Mark Anthony-Johnson: The meats come out hot, tender, and perfectly cooked. There’s a lot to choose from and you’re never waiting very long for food. There’s also a salad and condiment bar that has a lot to choose from. This is definitely a restaurant for almost anybody even vegans. There’s relatively cheap parking across the street in a parking garage and free street parking after 6pm. It’s not cheap but worth the prices

Bastakokak: Taurinus restaurant located in downtown San Jose, is my family’s favorite Brazilian steakhouse. Our “go-to” place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and mini reunions. My family and I head over to Taurinus and satisfy our craving for the juiciest and mouth watering selection of roasted meats, grilled pineapple in addition to an inviting and delicious salad bar that keeps you coming back for more. Dont even get me started on their yumilicious Brazilian cheese breads! They are to die for 🤤 The facility, service, staff and overall experience … absolutely amazing and highly recommended!!! A definite 10/10 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Joe Priode: All the meats were amazing and glad I got to have one of my best friends ever with me to experience it for the first time. The table service was good but 3 stars is for taking reservations while hosting a private party. It doesn't matter if the reservation system is third party, I'm sure there is an option to pause reservations during a certain window of time. And big thanks to our server who cleared up and resolved our menu confusion at the end.

Vincent Chen: We went to celebrate a career goal with a friend. We didn't have a reservation but got a table fairly quickly. Our server Grace was super attentive, made sure we had everything we needed, and wanted to make sure we had everything for lunch. She also got us a little gift and made our lunch a super memorable experience. We go to Fogo fairly regularly and this was an especially memorable experience.

jorge castillo: Finally, authentic Venezuelan food in the heart of San Jose. This place is the real deal. From being raised by Venezuelans the food checks all the boxes here. I’ve had the pabellón, tequenos, empanadas and Reina peipiada. All dishes were 10/10 I’d recommend this restaurant to all my friends and I’ll be coming once a well. Finally found a slice of home here.

Prasad K: The arepas here are excellent, and we love the cachapa as well. We've had arepas all over the country, and this place has one of the better ones. The only thing I wish they'd do differently, is allow customizing the Reina pepiada, because as I understand, it's currently pre-mixed, so no customizations are possible with that one. I've had the same arepa at other places and those have allowed to make a custom arepa with just the avocado and chicken, wish that was possible here. Apart from that, excellent service and food, we'll keep going back!

Everything about our dining experience was fantastic.Paul, our server, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the meal. He was a wealth of knowledge with a great sense of humor. The other staff was so helpful and professional as well.Our food was delicious to the last bite and very well presented.We started with fresh baked warm bread and butter and some crispy Calamari.For our Entrées we enjoyed the Nordic Halibut with Brussel Sprouts, Australian Lamb Chops with Lobster Mac-n-Cheese and a perfectly cooked medium rare 8oz. Flat Iron Steak with Miso Glazed Asparagus.Followed by a spongy yet delectable Japanese Cheesecake that was first released to us that night. Also we devoured a scrumptious Blood Orange Bread Pudding. We all agreed that we should have ordered two of those!I treated myself to a Highland Park 12 Scotch served neat that complimented my meal perfectly.

Katharine King: A very nice decor restaurant, the 🍸🍹 Lisboeta taste so good. I liked the portion of their dishes, not too big for one person, and not too shy if sharing between two.In general the cooking is fine, the vegetables, sauteed kind of impressive, full of flavors, cooked perfectly. The beef tongue in tomato sauce a little disappointed, beef tongue cooked fine, but tomato sauce kind of tasteless.Overall, enjoyed lunch, and surely will go back some other time.
Marianna Carrera: The roasted octopus remains my favorite but every dish is good, the only issue is choosing which ones to order.Parking: There is parking behind the restaurant, the access is thru a narrow gates path on the left hand of the restaurant entrance.

A superlative wine list from a sommelier who actually spent time in Portugal will open your mind to surprising wines that compliment each course. Highly recommend doing the wine pairing and seven course tasting meal. You can do the full menu with meat or choose a pescatarian or vegetarian menu, and all were tasted by our table with rave reviews. Multiple servers assist you throughout the meal. Also, pre-order a box of pastel de nata, as these are the best we've had outside of Portugal.Parking: Through a narrow alley behind the restaurant.
