious. Steak was not very flavorful but more the rancher's fault rather than the restaurant itself. Vegetables were frozen, not fresh. Green Salad was fresh, the ranch dressing a bit too thin for my liking. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and hospitable, and food was served in a timely manner.

She was incredibly sweet, personable, and super friendly, as was the rest of the staff. The vibe was just what we appreciated. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. The portions were surprisingly substantial for a fine dining establishment. The cocktails our server recommended were excellent, which is rare for fine dining places that usually focus more on wines. We were delighted with the quality of the craft cocktails. We are easy-going when it comes to dining out in the sense that we’re open-minded and adventurous, so we followed our servers lead, and ordered everything she recommended with no hesitation. Everything was 100% spot on.Parking was hassle-free since it's located in the same lot as the Pruneyard shopping center.Overall, it's an upscale restaurant with a cozy, inviting atmosphere and a strong customer-centric approach.
