Phuong Le: The food tastes superb!!! Such an underrated place. I highly recommend this place.
Lainaboo: Super nice staff. My family and I have been going here for well over 20 yrs. Sam has always treated us like family and has been so generous and humble. Increased prices are understandable given what has been going on with the economy,so not sure why people have been so sour. It takes a lot to run a restaurant guys! Don't expect 3 star Michelin food quality if youre here. Sam cooks home style filipino comfort food. Food is similar to my mom's cooking style so I have minimal complaints.will come again!

Janet Mitchell: The pulled pork plate with coleslaw & garlic bread was excellent. Also, the hush puppies were delicious!! Enjoyed the whole experience. Would go there again, even tho prices a little high, but so is every other place now a days!!Parking: Had no problem parking in the lot beside the restaurant. Plenty of spaces.
American Angler: So then the dude slaps a Franklin down on the bar and proclaims in a loud obnoxious voice that Sam's Bar-B-Que is the best BBQ in the bay area...and here's a 100 bucks that says so! Well, I've had BBQ all up and down the state, and I've got some favorites in Oaktown, so I went over and "Oh Yeah! You're on...I scooped up the Franklin and he gave me directions to get there, and off I went...just me, he stayed there with his chest all puffed out, proud as a new dad, and I had some Amazing food at Sam's BBQ. He never showed up, and I just wonder how long it took for him to realize he gave me a 100 bucks to go eat BBQ. ☆☆☆☆☆

Lupe Martinez: We had heard of JonJon's quite awhile ago but never had a chance to visit until now. We had a very late lunch at around 2:15pm today. So consequently, they were out of the Peach Cobbler, the Mac & Cheese, and their Beans, however the Potato Salad was a solid tasting experience. In terms of the BBQ, we had the Chicken, it was good, the Hot Links, very hot & spicy, and the Ribs!!! The Ribs, came heavily drenched with their BBQ Sauce and were an Extraordinary & Excellent tasting experience. Our small group of 3 mutually agreed that coming back to taste the Ribs again should be a regular occurrence and well worth the effort.Note:They don't have any waiting staff and instead have a kiosk set up for auto-ordering using one's credit card / debit card. That was a pleasant surprise and very straight forward to use. TheirCustomer Service was excellent, in terms of having our order promptly served while still keeping up with a steady stream of Take Out Customers. In terms of ambiance, this is a very humble establishment set up with covered outdoor dining and our only comment here would be for them to set up some portable outdoor heating to help dining customers deal with the cold. As previously mentioned, we would highly recommend coming here to try their Ribs as we were very surprised with their taste and hencefore plan to come back sometime soon to have them again!!Parking: Limited parking onsite available but there was plenty of street parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: No restrictions and barriers to overcome or deal with.
S Mather: and the potato salad was a little mushed. The portion of meat was generous, but was resting in a pool of sauce; I prefer sauce on the side so there is a choice on how much to apply to whichever meat I choose.

정대권: Rice wine and a lot of Korean side dishes are provided. The food was good especially Zokbal which is part of pig toe.
Wook Chung: Ok, this place is legit authentic Korean comfort food. As a Bay Area resident, I couldn't believe I'd never heard of this place before. The place is difficult to find and is a bit "run-down". But oh boy the pork dishes are absolutely stunning and well prepared. Try the Bossam, a steamed pork belly that you wrap with fresh veggies. Perhaps the best Bossam in the Bay Area and the second doesn't even come close. All other dishes were also cooked home-style. It really feels like you're visiting your aunt known for cooking rather than a restaurant. I highly recommend for those who don't speak Korean to take along a Korean friend to get the most out of this place. Will return!
Sarah Sheffield: When I lived in Korea my favorite food was 감자탕. Theirs did not disappoint! Good sides and excellent service. Will be back again!
eunice Lee: Korean food is delicious. It is a home-cooked meal that was eaten at home in the old days. If you like Korean food, I highly recommend coming and eating. These days, lunch is also available for takeout.Cheonggukjang, soybean paste stew, kimchi stew, and samgyetang. It tastes good
Steve Kim: The taste of pork belly is excellent.
B K: Best cheonggukjang in town!

