Dave Kohr: . Best to order in Mandarin if you can. They take cash, and I think PayPal, but not credit cards. Tons of parking in a big lot in front of the mall.Parking: Extremely easy: big lot in front that's never full.
Jian He: Great restaurant for authentic Sichuan food. Very nice chef who is very friendly and welcoming. He also catered for our local school staff appreciation events in the past many years.
Shashwat Pradhan: Great Sichuan food 🥘 Definitely a must try in South Bay.
Ricky Yosef P Situmorang: Love this place
Phillip Cheng: Authentic Szechuan cuisine, you can always get good tasty food here to go, highly recommend.
Alex Chu: . Chef Z is also a really nice guy who will come out to chat with you and remembers regulars
Shelby Flowers: Delicious food, simple atmosphere. Restaurant is in the shopping center, back left. Takes cash only. Service was great/as expected.I had the twice cooked pork and boneless Sichuan chicken based on reviews, and it didn’t disappoint! Crunchy Sichuan chicken with just the right amount of heat for that tingle on your tongue. Pork was flavorful with mixed veggies. Will definitely be back.
E.R.S: Love the food! Great service and the owner is very friendly. Very tasty dan dan noodle at a great price! The trick is to order the right dish. The bad reviews I see are from people who do not understand what to order here. If you want your american “Chinese” food go to Panda Express. The dan dan noodles are great! Give them a try!

Chen Qian: Decent food and great value! We live nearby and come here very often. The food is good with a reasonable price. Highly recommend the house special dry mixed hot bowl and their special potato dish. The place will be even nicer with some remodeling/decoration work done.
S H: I have to go order. The cold noodle is very good and spicy! The braised beef tendon is actually beef shank, not the one I expected, but it’s tasty with lots of spices. The boba in the taro milk tea tastes like jelly or maybe they put the jelly instead of boba.

Baiqing Wang: , Taiwan Restaurant offers an unparalleled dining experience. It is definitely a culinary gem that stands out for its exceptional Chinese cuisine, charming ambiance, and impeccable service. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Taiwan Restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations and leave you craving for more.As a fan of fine dining, I had the pleasure of indulging in their delectable array of dishes, each meticulously crafted to perfection. From the moment I took my first bite of the garlic eggplant over noodle, I was enchanted by the freshness of the ingredients and the harmonious blend of savory and aromatic spices. Another highlight of my dining experience was the pan-fried belt fish, a dish that exemplifies the Restaurant's commitment to using only the finest quality ingredients. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a delicate crispiness on the outside giving way to succulent and tender flesh inside. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to delivering excellence in every aspect of their cuisine.Beyond the culinary delights, Taiwan Restaurant also offers a welcoming and inviting ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. The decor, adorned with traditional Chinese paintings and art, creates an atmosphere of elegance and refinement, providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. Moreover, the impeccable service provided by the waitstaff further enhances the dining experience. The waiters and waitresses are not only attentive and efficient but also exude warmth and hospitality, making diners feel right at home from the moment they step through the door.
TravelCat Supreme: This place has great food. Expensive, but tasty. The dumplings were delish.Recommended dishes Wor Wonton Soup …
Regan Lindsay: Wow! I genuinely don’t know if I’ve had better Chinese food. There were so many moments where I was like, “oh this is how it’s supposed to taste like?” It was divine. Best cooked meat. Best spices. Cooked to perfection!Dietary restrictions: We had someone with gluten restrictions in our party and there was plenty she could eat when they made it gluten free! Best food ever!

Sioeli Fusimalohi: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Chicken w Dry Chili
Randy Hsu: I like their fried rice which is not bland like others'. Good portion too.You must try their eggplant. It is crunchy and sweet on the outside.
mike d: Had the green beans, always a staple when I try new places. They were good, not great. Would I order them again, yes, but nothing I would crave over. I will try mapo tofu next time, another staple to judge by.Tried the mapo tofu and the salt and pepper fish. Loved both of them.
Lucy Lam: Fried rice is too greasy. General tsao chicken is good but the sauce should be on the side or it ruins crispy texture. $50 Fresh fish is good but small, broth is wasteful. It's finding Nemo in the ocean of broth. JUST scoop out the fish n give customer a small bowl of broth. In the remaining broth, kitchen continues adding new fish, spice n water so the broth will be more n more flavorful.

haiyan wu: This is really the first choice for late night snacks! Malatang is delicious, not inferior to Zhang Liang and Yang Guofu. By the way, you can order some stir-fried dishes and some wine with three or two friends👍The boss is very enthusiastic and even gives you free drinks to add to the fun. With such a layout, I wish you a prosperous business❤️
mike d: The food tasted very good, but service was so slow. Looked way u derstaffed for the business this place has.Update 9-13-23Service today was great. Must have been an off day my first visit. Had kapo, signature beef, and tea tree mushrooms. Absolutely delishhhhh.1-19-24Seems menu changed, although tasty, seems last time we came here was better.

