S Mather: Ordered two meat plate. Brisket was tender but portioned for a small child. Pulled pork was over cooked but still tasty. Cornbread muffin was plain and a little dry. Mac and cheese was pretty cheesy but the Mac was severely overdone. Sweet potato was sweet. No soda, only water or specialty drinks. Order on your phone at your table or from the front counter after deciding.
Kiera Williams: 12/10 HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD EVER鈥硷笍 My husband and I were in town visiting and Of course I googled blacked owned soul food and Jackie鈥檚 Place popped up! Just from the pictures I knew it was going to be something serious! When I walked in I was just amazed at all the blackness 鈽猴笍 in there on a Sunday after church . It definitely made me feel like I was back home in the south. Any waaays the food was hella good, the 1st bite my heart just sank! The service was amazing , the food, everything was amazing about this place and just in conversation with a friend she said she鈥檚 been here and loved it! So I would definitely 100% come back again and again and again.

Super clean and tidy.Huge inside and lots of seating. Neil Tantingco: My 2nd time here, and brought entire family this time. We were all eating and humming while licking our fingers. I ordered the pork ribs with collard greens and coleslaw...again. Rest of family ordered the fried chicken and rib tips. Each of us devoured our own corn bread, including the crumbs. We also ordered the peach cobbler and key lime pie to go since to stuffed to power it down. The staff were super friendly and hospitable. We came around 4:30p-ish so parking and seating were easy. Last time, we went during lunch rush hour, and had to wait for awhile for our food to arrive so be prepared.Parking: Tight and limited. Needs to be repaved in some areas.

H G4: Fired chicken was hella good. We got the chicken and waffles and the spicy honey chicken from their food truck. The waffles aren't your regular ol waffles, they're different 馃構 they tasted like they used a cinnamon wheat batter...overall the food was bomb
Joseph Hashemi: Good food, ribs are nothing special but the sides and fried chicken is where it's at.
Pam Stewart: They're Baaaack! Use the web site to order the food and it's still the wonderful tasty BBQ and sides. I'll have to go back and try dessert. They moved closer to where I live, so I'm very happy! Pick up window is behind the main building -- enter the alleyway near the driveway on Kiely or by the furniture store.
jen brennan: ALWAYS DELICIOUS, I drove 20 minutes when I saw they were open again. Best catfish around. And the Mac and cheese has that real homemade taste. The catfish didn't even make it home, I had to eat it on the way.
karen b: OmG!!!! Lillie鈥檚-soul Food is back!!!?! Had the fried chicken dinner and catfish dinner.Wow WOW WOW!!!!! And the sweet potato pie so good. Call and place you orders folks I鈥檓 telling you if you like soul food this is the spot!!!!
Kevin Veasley: 10 pieces of fried chicken, and a beef brisket dinner. Num num num, happy 4th of July everyone.
Jeanette Rumsby: We ordered food from Lillie Mae's for a small funeral/wake for my late grandma. I was so impressed by the quality of the food- everything was seasoned spectacularly. The fried chicken was gorgeously juicy, the collard greens were the best I've ever had, and the mac & cheese was peppery and decadent. When we are able to return to normal and host larger events, we will definitely be calling Lillie Mae's again!
Joseph Ledee: Was the best but closed now

Lupe Martinez: We had heard of JonJon's quite awhile ago but never had a chance to visit until now. We had a very late lunch at around 2:15pm today. So consequently, they were out of the Peach Cobbler, the Mac & Cheese, and their Beans, however the Potato Salad was a solid tasting experience. In terms of the BBQ, we had the Chicken, it was good, the Hot Links, very hot & spicy, and the Ribs!!! The Ribs, came heavily drenched with their BBQ Sauce and were an Extraordinary & Excellent tasting experience. Our small group of 3 mutually agreed that coming back to taste the Ribs again should be a regular occurrence and well worth the effort.Note:They don't have any waiting staff and instead have a kiosk set up for auto-ordering using one's credit card / debit card. That was a pleasant surprise and very straight forward to use. TheirCustomer Service was excellent, in terms of having our order promptly served while still keeping up with a steady stream of Take Out Customers. In terms of ambiance, this is a very humble establishment set up with covered outdoor dining and our only comment here would be for them to set up some portable outdoor heating to help dining customers deal with the cold. As previously mentioned, we would highly recommend coming here to try their Ribs as we were very surprised with their taste and hencefore plan to come back sometime soon to have them again!!Parking: Limited parking onsite available but there was plenty of street parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: No restrictions and barriers to overcome or deal with.
S Mather: and the potato salad was a little mushed. The portion of meat was generous, but was resting in a pool of sauce; I prefer sauce on the side so there is a choice on how much to apply to whichever meat I choose.

Charles Prael: Always great BBQ;It's a lot quieter these daysVegetarian options: That's a joke, right?
American Angler: Down in San Jose looking for things that I know I won't find, but looking anyway..Well, just because. Saw a Paired Jackra up on flag pole, just sitting there minding his own business. I even kicked a couple of dirt clods over on Nickleback street, and got a nod of support from some old geezer that must've liked the way I kicked um. Got barked at by a chihuahua and stared down by some skateboard kids that'll grow up to be burdens to society. And all that's been going on, I kept smelling BBQ...it changed from ribs to pork butt to brisket..then chicken, then a combination of meats, I kept going in the direction of those wonderful aromas, then all the sudden it was there! The Smoking Pig BBQ!What can you say other than Amazing!
Tom Friend: My favorite BBQ spot in San Jose. I have to make a pilgrimage here every time I fly in to visit my office. It's a little bit sweet, but the bark is great anyhow. Ribs, brisket it's all good. I wish my diet allowed more of their fabulous desserts. BTW, the beans are wonderful.Vegetarian options: This is not a place for vegetarians or vegans.
Sonia Rodriguez: This was my first time having it so I picked a combo plate I had brisket pork beans ribs cornbread from the first bite that I had it it was so delicious to the last bite I most definitely will come back so if you're into barbecue you definitely going to stop by and have it pick the combo it gives you two entrees cornbread or rice then aside then we also ordered a side of burnt ends but make sure you eat it while it's hot it was so good and melted in my mouth.