Gladys Balajadia: The dining area is wheelchair friendly, has good ventilation for a BBQ establishment, air conditioned, and windows tinted for comfort.Wheelchair accessibility: wheelchair parking is level, has a ramp, however the door is a manual entry push/pull door, ordering counter is a good height, the dining tables are wheelchair accessible.
Breanna Weiss: I know it's late to review, but my family and I went here about two years ago on a vacation. This bbq still lives rent free in my head two years later. If I had the means and time I'd hop a train cross country just get some this again. Seriously. Amongst all the places we ate at during our week vacation, this bbq is without a doubt the best. If you have a chance, grab a bite here!
Carin Mary Lee: Flawless barbecue! Our friend, who's a fan, was having a birthday, so I ordered a variety pack essentially, and even on Memorial Day weekend, everything was ready early, and the order was correct. But the FOOD. I'll be dreaming about the burnt ends meal for days. Even the side dishes were fire, I didn't taste one thing that wasn't mind blowingly awesome. Thanks for making a memorable birthday, y'all, we'll be back!
Rev.Travis: . The garlic bread could've definitely been more toasted, as it was kind of moist...
Lon.food.travel: . Oh yeah, it was hazy and hoppy. Maybe even a bit too hoppy for me. :P Then he decided to go for a can of beer Dibs on Next Wave from Humble Sea Brewing Company. Pretty flavorful. My friend said their brisket is the bomb so I decided to just get a quarter pound to go. I totally regretted that decision. I should have ordered at least half a pound. The briskets were so juicy and flavorful even the next day. My wife who’s a big meat eater gave her stamp of approval as well. I assume they make their own bbq sauce. Even the sauce was mesmerizing. I said I would get a full pound next time and my wife agreed. Can’t wait to go back~
Nathaniel Lanuza: My partner was craving BBQ which was fueled by bbq tik tok videos. She found this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised that the location was not too far from us.Conveniently located on a visible busy street, parking wasnt too bad. Theres ample spaces for vehicles and a few online order lanes for those who ordered via mobile pick up.We ordered online through their website and got the 3 combo plate which allows you to choose 3 meats out of the variety they had which includes the following:-brisket-tri tip- bbq pork ribs- pulled pork- bbq chicken- burnt endsThe 3 plate combo also gave you the options to choose 2 sides for your meats:- macncheese-beans-potato saladLast part was breads- garlic bread- smoked bread- corn breadWe were able to pick up the food after 10 - 15 mins wait and was in and out. When you pick up, you're welcomed with a nostalgic smell of bbq smoke. There was a lovely outdoor area which is set up to look like a picnic bench at a park. This Is perfect for people who come in gatherings as they also serve alcohol as well!Price was good and affordable. The 3 combo is basically 2 meals for the price of about, ~$30 bucks.I'd recommend this place as the flavors are good and the little apple cider vinegar concoction that they include with your plate accentuates the flavor of smoke from the bbq. It's a lovely sweet and mildy acidic compliment that cant be missed.100/10! Definitely coming back.
Michael Gondi: Are you looking for fast service and a family-friendly BBQ spot? South Winchester is IT!!They have plenty of space outdoors and indoors and there food is amazing. Their sauces taste great and you can really enjoy the smoky flavor on all their meets.Be prepared to spend money. They are by no means cheap which makes sense due to the amount of prep for the meats. Most standard sandwiches are $15+.Staff is extremely friendly and very kid friendly. They offered us free ice cream for our kiddos and we had a blast! Def recommend. Also they have the best breakfast tacos. Ever.
S Sharma: One of the few BBQ locations in San Hose/Campbell. The meat that they prepare is good and the portions are also of a good size.Parking can be a problem as the on site parking is limited and difficult to get in/out of.Good outdoor patio seating.May be a bit on the pricey side but worth it.