Elaine K: I love the food that I've tried thus far, but there is almost always a busy signal when trying to call to place an order. It's for take-out only. Eggrolls are better in other locations, but their crab rangoons are very tasty, and their salt and pepper chicken wings are delicious. Just ask for non-spicy if you don’t like spicy food. This is a nice little mom-n-pop place for Chinese take-out that I recommend. They also do party trays.
Robert: The best Chinese restaurant on the eastside... even though I waited for well over an hour last night for my order because the cooks where pushing out trays of food. The food nor the quality or serving portion was compromised. We love this place and highly recommend it. Happy new years To all eastsiders

Shareece Davis: I've never had anything less than delicious and the owner is sweet as peach tea on a hot summer day 😍❤️💕.Dietary restrictions: Yummy food without whatever ails you!
Frank Carranza: Finally! We found an excellent Asian restaurant!!So please with the service and food.Food was absolutely fresh and delicious, highly recommend!
Sophia Pang (s0fa): and my family ran a well-known local spot on Bascom back in the 90s-early 2000s, so I'm pretty picky when it comes to any Chinese restaurant. I realize this is a more Americanized place, but I get cravings for Chinese take out like anyone else! I normally order hot and sour soup and some kind of vegetable dish to go
Gary Likhatchev: My wife Irene Borz and I stopped for a quick lunch on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised by the fast and attentive service, great tasty food, long list of favorite dishes.Vegetable eggroll was hot, golden and crispy, neither soggy nor burnt. The sauce had perfect balance of sweet and sour.Hot and sour soup was delicious! Be ready to order a large bowl to share, they do not serve individual cups. Mongolian beef was not what we were used to but still very tasty. Perfectly cooked General Tso's shrimps. The portions were large, we had to take almost a half of them to go.Suggestions for improvements. Get rid of annoying hip-hop music, play something calm and sophisticated, or opposite - really energetic like "Bond on Bond", or "Rasputin" by Boney M., or even Rolling Stones. A small vase with a flower on the table can significantly improve the entire feeling.
Eladio Padilla: I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. The menu had a great variety of dishes to choose from, and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Chinese dining experience.
Christina Ng: We love their cashew chicken. Please don’t ever change how you make it. We try other places and it’s not the same. I will have to take pictures next time we order. The salt and pepper fish and salt and pepper tofu are also things we like here.Recommended dishes …

Bruce MacNaughton: , gan bian nu rou si, si chuan la rou, and gan bian la si ji. Other dishes are good too but those are my favorites. Sometimes they have Sichuan dofu nau and that is excellent as well.Keep in mind that my ratings are for a Chinese restaurant, not a high-end place. The service is fast and efficient. The food is authentic. The tables are clean. That's about all that's needed to be a great Chinese restaurant. They cater to a Chinese crowd; if you're not comfortable fitting in, it's better that you don't go.Still great. Order the off-menu stir fried jalapenos, if you can handle the heat.
Catherine Zhang: I have been eating in restaurants in the Bay Area for more than 20 years. It is definitely our family's favorite, from young to old... It has been open since 1994. In such a highly competitive catering industry, it has been 30 years, and every dish tastes delicious. Change. The first meal every time my son returns to the Bay Area, and the last meal every time he leaves home, is always a family dinner here. Coordinate positioning: Newark, East Bay.The eighth picture shows the proprietress Nancy taking a photo with her family. Highly recommended to everyone, I hope their business will always be prosperous and my son will feel like he is back home every time he comes home.
io media: A pleasant setting with mint green furniture, clean tablecloth on tables, quiet relaxing atmosphere for a lunch with family. Staff greeted and accommodated us with mother in wheelchair to a booth. Tastey and not too spicy dishes were shared by family. For a neighborhood restaurant, it was more upscale than expected but 4 of us ate for $100. This was a whim choice from the family regular Chinese food go to, Good Neighbor close by. We agreed it worth returning to.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables in other dishes and tofu tooWheelchair accessibility: Mother's wheelchair tucked into booth end

James Chen: Very good Chinese restaurant! Sauerkraut and mutton vermicelli, beef burrito, tofu fish, and sizzling cumin lamb are my favorites!Very nice Chinese restaurant! Sauerkraut white meat pot, beef burrito, tofu fish are my favorites!
Usha Dawn: I was here for lunch as they are usually closed on Wednesdays. The service is great and the good portions are big. I ordered the chicken and my friend ordered the shrimp. It tasted great and then for dessert we ordered the sweet potato dipped in sugary syrup which you have to dip in cold water before you eat as it's very hot due to the sugary syrup. This is something very special for children in China who enjoy these as a dessert. It reminded me of giving healthy food wrapped up in cheese so that kids eat healthy 😊. For me the soup portion looked too big so it is advisable to go when you're hungry and can eat that big bowl. They do have a lot of options on their menu such as dim sum and dumplings as well. I will say give it a try and you will love to visit here. Make sure it's not on a Wednesday as they are closed for business.
Jelly2 Tasty: The only place in the Bay area I know of to get my favorite fish and tofu dish, now that Apple Green stopped carrying every dish I used to go there for. Here it is perfectly cooked, just to the point beyond translucence, flaking beautifully, not overcooked at all.Xlb and potstickers are not the best but edible, and better if dipped in black vinegar. Green onion pancakes are a little harder fried than I prefer but also edible.Worth it to come just for that fish and tofu, plus rice to soak up the sauce. No photos because we inhaled everything.
